RANBOO AND TOMMYINNIT ARE SIBLINGS?!?!??! (NOT CLICKBAIT!?!?!??!?!)

Summary:

(Discontinued 'till further notice.)

I forgot the name of the vigilante fanfic I read a while ago so I decided to write a story inspired by it.
If anyone knows the fanfic, please link. Thanks.

Ranboo tries to juggle taking care of his younger brother Tommy, and his role as a vigilante while covering his and Tommy's tracks so their villainous father won't be able to find them.

Tommy is also juggling his job at the coffee shop down the road while keeping his identity under wraps from heroes and villains alike.

Quackity, one of the top dogs in the underworld and owner of Las Nevadas has Tommy on his radar, I wonder why...
Also, did I mention villains and the top heroes LOVE going to that coffee shop Tommy works at now???

Chapter 1: Well, an introduction I guess-

Chapter Text

“Ran, what are you doing?”

“Toms, we have to go-”

Before the memory could finish, I was snapped out of my daze by someone calling my name.

"Tommy! Are you seriously sleeping on the job again?"

I look up to see a coworker of mine, Jack, looking at me with an unamused stare. I yawn and mumbled,

"Sorry Jack didn't get enough sleep last night, ya know..."

Jack sighs "Yeah, I know. But you should shorten the amount of time you're out at night, this is the fifth time this week, Niki and Bad are getting concerned."

I give Jack a tired smile.

"Okay, I'll make sure I get enough sleep, stop worrying."

Jack rests a hand on my shoulder.

"Good, now man the register, gremlin."

"Aw, fuck you Manifold!"

I whine as I start to sag more into the sweater I was wearing.

"LANGUAGE!"

Bad yells. He must've heard me talking, oh well I'm too tired to say something back.

I yawn again as I slowly walk to the cash register. By the time I get to the register, the bell on the door chimes. I look over, my eyes widen and my tiredness fades as I see who walks into the shop. I quickly try to mask my awe and surprise and mostly coherent, I stuttered out

"W-Welcome to our coffee shop, what would y-you like to order?"

Holy shit,

IT'S THE WARDEN!

Chapter 2: Ain't an actual chapter (Kind of Important)

Summary:

Updates.

Chapter Text

Anyways,

👋Hello👋

I'm not good at updating stuff I work on so updates will probably be slow. Sometimes I might post a lot, others not a lot or at all.

So please be patient if you're subscribed, and don't worry this is not on hiatus or anything.

Have a nice day/night! :]

Love, Someone Falling Flat

Chapter 3: Oil and Coffee Beans

Summary:

Warden orders coffee, duh.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

You could hear gears whizz and grind as Warden made his way to the counter. As he stood in front of the counter, I looked up with amazement.

If you don't know who the Warden was, then you're living under a rock. Warden is one of the top five ranking heroes in our city (specifically, in third place.) and the man earned it. The man's very kind and humble, he helps out lower-income areas when he can, and is considered to be an all-around nice guy. Even pays for damages he caused! Which is considered a win in my book!

"Hello, um..."

Warden looks up at the board, he raises his mechanical hands to the goggles in front of his eyes and moved them more on top of his forehead to get a better look at our Menu board. His arms make a harder grinding sound as he does it.

"May I have Matcha Latte, 2 shots, and a black coffee, please?"

"S-Sure, I'll put t-that in for you!" I smiled tiredly, looking down at the register tablet, typing in his order. The Warden smiles slightly before his face turns into concern.

"Hey, kid? Are you doing well? You look like a dead man walking."

I stop for a moment before I bust out laughing.

"First off, I'm not a kid, I'm 18. Secondly, yes I'm PERFECTLY fine."

The Warden looks me up and down for a moment.

"You don't look a day over 13, kid."

Warden deadpanned. He was FAR off with my age, I'm 15 actually, but no one other than my brother and friends will know that.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, Piss Boy."

The Warden sputtered.

"Piss Boy???"

He choked.

But before he could say anything else, Niki steps from behind me, seemingly out of nowhere.

"Here's your latte and coffee, sir."

Warden mutters a 'Thank you' before taking the cups.

"Have a nice day, Warden!"

I smile sweetly. He sighs, bemused.

"You too, kid"

"Quit calling me Kid, Piss Boy!"

I screech.

"Quit calling me Piss Boy then, the names Sam."

I stand there for a moment, to process what he said then I say

"Call me Tommy."

He seems to nod in confirmation, then walks to the exit.

Notes:

I'll probably go back and rewrite some stuff lol.

Chapter 4: About writing this..

Chapter Text

Okay, not a chapter, unfortunately.

The reason this hasn't been updated is that I was focused on schoolwork and mostly being sick. I prefaced this in some of the beginning chapters of this that updates will be slow but I apologize for not having many. After this week is over it's spring break for me, so MAYBE I might post another chapter during that time.

Chapter 5: In light of recent news...

Chapter Text

Okay, so everyone has heard the news of Techno's passing at this point.

This fic is kind of on a long hiatus and probably won't be updated often. Still, nothing will change with Techno being written (I wasn't planning on him being this awful two-sided hero anyway.),but if I ever think of writing an angstier story with Techno, I'll try and tone him being rude and stuff, you know?

Chapter 6: Yeah no....

This will NOT be continued until further notice. I've became disillusioned with the SMP and this fic has been dead in the water for 3-4 months now. I want to move on to more decent stuff. I guess if you want to pick this up and adapt it or add on, do it.
