When Muriel, a journalist from London (actually archaeologist-ahem), is sent on a mission to find the rumoured magical town, they're pulled into a difficult situation.
While they're trying to find out about the so-called miracle, Muriel's boss is getting impatient about their journey.
Are they going to hide the truth to save the magical family from the outside world? Or are they going to choose for the money and fame by writing the article for their boss?

Chapter 1: Prologue

My name is Muriel Malum. I’m a journalist from England. Don’t worry, I’m not famous. The only time I have to put down my name is to sign any paperwork. So, what do I write about? I write articles about archaeology. From the rumours of the sunken city of Atlantis to the hidden treasures of El Dorado. 

But I hear you asking why… Why did you sail all the way to Colombia? ‘Work’ would be the short answer to that question. It all started when-

 

“Argh!” I curse under my breath. My hand that was calmly resting on the small desk is now cumpling the piece of paper. Ink drips from the pen as I put it down and sigh. Maybe today won’t be the best day to write down my story of how I entered one of the most beautiful communities here on earth, the village of Encanto.
