Ladybug sat on the rooftop trying not to cry.
"You don't have to do it. Maybe we can come up with something." Her hands were shaking but she didn't cared about it. She could loose him just like that.
"LB, listen. ShadowMoth know who I am, I can't be guardian anymore. We have only few minutes, we need to hurry up." Chat Noir took her hand and kissed gently. "But before it, can I know what's your name?"
"Y-yeah, it won't make a difference if you are going to forget it." She couldn't help herself anymore and began to cry "Marinette… I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng"
Chat giggled but in the same time a few tears felt on his cheeks. He moved closer to her and kissed her lightly. Ladybug didn't push him away. Chat took a few steps away.
"Adrien Agreste. It was pleasure to meet you."
She was too shocked to react and before she realised, boy gave up his guardianship.

After all, Ladybug took him to his house. She made up some story about being attacked and getting amnesia. It surprised her that Nathalie took it so calmly, but she didn't think to long about it and went home.
She didn't speak to anyone for the next few days, and when she finally decided to talk to Alya, she told her everything. She also gave her fox's miraculous permanently. Over the next week she found out that Agrestes had gone to America to treat Adrien's "amnesia".
The akumas attacks stopped shortly after, but Ladybug and Rena continued patrolling Paris each evening.

It was 8th anniversary of Marinette's becoming guardian and loosing Adrien. She was sitting in her room watching some cartoons. She wasn't in the best mood, but in those few years she almost got over all of it.
Her phone suddenly rang, Alya's number shown on screen. When she picked up, her best friend started to talk too fast for her to understand.
"Alya, slow down, I can't understand anything."
"Oh my, sorry sweetie. I was telling you that I'm taking you to the karaoke bar. You need to come out tonight and because Nino works there as DJ, he can get us free drinks. I do not accept any refusal!"
"Ugh, okay. But can we be back before 10 p.m.? I have a shift at the bakery tomorrow"
"Don't worry about! I'll be picking you up in 30 minutes, you better get ready!"
Just like she said, Alya was standing in Dupain's living room half hour later and in the next half hour Marinette and here were sitting in the bar drinking and trying to sing with the performers. They even sang one song together on stage. All this time Marinette was feelling like someone's watching her. Finally she found a guy who was sitting a few tables away and was sipping cola. He was wearing green beanie and glasses. She couldn't see his face, but he wasn't giving her creepy-guy-at-bar vibes.
He suddenly stood up and walked over to Nino to ask for song. Marinette saw that Nino was very happy about talking with him and she thought that it must be his old friend.
Music began play from the speakers and the boy started the performance. Singing was definitely not his talent, but he was involved enough that it was a pleasure to watch him. Blonde hair stuck out from beneath the cap, and emerald eyes scanned the bar from behind his glasses. When he got to the chorus he managed to make eye contact with Marinette and smiled widely.
"…I won't forget you, but I may
Forget your name"
There was only one smile like this in the world.
And she knew that this smile was only for her.
"My lady"
