Chapter Text
Enji woke up with a sigh and nuzzled closer to Rei, burying his face in her pure white hair. They couldn't sleep unless they were in each others arms. Enji warming Rei up and Rei cooling Enji down. It left them with the perfect sleeping temp.
Rei sighed as well when she woke up and turned in Enji's large arms; cupping his cheek an placing a feather soft kiss on his lips.
“Good morning my love…” Enji mumbled into her lips, finally opening his one eye. The other one was forever shut, scarring covering almost the entire left side of his face. He usually wore a simple black eye patch that he lit on fire while he was working. It made him look more menacing he thought.
“Good morning my love. It’s time to wake up.” Rei said, trying to sit up only for Enji to pull her back down with minimal force.
“Five more minutes.” He fake whined, hugging her like a teddy bear and burying his face in between her breasts. Rei started laughing and playfully struggled in his arms.
“Enji I have to make breakfast!” Rei said while laughing and kicking her legs.
“Let the kids starve.” He huffed not letting her go.
“Don’t you have an important meeting?” Rei said, poking inside his ear. He let out a huff and finally lifted his head.
“I’m the boss. The meeting doesn’t start until I show up.” He said and placed another kiss on her lips. Rei finally wiggled out of his arms and smacked his ass.
“Up old man. You can’t be showing up late to your own meetings.” She said pulling on some clothes. Enji put his face in his pillow, letting out annoyed old man grumbles before he got too hot and sat up to get ready for his own day. He took a quick shower then headed to his closet. He always wore a dark red silk button up shirt, black slacks, and a black business jacket to work. He never wore a tie and his top buttons were open, showing a soft patch of red chest hair. It drove his wife crazy and gave him the “leader” vibe he wanted to give off to his workers. His plain black eye patch was the last thing he added, fire over taking it and giving him that menacing look.
Enji stretched as he headed down the hall to the dining room. Pictures of his family lined the halls. Only Tenko and Shouto still lived at home but his other three kids and their spouses dropped by often. His house was never quiet.
A few new pictures added was a pair of twins Fuyumi and Rumi had adopted. They were about 5 years old and according to the doctor, both of them were quirkless. It was a little boy and little girl. Thanks to quirk discrimination as soon as they were diagnosed they had been given up to foster care. They had been lucky to end up with Fuyumi and Rumi who loved them, quirk or not. Rumi had been nervous to introduce the twins to Enji since her own parents had reacted poorly to her adopting two quirkless children. But Enji and Rei had been overjoyed. Demanding to know what their first grandchildren liked. What did they need? Did they have any allergies? What was their favorite food?
Syko and Sako were nervous when they first met Enji, he was a very large and intimidating man until he had got to his knees with a big smile and gave them a warm bear hug, introducing himself as “grandpa”. Rei was jealous that since then, they seemed to favor Enji over her. They did love cooking with her though and doing arts and crafts with their new uncle Shouto. Uncle Tenko was shy but showed them how to play the best video games. Uncle Natsuo taught them soccer and took care of any owies. Uncle Touya was a super cool hero like mama Rumi and married to another super cool hero, Uncle Hawks.
They came to every Sunday dinner and Enji was always happily taking pictures and showing off his “first grand babies”.
Enji placed a soft kiss to the top of Tenko’s head much to the 19 year olds annoyance. He kissed 15 year old Shouto’s cheek making him complain and wipe his cheek.
“Don’t do that old man! I know where those lips have been” Shouto complained.
“Oh please. I brushed my teeth. Don’t wipe off my kisses!” Enji boomed and then hugged Shouto tight, starting to attack his cheek with kisses. Rei poked her head in and shook her head with a smile when she heard screaming and struggling.
“So gross! Let me go! Tenko help me!” Shouto shrieked. Tenko just rolled his eyes and kept sipping his coffee. Enji only stopped his attack when Shouto kicked the table and Rei shouted “hey my table!” Enji finally let him go with a grin and sat down in his chair, opening his phone to read his messages. Rei appeared with their food and sat down next to Enji.
“Looks amazing as always dear” Enji said and kissed her cheek. He put his phone down and started eating.
“Daddy… I got accepted into UA.” Shouto said, taking a bite while looking at Enji. Enji paused for only a moment then kept eating.
“UA is a very good school. If that’s where you want to go you should accept.” Enji said. Shouto nodded.
“I’m entering the general course. I don’t want to be a hero.” Shouto said. Enji held back his sigh of relief and pat his hand.
“Your mother and I will support you no matter what Shouto. You know that.” Shouto smiled at him and finished eating.
“I’ll see you all later! I’m hanging out with Izuku at the mall today. Daddy can I have your black credit card?” Shouto said with the biggest puppy eyes he could summon. Enji blew steam out of his nose but took out his wallet to give said black credit card to his fashionista son. He didn’t know if he was more annoyed about how high his credit card bill was going to be or that he was hanging out with the annoying mini All Smite.
Yagi Toshinori, AKA, All Smite had adopted Midoriya Izuku as a new born after a fight with a hero caused an apartment complex to collapse and kill everyone inside. The only survivor was baby Izuku and All Smite had felt such tremendous guilt when he came across the dead body of Midoriya Inko and a bleeding baby Izuku. Now Izuku wanted for nothing. He was as spoiled and loved as Enji’s own kids. And some how Shouto and Izuku had become best friends. Enji could admit the green bean was a sweet heart and super smart despite who his father was. It was just annoying that Shouto was best friends with his enemy’s child.
Not even being diagnosed quirkless made All Smite change his love. He had simply signed Izuku up for every self defense class he could find. Even hired a few villains to teach him. With Izuku’s smarts and skills he could escape or fight any person, no matter what their quirk was. He also always had at least 10 weapons on him at all times.
Shouto snatched the card with a cry of triumph and kissed Enji’s cheek before taking off full speed out the door. Enji just mourned for his future payments and stood to leave himself. He gave Rei one more kiss and walked out with Tenko, heading to their first meeting.
Enji met Giran at a warehouse by the docks, looking over the new shipment of party drugs for his club. Still illegal but nothing addicting. Enji and All Smite kept the under ground economy in their iron fists. No human trafficking, no selling addicting life destroying drugs, and children are OFF LIMITS. No one even dared attack the hero high schools lest they incite the wrath of The Devil or All Smite. And they were never merciful.
Along with their illegal business the two super villains also had a multitude of legal ones. They needed some way to launder their money of course. If anyone came to them desperate for a job but didn’t want to break any laws they were generous with their job offers.
Today Giran looked skittish and kept looking around, making Enji narrow his eye.
“What is wrong with you?” Enji hissed. He doubt Giran would ever betray him, he wasn’t stupid, but when Giran was nervous, Enji got nervous.
“A rumor is floating around the streets… the heroes are going to make a raid.” Giran told him. Enji snorted and relaxed, waving hand to a few workers who put the drugs in a van to take to his club.
“They wouldn’t dare. I’m sure they find us annoying, but we do half of their job. Keeping the underground in check while they deal with small fries and keep the public just dependent on them.” Enji said. Not only that but despite Touya being a hero, his loyalty was to his family. Touya would have warned him about any raid. He knew this but he wouldn’t tell Giran this.
“I heard it from a very reliable source…” Giran said “Just be cautious… I'd hate for my best customer to end up in Tartarus.” Giran got in his car and drove away. Enji just looked at Tenko and got in his car, heading towards his club. He knew it was early in the morning but he still hit the call button.
Touya snorted and spit some feathers out of his mouth, smacking hand down on his night stand until he found his ringing phone. He finally swiped it up and hit answer.
“Old man… I’m sure you remember I work late shifts…” Touya mumbled, pushing Hawks’ wing off him and making the bird roll over so he could sit up.
“Good morning to you too. I’m just calling because there is a buzz in the streets. A raid happening on some unknown location?” Enji was never one to beat around the bush with his kids. Touya’s eye brows furrowed and he rubbed his eyes.
“A raid? I can ask around but I haven’t heard of anything. Not that I’d tell you! Since I’m supposed to be a hero and you are a villain!” Touya snapped. Enji chuckled, both of them knowing Touya would absolutely warn Enji if he knew anything, especially if it hurt his family.
After being a hero for six years Touya could see Enji and All Smite were necessary evils. Heroes couldn’t be everywhere. And they kept the worst of the worst crimes out of Japan so that the heroes could focus more on saving people from accidents and other crimes.
“Of course Touya. Sorry I woke you. I love you.”
“… I love you too dad. I'll see you Sunday for dinner.” Touya hung up and sighed, curling up against Hawks’ back as much as he could.
“What was that about?” Hawks mumbled sleepily. Touya just shut his eyes, ready to go back to sleep.
“Some of dad’s workers are spooked. Claim there is going to be a raid of some sort. Which we’d absolutely know about if there was one.” Touya yawned and just nuzzled closer to his bird. Hawks opened his eyes and didn’t turn as he looked at the opposite wall with guilt filled eyes.
“Of course we’d know about it…” Hawks mumbled and rubbed Touya’s arm. Touya just let out a hum and fell asleep, leaving Hawks with his racing thoughts.
