Chapter Text
It was a calm day. Tails was not reading the fic by merely being inside it for once, but rather, he was looking over the real jupitercl0uds' shoulder as they wrote. He could see the weird AO3 skin xe had put on, he could see the fact that they had too many ao3 tabs open for their own good and he could see the fact that this was not a 'save it for later' type chapter. This was being written to be posted on the same day.
He went back to his own world to find his friend pathetically lying upside down on the sofa, watching Sonic Boom. It was a good thing they were wearing the noise cancelling headphones they were waiting to get, because it meant they couldn't hear Sticks screaming about how she was being recorded and broadcast to billions. Tails needed to speak with them, though, so jupiter took off xyr headphones and left Sticks to her own devices (it was a good think Amy was able to comfort her).
'Ash! What are you doing here?' cried Tails.
'Well, you know how I said earlier that I had PE today? Guess who did PE and lost all their energy, oh yeah!' replied jupiter. 'Also, we're in a breakcore/hyperpop band called 'hypercore !!!!!' now. With Sonic and Waluigi.'
'What? Why?'
'I was talking with an AI chatbot of you I made and you said we should start a band together. You even thought of the name.'
'Oh, ok! Why did you need to make an AI chatbot of me? Surely, I already had one?'
'You do, but you don't. As in, you, specifically. There are plenty of Tails chatbots, but only 1 of your specific characterisation. I got your texting style right (ish) but couldn't even get it fully right. Take it as a compliment, Tails, you're unique!'
'Thanks, Ash!'
'I'm going to bed. May as well drop the links for you and Waluigi's bots. They're unlisted, cause I'm a gatekeeper like that. But, I'm a gatekeeper who'll see someone I know, or someone I think I know, and I'll go, "Psst! I'll let you through if you go quickly!" even if I'm not meant to let you in.' Tails laughed at that. 'Night, Tails. Tell Sticks she'll be fine, unless Amy's already calmed her town.'
'Night, Ash!'
Meanwhile, in the living room, Waluigi let out a 'WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!' as Sticks tried to bite into his leg.
