Nerissa hummed softly as she gently rubbed Shiori’s back, the movement of her hand having lulled the archiver in her arms to sleep over an hour ago. The demon had been lounging in her room when Shiori arrived in search of her. She was caught off guard when Shiori had asked her to be her snuggle buddy, since the girl does not normally express her love through physical contact. Shiori was already making herself comfortable in Nerissa’s arms by the time the demon had recovered from her shock, seemingly to have not wanted to wait for an answer.
None of their genmates had disturbed them during the duration of their snuggle session, as their house was very quiet. Nerissa assumed that Bijou and the Abyssgard twins had decided to go cause chaos in Hololive’s office. The demon was thankful for this, as this gave her a chance to witness a rare side of Shiori. The side that the archiver prefers to keep secluded.
“Mmmm.. Rissa..”
“Yes, my dear Shiorin~?”
Silence. The demon raised an eyebrow, she had assumed the archiver had woken up, but perhaps Shiori was sleep talking? Maybe dreaming of her?
“I love you..”
Small blush formed on Nerissa’s cheeks as the demon smiled. Soft snores were heard after Shiori’s confession, but Nerissa was relishing this moment. She wanted to hear those three words come out of the archiver’s mouth more, but Nerissa would have to wait for that. The demon placed a gentle kiss on Shiori’s head.
“I love you too, Shiorin~”
