"Getting asphyxiated on top of 3 broken bones and bruises. If I am crueler, I won't let you out of this place for less than two months"
Vyn sighed to Artem's health chart in his hands. As NXX primary physician, he took charge in the members health very seriously. Who knew how many accidents such as this would happen in the future. Despite mainly dealing with mental illness, he made sure to read medicine magazines as well as thesis to keep updated with general health information.
He took a glance at the other men who stood on Artem's right and left, glaring at him. Rosa was sitting beside Artem looking apologetic.
Rosa had given them a brief of what happened. The transparent chambers, lever, choice of death and alive. While Rosa had hastily pulled the lever to let her oxygen taken, Ava Kendrick was impatient and pushed the button that almost ended Artem's and Jones' lives.
Fortunately, they had arrived first and left the rest to the police while they rushed to Pax private hospital.
"Listen. If you want to barge into the enemy's headquarter, you are very much allowed. But keep us informed! Do you even have any idea how the three of us almost got heart attack simultaneously?"
Marius ranted and both victims, one staring to the ground while the other looked sideways, tried their best not to hear Marius.
"Do you know" Luke started "about the chip we embed into animal? I have been trained to do it. Would you like me to put tracking chips under your skin?"
Rosa and Artem shuddered with fear.
"Do this twice and it won't be a question. Understood?"
The two nodded.
Marius sighed.
"I don't want to be a party pooper, but we still need to continue our progress. Since our lawyer is out of commissioned, will you accompany me, Miss?"
Rosa quickly stood. Seemed like she still has some excess power to burn.
"Then I will leave Artem with you guys?"
He left his sentence in a question, wondering if they would be able to keep vigilant of the man. Marius would have no doubt that Luke and Vyn were capable enough. He just wandered if they would want to keep him safe enough.
"Do not worry. If there's any changes, I will text in group chat"
Vyn nodded, the slight sun ray hitting the corner of his glasses, giving him an aura of murder to anyone who dared defy him.
"I will keep princess safe"
Luke took the seat beside Artem's right side and pushed it to the corner, giving him a wide berth of view.
"Alright, let's go miss"
The door to Pax's most expensive hospital room closed shut.
"...did you just call me princess?"
