The dialogue between these two was fucking delightful during the first 3 acts. Maybe my John brain rot is too severe, but it really felt like they were casually flirting every other pesterlog, and seeing that coyness translated into actual physical interaction has me gnawing on the bars of my enclosure. It's the way Rose can read John like a book, easing his insecurity with a bit of wit and then continuing on as if grinding on his dick is the most natural thing in the world, like everything between them was building up to this. And the terrible excuse for sex and eyebrow waggles and winking oh my GOD living up to the grimdorks name
