"I'm not surpr" You hear the sound of a familiar voice coming, close behind you. You weren't surprised to see that the familiar voice belonged to Scaramouche
He usually has three or four Fatui Agents following him as his "bodyguards" but you both know damn well he's capable of defending himself. He would always complain about how, "They just get in the way." with a annoyed tone as the two of you walked around Inazuma together, despite the fact fatui agents could clearly hear the verbal degrading coming from him so they've learned to keep their distance whenever the two of you are together. You are starting to believe they must enjoy the verbal degrading by him or something if they're always following him like lost dogs...
— "Oh hey!!" I say, my eyes lit up as a smile forms on my face as I see him. I turn myself around and make my way to him. "What are we doing today?" I ask him as I stand next to him and hold his hand, excitedly as my heart flutters.
I feel him hold tightly onto my hand as he takes me somewhere, he seems somewhat more enthusiastic today. "I'm gonna show you something, just shut up and follow me, alright?" He says, his voice gentle but a bit cold but that's just how he is. I smile and follow him eagerly as he takes me deep into a forest, my eyes take in the beauty of the nature around us with each step we took. The only thing we could hear as we went deeper and deeper inside the forest was the sound of the wind blowing and our light footsteps as we continued to let ourselves get lost in the forest, hand in hand, enjoying each other's presence. (He denies it every time but he enjoys having you with him, by his side).
— "Where are we going?" I ask him, breaking the silence as the curiosity got the best of me. I hold onto his hand tighter as we stop for a moment. The wind blowing against my bare skin, leaving goosebumps as I look at the purple haired man in front of me with curiosity and eagerness.
— "We're almost there, just hang on a bit longer jeez.." He mumbled as he turns to quickly look at me with a small smile before he turns back and tugs on my hand lightly before we continue to walk deeper into the forest once more, our footsteps synchronized with each other's.
Soon, we find ourselves by a cliff side, the sky was a mix of purple and orange as thunder crashed loudly into the Inazuma sea while the sun slowly sets in the horizon. I stare in awe at the view in front of me and let go of Scaramouche's hand as I walk closer to the edge of the cliff to admire the view.
(The place im talking about here is that one place in Inazuma with that one statue of the seven with all the thunder and etc, ykwim)
— "Do you.. like it?" He asks as he stands behind me while crossing his arms, waiting for your response impatiently. This was the first time he had taken you to a place like this, he barely had the time to spend time with you so this was by far one of the most if not, the most romantic thing he's done for you. The amount of effort it took him to clear out this place and find it in the first place. He had to thank his subordinates (aka his bodyguards) for this one.. of course that's a secret he will never admit to you or anyone else. Ever.
— "It's beautiful!!" I say out in awe, admiring the view in front of me, smiling brightly as my eyes lit up while my cheeks flush red. "I never knew you were a romantic like this.." I say in a teasing tone. I look at him with a look of love and embarrassment.. "This is the first time you've taken me out to a place like this, is this our first date or what?
He crosses his arms and scoffs at you, .
You both sat down on the grass as you rest your head on his lap as he gently strokes and plays with your hair as you watch the sunset and the stars rise. You gazed into the stars as you felt yourself falling asleep in Scaramouche's lap as to which you did.
He picked you up gently and he found himself, clutching tightly onto your body as he walked closer to the cliffs edge. You held you tightly, his nails digging into your skin, almost causing your skin to bleed as his grip on you weakened as he gets closer and closer to the edge of the cliff, he then lets go of you and the drops you into the deep sea of Inazuma. He watched as your eyes open slowly open up as you fall, you looked up at him with a look of confusion, fear and love..? as you desperately tried to grab onto anything that could save you but there was nothing. You fell into the deep trenches of the Inazuma sea as he stood there, watching. A cold and empty look in his lifeless eyes.
Scaramouche inhales sharply as he snaps back into reality, a gush of wind brushes against his skin. His hallucinations, however you see it as was getting more and more realistic and intense as time passes only He sees you in his arms, fast asleep. He inhales sharply then he takes you to the small house you two stayed together in, holding you tight in his arms as he caressed your legs as he held you bridal style.
You woke up to Scaramouche, cuddled up against you as he was fast asleep. You try to get up but his arm wrapped tightly around your waist, refusing to let you go.
— "Don't leave me.." He murmurs as he moves himself closer to you, holding you tighter. You sigh and let out a small chuckle, laying back down next to him.
— "I won't, I won't, I promise" I tell him as I cup his cheeks and kiss his forehead as I move closer to him, the heat of his body against mine. I let our bodies intertwine as I relax my body next to him.
Time passes and the sun shines brightly through the bedroom window. It was already past noon when Scaramouche wakes up from his slumber. He's a surprisingly deep sleeper, despite being an insomniac. He holds you close, he rests his head on your shoulders, you could feel him smile against your neck as he proceeds to shower your neck with small kisses, it's obvious you won't be getting up anytime soon. As someone with a status of a Fatui Harbinger, he sure hates doing his job.
— "Scaramouche.. we have to get up.." you mumble, rubbing your eyes as you let out a small yawn and run your fingers through Scaramouche's violet hair. He groans in response and pulls you closer, refusing to let go.
It is going to be a *long* day.

You love Scaramouche, you really do, you've given him everything you could physically offer but sometimes you think it's not enough for him or you. .It was never going to be enough for either of you in the first place, you both are greedy people. You suddenly realized that the moment he took a step out of Inazuma.
