Looks Like We Made It

Chapter Text

Andy sent word to Robert via Maya, asking that he come back to the Bride's dressing room; she paced the small
room, wringing her hands nervously. RAP, RAP sounded on the door, then Sullivan slipped in, took a few steps into
the room and stood before her, hands in his pockets. "Just say it. Not wanting engagement or wedding rings was
my first clue - it's my fault for ignoring the signs. I didn't think that even you would waste everyone's time like this
instead of just admitting that you don't want to marry me - to be straight with someone for once in your life but typical Andy, right?
Fucking disgusting." As he turned to leave, Andy cried, "Wait...LOOK!" extending her left hand, where both rings gleam and
sparkle on her ring finger. "This is what you wanted, isn't it?"

"Why now? When I bought them you made it clear that you didn't see wearing rings as important; I took it as you didn't want
other men - GIBSON, TANNER, or the RANDOS at the bars - to know that you're 'taken'. You don't want to marry me, and you should not
have said yes if you weren't feeling it. Keep the rings, just..." he waved a hand at her in disgust before turning to leave.

Andy's fear and frustration boil over, and she yelled, "STOP RIGHT THERE, ROBERT SULLIVAN! Get back in here; it's my turn to talk!"
She took a deep shuddering breath and said, "I'm so so sorry that I made you feel as if you weren't the most important person
in my life. I have a colorful past, and as much as I wish that I didn't, I can't change that; I CAN do everything in my power to
convince you that there is NO OTHER MAN for me except for YOU. OK, I panicked a bit, but I swear that all that was was bridal
jitters. Can't you FEEL my love, Amor?" She crossed the space between them to clasp his large hands in her much smaller ones,
lacing their fingers together. She said, "Look into my eyes, Baby - can you do that and honestly say that I'm not telling the truth?"

Sullivan clears his throat and admits, "NO. No, I can't."

"Entiendsme una cosa, Robert Sullivan...tu eres el amor de mi vida y mi unico deseo es que me perdonas y no me lo niegas el
honor de ser tu esposa
." {Understand this, Robert Sullivan...you are the love of my life and my only desire is that you forgive
me and don't deny me the honor of being your wife.}

He leans close to utter "Andrea Herrera te casarias con migo ?" {Andrea Herrera, will you marry me?}

With the happiest of grins, Andy chortled, "YES YES YES AGAIN!" A ravenous kiss followed, continuing even as furious
knocking and calls of "Andy, what's going on?!" and "Mija, it's TIME!"
