Work Text:
- Peter has started university at NYU. The media hype has died down a little but there’s still the odd journalist following him on campus, trying to catch a scoop of him partying hard or cheating on the boys. Jokes on them though as every weekend he spends with Tony, Bucky, and Winter and during the week he’s busy studying or doing his Spidey duties.
- Things have settled down at the Tower mostly.
- Clint won’t stay there anymore, as he doesn’t accept their relationship, stating that as he has kids only slightly younger than Peter, he just doesn’t feel like it’s appropriate. He comes on the odd mission when needed but otherwise, he’s rarely around.
- The friendship between Steve and Bucky has been steadily mending. They’re not as close as they once were and won’t ever be, but they have regular hang-out sessions. During these, Bucky educates Steve about different Pride concepts and terms, helping him to understand and accept different sexualities.
- Eddie and Venom started dating Flash. Flash attends MIT and so Eddie and Venom spend quite a lot of time travelling over to see him on the weekends. During the week, Venom especially spends a lot of time sulking as he misses their ‘human hot-pocket’. Winter tries his best to keep him occupied but there’s a general sigh of relief when they leave and there’s not a nine-foot-tall moping ball of goo skulking in the shadows, sighing dramatically and reciting terrible poetry.
- Bruce and Thor visit the Tower often but spend most of their time in northern Europe, helping the Asgardian refugees get settled into their new home on Earth. Thor brought Loki to a team dinner six months ago as a ‘soft re-introduction’ and no one was killed so he took that as everyone accepting his brother with open arms and now drags Loki along to every gathering they have. Not at all surprisingly, Loki and Winter have become fast friends.
- Tony has given up the reins of being the liaison to the Accords Council and Sam has taken over from him.
- The Accords Council were fully briefed on the Bucky/Winter situation and requested that Winter sign the Accords as well. He was happy to do so and both he and Venom signed on the same day. They both insisted on a party afterwards with lots of cake (chocolate of course). Tony surprised the both of them by having Lizzy and Ted come along and Lizzy made the two boys a cake almost as big as herself. They ate over half of it between the two of them and only grudgingly allowed the others to have a piece.
- Peter posted a photo of the party to his social media showing Lizzy being hugged by Venom and Winter and it went viral. Shortly afterwards fan pages sprung up for Lizzy, calling her Badass Grandma.
- Ted had a shirt made up for her.
- Then he had to have more made up because everyone wanted one.
- When Lizzy and Ted returned home, she surprised Venom and Winter with another cake, but just for the two of them. It was just as big as the first.
- Spring break arrives and Peter heads back to the Tower, excited to be able to spend time with his partners.
- Tony has been spending a lot of time lately holed up in his lab and after a romantic evening together, he announces that he has several surprises for them.
- First of all, he has managed to stabilise Extremis. He isn’t overly interested in super strength or getting powers from it, only the health benefits. He is now much harder to injure and is healthier overall. The best part is that his life expectancy is now much longer and he’s looking forward to spending many, many twilight years with Peter, Bucky, and Winter.
- Secondly, he made some adjustments to the tri-rings that he’d given the boys on their anniversary. There are now four rings. The same three as before - gold to represent the gold alloy of the Iron Man Mark III, rose gold for the red of Peter’s suit, and vibranium as a nod to Bucky’s arm - but now there is a fourth one made of blue tungsten in homage to Winter. Tony tells them, “You’re separate people and therefore need separate rings.”
- Thirdly, he has a massive surprise for Bucky and Winter. Using a combination of Helen Cho’s cradle, nanotech, as well as B.A.R.F tech (Peter - “God, Tony, you really have to work on that acronym.”) Tony creates a body for Winter. As he doesn’t have access to an infinity stone, the body is only temporary but it allows the four of them to be together for short periods of time.
- The body is… fully functional, allowing Winter to experience pleasure, pain, touch, smell, you name it. It doesn’t however produce bodily fluids so although he can orgasm, it means he doesn’t produce semen. Bucky loves this as it means he can blow Winter to completion but doesn’t end up barfing as there’s no come in his mouth.
- Peter and Tony are sad about this fact as they love a nice salty load on their tongues.
- Winter is just happy that he can be physically present with the other three.
- They spend the majority of Spring Break in the bedroom, trying every single configuration, and discovering positions that don’t appear in any version of the Kama Sutra. Every now and then there is a knock at the door and they open it to find that Eddie, Venom, and Flash have left snacks and drinks outside. Flash texts Peter, “You guys gotta stay hydrated ;-)
- When Winter is unable to maintain the physical form any longer and needs a rest, he retreats back into Bucky. Both of them are secretly glad that it isn’t a permanent change because as much as they enjoy being able to spend time physically together, they’ve also grown used to being inside each other’s heads and it’s a little too unsettling to be separated for long.
- Spring break finishes and Peter returns to NYU and a day later there’s an article on a celebrity gossip site with photos of him limping around campus with a huge grin on his face with the tagline, “What exactly did Peter Parker do over Spring Break?”
- Bucky has to stop Tony from writing in to tell them exactly who Peter did over Spring Break and who did Peter.
- They live happily ever after until they are very, very old and grey.
