Summary
“His kwami knows who he is right?"
“They all do! But they can’t tell anyone!”
Alya looked over at Tikki who nodded in confirmation.
“Can they give hints?”
Tikki shook her head.
“It doesn’t matter, Alya! I can’t know who he is either!”
“But what if you weren’t the one to know?”
Marinette froze and pulled away. “What?”
Alya met her gaze, stroking the sides of her face. “What if I knew Chat’s identity? It keeps you from knowing each other but helps us coordinate. We could include him in the planning! I could help support him like I do for you!”
Marinette nodded. “I… I can’t know all the details. But yes, anything, please! But you have to never slip, Alya. You can’t tell me who he is. You can’t hint! You may have to lie to me to protect him!”
“I understand.” Alya said, smiling.
This could work.

Summary
It started the way it always did, with bickering over something stupid. This time it was what they’d do for dinner. He wanted to make his homemade curry, and she wanted to order in from her favorite restaurant.
“We don’t have the money to order in every night!”
“But we have the money for that antique vinyl record player?!” she scoffed.
It quickly devolved into “you always” and “you nevers” as they weaponized every single past grievance one after another.
Nino had long ago learned to tune it all out, to close his door, and put his headphones on with the volume all the way up.

Summary
“You didn’t have to do all this,” Chat Noir said, feeling more than a bit guilty.
Marinette waved away his objection. “I just want you to feel at home, kitty.”
How was it that he felt more at home in Marinette’s room that he had only been in a handful of times than he ever had at the mansion?
He wanted this. He wanted this all the time as Adrien.
Plagg didn’t understand. Adrien wanted to be able to go to school, hang out after class, have sleepovers and movie nights with Nino, video game tournaments with Marinette, and to make his own decisions for himself.
He didn’t want to erase Adrien, he wanted to actually get to be Adrien.
...
Or the fic where Adrien erases everyone's memory of him so he can get away from his father and live his own life.

Summary
With the zip of her yo-yo, Ladybug was gone.
Adrien was alone. His stomach dropped like an avalanche, and his whole body crumpled like tissue paper. The cry that tore past his lips didn’t sound human. He didn’t have words for the maelstrom of grief that overtook him.
Solid arms wrapped around him and pulled Adrien into an armored chest.
“Wayzz, shell off.”
“N-Nino?” Adrien sobbed, melting into his friend’s comforting presence.
“Hey, Kit-Kat.”
Adrien shoved himself back into Nino's arms and just cried.
“She left, Nino. She left. I knew that she would, but I hoped… I hoped I would be… enough.”
“I know, man. I know. I’m here. Her decision had nothing to do with you. You’re more than enough. I’m not going anywhere.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
“You’re going to be the Guardian. That might be a promise you can’t keep.”
“Adrien, look at me.”
Adrien had always seen the depths of the ocean in Ladybug’s eyes. But Nino’s golden gaze held the warmth of the sun.
“I’m not going anywhere. Not ever.”
…
Maybe the person you need is not the one you’ve had your eye on, but the one who’s been right behind you supporting you the whole time.

Summary
Series of Shorts written for Adrino Week 2024
Day 1 - Music
Nino knew that Adrien could play the piano, but Nino had never had the pleasure of experiencing it even though they had been friends for more than a year. (Platonic/Fluff)
Day 2 - Cooking
The table was set. Nino still thought the rose petals were probably a bit much, but Nino needed it to be over the top too because words were not his strong suit, so the setting needed to do half the talking for him. (Confession/Fluff)
Day 3 - Hands
Their friendship started with fist bumps. (Pining/fluff)
Day 4 - Kwamis
One of the perks of holding his miraculous full was Wayzz became a constant companion. Wayzz was a really good listener and he always had a bit of advice to offer. Nino was learning he had a surprising amount to share. (Platonic - hurt/comfort)
Day 5 - Family
“Hey Ma, what’s up?” Nino already knew it couldn’t be good news if she was calling. “Noёl’s throwing up at school.” (Platonic - sick fic - sorta)
Day 6 - Heroes - what’s the point in being a hero if you can’t fix anything?! (Platonic/hurtcomfort)

Summary
After completing Going It Alone, which loosely follows the Doom Tree Arc, I suddenly started getting ideas for a sequel that just as loosely follows the Black Moon Arc. So then, a series was born!
In Going It Alone, Usagi is revived to fight a new enemy, but upon awakening resolves to handle this new crisis on her own - probably one of the worst decisions she's ever made in her life. But it will be a defining mistake.
In Coming of Age, Small Lady is sent to the past after her home is destroyed by invaders, so that she can grow up to become the savior they need her to be. But she is a child who has been essentially been exiled form everything she knows and loves. Much healing must take place before she can live up to her family's legacy.

Summary
"A strange man with an interest in the Miraculous, hiding in plain sight," Chat Noir whispers. "Am I crazy, Carapace? Do you think this is crazy? Was Gabriel Agreste Hawk Moth, and Shadow Moth, and Monarch?"
He puts his hands on Nino’s shoulders, their eyes still locked.
He doesn’t sound crazy.
But saying this outright would contradict so much of what they found out today. It would even contradict Ladybug’s own words.
"I just… I don’t know,“ Nino begins, "like, dude, I just told you that I disliked that man so much that I would trash a statue erected in his honor. I might not be the best person to answer that question."
"I think that’s precisely why you’re the perfect person to answer that question," Chat Noir replies, and the earnestness in his voice nearly kills Nino.
"No," Nino says. "I don’t think you’re crazy."

Bookmarker's Notes
Chat Noir has thoughts after making the documentary about his father. And needs to think out loud to someone. Of course he reaches out to Nino. Nighttime caranoir talks. Very satisfying!

Summary
“Miraculous Ladybug works on soulmarks too,” Plagg tells him between bites of his dinner, barely paying attention to the conversation at all. Kwami can’t get soulmarks, apparently (and Adrien is supposed to pretend he never noticed waking up with a tiny pitch-black pawprint on the ball of his foot; supposed to not count it, when he’s counting). “Even if she left a color on you, it’d disappear with all the other damage.”
“Miraculous Ladybug thinks soulmarks are damage?” Adrien asks incredulously.
“I would agree with that assessment, personally,” Plagg says, popping another bite of cheese into his mouth. “And I am the resident expert on damage.”

Summary
Adrienne knew it broke her heart when they threw off dresses that their mother loved. Ones their father had designed so the family could match. She had dreamed of it for years, having a daughter, but this-–the screaming and thrashing and refusal—was not her dream.
Their heart would already be heavy with guilt when Gabriel entered. He'd explain how imperative it was that they wore whatever their mother wanted them to wear because it would make her happy, and their job—both their jobs—was to ensure Emilie was happy. After speaking, Gabriel would hold their gaze so the weight of his words would settle in Adrienne's heart. And when Adrienne broke away, he'd smile, pat the child on the head, and leave them with expectation.Bookmarked by Kasienda

Summary
Nino knows better than to go down dark alleys at night. He really, really does.
He's not sure now what had possessed him to do it anyway.
Nino's fairly fast. He's faster now than he used to be, and he's way more acrobatic. He knows he could climb the rough walls on either side of the alley, given a chance.
Like the kind of chance he could maybe get by throwing a bait wallet down the alleyway past knife guy.
Knife guy's not giving him that kind of chance.
Nino really wishes he'd listened to Alya.
