Always You

Summary:

Somehow, someway, Hanzo Hasashi has ended up in a timeline that wasn't his own. He soon finds out that it is a new time, created by the Liu Kang that he had known before and with that, he meets a familiar face that reminds him of home.

Notes:

I've been working on this for over a week now and I needed something to cope with Hanzo not being in the main story of MK1. SO, I devised a smutty, far angsty-er and much sadder story than I originally planned. It also turned out longer than I planned, so I broke it up into two chapters.

It's supposed to take place after the main game and so *SPOILERS* ahead, but before Kuai Liang does his stuff.

I can't get enough of these two. Please, enjoy!

Chapter 1: I

Notes:

Always You

I

Out of everything that had been thrown at him and out of everything that he had lived through, this wasn’t what Hanzo Hasashi could have ever predicted. He was standing before a man that he knew, Liu Kang, but he wasn’t as he remembered. Liu Kang was covered in beautiful, glowing dragon tattoo sleeves along his arms and his eyes glowing like Raiden’s. The Fire God was explaining to Hanzo how he had defeated Kronika and gained control of the Hourglass. The last thing Hanzo remembered was being on the beach, seeking Kharon’s aid before some sort of rift in reality dragged him away. He wasn’t sure what it was, nor could he explain it, but he was told that he had died on that beach and should not be there. He must have been saved by some powerful force that then somehow put him into the timeline he was currently in.

It was all confusing and Liu Kang explained how he could try to find Hanzo a timeline to return to, but after recent conflicts within his current one, he was unable to right away. Therefore, Hanzo was left living in a world that was brand new with old faces with new lives. Though, this world was breathtaking even with missing all he had. Where Hanzo originally was from, he had finally restored his Shirai Ryu again and wished to return, yet he had learned through the long, grueling years to not dwell on fear of what’s lost. He was making himself as comfortable as he could in Liu Kang’s world for the time being. The Fire God was generous too and gave him a place to live amongst some people looking to start anew. A big house with its own training grounds and enough space for personal privacy. Near immediately, Hanzo realized exactly why Liu put him there.

As Hanzo was settling into his new home, he had just sorted out clothes and supplies he was given on a table within his room. He was still dressed in his full gear; yellow, black and red, hood up and mask on when a knock sounded.

“Enter,” Hanzo allowed the guests to come in and when he looked towards the entrance, he saw Liu Kang walk in with two others behind him.

One man had short grey hair with a grey ninja outfit and no mask. It had been a very long time since Hanzo had seen him, but there was no doubt that he was the Lin Kuei, Smoke. Tomas, he remembered his name to be. The other man made Hanzo hesitate. At first, he thought it was him . To be fair, the man had dark hair just like him, pulled into a tight bun, like how he always wore. Yellow, black and red clothes and a literal scorpion tattooed on his arm. Hanzo could tell without a doubt that man was Scorpion in this timeline, but the scar down his right eye and his exposed face …. It was-

“Kuai Liang,” Hanzo muttered out loud without even realizing it.

Kuai was also taken aback by the familiarity in his tone, but Liu Kang had explained to them that Scorpion from another timeline was there and that he was an extremely skilled fighter. That this Scorpion could help both Kuai Liang and Tomas Vrbada with becoming stronger now that they had made themselves enemies of Bi Han and the Lin Kuei.

It was odd to see… himself… but he was still honored to meet another ally. Liu had promised him and Smoke that this Scorpion could be trusted; that he was a good man. If he had a heart much like Kuai, then he believed every word of it.

Kuai Liang put his hands together and bowed respectfully; Smoke followed suit. When Kuai looked back up, he spoke up seriously, “It is a pleasure to meet you. My brother, Tomas, and I cannot wait to train with you. To learn.”

At his words, Hanzo’s brown eyes flicked over to the Fire God and Liu smiled apologetically.

“I had told them,” Liu explained now, “that you would help them get stronger while you are here. I hope you don’t mind.”

If Hanzo could have some semblance of a clan, if just to ease the pain of being away from his own, then he didn’t mind at all. He shook his head before responding, “No, I don’t mind. Thank you.”

He then looked at Tomas- he was young; eager. Hanzo gave him a short nod of his head before he then looked over at Kuai. Kuai Liang was much younger than the Kuai he knew in his own timeline, but he was still him without a doubt. He looked troubled over something that he must be dealing with in his head, but his eyes betrayed just how eager he was as well. He gave away how much he yearned to prove. To prove how strong he was. How he was good enough at whatever internal battles ate at him. The scar over his eye wasn’t that old. Hanzo could only assume that he had some enemies that he needed to be ready for. If only he knew how perfect he already was….

When it came to Kuai Liang, Hanzo’s heart couldn’t help but flutter. It felt impossible to separate the two Kuai’s he now knew. This younger Kuai could be completely different from the one that was a dear friend to him now, but the way his jaw tensed, eyes burned with a hotheadedness that even the cryomancer had in his youth, Hanzo felt himself melting over the nostalgia. Hanzo would help him.

Hanzo was smiling under his mask and spoke up kindly, “In the morning, we can begin.”

They were in a small courtyard, made up for smaller training sessions that were private; on the outskirts away from the academy that Kung Lao and Raiden would train at. Smoke was fighting Scorpion at first and as much as Kuai knew how capable his younger brother was, he didn’t stand a chance and it was utterly blatant. He feared that neither of them did.

Scorpion was testing them to see just how far their skills were and when it came to training, he had become very serious. He ordered Tomas to attack him as if he were actually trying to cause him harm; not to hold back. Tomas even began tapping into what powers he had and Scorpion stubbed him at every attempt at a strike. Scorpion wasn’t being unkind. He was being fair. He was letting the two other men know just what skills may be out there and they needed to get better. Tomas hit the ground again before Scorpion finally called it.

Hanzo looked over at Kuai and motioned for him to approach. As Kuai did, he reached down to help Tomas up, giving him a reassuring pat on his shoulder before he took his place. He got in his stance across from his opponent. Scorpion was still wearing his mask and full gear and even with his mostly covered face, Kuai could see his brown eyes. They were looking at him with something that extended beyond respectful acquaintance and eager training. They softened once Kuai was standing before him and shone with an intensity that suddenly made Kuai feel locked in place. His mouth felt dry all of a sudden and a small chill ran down his spine when those eyes never left him. The only thing that made him flush with a wave of heat to melt the ice from his bones was how Scorpion’s eyes then creased with the smile that was hidden away behind the mask.

“Well?” Hanzo questioned, making Kuai noticeably flinch. A red blush filled the younger man’s cheeks with embarrassment. “Are you ready, Kuai Liang?”

Kuai suppressed a shudder at the way the older man said his name and he clenched his hands tight, took a deep breath before he then ran at Scorpion. Maybe it was due to how he took a while to act, or how this other version of him sounded as if he were teasing him, but Kuai couldn’t allow himself to behave how he did. He needed to be serious and after watching how Smoke didn’t stand a chance, he couldn’t let this visitor from another timeline think them so easily defeated.

Their sparring began and much like with Tomas, Scorpion stopped every attack that Kuai attempted to land. Every attack was patiently baited, just to have a reversal strike put on him. A hit to the stomach, then ribs until finally a sweep kick had him on the ground- Kuai forced himself back to his feet immediately.

There was no doubt that this older man knew everything he was going to do. Kuai figured as much, since Scorpion was a more experienced version of him but the frustration couldn’t help but come. He tried to switch up his tactics, attack a different way or feign a strike just to do another but Scorpion seemed like he was always several steps ahead of him.

Kuai managed a kick to Scorpion’s legs finally at one point but failed to knock him off balance, or phase him in any manner, before he made a reach for Scorpion’s coiled chain kunai on his hip. Kuai used a rope dart, but the chain would work too. With deft hands, he freed the weapon from Scorpion’s hip, took a distant step back before he threw the kunai out at his opponent. He aimed for his shoulder and his attack actually seemed to catch Scorpion off guard.

Scorpion turned himself in time but not fast enough. The kunai split through his clothes and armor, slicing his skin, though not badly. It was the first somewhat strike on the older man. Before Kuai could register his accomplishment, Scorpion caught the chain, yanking Kuai forward towards him.

Kuai wasn’t ready for the strength behind his opponent and he released the chain to not be pulled the entire way. Yet, it didn’t matter when Scorpion moved at an incredible speed. Scorpion swung the chain around to get the kunai back to him and threw it back at Kuai in a blink. Scorpion worked the chain, however, to make the blade not pierce the younger man. Instead, he made the chain hit Kuai’s body and with the speed behind the attack, the momentum of the chain and weight of the kunai, it wrapped around his body, coiling like a snake. Kuai’s arms became locked to himself as the chain bound him and with a final, hard tug from Scorpion, his body became pulled and airborne.

Kuai spun quickly until the chain became pulled away from him. He couldn’t catch himself and hit the ground hard. Kuai was panting; staring at the sky above him when he was able to recover. He felt the heat of embarrassment and frustration pulse through him at how easily he was felled. He was actually trying his best but it didn’t matter. At that rate, Bi Han would laugh at him for being so weak. And, well, shit, he did feel weak. He would need to try harder but he needed to be ready right then . Bi Han or another threat could come any day and if someone like Scorpion could just show up out of nowhere and humble him that easily, then there was no way he was ready to defend anything .

Scorpion coiled the chain back to his hip. With no words having to be said, their sparring was over.

Tomas approached cautiously, knowing his brother to be upset. He looked at Scorpion, though, and commented, “I didn’t think otherwise, but you truly are strong, Kuai Liang. I suppose you must have fought us plenty of times before and, well, knowing yourself is one thing.” He then knelt by his adoptive brother and helped him sit up.

Scorpion furrowed his brows in confusion when he realized that Smoke was addressing him. When both of their eyes were on him, he questioned, “What did you call me?”

Tomas looked at the younger Kuai briefly before looking at the older man, “Kuai- oh, I’m sorry. Would you rather be addressed as Scorpion?”

“You,” Scorpion was starting to understand, “think I was able to fell you two- fell Kuai Liang - because I am him?”

“We’re not,” Kuai wasn’t exactly in the best mood and his voice betrayed that much, but he wasn’t trying to argue or be a smartass, “doubting your abilities, nor downplaying your strength. But if we are the same, then it makes sense for you to know everything I would do.”

Scorpion was silent for a moment before everything then clicked and he couldn’t help but laugh. It was a charming, deep rumble from his throat that made the two younger men look at him questioningly. The older man then asked, “Did Liu Kang not tell you?”

When both younger men shook their heads hesitantly, Scorpion approached them and offered his hand to Kuai for him to stand. After a long pause, Kuai eventually took his hand and he and Smoke both stood.

Kuai watched as Scorpion pushed his hood off, showing dark hair that was in a tighter, neater bun than his own and a short, well-kept beard. The older man then reached up and pulled his golden mask off, revealing to them a face that definitely wasn’t Kuai’s. He was definitely older too but the smile on his lips made him seem so much more youthful. He was extremely attractive; so much so that Kuai’s face immediately flushed hot over the realization of those thoughts that crossed his mind. They were the same height and so hiding his face would have been much harder but it didn’t matter when those pretty brown eyes locked to his. That same softness and familiarity returned to Scorpion and Kuai’s legs suddenly felt weak. He was being wracked with unfamiliar emotions and his mouth, yet again, felt dry. He couldn’t find words to break the silence, nor could he will his muscles to move just to look away.

“We may both be Scorpion,” the older man began kindly, “but I am not Kuai Liang. My name is Hanzo Hasashi.”

Tomas was the one to make a noise of acknowledgment. He was oblivious to how dumbfounded Kuai had become and the grey ninja asked, “Then, what would you prefer we call you?”

Hanzo looked at Tomas and answered, “Hanzo is fine.”

“Very well,” Tomas said. He then put his hands together and bowed with respect as he had before, “I look forward to continuing training with you, Hanzo.”

“Likewise,” Hanzo bowed his head back kindly. He then spoke on something else, “It is close to noon. We will break for now. Continue this tonight and be back again in the morning.”

“Absolutely,” Tomas agreed.

“Yes,” Kuai spoke up finally and much lower than he meant to. A shiver hit his spine again when he then muttered out the rest of what he wanted to say, “Hanzo Hasashi….”

They continued as such and on a scheduled rotation. For weeks, they would train together in the morning, Hanzo would give his critiques to them and each night, they would swap who would train with him then. Kuai and Tomas noticed visible improvements with their own fighting skills but they had yet to best Hanzo. Tomas stayed positive over it all. He seemed thrilled and excited to just get better but Kuai was faring far differently.

Yes, improving was important and Kuai couldn’t deny how that did make him feel better. Though, he still couldn’t win. When they would spar alone, Hanzo moved with fluid grace, fast strikes and he would stop him as if he knew everything Kuai wanted to do before he could even think of it. How could he even stand up to Bi Han when he’d be forced to if he couldn’t defeat who was in front of him? He was failing. He would fail everyone. He would fail Tomas; he’d fail himself. It made him feel nothing but rage and he felt himself growing hotter the longer he and Hanzo fought. Hanzo was nothing but patient with him, though those… beautiful eyes on him made him feel so small. It was as if Hanzo could see what just a mere look from him was doing to the younger man.

The more his losses piled on, the more Hanzo was at the front of his mind. Kuai found himself thinking of little else. The nights that were just Hanzo and Tomas training left Kuai always feeling like a part of him was removed; absent until it could be placed back within him when he’d have his time alone with Hanzo. But the problem there was that Hanzo infuriated him at this point. His all-knowing gaze, gentle touches when they weren’t fighting, and calm voice even amidst the kombat was making Kuai spiral wildly in his mind. To top it off, Hanzo would dress more openly with his hood and mask off and less armor as if everything was just simply casual. It was after another kick that sent him flying back did Kuai lose control.

Kuai clenched his hands and summoned flames. It was meant to be brief; not enough to cause serious damage but enough to send a warning- a message of frustration. Fire swarmed around Hanzo, dancing up his legs and reaching past his stomach. What Kuai did not expect was how Hanzo reacted by embracing the flames.

Suddenly, Hanzo conjured his own flames and basked in them. His entire body ignited and Kuai’s eyes widened. He dropped his magic as Hanzo relished the fire. His skin became translucent and Kuai saw his entire skeletal frame through his flesh and clothes. Hanzo didn’t look human anymore and Kuai Liang nearly stumbled in his step backwards. The flame specter then flashed towards him in a bright blink, being right before the younger man and he inhaled sharply. In a beat, Kuai was knocked to the ground, wrists held and pinned above him to each side as Hanzo was over him, keeping him down.

Even with learning fire, the heat from Hanzo was too much and Kuai had broken into a sweat. He was breathing hard, eyes still wide as he stared at the fire demon over him. The heat didn’t die down but his skin was slowly returning to normal.

When Hanzo’s true appearance gradually became what it was, his voice was calm and patient as it always was, “You’re letting your frustrations get the better of you, Kuai Liang. You’re being reckless. Find your focus and then strike. I know you can.”

Kuai tensed his arms, feeling the heavy weight of Hanzo’s hands still pinning him down by his wrists and the redness to his face and neck was returning. His heart was in this throat; the thrill of being under Hanzo in such a way was sending an unwanted shock to the younger man. A realization that he instantly began to deny. The way that his pants felt too tight was wrong. The way that Hanzo was over him felt so right .

It’s just the adrenaline… stop these thoughts!  The younger man began to pant and he squirmed lightly. Those eyes, yet again, wouldn’t leave his and he thought that he would catch on fire now. His voice was weak and cracked and he hated it when he spoke up poorly, “Y-you speak… speak like you kn-know….”

Hanzo smiled and didn’t miss how Kuai nearly bit his lip from it, though he didn’t draw attention to that detail. Instead, the older man spoke much lower; almost smugly, “I’ve known you, Kuai Liang, in another time. You are still the same and with that, I know a lot about you….”

The younger man swallowed hard, holding his breath when Hanzo’s eyes now drifted to his throat. He hated himself more when he couldn’t fight his curiosity, “L-like… what…?”

Hanzo’s eyes took their time in drifting upwards to meet Kuai’s just as his fingers slowly stroked the younger man’s palms. He was silent for a moment before he finally leaned away, removing his grip to no longer pin him and he rose to his feet. Standing over Kuai who had leaned up on his elbows and was still breathing heavily, the older man then ended their session, “That’s enough for today. Get cleaned up. Eat. Instead of our morning training, spend the day tomorrow with meditation practice. It’ll help your thoughts focus.”

Kuai swallowed slowly, praying that Hanzo’s eyes wouldn’t drift lower and he knew his face was reddened from the embarrassment. The older man, however, didn’t seem like he had the intention to tease anymore. He nodded. His voice was too low for his liking when he agreed obediently, “Yes, Hanzo….”

Kuai couldn’t make it to the bathroom fast enough and he was grateful that Tomas took to cooking duty today just so he didn’t have to run into his younger brother. He was embarrassed and ashamed. He felt so disgusting, even as the cold water sent shocking jolts through his body from how icy the temperature was. He was trying to distract himself from the uncomfortable strain he was dealing with. He ran soapy fingers through his long hair, clenching his eyes tightly closed and he scrubbed at his scalp aggressively. As his eyes were shut, the blackness behind his lids couldn’t bless him. Instead, he could still see Hanzo over him. He could still feel the heat of his body enveloping him. His lips parted with a defeated gasp when the ice cold water couldn’t cool down how hot his body was growing.

Kuai growled lowly in frustration and bowed his head under the water to wash the shampoo from his hair. As the suds ran down his body, he still kept his eyes closed as his hands slowly slid across his abdomen. He had gotten more soap to scrub his skin and he could scream at how he could feel his fingers trembling. He was already loathing the action, but his hands roamed lower and lower until they reached his crotch. He was painfully hard and he felt that he should be punished for having such an immature reaction to training .

He began to wash himself, but the stroking of his hand was making him shiver. His mind was rapidly flipping between wants and needs. He needed to wash up, eat and get to sleep like a trained Lin Kuei warrior should. Former or not.

He needed to harden his emotions. Focus on becoming stronger. Focus on never failing. Focus on survival .

He needed to be better.

His basic human needs told him to relieve himself. His muscles alone were wound so tight that he could use the excuse to relax. His wants began to tell him to just give in. It wouldn’t hurt. He could be quick. He would feel better.

Kuai finally opened his eyes and looked down at himself. He was still hard; his hand already holding himself at the base. He moved his fist up slowly, sucking in a short breath despite the disgust rising in his throat. He’d hate himself more later. For now, he needed to rid himself of this distraction.

Kuai stifled a moan from escaping as he wasted no time in quickly jerking himself off. His other hand pressed against the tile wall and he closed his eyes again. He kept his mind blank. He only tried to focus on the physical feeling of his hand working. The simple lust being taken from him. Masturbation wasn’t unfamiliar to him, though he didn’t do it much at all in his life. It was never an issue before but it was an easy task to take care of.

His hand felt good. The cold water on his hot body felt good. The pressure being worked out of him felt good. The way his body was pinned before felt good. The way his wrists were held down, the way the sweat coated his body; the way Hanzo’s hair had started to fall loose from his bun. The way that older man looked at him as if he could show him exactly how to get himself off-

Kuai moaned pitifully and suddenly stopped jerking himself. His eyes flew open and he released himself immediately. He slapped his other hand against the tile now to keep both of them where he could see them as if he didn’t trust himself anymore. He was breathing heavily. He wanted to cry at how he nearly came just from imagining Hanzo touching him. Why the thoughts of another man made him react that way left him feeling awful. What the fuck was wrong with him? Relations with others wasn’t something that was ingrained within him in his life. In the Lin Kuei, romantic relationships were forbidden unless it was solely for the growth of the clan. When Kuai Liang was ready, he was to meet a woman, sire as many children as he could from her and train them all to be assassins and defenders of Earthrealm just like him.

Kuai jumped when he heard a knocking from outside the bathroom. Tomas’ voice sounded, letting him know that food was ready and when Kuai thanked him, he looked down at himself. He sighed with relief at how his problem finally went away, though he knew it was because of the depressive pain that twisted his heart in an unforgiving grip.

Hanzo rarely ate with Kuai and Tomas. He usually felt the need to leave them alone. What he’d do at night was retire to his room and spend the time in meditation. He would think of his home every night, wondering when he’d return. Even if he was growing rather fond of Liu’s new world in his time since being there, there were things he was missing in his old life….

He was finding certain aspects of his current arrangement quite nice but he didn’t have time to think on that before Liu Kang had abruptly shown up, summoning him elsewhere. Much like when Raiden was Lord Raiden, Hanzo couldn’t deny the churning of dread that settled in his gut when the Fire God showed up.

The two found somewhere secluded to talk and when the Fire God found a place for them to sit to overlook the home that the former Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu had been staying at, Hanzo knew it was something important. Probably something that he didn’t want to hear.

“Your timeline, Hanzo,” Liu didn’t waste any time as he overlooked the dark building; lightless due to everyone being asleep at that hour, “was the timeline I was from. So, I am the Liu Kang that you knew. Yet, as I’ve explained before, you had died, leaving your younger, specter self to lead in your stead. That means, some sort of echo in time, a parallel, must have opened up and dragged you out before that fate fully set in. Regardless of what happened, that timeline, Kronika’s timeline, is no longer.”

Hanzo was overlooking the building too, his frown deepening the longer Liu Kang carried on. He didn’t fully understand what powers came from the hourglass, nor did he know every detail of what could be done with such power, though he was able to understand what Liu was explaining.

“I rebuilt time into what you see now,” Liu said. “I… am deeply sorry, Hanzo, that something had pulled you here. … Everything you knew…,”

“Is gone,” Hanzo finished with a whisper.

“Yes,” Liu confirmed sadly.

His rebuilt Shirai Ryu clan, gone again . His Fire Garden, gone . Kuai Liang…. Hanzo suddenly felt a sharp, twisting pain in his chest that stung at his eyes. His eyes drifted towards the dark sky that was a deep blue from the moonlight. Blue like his Kuai Liang. After everything he and Kuai had gone through…, they made it out. They survived and finally, finally began to….

Hanzo stood up; unable to speak from how tight his throat was.

“Hanzo,” Liu Kang now looked over at him, speaking somberly and apologetically. “I can find you a similar timeline to go to, if you wish, though it may take time. But you are free to live here, if that is your choice. There is room here for you. This can be your new home. This is what I built from the world you knew if that would help you decide. This timeline doesn’t have to be a stranger to you.”

Hanzo gave a short nod and Liu Kang stood up now.

“It will be your choice, my friend,” Liu spoke kindly. He then approached Hanzo and placed his hand on his shoulder, making the Shirai Ryu look at him. When he did, the Fire God smiled sympathetically, “It is nice to see familiar faces. I insist that you stay here; settle in. I will give you time to think.”

Hanzo nodded again, meeting the other man’s eyes. He swallowed shortly before finding his voice, “Thank you, Liu Kang.”

With another apologetic smile, Liu Kang patted Hanzo’s shoulder before he left the man alone after exiting in a portal of fire. Hanzo released a shuddered breath once he was alone. The tightness in his chest hadn’t eased at all and he ended up staring at the moon again. He would need time to think….

The following day, it was hard for Kuai to force himself still to meditate. Sure, meditation itself wasn’t the issue, it was over how he still wasn’t over the night before and the way his body behaved. He didn’t like the control that was as simple as keeping his emotions stable being taken from him. Especially not now that he felt like everything was weighing on him.

He felt responsible for Tomas, responsible for not being able to get through to Bi Han and now responsible over their new living situation. On top of that, he hated how his mind was too concerned over Hanzo. The fact that he was always his prioritized thoughts, Kuai couldn’t help but feel like a complete fuck-up. It twisted at his heart; he internally cringed over how he behaved the night before while being alone with Hanzo.

Kuai opened his eyes to stare at the floor ahead of him as he sat with his legs crossed. He sighed hard. He didn’t even like thinking of the word, but he was aroused . Shamefully, sinfully, he couldn’t deny how his body reacted when Hanzo was over him. The heat of his body making him feel like he would be burned alive. Like Hanzo was a flame that not even Kuai could tame. It was exhilarating; thrilling. He thought sleep would free him of those thoughts.

It didn’t.

Bi Han would surely think he was disgusting if he ever found out. If he didn’t already hate Kuai for all his failures , he for sure would then. Kuai swallowed uncomfortably over the revelation of his own emotions. Having feelings like he did, especially for another man was distasteful and embarrassing. He was making himself be distracted over something so wrong.

The door to his room then opened, forcing him to jolt where he was and he looked over quickly. Tomas entered the room with a sigh.

“Something,” Kuai began, “the matter, brother?”

Tomas shrugged, though was clearly confused, “Hanzo never showed and I haven’t been able to find him. I thought it was a test, but I’ve looked everywhere . I think he left. I mean, his room hasn’t been cleared out, but… it’s been hours now. I wouldn’t think he’d be gone this long.”

Kuai furrowed his brows and rose to his feet. He wouldn’t have any idea where Hanzo would have gone but he tried to make sense of it, “Maybe… maybe he’s getting something. Or perhaps Lord Liu Kang called for him.” When Tomas started to nod, Kuai decided to take matters into his own hands while he was the senior once again. He approached his brother and suggested, “How about in the meantime, we train? We’ve yet to fight since he’s shown up. We can show each other what we’ve learned.”

Tomas smiled, becoming excited over the idea, “Yeah, that sounds great!” They began leaving the house to enter the training grounds as Tomas explained all the new tricks he’s learned with his smoke magic and Kuai listened gladly. He would drown in the distraction. Anything to replace his forbidden thoughts.

Night had long fallen and Hanzo had yet to return. Kuai and Tomas spent the day training and the eldest was vastly impressed by how much his younger brother had improved. Hanzo really had done wonders for both of them. Kuai would thank the older man. … If he’d actually return back home, that is.

They had retired to their respective rooms and even through the walls, Kuai could tell that Tomas was in a deep sleep. Kuai was a light sleeper, always had been, due to how he had to be the one to protect his younger sibling from anything. He was dozing off, flitting from dreams and waking again from his failure to keep his mind calm. At one point, he thought of getting up to meditate but decided against it stubbornly. He couldn’t fail a simple task such as sleeping.

Yet, a noise from outside had him suddenly sitting up in bed. He listened closely to what he thought he heard. Tomas’s heavy, sleep driven breathing was steadily heard still, but there were unmistakable footsteps coming from the hallway outside his room.

Kuai was out of his bed and swiftly approached his door with silent steps. Once he was against the wall, he knelt low to focus on what he could hear and from what he could tell, the other person’s steps stopped right outside his door. He glanced across his room to his weapons on the other side but before he could think about getting them, his door slowly slid open.

The silhouette of whoever opened his door shone into his room from a dim light that was on within the hallway. Kuai noticed that their frame was swaying slowly and by the smell that entered, he could tell whoever the person was, they were drunk.

Furrowing his brows, Kuai cautiously moved from the wall just to peer out in the doorway enough to see who it was. He felt a small jump in his chest when he realized it was Hanzo. He now stood up, bringing himself into view and as soon as he was, Hanzo’s eyes immediately snapped to him.

“Hanzo?” Kuai questioned with deep concern, “What happened? Where were-”

“Kuai Liang,” Hanzo spoke up lowly with a drunken voice that was without a doubt drowning in sorrow. The sadness was so thick in his tone that Kuai nearly flinched from how hard it hit him.

Hanzo took some steps into the younger man’s room uninvited, though Kuai didn’t object. Instead, he blinked in confusion as the older man closed the distance. When he was close enough, Hanzo raised his hands and pressed them to each side of Kuai’s face.

Immediately, Kuai felt the heat from both the man’s hands and his own emotions flood through his cheeks. He nearly stumbled back but was frozen when Hanzo still shuffled closer.

“How I’ve…,” Hanzo sounded like he had been crying. His nails very lightly scratched against Kuai’s flesh and the older man nearly clenched his hands into fists from the tremble that wracked him suddenly. “I’ve… missed you…, so much, Kuai Liang ….”

“Hanzo…,” Kuai barely breathed out his name. He was so confused, so struck and so unsure of what he was supposed to do. It was inappropriate and wrong for Hanzo Hasashi, the one training him and Tomas, to be drunk and to show up as he did with no warning. However, Kuai couldn’t make himself move. He didn’t know exactly why, but his heart was breaking just witnessing the mournful state Hanzo was in. And what he was saying… he wasn’t sure what he meant.

“It’s only been…,” Kuai began lowly, “a night, Hanzo…. What’s wrong…?”

Hanzo shook his head, breathing out roughly, “No…, no it hasn’t…. I never got to tell you-” he suddenly stopped his words when his throat locked up with a painful twist. He tried to finish what he was saying but a sad choked noise could only escape.

Kuai Liang’s heart was in his throat and he raised his hands slowly, yearning to touch the older man, to comfort him, but he couldn’t make himself touch him just yet. Instead, he tried to reassure him, “You are drunk. Let me… help you back to your room, okay? You’ll feel better in the morning-”

“I’ll make things right this time,” Hanzo sounded as if he forced himself to blurt those words out. Tears betrayed him by streaming down his cheeks quickly and he now removed his hands from the younger man’s face, dropping his arms to loop them around Kuai’s thinner frame, pulling him into a desperate hug. Kuai’s breath was stolen from him when Hanzo then buried his face into his neck, clinging to him as if to make sure he was real.

“I-I,” Hanzo sobbed lightly into the crook of his neck, “am tired of losing those… th-those I care about….” He slid his arms tighter around the other man, “Not you again, Kuai Liang…. Don’t make me lose you again….”

Kuai felt the pricking behind his eyes from the pain the man so openly shared. He was staring at the wall across from him, hands still idle in the air. He slowly looked down at the man clinging onto him, realizing the Kuai Liang that Hanzo Hasashi was referring to must have been someone from his timeline. Someone that he clearly cared so deeply about….

Someone he must have lost….

“It’s okay, Hanzo…,” Kuai wasn’t even sure what he was saying. All he knew was that he was now placing his arms carefully around the older man’s back, holding him in return. “I don’t plan on leaving….”

Hanzo nodded against his neck, sighing when he could feel the pressure of the younger man’s arms holding him tighter. He then straightened himself up, still holding Kuai and lifting him up about half a foot from the floor. Kuai released a surprised gasp, questioning what he was doing but Hanzo moved them towards the bed. He dropped Kuai down before he crawled on top of him.

Kuai couldn’t will his body to move as he lay frozen. His eyes widened a touch when Hanzo leaned down over him, bringing his mouth so close that the younger man could almost taste the alcohol on his lips. Hanzo leaned close enough to chastly brush his lips against Kuai’s soft ones, making the younger man’s entire body ignite. Kuai’s hands fisted into the bed but nothing more came when Hanzo then collapsed on him. His head rested on the younger man’s shoulder; weight of his body on top of the man under him.

Kuai Liang felt lost . If Hanzo had actually tried to kiss him, then Kuai made no attempts to stop it. In fact, just the thought had him yearning for so much fucking more. He felt as if he were suffocating; his mind couldn’t piece together what had happened in the span of just a couple minutes. Hanzo showed up drunk, sad and spilling something he probably didn’t mean to and now they were in Kuai’s bed. The heavy breathing on him let him know that Hanzo had fallen asleep.

Asleep on him. Arms hugged around him.

Kuai was not going to get any sleep that night.

Notes:

My thoughts were that Hanzo took a long walk and stumbled across Madam Bo's and decided to indulge into too much drink. This poor man has gone through a lot of shit and I'm sorry to write him suffering more. ^^;

Edit: I meant to have this at the end of chapter 1, not 2.

Chapter 2: II

Chapter Text

Always You

II

Kuai didn’t know what he was doing. Why he would allow Hanzo, a man he’s known for over a month now, to sleep on him . He should push him off, be furious for the invasion of privacy but he couldn’t dare make himself do such a thing. The sun had risen in the horizon based on the slivers of light that broke through the cracks of his closed window and he knew that Tomas would be up soon. He couldn’t shame himself more by having his brother see him like that. He already shamed himself by letting this continue for the entire night.

He could blame it on the lack of sleep, for he got none , but the heavy burdens weighed on his consciousness so hard. Those burdens being how his heart stayed in his throat all night and how he knew his face was embarrassingly red from blushing. Just as he had thought before, Hanzo being over him felt right . With every ounce of self-disgust, pounds of relief would wash over him in vast waves in every breath that escaped him. He couldn’t believe himself for feeling the first real pit of dread when he finally made himself move to wake the older man up. He didn’t actually want that moment to end.

Kuai tilted his head a little to look down, shuddering when Hanzo’s soft hair met his jawline. His tired eyes fluttered closed for a moment before he forced them back open. One hand rose to his arm, resting on the older man’s bare bicep and just feeling his flesh and toned muscle made the younger man’s toes curl. He wanted to know just how strong he was. How much he could overpower him; make Kuai submit-

Kuai jolted with a groan. He could feel his arousal growing again, his cock swelling in his pants and it didn’t help that the heavy weight of the other man was directly against him. Kuai needed to make Hanzo wake. He needed to be the one to take charge of the situation. He swallowed hard before exhaling in attempts to level his mind out when he brought his hand to Hanzo’s face now.

“H-Hanzo-” Kuai winced at how he stuttered the other man’s name. Clearing his throat lightly, he gently patted the older man’s face; fingers maybe lingering just a bit too long against his facial hair.

“Hanzo,” he tried again lowly. “I need… need you to get up now.”

Hanzo stirred. His eyes stayed closed as he inhaled deeply and pressed himself closer to the man under him. He woke before opening his eyes and a sleepy smile stretched on his lips. He raised a hand and placed it over the one on his cheek

His voice was so deep and sleep filled that Kuai only blushed harder from how hot it sounded, “Mmm, ‘morning to you, too, Kuai….”

Kuai was now holding his breath when Hanzo squeezed his hand affectionately. The older man, after several moments, finally made himself lean up on his elbows. He blinked his eyes open slowly, drifting them to meet Kuai’s wide ones.

Hanzo’s smile broadened, seeing the familiar, handsome and scarred face of the man that meant more than the world to him. With his other hand, he brought it to his face; thumb sweetly stroking the scar on his cheek under his right eye. He blinked a few times. It took several, long awaited heartbeats before the smile on Hanzo’s face suddenly dropped.

Panic and fear struck the older man in an instant. It was so blatant that Kuai even flinched from it and Hanzo was off of him before he even registered it.

“K-Kuai…,” Hanzo was on his feet, taking several steps away from the bed. Kuai sat up immediately, about to get up with one leg on the floor but he remained seated on the mattress for now.

Hanzo covered his mouth with his hand, looking around the room before meeting the younger man’s face again. It took only a second for Hanzo to realize what happened the night before and what he had done. He felt utter shame and he dropped his hand from his face, bowed his head deeply and spoke up as clearly as his shaking voice could, “ Forgive my terrible and… uncalled for behavior. I am deeply ashamed for what I’ve done and I swear that it will never happen again.” He made himself look up at the younger man who looked as if he wanted to say something, but the words wouldn’t leave him and so the older man continued, “It was a moment of weakness. I could not…. I won’t allow myself to make the same mistakes. I am truly sorry and I will leave. You and Tomas have learned so much; you deserve someone better to continue to learn from.”

With that, Hanzo dismissed himself from the room and Kuai was so taken off-guard by what happened in the span of such a short time that he didn’t even quite register that the other man said he was leaving . The thought of that washed over the feeling of loss within the younger man and Kuai was standing now. He rushed towards the exit of his room, pausing once he was in the doorway. He wasn’t sure what could say, but all he knew was that he didn’t want Hanzo to leave. He glanced down the hall that led towards Tomas’ room. He wasn’t awake yet and so Kuai looked the other way, running down that path to take him towards Hanzo’s room.

When Kuai made it there, he didn’t even knock and slid the door open immediately. Hanzo was within, gathering his personal belongings such as his mask and weapons. They were set out on the bed and the older man didn’t even flinch by the unannounced barging in of another person.

“Hanzo!” Kuai quickly called. The other man still didn’t even look back and Kuai stepped into the room, sliding the door shut behind him. He watched as Hanzo grabbed the golden mask, bringing it close to his face to put it on and panic suddenly flushed through the younger man’s heart. He felt it rise to his throat and he was suddenly putting his hands together, bowing his head in a bow that was pleading for forgiveness.

Please, Hanzo ,” Kuai spilled out, “I am sorry for my lack of action. Sorry things had to come to this but please don’t leave . I will be the one to go, if you would please continue to train Tomas.”

Hanzo stopped what he was doing, dropping his mask back to the bed immediately as he looked back at Kuai quickly, though the other man didn’t notice due to his head bowed.

Kuai’s knuckles were white from how hard he was clenching his hands together and he continued with a wavering voice, “I c-couldn’t stop Bi-Han from going down the path he did. I didn’t see it coming and I should have . I am not strong enough to prepare Tomas for what dangers are out there and I can’t watch him get killed because of me !”

“Kuai-” Hanzo tried but the younger man still poured everything out.

“I am not strong enough for what I am facing. Running from my clan, becoming distracted over such trivial affairs; Hanzo, I beg you to please stay! I’m sorry I didn’t make you leave my room last night. I’m sorry that I let you stay until the morning. I’m sorry that-”

“Kuai!” Hanzo snapped firmly. Kuai stopped speaking instantly but he still remained in the position he was. It broke Hanzo’s heart. The Kuai Liang he knew would do the same thing . He’d blame himself for everything because his heart was too kind to see faults in anyone else. It made Hanzo’s throat lock up and he had to swallow to find his voice again, “Kuai Liang, stop apologizing . You’ve done nothing wrong. Nothing to be ashamed of. I promise. … You never do anything wrong.”

Kuai shook his head quickly, still unable to look up. His voice sounded on the verge of tears now as he objected, “N-no, I do, Hanzo, I do. I haven’t… I haven’t been able to stay focused since you’ve been here. … I’ve had…,” his hands clenched tighter; shoulders tensing from the shame he was admitting, “ sinful thoughts about… a-about you th-that I can’t stop! It is disgusting, wrong behavior that I am too pathetic to stop. So again, I ask that you stay, please . I need to be the one to leave-”

Hanzo had approached him and grabbed his hands, making the younger man flinch roughly and finally look up. He tried to pull his hands away but the older man held firm. Hanzo’s eyes were intense, burning and fierce, making Kuai feel so small under his gaze.

“Never,” Hanzo had a seriousness to his tone that made Kuai shiver, “speak of yourself like that again, Kuai Liang. You always put yourself down; put what’s wrong with everyone else on yourself when you are perfect . You deserve the world and I am sorry for not being able to give that to you.”

Kuai relaxed his hands, but not his heart and he started to shake his head a little, “H-Hanzo…. I am not… not the same Kuai you knew. He sounds as if he meant… a lot to you. … I am not someone that-”

Kuai jolted when Hanzo then snatched his face, gripping his hand over the younger man’s mouth to make him stop speaking. Kuai’s eyes widened as well as his face reddening when Hanzo leaned closer to him, “I told you to stop speaking low of yourself. No, technically you are not the Kuai Liang that I knew…. But in a way, you are . Some things are different, but barely anything has changed. The way you speak, how you carry yourself, the burdens you constantly wrack on yourself, the way that you plan your strikes, how you care about everyone around you.”

Hanzo couldn’t hold it back anymore as he now poured his heart out, “How you are the light of my day. How just seeing you makes all my pain disappear. How I wake up every day and can’t wait to see you . To hear you say my name. To smile in my direction. To laugh. How you were the only one to make the pain of losing my family ease away. I failed when I never had the chance to tell you this. How I never got to tell Kuai Liang how much I loved him. How I wanted to make us work; to be by his side. To be his .”

“Now, this world was reborn from everything I knew . How the Kuai Liang that I love so much is now reborn. And here you are, exactly how I know you to be, with some adopted styles, yet the spitting image. You are beautiful . Perfect . I yearn for you to be mine, but it is not right nor fair of me to expect that of you. You are young and strong and this world should be something that you get to experience without any of the pain and suffering that you have survived through. You deserve everything that I cannot give you. You are strong enough for anything, Kuai Liang.”

Hanzo now released his face slowly, revealing the speechless expression that was hidden away under his palm. With a painful choice, Hanzo gave a short bow of his head with the wide steps back he took. “I will be the one to leave. You are more than capable of training Tomas. You both are amazing. Nothing will stop you. You will see that one day. See your worth. See your beauty.”

When he turned his back to Kuai, the younger man exhaled roughly. He didn’t even realize that he was holding his breath and when he watched Hanzo grab his belongings again, after everything he just dropped on the younger man, Kuai couldn’t allow it. He rushed up to Hanzo, grabbed his arm to force him around just to then shove him against the wall. He couldn’t think anymore. Not with how haywire his emotions were. Not with how badly he just wanted Hanzo now. He grabbed the older man’s face and made the leap that he felt he needed to. He’d worry about regrets later. He pressed himself against him, kissing him roughly.

Hanzo’s eyes closed briefly and he kissed back immediately, just to quickly recover enough to push Kuai away. The younger man was still holding him and Hanzo had to ask with a quick breath, “Kuai, this isn’t the wisest decision-”

“I thought,” Kuai was tired of their back-and-forth; tired of the doubt and he huffed out, “I thought I deserved everything?”

Hanzo exhaled, “Yes, you do, but if you don’t stop, I can’t promise that I will.”

“I thought,” Kuai was growing frustrated and stubborn, “I could survive anything? That I was strong enough?”

“You are-”

“Then shut the fuck up,” Kuai growled, “and let me have this.”

Hanzo’s eyes closed again when their lips connected and he felt the bliss wash over his muscles. He wanted to laugh from the joy alone of feeling so complete with Kuai right before him and he grabbed the younger man back strongly. He wrapped his arms around him, fingers digging into his clothes and deepened their kiss. Like always, Kuai took charge just to quickly fall apart under Hanzo. The older man shoved his tongue in the other’s mouth, swiping it along the other’s tongue and relishing in the moan he swallowed because of it. He broke the kiss when Kuai grabbed one of his arms, moving it to get his hand. Once the younger man had a hold of Hanzo’s hand, he made the older man grab his crotch to feel how desperately hard he was.

Kuai bit his lip and stifled a moan when Hanzo gripped his dick through his pants firmly. With a growl and a rumbled laugh, the younger man shivered when Hanzo muttered out, “Anything for you, love,” and was backing him up across the room.

Hanzo backed Kuai against the table in his room. He grabbed the younger man’s pants and swiftly undid them to then yank everything down in one go, dropping to his knees in the same motion.

Kuai gripped the edge of the table tightly, holding his breath as he watched Hanzo admire his thick cock. His whole body felt on fire from how he was so vulgarly exposed but his brain; all thoughts , fizzled out once he felt the first swipe of a hot tongue on the underside of his dick. Kuai moaned, just to then slap his hand over his mouth to shut himself up. Hanzo didn’t waste any time before he was swiping his tongue along the head, lapping up the thick beads of precum.

Kuai had to bite his hand when he watched and felt how his cock was gradually being swallowed by the very talented man below him. Hanzo used his tongue a lot; swallowed and massaged the thick girth with his lips and throat. Very easily, he pushed himself forward, relaxing himself to allow the cock to breach into his throat, being shoved deep. Kuai feared he’d pass out. He tasted blood in his mouth from how hard he bit into his hand but he didn’t care. He was shaking; his legs trembling visibly but Hanzo held his thighs; held him against the table for stability as he bobbed his head back and forth along his dick. Each time, he’d reach the base as he deep-throated the younger man with skill. Hanzo had his eyes closed, humming with content as he vulgarly slurped and ravished the gift he was given. He was amazing; far too good at what he was doing and Kuai was going to combust.

“H-Han-zo- I c-can’t,” Kuai was whimpering and Hanzo reached up to grab his other hand, making the younger man then grip his hair. Kuai fisted his fingers through Hanzo’s hair, pulling probably too roughly but Hanzo merely moaned from it and continued to suck the other man off with vigor. Hanzo’s hands slid around to the back of Kuai’s thighs, holding him up at the base of his ass, fingers digging into his flesh deeply enough to bruise. He bobbed his head eagerly until Kuai shouted out a muffled sob.

Hanzo stilled himself, moaning blissfully when he felt Kuai’s cock throb harshly, spilling a pent-up, thick load of seed into his mouth. He swallowed when his mouth was filled, making room for more to pump into just to swallow that load too. Kuai jerked each time he felt the muscles of Hanzo’s mouth tighten and he thought his heart was going to give out.

Hanzo slowly pulled himself off of the spent cock, glancing up at the defeated younger man. Kuai was always so sensitive and his flesh was flushed with a gorgeous red. He was panting as if he couldn’t get enough air into his lungs and Hanzo rose to his feet, sliding the younger man to be seated on the table.

The older man slotted himself between the younger’s legs. One hand rested on his bare thigh as the other went to the back of his neck to hold him upright. Hanzo wanted to burn the image of the blissed out Kuai in his memory forever and he asked with a heavy voice, “Are you done, beautiful?”

Kuai couldn’t speak but he shook his head quickly. Immediately, he reached a hand forward, grabbing Hanzo’s pants to tug him closer. He then messily undid the other man’s pants, freeing his straining cock. He was sloppy with his movements; fingers shaking too much as they spread Hanzo’s precum down his dick but the older man growled in pleasure as he attempted to jerk him off.

“That’s a good boy,” Hanzo growled deeply. The praise only made Kuai shake harder and he reached for the older man’s head with his other hand, pulling him close enough to crash their lips together. The taste of his cum so strongly in the other’s mouth didn’t phase him and he chased the affection desperately. Now that he had given in, he couldn’t deny his sexuality any longer. He never felt more right about anything and he only wanted more. He wanted Hanzo; wanted to live in the high that the older man let him experience. His heart was swelling; his eyes watered behind the tightly closed lids. He was overheating and melting and could only yearn for everything Hanzo could give him. Anything was enough; he was good enough. They both were. Kuai felt joy; burdens lifting and he vowed to never go back. Being with Hanzo felt like a missing chunk within himself was being mended back together. Like this was how it was always meant to be.

Kuai Liang and Hanzo Hasashi.

Fuck, that sounded good.

“I will always be yours,” Hanzo muttered out against his lips. He yanked Kuai closer to the edge of the table by his hips, bringing their cocks together. Kuai’s had softened but that didn’t stop Hanzo from gripping it and making Kuai grip both of their lengths in one hand.

Kuai moaned out desperately. He was then being forced to jerk them both off together when Hanzo wrapped his hand around the younger man’s, guiding his movement. It was intense; too sensitive but Kuai eagerly allowed it to be.

Hanzo’s lips kissed along the corner of his mouth, along his jawline until he reached the younger man’s ears, speaking pure sin to him, “I’m going to fuck you, love. Fill you up so full; make you feel amazing. Make you feel as beautiful as you are.” He moaned out another growl when Kuai began to jerk harder and faster, “Mmm, by the gods, I can’t wait to feel how tight you are. Feel that perfect hole stretch around me.”

Pl-please, Hanzo ,” Kuai begged so lowly that it was barely heard.

Hanzo, however, heard him perfectly clear and leaned away. He made Kuai release them as he then grabbed the younger man’s shirt, pulling it off over his head before sliding his hands down his exposed thighs. Hanzo moved lower to pull Kuai’s pants fully off before he took a step back and swiftly undressed himself.

Seeing Hanzo fully exposed before him, Kuai nearly moaned out loud from the drooling sight. Both men were extremely fit; muscles toned and firm. Yet, Hanzo was thicker. His body was filled out more; not as lithe as Kuai’s was and it made the younger man squirm from the thought of being used by a man of such mass. His eyes drifted lower to fully look at Hanzo’s cock. It was impressive; thick and clearly desperate to get in him. The tip had a small bead of precum on the tip and Kuai licked his lips at the sight.

Hanzo laughed lowly at how openly Kuai was ogling him and it was flattering. He then grabbed Kuai’s arms, pulling him from the table now. He pulled the younger man with him towards the bed, pausing to remove his gear and weapons onto the floor to be out of the way. Once his bed was free, he pushed Kuai down on his stomach.

Kuai’s hands found the soft covers, tensing as if he were about to push himself up but Hanzo’s hot hands along his bare back made him still.

“Relax, love,” Hanzo cooed. He then grabbed Kuai’s hips, pulling him up to be on his knees and the younger man buried his face in the bed from embarrassment. Hanzo’s hands massaged Kuai’s beautiful, perfect ass before he spread his cheeks and dove in.

Kuai nearly yelped once he felt the older man’s molten tongue swipe against his entrance. He wasted no time in lapping, shoving his tongue past the tight muscle and swirling it all around him. This, this , made Kuai feel so exposed. So vulnerable and so weak…. Not in a degrading sense, no. Weak as in how he felt as if his muscles failed to work anymore. The side of his face was pressed hard into the mattress, drool already spilling past his lips and his eyes nearly rolled back from the daze. It felt incredible .

“So good,” Hanzo breathed out heavily. He swiped his tongue again slowly against his entrance before he pressed a thick finger to it now. He began pushing it in, making Kuai moan out messily. Hanzo smiled from how badly Kuai was blissed out of his mind. The younger man’s cock had already gotten completely hard again. “So good for me…,” the older man added.

Hanzo took his time with his finger, shoving it in deep before removing it, replacing it with his tongue for a while before he’d return with two fingers. He repeated the process, interchanging between his fingers and tongue until he was able to get four in. At that point, Kuai’s entire body was flushed red; sweat had formed on him and all Hanzo could hear was the rough, desperate pants and moans being muffled into his bedsheets.

Kuai didn’t even realize that Hanzo was done preparing him until he felt something new press against him. It seemed to jolt his senses back to life as a smooth, wet, hard, hot thickness began to push into him slowly. He tilted his head to stare ahead of him; mouth hanging open in a silent cry. His fingers ached from how hard he twisted them into the sheets under him; Hanzo’s burning hands held his hips still as he never stopped pushing in. He was steady. Careful. Patient until he pushed all the way in to the base.

“Still,” Hanzo was panting, “so tight…. So fucking perfect ….” Kuai wasn’t making any noises under him and the older man asked, “Are you alright?”

Kuai nodded quickly, gasping finally for air. He twisted his head, pressing the side of his face to the bed again as he whimpered, “ Move- m-move, please….

When Hanzo did, Kuai quickly bit the covers under him, shoving them into his mouth to use as a gag. He didn’t think he’d have the self-control to not be loud. His eyes rolled back, his throat released strangled cries when he’d feel the cock stretching him slide slowly to the entrance before firmly being shoved back in. It felt beyond what words could describe. Every deep hit made his eyes water more. Every thrust pushed harder, making his body burn so much more with overwhelming heat. Every time Hanzo’s cock forced him to accommodate to the girth, Kuai realized that he was hitting a specific spot.

Kuai realized that Hanzo knew exactly what he was doing. His pace gradually increased. His thrusting became steady, never once missing that spot that made Kuai see stars. He fucked him as if he had done that a thousand times. He held him as if he truly were his lover that entire time.

“Were you,” Hanzo had leaned over Kuai, speaking deeply against his ear; teasing, “a virgin, my dear?”

Kuai cried out a muffled moan against the covers. If his face could get any redder, it did right then. To answer Hanzo’s question to himself, yes, he was. Kuai hadn’t had the chance to experience relations yet. He never had an interest before. No one caught his eye. Not until now. It seemed, however, that he didn’t actually have to say that aloud for Hanzo to know.

“Not anymore,” Hanzo growled proudly. His pace increased even more and the tears now slid down Kuai’s face from the intensity. One of Hanzo’s hands slid around Kuai’s stomach, lowering down to his cock. The older man felt how the dick in his hand twitched from the contact, feeling on the brim of cumming again. To tease, Hanzo jerked it slowly to his hard fucking but as soon as Kuai started to get louder, more high pitched under him, he slid his hand down to Kuai’s base, squeezing hard.

“Not yet, love,” Hanzo panted. He continued to hold Kuai’s cock, restraining his orgasm as he leaned up more to continue at his angle. Hanzo took that time to embrace how intoxicating Kuai felt. His dick pounding easily in and out of the younger man; fitted perfectly within him. Kuai was stretched for just him . Hanzo could let go any second; release his seed deep within his lover’s ass but he wasn’t ready yet, not like that.

He pulled himself out completely, watching how Kuai’s stretched hole attempted to squeeze down on something but finding nothing just as the younger man keened. Hanzo kissed his mid back, silently promising to fill him again quickly. He finally released Kuai’s cock and moved the younger man over.

Kuai released the blanket from between his teeth, shivering with all the different emotions and pleasure he was feeling as he watched Hanzo then get on his back.

“I need to see you, love,” Hanzo explained briefly before he grabbed Kuai and dragged him over him. The older man spit in his hand, bringing it down to his cock to re-lube it up before he did it one more time and brought his fingers back to Kuai’s entrance.

“Think,” he asked the younger man, “you could ride me?”

Kuai didn’t think language could find him at that moment but he nodded dumbly. His hands messily clutched and scratched at Hanzo’s toned stomach while he lifted himself up on his knees to lower himself down on the awaiting cock under him.

Kuai clenched his teeth tight, throwing his head back with his closed eyes, fighting the overwhelming urge to moan out loudly the more he was sinking lower. At that angle, Hanzo felt so much bigger; filling him deeper. Hanzo’s hands stayed on his hips, guiding him carefully until he was all the way down.

Yes… ,” Hanzo hissed and let his head fall back on the bed. He held Kuai’s hips as the younger man began to ride him steadily, despite his legs shaking so much. Kuai Liang was a vision above him. Gorgeous. Perfect. Hanzo didn’t realize how long Kuai’s hair was until it was down as it was, hanging just past his shoulders and it was beautiful. The way the perfect man was looking down at him now, he wasn’t going to last that much longer.

“Look at you…,” Hanzo panted. He met Kuai every time with a firm thrust upwards. He was close; so close. “What a blessing…,” he admired, drowning in how much his praises were affecting the younger man. “ Mine .”

Kuai bit his lip roughly, moaning lowly but desperately. Hanzo was fucking up into him faster, making him see stars. He was giving out; his end was near and he cried out shakily with bated breath, “ H-Hanzo-!

With his name said from those perfect lips, Hanzo couldn’t hold back and he sputtered out, “M-mark me-! Kuai- Claim me- make me yours-!!” He choked back a strong moan, just to release a rumbled growl from his throat as he threw his head back, releasing everything he had.

Kuai felt as if hot lightning had struck his spine and being able to feel every shot of Hanzo’s seed pump into him; he was being filled completely. Even with how tight his ass was hugging the cock shoved in him, hot, slick seed slipped from his entrance and Kuai was cumming before he realized it. He couldn’t stop himself; he couldn’t hear himself, let alone realize how loud he suddenly was. He cried out in bliss, watching how his dick throbbed, shooting out ropes of white along Hanzo’s stomach and chest and he nearly collapsed over the older man.

Kuai caught himself on his elbows but leaned down to sink his teeth into the flesh of Hanzo’s neck, biting in a pathetic attempt to silence himself but it was far too late.

Y-yes, yes! ” Hanzo closed his eyes and moaned from the pain of the bite. Kuai’s mouth moved along his neck to his shoulder, biting in every spot he could until he settled on his shoulder, biting hard enough to break skin. More tears slipped from his eyes as Hanzo’s cock gave its last pump, emptying all the seed it could in him.

Perfect and mine was all Kuai could hear being muttered over and over until he couldn’t hold the weight of himself up anymore and he collapsed on the body under him. His eyes closed and he was fast asleep before Hanzo could even pull out of him.

Kuai Liang eventually woke up at one point. He saw a ceiling before he turned his head, realizing he was in a bed and realizing that the room he was in was his own. He sat up quickly, wincing at the pain in his lower body. Blinking and feeling so tired , he exhaled slowly and looked around again. He was definitely in his room, wearing clothes that he didn’t remember putting on and feeling like he had been bathed not too long ago. Confused, Kuai got out of the bed, slowly making his way to the door of his room and leaving.

He walked around the large house, hearing nothing for a while until he neared the kitchen and dining area. He reached for the door to open it but hesitated. He felt as if he were still waking up; he had that sleepy daze to him but he eventually slid the door open.

Within the kitchen, Hanzo sat at the table while Tomas was leaning against the island bar. They were each eating a meal and conversing about something before their eyes turned to Kuai.

“Kuai!” Tomas called happily. “Did you sleep good?”

Kuai blinked and looked at his brother. He opened his mouth to respond but before he did, his eyes slid towards Hanzo who was watching him too. Memories, feelings and revelations flooded him and his face blushed brightly red.

Tomas noticed the reaction and quickly moved around the island to approach Kuai. Once he was before him, the grey haired man placed his hands on his shoulders as if to calm him.

“Hey,” Tomas’ voice was low and kind. He got Kuai to look at just him and the youngest man smiled sincerely, “I’m glad to see you well. And thank you, for everything you do.” He then pulled Kuai into a firm hug, causing the other man to hesitate from the action.

“I love you, brother,” Tomas promised. His smile broadened when Kuai slowly hugged him back. After a moment, he leaned away, patted Kuai’s shoulders before dropping his hands and regarding the kitchen, “Dinner is still hot. Enjoy, and I’ll leave you two at it.” With a glance back at Hanzo, Tomas bowed his head respectfully before he slipped out of the room past his brother.

When it was just the two Scorpions, Kuai spoke up with dull horror, “He knows.”

Hanzo nodded, taking the last bite of the food that he had. He then stood and approached Kuai before he informed, “He heard.”

Just as the older man suspected, Kuai’s eyes widened and his face deepened with the redness but Hanzo was there to stop him from running away with shame. He had reached forward, catching Kuai’s wrist and tugging the man towards him. Kuai gripped Hanzo’s shirt just as the older man hugged his arms around his waist.

“To be fair,” Hanzo spoke warmly with a soft smile on his lips, “he said he’s known for a while now.”

Kuai wanted to be embarrassed over that shared detail, but the honest realization over how Tomas had already known about Kuai’s preferences and still accepted him made another pressure on him instantly dissipate. One he didn’t realize he was holding over himself. As he was in his thoughts, Hanzo nuzzled his head down in the crook of his neck and despite how good and right that felt, Kuai found himself asking something he was curious about, “You said that… you never got it to work with me- with Kuai Liang, in your life….” He didn’t miss how Hanzo had stiffened up but the younger man continued anyways, “Then how…,” he swallowed nervously, “how did you know…. Kn-know what I like…? How to… how to make me feel like that…?”

Hanzo was silent for a while. He exhaled against Kuai’s neck before he leaned away, though kept his arms around the younger man. He didn’t know the rules or whatever over explaining events from a different timeline, but Hanzo felt no need to hide anything he knew. Not when it came to how he felt about Kuai, “In my timeline… Kuai Liang and I went through… a lot . We had both been enemies of one another, been killed and resurrected and at one point, we were revenants- slaves- together. It was then that we gave in… into more carnal desires. At our worst, we were together. We used each other to make the best of the horrible outcome our lives had been and eventually, we both then became saved. It was then that we laid all our differences to rest. We became at peace with one another. Friends; true friends. We had our separate lives. We were happy but I….”

Hanzo then sighed and raised his hands to Kuai’s face, caressing him sweetly and speaking sadly, “You know the rest.”

Kuai’s hands slowly slid up to Hanzo’s throat, feeling the smooth skin there as he muttered out, “I lucked out… having someone like you care as you do….”

Hanzo laughed at that. A true, genuine smile spread on his lips and he shook his head, “No, I am the lucky one. I always had been when it came to you. And now in this timeline, everything that I am is all yours . I will stay if you wish it. Stay by your side forever, if you wish it. Anything for you, Kuai Liang. My life, my everything , is yours.”

Kuai was now the one to huff out a short smile, hugging his arms around the older man’s neck, “We are equals , Hanzo Hasashi. … And I would love nothing more than for you to stay with me, as long as you would have me too.”

Hanzo couldn’t hold back and closed the gap, kissing him strongly with pure love. He pulled back, muttering against his lips, “Always, Kuai Liang. Always, for you.”

Chapter 3: WIP:: Art Piece

Notes:

So, I'm very nervous about posting this but I also thought it was kind of cute and so, um, here it is!

I love to draw as well although most of my artistic time is completely occupied by writing (which I love), but I've been messin' around with that Tendaaf's Couple Drawing Meme and I've never actually drawn either of these boys.

Posting this as a chapter 3 to this fic because I drew MK1 Kuai Liang with MK11 Hanzo Hasashi.

This is definitely just a beginning sketch and I have NO IDEA whenever I'll actually polish it up and color it, but I still thought the sketch was neat, so....

I hope this can give some sort of enjoyment to anyone and I still love everyone who has been so kind and supportive.

Thank you!! Much, much love <33333

EDIT:::: I actually had to make myself work on it because I wasn't happy with the sketch and I used references to help polish it up just a bit. Still a rough draft, but definitely more defined. I'm sorry to delete the sketch but I'd rather this version be what's posted instead. Hope it still works and sorry for the greyscale (I'm not the best with color and this is still kind of a WIP) *exhales dramatically* I love Kuai x Hanzo lol.......
