"Hi Chat!" Midoriya Izuku greeted as various chatters began to spam emotes and various greetings. He quickly glanced between the camera, held up by his right hand, and his phone, which held the Twitch chat in his left. "Welcome to the stream! As we wait for the notifications to pour out, let's walk!"
Midoriya looked both ways as the street light turned red. The pedestrian symbol signaled for him to go. "It should be a quick walk. We're headed to a series of clothing stores here in downtown Musutafu, one of which I've been to on-stream before! I think it was the holiday shopping stream, where I got those pink pots for my mom?" He looked at the camera with a blinding smile. "Oh, she loved it, Chat! I can't remember if I told you guys but my mom really, really appreciated it. Thank you for dissuading me from getting the black ones - I was really lost on what to get her... What was I saying? Oh, yeah! But that store is one of the ones we're going to, so hopefully the nice cashier lady is still there. She gave me a coupon and everything!"
He glanced down at the chat.

"Ah, how was school? School was... well, it was school." Midoriya passed underneath a tunnel, causing him to pause for a moment as he waited for the camera to re-focus in the new light level. "I'll be honest, Chat, some people still aren't nice. I'm public with my quirklessness and it's... some days, it's hard." Midoriya took a deep breath and shook his head. "But we've just got to keep on trekking! Like All Might does, we smile! Even when people are being mean!"
As he walked beneath the tunnel, he glanced down to the chat again. Behind him, a rustling sound began, but he didn't think much of it as he continued on with stream.

Midoriya jumped as he felt something wet touch his shoulder.
"You'll make a perfect skin suit for me to hide in, kid," A tall being made of sludge grinned as it rose from the sewer grate Midoriya had just passed.
It took a moment of shock for Midoriya to act, quickly dropping his phone as he turned and ran. The camera was far heavier than the phone, but Midoriya needed to drop it in a better position. So, with quick thinking, he dipped and slid it onto the ground just as the sludge caught up to him. As the villain began to try and force itself into his body, Midoriya watched as the camera hit the tunnel wall and spun. When it stopped the lens was slightly left of Midoriya, but he knew he was in the corner of the screen. People could see him. They could see the villain.
"Don't worry, I'm just taking over your body!" The sludge villain happily growled as Midoriya began to try and shovel it out of his mouth. "It'll be easier for both of us if you don't fight back. It'll only hurt for a minute! You'll feel better soon!"
Fuck, how do I survive this? Midoriya thought as his movements began to slow. He couldn't breathe. Forcing a gag reflex won't do anything, and this guy's quirk has too high of a viscosity to pull him off of me enough to breathe. Am I really doomed? Is this how I die?
"Thanks for the help, you're a real hero to me, kid." The sludge villain paused. "I didn't know he was in the city. I gotta get out of here fast before he tracks me down."
Midoriya looked over to the lone camera. He knew thousands of people were watching. All they could do was watch as he slowly drowned to death.
...Kacchan...
He stared unblinking, horrified, into the camera.
...are you watching?
The sewer grate slammed against the ceiling of the tunnel.
"Have no fear, you're safe." The Number One Hero stomped his foot on the ground. "Now that I am here, that is!"
Midoriya could feel as the sludge villain turned, addressing All Might with his full attention. His body was thrown around in the air as the sludge villain threw two tendrils of sludge-arms forward, hoping to hit the Number One who expertly dodged.
"Texas... Smash!"
A dangerous force of wind suddenly hit Midoriya in the side. The sludge villain cried out as he was forced into tiny parts, but Midoriya couldn't afford the extra breath of a sound as his body was thrown by the wind, slamming into the ground twice before settling on where the right side of the camera would've been, had All Might not knocked it to face the wall with his punch. Before his eyes closed, he could faintly make out All Might's form on the other side of the tunnel.

Midoriya woke up to All Might lightly patting his cheek.
"Hey! Wake up! Hey -" He gave pause as Midoriya opened his eyes, quickly pulling away his hand. "Thought we lost you there!"
"H- Hey..." Midoriya quietly replied, pushing himself up. He winced at the soreness of his side and back - All Might's punch had really done some damage, hadn't it? That was going to leave a nasty bruise.
"Well, looks like you're moving around alright," All Might grinned as he straightened up, putting his hands on his hips. "Sorry 'bout that back there! I didn't mean to get you caught up in my justice-ing. Usually I pay more attention to keeping bystanders safe, but it turns out this city's sewer system is pretty difficult to navigate!" He laughed. "Anyway, you were a big help. Thank you!" All Might held up what used to be a bottle of soda, but was now a makeshift prison for the sludge. "I've captured the evil-doer!"
Ah. Midoriya took a moment to observe All Might, who was stretching. If this has been before I made my channel, I think I'd be a bit more starstruck. Now, though... His nose scrunched up. ...all I can pick apart are his flaws.
"Did you pick up my phone? Or my camera?" Midoriya asked as he climbed to his feet, fighting off a groan.
"Ah, yes! Here is your phone!" All Might handed over the phone, which Midoriya palmed for a second before seeing the new cracks that had settled on what he hoped was the screen protector. He pocketed it with a promise to look at it again later. "Your camera is right next to you!"
It was. He slowly reached down and grabbed it, sighing in relief when he couldn't find any visible issues.
"Welp, I've gotta get this guy to the police so they can take care of 'im." All Might turned with the same grin on his face. "Stay out of trouble. See you around!"
Midoriya blinked before stepping forward. Wait, is he really going to leave me with this injury? It's going to take forever to walk home.
Midoriya quickly reached All Might and grabbed his shoulder. "Hey, wait, isn't it hero protocol to check -" All Might soared into the air, dragging Midoriya who screamed and quickly hugged All Might's back. His muscles ached at the movement.
"Hey, hey, hey, what do you think you're doing?!" All Might yelled. He reached down to shove Midoriya off. "Let go! I love my fans, but this is too much!"
Is he dumb?! "No way! We're flying! If I let go now, I'll die!"
"...Oh! That's a good point."
Oh my God, he's dumb.
It took about another half of a minute for the two to land on a nearby rooftop, but when they did, Midoriya pushed himself away from All Might. His body hurt. "Jesus, All Might," Midoriya gasped for a breath, "You're supposed to check a civilian for injuries before you fly off. You're... You're not even supposed to fly off. Isn't it hero protocol to have injured victims either at the report or taken to nearby medics?"
"You're not hurt, though," All Might countered with a frown. "I didn't see any blood."
"There's this phenomena called internal bleeding that you should really look into."
"You seem fine to me." All Might shrugged. "Anyways, just bang on the door for a while and someone should let you in. I have to go. See you on the flip side!"
"No." Midoriya steeled himself as he straightened, looking at the retreating form of his favorite hero. "Just one question. I've earned that."
"No! I don't have any time!"
"I have to know! Is it possible to become a hero, even if I don't have a quirk?"
All Might turned.
