Summary
Jensen is a dragon rider, selected and trained up to bond with a dragon and protect the island Kingdom. Jared is a servant of the Northern Outpost who harbors a years-old crush on Jensen. When Jensen and his team of dragon riders are sent to investigate a possible invasion of the Western Reaches, Jensen selects Jared to accompany them. It becomes clear that Jensen sees something in the young servant that Jared doesn’t even see in himself, not to mention the fact that Jensen harbors a crush of his own.
