Summary
Because Musutafu, for all that it’s given him (read: a lot of things to work through), has always been home. It’s become a familiar place, a place for him to come back to and breathe in deep and think Maybe I should stay. He never thought he would think that way. But in the past few months, every time he’s come to visit, it gets harder to leave. It’s because there are new things here to ground him. There are all of his friends, sure, but there’s also the Nighteye Agency and everyone there, and even Camie who is floating her way through multiple sidekick gigs in the city. It’s a new purpose, a new chance to make a life here.
“I’m thinking about moving back here when I’m done with school, actually,” Izuku admits and he should have seen the silence coming. Yet, it still surprises him when all of his friends stop what they’re doing, sit upright, and stare at him.
