Chapter 1: Adam and Snake chomp down

Chapter Text

It was a completely compulsive trip. Ainosuke booked the trip for the 8 of them, without asking if they even had passports. He felt bad for the small cat boy they were always around, but he had school. Exams are important after all.

When he showed up to everyone’s residences with a bunch of plane tickets to a country they had all barely heard about, they were wondering what was up. Somehow, he had managed to convince them (most likely by saying that they wouldn’t see much of him) and hand off the tickets with reservations to the hotel.

And so, they were off to Scotland. A country that none of them knew about. At least there were plenty of castles to visit?

Ainosuke had looked at some of the tourist attractions that Scotland had to offer and was interested in the surprisingly rich history that the country had to offer. Yes, so much culture.

That was what he thought as he clicked on an article that read: ‘The best food that Scotland has to offer!’

Culture indeed.

What? It’s a common occurrence that you need to try the cuisine of whatever country you’re in. Some of the food did look very interesting as well. As another island nation, Scotland was known for its seafood and Ainosuke wanted to see if it was better here, or back in Japan.

There was: haggis (sheep liver), your typical fish and chips, the full Scottish breakfast and plenty of traditional desserts. These spots were definitely going on his itinerary.

Other than the flight being very long, even with the first class treatment, it was smooth. Tadashi was still at his side, pretending to relax. But Ainosuke was well aware that Tadashi was chomping at the bit to do something. Glancing at the list of food and restaurants he had compiled, he had an idea. If Tadashi was so desperate to do things for him, Ainosuke was sure that he wouldn’t mind being a taste tester.

It would give them both something to do at least. Tadashi gets an order, Ainosuke gets to watch him eat and hopefully put on a little bit of extra weight. Maybe the extra weight would pin him down and make him more docile, less likely to want to work so much. Some interesting thoughts were flooding into his head.

If only those thoughts were actually targeted to Tadashi and not his own fantasies.

He couldn’t wait for this plane to land. He was going to get a lot more out of this trip to Scotland than he ever would’ve expected to.

Once the plane landed, it was off to the hotel to adjust their body clocks to live their holiday to its fullest. They would only be here for a few days since that was as much time as Ainosuke could afford to take off. And don’t worry, Ainosuke was going to make sure this was a successful trip.

It was already late in Scotland, which meant the two went to bed as soon as they landed. Rather than go for any food that might have been available. The hotel they were staying at was in Edinburgh and it didn't feel like a hotel but instead a mini apartment. This would be their basecamp for the holiday since Scotland was small. You could drive almost everywhere in a few hours and spend the whole day there.

Ainosuke wasn’t sure about going to any of the islands. But if they had enough time, or if any of the restaurants he had planned to visit were there, he’d think about it.

In the hotel room there was a small kitchen area that they could use if they wanted to. But it was unnecessary for the two of them since they planned to eat out more than anything.

Their first stop in the food journey of a lifetime was the hotel restaurant. It had got serious acclaim from critics and the guest reviews spoke nothing but praise. Ainosuke was going for one reason and one reason only.

The full Scottish breakfast.

Some people may ask what’s different from full English? Well, a full English doesn’t include the Scottish delicacy of Haggis. Now, this would be a taste of the item and Ainosuke was going to make a full meal of haggis.

The breakfast at this restaurant included: haggis, sausages, tomatoes, potato scone, hash brown, black pudding, a square sausage, baked beans, mushrooms and a side of toast with three types of eggs to pick from.

Ainosuke was about to lose his mind by looking at the amount of food that a single breakfast had to offer. Japanese breakfast had a lot of food included in it as well but it was said that their breakfasts were a lot healthier.

Once the waiter came over, Ainosuke wasted no time in ordering the breakfast along with some pastries that had caught his eye on the menu. They had croissants as well as a Bakewell tart. Tadashi had said earlier that he wasn’t too hungry and ordered an eggs benedict. They also asked for a pot of tea to go with their meal.

Their menus were taken and Ainosuke waited with bated breath for the food to start arriving.

Once it did, Ainosuke dug in with little hesitation. He didn't know what to start with but the first thing that caught his attention was the haggis. It didn’t have its usual accompaniments of turnips and potato. In Scots they were called neeps and tatties.

He took a forkful of it and brought it to his lips to take the first bite of his breakfast. There was a lot more flavour than he was expecting. It was salty and you would have never guessed it was sheep liver. It was a good start for the rest of this meal.

Tadashi glanced over and saw his boss in pure bliss after taking one bite of his meal. He thought nothing of it and was happy that Ainosuke was having a good time on his holiday. Having gone through their stuff, Tadashi had already seen the list of local delicacies and restaurants that Ainosuke wanted to visit.

There weren't any questions asked though since it was a typical touristy thing to do. All Tadashi made sure to do was that they had jackets, plenty of clothes and all the documents they needed. Tadashi wasn’t someone to question a superior figure anyway, so he didn’t.

Meanwhile, Ainosuke had moved onto the vegetables on the plate that were coated in grease and oils. Any remote hint of healthiness was gone when it was cooked in fat. It did wonders for the taste though. The tomatoes and mushrooms burst with extra flavour and once you mixed it with the eggs? (Which Ainosuke asked for scrambled) There were layers and layers of flavour.

The sausages were next. With both pork sausages and a Lorne sausage, otherwise known as a square sausage. Ainosuke cut into them and then immediately burst with flavour. There was no doubt that these had to be the juiciest sausages that he had ever eaten.

The plate was massive and Ainosuke could never imagine how one was to have this for breakfast every day. He wasn’t aware that this was a luxury and only eaten once in a while as a treat. Who cares? He’s on holiday.

Once he had finished the sausages, he set his eyes on the toast and began to pile it high with leftover eggs, baked beans and the potato scone on top. Almost like a sandwich.

Tadashi caught him doing it and didn’t think it would fit into his mouth. He was more than surprised when his lips managed to close around it. When he took a bite, some of the food fell out of the other side since it was so full. Ainosuke grunted as his mouth was filled with a lot of different flavours.

The saltiness and slight tang of the bread mixing in with the flavour of the beans and enhancing the eggs also. The potato scone on top also brought a different type of texture to his makeshift sandwich.

All the meanwhile he was thinking that Scotland knew how to make their breakfasts. It had gotten to the point where he was past feelings of hunger and he was full. But he didn’t want to stop eating his meal.

By now Tadashi was also finished and waiting for Ainosuke who was finishing off the rest of his plate. He placed his fork down and wiped his hands and mouth with a napkin sitting to his left. The pastries were sitting on a plate and he was craving something sweet after having such a salty breakfast.

Finally he gave in and started with the croissant that came with some jam on the side. He was past the point of being full and was now eating for the sake of the food. Tadashi was astounded at how much he was managing to put away and he was sure that there was a bit of a bloat.

It didn’t take long for the sweets to be eaten with Ainosuke oh, so generously offering some to Tadashi.

The meal was finished after a cup of tea and that’s when Ainosuke remembered he was supposed to be giving these meals to Tadashi to try. Not for him to have.

This would be a reoccurring thought.

“Wow… that was excellent. You’ll need to try this tomorrow or another time. I think you’ll enjoy it.” Ainosuke sighed and patted his stomach. “Now, shall we go to our next spot? There’s another food that we should try.”

Tadashi nodded and signalled for the waiter to give them the bill. The waiter came over and informed him that it would go onto a tab in the room and they would pay for it at the end.

“If that’s what you would like. Where is the next spot anyway?”

Ainosuke pulled out his phone and scrolled through something quickly.

“Well, there’s an artist called Charles Rennie Mackintosh and there are a few cafes named after him that have something called afternoon tea. We’d need to go into Glasgow for it. It’s about an hour's drive from here. Or we could take the train which is about 30 minutes instead.” Ainosuke hummed as he looked at the prices. “While we’re in Glasgow we can go to another restaurant and try proper haggis.”

Tadashi nodded as the two of them left the hotel to look for a taxi, or the best way to get to the train station. “I think the car ride may be the best since you’ve eaten a lot. It would give you time to digest your food.” Tadashi suggested and walked over to the edge of the road where some were waiting already.

“That’s a good idea. You always come up with the best ideas, puppy.” Ainosuke patted his head as a taxi drove over to them. “Now… there’s one in the city centre that looks the best. The jewellery and other items look nice as well. Might take some as a souvenir.”

They told the driver the location and off they were. The drive was smooth and took about an hour which is what they expected. The driver dropped them off at the train station and the two made their way to the café.

They almost missed it but there was a sign that read ‘The Willow Tea Rooms’ and they knew that was the place. They walked up the stairs with Ainosuke struggling a little due to the amount of food he had eaten before this.

They sat in the middle of the restaurant and ordered their traditional afternoon tea with another pot of tea. There were plenty of different treats to choose from but they refrained. For now.

The wait wasn’t long and their tower of treats came out with a mix of different items. There were many types of sandwiches, scones, shortbread and they could choose a cake from the selection. Tadashi picked a caramel shortcake with Ainosuke keeping on his trend of picking Scottish items with a clootie dumpling. It looked like a fruit cake and came with custard on the side.

They were given two smaller plates to put their food on. Ainosuke picked out cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches as well as two scones with plenty of jam and cream on the side. There was also the shortbread that he had been dreaming about. This time there was a lot less food and it was being shared between 2 people. It would be gone in no time.

The sandwiches may have been small but they still had a lot of flavour to them. The bread they used was nice and soft with slightly sweet hints as well. The cucumber was fresh and the cheese blended nicely in. The sandwiches were all eaten in less than 3 bites as they were so small. There were plenty of seconds, but for now Ainosuke moved onto the scones.

He cut them in half and applied the jam and cream generously onto each side. There was no doubt in his mind that he was offending someone. That didn’t matter much to him, he was here for the food and the flavour.

He took a bite and happily welcomed the change of flavour from savoury to fully sweet. The cream managed to balance it out well. Ainosuke had a bit of a sweet tooth after all.

The first scone went down no problem and he was now preparing his second one with the same amount of jam and cream. It was about as much as the first one had which seemed to be the perfect amount for him. The indulges of the meal before were weighing on his stomach but that didn’t stop him from enjoying this.

“Make sure you’re enjoying this too, Tadashi. This is for the both of us. It’s your holiday too.” He shrugged and continued to stuff bite after bite into his mouth.

It was all starting to settle into his stomach now and he was becoming a lot fuller faster than he would’ve expected to. No matter, he was determined to finish the food on his plate. There was still the shortbread to try and it had been taunting him this entire time. It was cut in a way that made it look more like a cake slice than the normal way you would see if you looked it up.

He finished off the second scone and went right to the shortbread. He took a bite and it crumbled in his mouth. He didn’t want to hold it too hard in case it completely broke in his hand. The wait was worth it and he planned to bring a lot back home. There were plenty of other sweets to try as well.

The shortbread was easy to eat and didn’t take up much space in his stomach. Now, it was onto his cake of choice which already looked dense as hell. This would have been no problem if he hadn’t had anything to eat before. But he had. He’s had two meals at this point. This was the final boss.

The spoon went in and it almost fought back against him. This started to excite him more than anything. He took a spoonful and the taste didn’t surprise him either. It was incredibly sweet with nothing to break it up.

The fruits in the dumpling added bits of texture and once you bit into it, it burst with flavour and Ainosuke moaned. He was slow to eat the dessert and that was to his detriment. He was running out of steam after all these heavy meals.

Tadashi had, once again, finished his meals and was watching Ainosuke eat. “You don’t have to finish it all. You’ve eaten a lot today already. You’re going to throw up if you continue.”

At that point Ainosuke had eaten around a quarter of it before putting the fork down and nodding. “Once again… you’re right. I’ll try again another time.” He took a sip of the tea and then some of his water.

They sat for a while and talked to let the food go down. “The food here is interesting. It’s a common joke that the UK has no good food. It might just be England… Scotland seems to have its own culture.” Ainosuke chuckled and they started to move again.

As he said he would, they stopped by the shop and Ainosuke bought the jewellery that he had been eying up. He bought a lavender and blue brooch for himself and also the same coloured necklace for Tadashi to wear.

“A collar for my puppy.” Ainosuke chuckled and put it on for him. “It suits you. Dark colours bring out your eyes.” He hummed and stepped back from his ear after he felt Tadashi shiver under his touch. “Now, we have more shopping to do while we make our way to the other restaurant.”

The two left with their trinkets and walked around the town. They would be doing more shopping back in Edinburgh as that had the most options for clothes.

The bloat that Ainosuke had had gone down over the course of their walk but it was still pushing out against his shirt. Tadashi knew for certain it was there and he kept catching his eyes drifting down to Ainosuke’s stomach.

During their walk they had made it over to the restaurant and Ainosuke walked in to get them a table. There was a short wait while they cleared the table, but they were sitting and ready to order within 10 minutes.

Tadashi wasn’t as brave as Ainosuke to try some of the new food and was going to stay comfortable with his choices. So, he ordered scallops for his starter and then a fillet steak for his main.

Ainosuke started with a classic broth and sourdough bread again. Then he went for the haggis which he had been dying to try since he planned this trip. The one at breakfast had him more eager to stuff it in his mouth than before.

The waiter nodded and the two waited for the food to start arriving. Tadashi was still fidgeting with the necklace that Ainosuke had bought him. From their shopping trip, there were bags of clothes and other items by their feet, including various treats they’ve never seen at home.

Their starters arrived and the two started to eat. The scallops were nice and the broth that they were in added to the flavour as well as kept them warm. It came with a side of Sweetcorn Bhaji which was a surprise but a nice touch. There was a mix of spices that added a kick to a commonly plain meal.

The broth that Ainosuke had was nothing special but it was a nice starter to warm him up after having so much earlier in the day. The bread was nice when dipped into the bowl and it was a great start to the meal.

They were talking over a bottle of red wine while Ainosuke was looking for an Uber to drive them back, but he wasn't having much luck right now. Oh well, that’s something to deal with later. They’ll make it back to the hotel.

The mains were then brought out and Tadashi could’ve laughed at how big his fillet was. Thank god he hadn’t had much to eat from that day. Scotland was known for their beef and it was fairly common to see Angus beef on a menu in Japan. He picked up his knife and fork and started to cut into it. He had asked for it medium rare and there was no doubt that it was cooked perfectly. He had peppercorn sauce on the side which he spread on top of the meat and mushrooms that came with it.

Ainosuke was more than happy with the meal he had been waiting for this whole time, sitting in front of him in a highly acclaimed restaurant. This was going to make the whole holiday for him. Nothing else could ruin this moment.

He didn’t hesitate to dig his fork in and start eating. He had started by trying each part separately and then putting it all together. This was the way it should be eaten and Ainosuke couldn’t help but agree. Dinner was supposed to be the heaviest meal but it was actually the lightest he had all day.

There were only so many ways you can describe food and in Ainosuke’s mind if it tasted good, it tasted good. He could taste what worked and what didn’t. The meat was juicy and everything was cooked to perfection.

He was in such bliss that he didn’t realise he had eaten everything. It was only when he put his fork back in and heard a clang was when he noticed there was nothing left. He smiled to himself and shook his head. “That was delicious. How about you Tadashi?”

When he looked up he noticed that Tadashi was still eating and was only halfway through his steak. “Still eating?” He smirked and rested a hand on his stomach which had settled down from before. “Take your time. We’re in no rush. I’ll look at the dessert menu.”

Tadashi hummed in acknowledgement and continued to eat his steak. Ainosuke pretended to look at the menu while he was actually watching Tadashi eat. He had gotten so caught up in the food that he forgot that his intentions were to put some extra meat on Tadashi’s bones. He was doing that for himself.

Ainosuke watched him put forkful after forkful into his mouth until he finished the full plate. After he put his cutlery down, he leaned back against the chair and smiled. “Now I see why you stuffed yourself.” He chuckled and hummed. “Do we need desserts? I would much rather go on a walk with you.”

Ainosuke nodded and called for the bill. “Let’s do that then. I still can’t get a taxi.”

The two paid for the food and walked out into the street. Ainosuke was back on the app and found an Uber that would pick them up in 30 minutes. “We have 30 minutes to spare. That’s enough time to walk and then get back here in time.”

Tadashi nodded and slowly reached out to hold Ainosuke’s hand. Since there was no one around he felt comfortable to do so. Ainosuke couldn’t blame him though, since he was exactly the same. They both had to hold up a certain image for the public but in private, it was completely different.

As they were walking, there was a shop front that had caught his eye. “What do you call that again? A chip shop is it?” Ainosuke walked over to the shop and peered in through the glass.

Tadashi hummed in confusion and stumbled as he was dragged by the hand to the shop also. “Oh, fish and chips? Isn’t that supposed to be a staple? We can come back for that another time, I think we’ve eaten enough today.” Tadashi chuckled and gently tugged on Ainosuke’s hand.

The man was not going to move, however. He had clocked something that was so insane to him that he had to try. “A deep fried… mars bar? What is that? Come on puppy, we have to go in and try it.”

Tadashi sighed and stopped fighting. They walked in the doors and the smell that assaulted their noses was pretty intense. The smell of fish, salt, vinegar and the oil too. Tadashi crumpled his nose but it didn’t deter Ainosuke.

The other man walked up to the counter and started to order. It was tempting to order the entire menu but he held off and ordered some pizza, a sausage supper and then a fish supper as well. There was the option for haggis, but he had that for dinner and didn’t want to get sick of it. Then he ordered two of the mars bars under the guise of Tadashi having one as well.

Once he placed the order, he stepped back and watched as they got the food together. Even though he ordered the pizza, he didn’t expect it to have been fried as well. Oh well, that’s not a big deal.

“I can’t believe we’re sitting in a dingy shop like this… my family would lose their minds.” Ainosuke chuckled and gently squeezed Tadashi’s hand. “Imagine being disowned for eating fast food.” He mumbled into Tadashi’s ear who smiled softly and nodded.

“A disgrace to your family.”

The two laughed together when their order was called up. A quick check of the time showed that the taxi would arrive in 5 minutes which isn’t enough time to eat the food. They’d ask the driver if it was ok to eat in the taxi since some people could be a little funny. Maybe they’d offer them a slice as a way to tempt them.

The taxi arrived and took the offering while telling them to be careful and if they drop anything, to pick it up. Which they would.

On the drive back, they started with the mars bar since it was best hot and wouldn’t stay hot too long. Neither of them had had a mars bar before so they weren’t too sure what to expect when they bit into one.

It was slightly melted and almost collapsed in their mouths. The chocolate coated their mouths and the caramel was stringy and almost got onto their clothes. Ainosuke chuckled and quickly ate the rest of it. “That was… an experience.” He chuckled and wiped his mouth to get rid of the chocolate residue. "I have to have it again."

The sweetness was already making Tadashi feel sick but he managed to choke the rest down. Ainosuke was enjoying the whole experience and he leaned back against the seat. “That was surprisingly nice. I enjoyed that.”

They then moved to the sausages and the chips as well. There was plenty of vinegar and salt all over it as well as some sauce that Ainosuke picked up. Tadashi wasn’t going to have much so he settled for some chips as well as half a sausage.

Ainosuke was fixated on the food and started with the sausages. The batter was crispy and some of the oil leaked out and spilled down his chin which Ainosuke managed to catch before it dripped down onto his shirt. The shirt had seen enough of the abuse from today.

He cleared through the first sausage and looked to Tadashi for permission to have the other half. “I’m not going to eat it. You can go ahead.” He handed it up to him.

“Thank you.” Ainosuke smiled and started to eat it out of his hand before taking it and finishing the rest of it. He had succeeded in making Tadashi flustered and embarrassed. “You’re so cute when you’re all red in the face.” He wiped his hand before stroking Tadashi’s cheek.

“Be quiet and continue eating your food. I’m going to check emails.” He mumbled and quickly pulled out his work phone.

“You brought your phone out? No, we're on holiday.” Ainosuke grabbed it and went to throw it out of the window. “This is me and you.”

“Ok ok, I’ll lock it in the safe at the hotel.”

“Good.” He smiled and put this phone in his pocket before going back to eating the chips. “They know how to make chips here. I wasn’t lied to about this.”

Tadashi hummed and watched him shovel the chips into his mouth. “I’m sure they’ve honed their craft. We’re nearly back at the hotel.” Tadashi gathered up the food and snuck a chip himself.

The driver dropped them off and Ainosuke made sure that there were no crumbs or any rubbish left true to his word. They got out and headed up to the room with all their bags of goodies and the food. Ainosuke was still nibbling and had finished his first meal so he popped it in the bin outside the hotel. Another benefit of Scotland compared to Japan, there were bins everywhere.

The receptionist greeted them and then it was up to their room to finish the food.

They took the lift and Tadashi grabbed some plates for the food to go on. The deep fried pizza went down first and they gave him three slices but one looked more than enough.

“Are you actually going to finish everything? We can save it for tomorrow.”

“I won’t be as good tomorrow. I have plenty of room anyway.” He shrugged and started to finish off the rest of the chips in the other two meals. “Don’t be afraid to have some too. I did buy it for both of us, but if you’re not going to eat it… I’ll have to finish it by myself.”

“You fight a hard battle.” Tadashi chuckled and ripped a part of the fish and took a slice of pizza.

“I call it time to bond.” Ainosuke finished off his pile of chips and moved onto one of the slices of pizza. He crunched into the pizza and pulled back to see the cheese pull. There was a flood of cheese, sauce and oil into his mouth.

Tadashi was having a similar experience to Ainosuke and he groaned and took bite after bite. It was all settling in his stomach heavily and he was beginning to look like Ainosuke earlier that day. “I don’t think I can finish this…” He groaned and rubbed his stomach.

“Finish the slice and I’ll eat the rest.” Ainosuke compromised and finished off his first slice. “Or you can have the fish.” He pushed it over to him. Their hands were covered in grease and there weren’t enough paper towels to deal with it all.

“Alright…” He ate another couple bites of the slice before finishing the rest of the fish a lot easier than the pizza. “I’ll start cleaning up.”

Ainosuke nodded and finished off the rest of Tadashi’s slice that didn’t have much left. The last slice was looking at him and he took a deep breath before picking it up and taking the first bite.

He groaned and settled a hand on his bulging stomach that was, once again, pushing against his shirt buttons. He reached down to start unbuttoning them which gave him some more breathing room and space to eat.

Tadashi heaved himself out of his seat and got to changing into his comfier clothes. He held onto the bottom of his stomach and waddled back over to the table like a pregnant woman. Compared to Ainosuke, he hadn’t eaten that much but it was showing on him a lot more than others.

“I don’t get… how you can eat this much.” He wheezed gently and continued to rub his stomach to soothe it. “You’re insatiable.”

“I know.” Ainosuke said with a mouthful of food that he was still chewing. All the chips were finished, the batter and he was halfway through the last slice. He was chewing at a slower and lazier pace.

Tadashi didn’t know what was happening to him, but over the course of the day he had watched morsel after morsel, bite after bite, cross Ainosuke’s lips. It shouldn't have been attractive to him. Many would be turned off by this level of gluttony.

Ainosuke lips and hands were glistening with grease while he shoved the last few bites into his mouth. Reaching down and picking up parts of batter that had fallen off the pizza. He was leaving nothing behind.

Tadashi was so aroused.

Ainosuke finished the slice and licked off his fingers. “There. Finished it all.” He looked over at Tadashi with a lazy smirk. “Are you impressed?”

“Yeah, very impressed.” Tadashi smiled and looked down at the bulge that was Ainosuke’s stomach. “That looks uncomfortable.”

“Yeah… I’m as tight as a drum.” Ainosuke started to pull off his clothes just as the buttons were about to break. “I think we could both do with some belly rubs in bed.” Ainosuke reached out and Tadashi helped him up.

The two waddled over to the bedroom and Tadashi helped Ainosuke get into his bed clothes. “Is that better?”

“Much better.” He kissed him and settled down onto the bed. “I need to brush my teeth but I’m falling asleep. Is this what a food coma is?” Ainosuke sighed and curled up in bed. “It’s so soft…”

Tadashi settled in next to him and the bed dipped to one side. “I think that’s what’s happening. Go to sleep. You’ll digest your food easier.” Tadashi reached out and started to rub Ainosuke's stomach as he had asked.

Ainosuke’s eyes started to slip closed, and with the comforting feeling of Tadashi rubbing his stomach, he fell asleep quickly.

“You’re so attractive to me…” Tadashi chuckled and lay next to Ainosuke. What he didn't consider was the fact that their stomachs pushed into each other a little. A weird feeling but it wasn’t painful.

Tadashi put his head on Ainosuke’s chest and drifted to sleep as well.

Thanks for reading whatever this is. There are 5 chapters planned but don't expect very regular updates since I've got another one in progress that's taking priority for me.

This isn't as kinky as other chapters may be, but it got out of control and is basically a love letter to Scottish food. More porn in later chapters.
