Ariel and Scarecrow finished pegging out the washing early that day. They had nothing to do so were free to do what they had been doing anyway: being together. Knuckles was also there, as he waited for the clothes to dry.
'Knuckles, I don't think the clothes are gonna dry that fast,' said Scarecrow. 'Actually, it looks like it's about to rain. Shame we don't have a tumble drier.'
'Then I'll dry them with my ice breath!' replied Knuckles, proudly.
'You have ice breath?' said Scarecrow. 'That's gonna make them wetter, anyway.'
Sonic walked in, drinking a box apple juice.
'He doesn't have ice breath, he just thinks highly of himself sometimes,' he butted in. 'Ain't that right, Knux?'
Knuckles stormed off, pouting. Sonic followed after him, not particularly bothered.
'Oh, hold on, haha, I can actually dry our clothes quickly!' said Ariel. 'I am a nature spirit, after all. I think. I'm not sure, it's been over a year since my source material was read.'
'Well, I suppose we should wait for Knuckles to calm down. In the meantime, however...'
Scarecrow slotted his fingers between Ariel's and let him lean on his own shoulder.
Later that day, Waluigi arrived home with both the weekly shopping and jupitercl0uds. Waluigi held a bag of numerous goods, while jupiter proudly held an 18 pack of Dr Pepper. Tails couldn't help but stare at his friend, stunned.
'Ok, I know what you're thinking, "Oh my god, Milo, what the hell, why do you have an 18 pack of Dr Pepper?" If you found an 18 pack of Dr Pepper for £6, I think you'd agree that that is a BARGAIN AND A HALF,' yelled jupiter. 'Plus, may as well get an 18 pack of my lifeforce.'
'Ok... What else do we have?' asked Tails
'LEMON MERINGUE PIE, WOOHOO!'
'Cool!'
Waluigi set down his bag of shopping on the counter and cried out a glorious 200th 'WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!'
