Wu paced in his room, taking deep breaths to calm down. He kept glancing at himself in the mirror. Golden eyes, pointed ears, horns, and small wings.
This started to happen only a few weeks before. Wu would get angry and he would work himself up to the point where he became this.
A humanoid dragon thing.
Wu was so caught up, trying to calm down, that when a knock was heard at the door, he nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Master Wu? Are you okay?" Zane asked softly. Wu ran to the door and barricaded it with his body.
"I'm fine. I just need to calm down." Wu said. There was talking behind the door.
"I'm sorry for the wall, Master Wu." Kai said.
"It's okay. I'm sorry for getting so mad. I'm just tired." Wu said. He felt better apologizing. He felt his eyes stop glowing and his horns fade. Wu looked back at the mirror and saw he was back to normal.
Wu opened the door and saw the Ninja.
"You look tired." Cole said. Wu nodded.
"I still have to do groceries today." Wu said.
"We can come with!" Nya said. Wu shook his head.
"Let me shop without distractions, please." Wu said, leaving his room and walking to the garage. The Ninja followed.
"We won't distract you! We promise!" Jay said. Wu sighed.
"Guys, maybe we should just let him go by himself." Cole said. The Ninja all looked at Wu, who was many steps ahead.
"He's been acting odd." Nya said.
