A little more than two years ago, I started my journey with a Snamione titled, Star Crossed Through Time. It grew from a small desire of wishing to see something I hadn’t yet in the pairing into a work of over 400,000 words. Through the course of writing it however I fell out of love not only with the story itself but with the pairing of Severus and Hermione and eventually even fan fiction itself. Last year I made the decision to rewrite the work in a manner befitting my developed confidence as a writer, changing the things I no longer loved and that should have never made their way into the story to begin with. That project however quickly got pushed to the back burner where it remained for nearly eleven months. Now after taking several months to go on a fan fiction fast, I not only possess a renewed love for fan fiction and Snamione, but also a rebirth in my love for the bones of this story.
That said, this is not Star Crossed. While Devil’s Angel, carries the same bones as its predecessor, this is not that fic. While technically a re-write, this new version is wholly its own story with a change in title to reflect such a thing. You can however still expect to find the all consuming, bend the world to their will, insta-love that existed between Severus and Hermione in Star Crossed, our favorite moon couple side pairing, Tippy the lovable menace of a house-elf, and sweet, haunted Theo.
To those who read the previous rendition, I hope you find Devil’s Angel to be just as lovable and filled with as much escape from the everyday as you did Star Crossed Through Time. And to new readers seeking this story out for the first time, I hope you enjoy the ride.
As a final note before we begin about Devil’s Angel, there are many more tags that apply to this story than what I have listed. These additional tags include but are not limited to, a variety of sexual kinks that for all intents and purposes will fall under the umbrella tag of “Kink Exploration,” talk of past child and spousal abuse as well as spousal rape, talk of previous miscarriage, off scene and after math of present day spousal abuse and rape (not between Severus and Hermione nor our moon couple), scenes of torture, and behavior that some readers may deem to be out of character but is wholly fitting for this alternate universe.
Again, I hope y’all enjoy the ride that was once Star Crossed Through Time and is slowly becoming Devil’s Angel.
