December. It’s a month where the people in the town get excited for the upcoming holidays and Christmas. Even if it’s still a month away, the streets, shopping malls, buildings and any other places you could imagine are already full of Christmas decorations especially… Santa Claus.
Santa Claus. A weird old man with a weird mustache and big belly will enter your house without permission through the chimney to give the Christmas gift to the well-behaved children on Christmas Eve. To the children, it’s always their best moments to receive the gifts from that old man but for Irys, it’s not that pleasant.
Irys never got her Christmas gift from Santa before. The young Irys would always wonder if it’s because she didn’t do enough good deeds to receive the gift. She would try to be a better kid next year but the situation is the same and the young Irys would cry a lot when she found that she didn’t get the gift again on Christmas. This was until one day she thought that it’s not because she was a bad child but because of her demon blood of her Nephilim blood that flows inside her body. She started to hate Santa as she thinks that even though she is 50% demon, she is also 50% angel as well and Santa should try to look at her good side. She hated Santa until now. Of course Irys knew that Santa is just a mere fairy tale and does not exist in this world but she still despised that fat old man in red who kept saying ‘Ho Ho Ho’.
And her hatred for Santa was known by all the Hololive members, her fans and her rat girlfriend, Baelz Hakos who was now trying to think of a way to let Irys enjoy Christmas.
“Bae, have you done your work? You have been spacing out for quite a while.” The Warden of Time asked after stretching herself from a long time work.
“A-ah. I have done it. Just thinking about Christmas...” Bae said, tidying the piles of paperworks on her table.
“Time sure passed so fast. Kronii, can’t you make the time flow slower? Please?” The Guardian of Civilization said in puppy eyes which made Kronii’s heart clenched.
“U-urgh! E-even if you act so cute, I still can’t simply control the time, Mumei...” Kronii said but the other members think that if Mumei continues to ask for it, the cool and self-confident Kronii would lose to her cute little owl.
“Do you have anything in mind, Bae?”
“Is it about Irys?”
Space and Nature asked at the same time. The chairman of the Council hesitated a little but still decided to tell them.
“Well, y’all know. Irys doesn’t really like Santa so I’m thinking of how to make her enjoy Christmas. But I couldn’t think of any places to bring her.”
“Ah. It’s a date invitation.”
“Ah. It’s a date invitation.”
“Ah. It’s a date invitation.”
“Ah. It’s a date invitation.”
The other four said it in unison, making the rat cheeks burning intensely.
“S-s-s-s-o what’s wrong if it’s a date invitation!? Y’all also have a date too!”
It’s true. All of them have a plan for the date with their girlfriends. Kronii was going to bring Mumei out to try the new berry cake and tea at the new cafe while Sana and Fauna were going to have a camping trip and Winter Stargazing. It’s not the thing that they would simply tell anyone but they were not shy to talk about it either.

Bae facepalmed herself, expecting them to be at least a little shy about it. But right now, it’s not the time for the rat girl to complain about her fellow council members. It’s almost time to leave and she would like to hear some advice from them.
“D-d-do you know where I should bring Irys to?” All of them smirked, making Bae very embarrassed and her cheeks were still burning.
“How about a place you two spent most of the time together?” Sana asked
“But then it won’t be special anymore. They should go somewhere else to let her enjoy this special time!” Mumei said.
“How about Karaoke? Irys likes to sing.”
“Kroniii, a special place.” Mumei pouted.
“Well, if it’s just to make her enjoy Christmas, I have a great idea.” Fauna said, getting closer to Bae and whispered the idea in her eyes. Bae's face was getting redder and redder when Fauna explained to her.
“W-what? A-are you sure this idea is going to work??”
“Of course~ By doing this, Irys will be able to enjoy the Christmas and might even be less hateful towards Santa~” Fauna showed a sinister smile which sent a chill down Sana's spine.
“What does Fauna mean, Kronii?”
“I have no idea...”
Irys was walking around the city, finding a gift for her girlfriend on Christmas Eve.
Looking around her surroundings, her desire of burning down all the Santa Claus decorations she met was getting stronger. She still controlled herself though, as they were just decorations (she had no idea whether she would directly burn the Santa if she met a real one) and it’s a crime to do so.
She took a deep breath, wanting to go home as soon as possible to cuddle her rate girl while enjoying the spaghetti with meatballs that Baelz intended to cook today. However, thinking of a Christmas present is not an easy job especially to Irys who never received any gift from the damn Santa.
“Irys? Are you okay?” A girl called for her from behind, Irys turned around, seeing Ina is behind her with a takodachi floating beside Ina.
“Ina, what are you doing here?”
“Just buy something before I leave the town. How about you? You seem to be sulking just now.”
“Err... I...” Irys explained everything to her, about her desire to burn down Santa and not knowing what to buy for Baelz. Ina nodded after listening to them.
“Hmphm hmphm. Okay. First of all, burning down the Santa is ‘Ina’pproparite and you will be a crim’Ina’l.”
“You just want to make puns, don’t you, senpai?”
“Wait, listen to me. Although I can’t help you for the first one, I can help you for the second one!”
“Really?”
“Yes! Let’s just ask Ancient One about it.”
“Wait, should we really ask the Ancient One about what to pick for a present?”
“It will be fine.” A halo appeared on Ina’s head and a book was summoned. The book released an amazing Mana when opened. Ina said some ancient words that Irys couldn’t understand at all. And after a few moments, the book closed and the halo disappeared.
“Ancient one said don’t have to buy anything. Just go back home and enjoy the night. He said that if both of you are hungry, bring Bae out to a restaurant to make the night even better.” Ina smiled.
“Okay... I doubt that will work but I guess I will try once. If it doesn't work, I will make you treat me to some decent food, Ina.”
“If it works, you have to tell me everything, is that alright?”
“No problem!”
“Good. A contract is formed then.” They shook hands, and a Mana mark appeared on the back of their hands, indicating the contract is formed successfully and they have to comply with it no matter what.
Irys waved at Ina while going back to her apartment.
“Well well well. It should be fun now~”
Irys walked towards their apartment, feeling the snow gently touch her face. She felt weird for not preparing anything for Bae and would feel guilty if Bae prepared something for her but she couldn’t give her anything. Nevertheless, she still wanted to trust Ancient One and Ina for once. For the first time in her life, she felt so nervous to open her apartment door, standing there for 5 minutes and people walking by are either thinking Irys is a weird person or thinking her as a suspicious person. Irys shook her head, taking a deep breath and opened the door, only to find the lights were turned on but her girlfriend didn’t greet her like usual, and the weirdest thing is there’s a huge box in their house.
Irys got closer to the box cautiously, reading the note on the box.
“Please open me?”
Irys unwrapped the ribbon, Bae jumped up from the box, surprising Irys.
“Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!!! I’m your Santa Claus, Baelz Hakos!!!” The rat girlfriend said as she gave a bright smile to Irys. Bae is now wearing a Santa Claus themed outfit that shows Bae’s slender body clearer. It is similar to her usual attire but her crop top does not have long sleeves and has a shorter skirt as well as having one or two ribbons wrapping her body. Irys is making a straight face but deep inside, her heart has been pounding non-stop.
“I-irys?” Bae called her name and it made Irys really want to hug her cute rat girl very much. “H-hey. Do you not like it? If so, I’m sorry...” Bae pulled Irys’ sleeves while apologizing after seeing Irys didn’t give any reaction.
And seeing that, the last string in Irys’ mind broke and caused her to hug Bae suddenly. This scared Bae a little but eventually the rat girl felt relieved that her girlfriend is not mad while feeling shy when thinking that she is wearing such exposing clothes in front of Irys.
“Bae...” Irys got closer to Bae’s ear while still leaning on her.
“Y-yeah?”
“Are you my present?” Irys whispered in Bae’s ear, stiffened Bae’s back when she felt Irys’ breath in her ear. A deep red blush could be seen in Bae’s face when the Nephilim caressed her waist slowly and gently.
“W-w-w-w-ell.... Y-you are not wrong but... Kya!”
After hearing the answer she wants, Irys interrupted Bae by princess carrying Bae into her arms and bringing her to their bedroom. Although Bae wanted to argue why Irys must carry her like this suddenly all the time, Bae decided to keep her mouth shut as she kind of likes it when Irys does it forcefully.
When they reached the room, Irys threw Bae to the bed and pinned her down with a bloodthirsty smile which made Bae gulp while feeling her body and face burning intensely.
“Oh my god, Bae~ This Christmas Eve is so good...” Irys intertwined her fingers with Bae’s to lock Bae under her, feeling the rat girl’s heart beating faster when she moved closer to Bae and sealing her lips against Bae’s for a deep and passionate kiss. The kiss lasted for a minute and Bae would hold her lover’s hand tightly when getting kissed and would show a lonely expression when Irys parted her lips. Seeing that, Irys licked her lips and continued her sentence “... but what I’m going to do next will be even better~”
