Work Text:
Cleo is a perfectionist.
She despises when things aren’t perfect, or symmetrical, or balanced or anything of the sort.
So when new student Frankie Stein got enrolled into Monster High, Cleo expected herself to despise them. To despise their heterochromatic eyes that weren’t symmetrical, to despise their mixed and matched style that wasn’t perfect, to despise their half shaved head that wasn’t balanced out on either side. She expected herself to despise the non-perfect Frankie Stein for the fact they weren’t totally perfect, or totally symmetrical or totally balanced.
But she didn’t despise them.
Cleo didn’t despise their heterochromatic eyes for not being symmetrical, she liked them because it made Frankie’s eyes unique.
She didn’t despise their mix matched style for not being balanced, she liked it because it made them look drop dead gorgeous.
Cleo especially didn’t despise their half shaved head for not being balanced out on either side, she thought it made them look fierce.
So Frankie wasn’t one hundred percent symmetrical or balanced or perfect.
But to Cleo, they were perfect.
Cleo thought Frankie was perfectly imperfect.
