Chapter 2: GvK: Home

Sun light began to shine over the land, reflecting on the ground where Kai and his father had been laying down at.

 

Kai had been laying on his father's right side, who had been laying completely on his back but had started to rise up when the sun reflected over his eyes.

 

Kai eyes had started to open as well once he heard his father yawn and shake his body.

 

His father had risen up to his feet and nudge his son to walk up as well.

 

Kai, reluctantly, has risen to his full one hundred and two foot stature, shaking his body off to help himself wake up.

 

He felt his father's large and hairy hand tussle the hair at the top of his head, he looked up to see his father lightly smiling at him.

 

He smiled back up and his father and started moving when he felt his father's hand push his head, in a motion to start walking.

 

Both Kong's trek through the land, doing their morning routines.

 

Kai at this time would make conversations with the Sker Buffaloes, besides his Dad, he trusted them more than any other animal on the island.

 

The Skullcrawlers were a different sorry though, they were responsible were wiping out all of his kind, they even killed his father's parents right before his eyes.

 

Now for Kai, he had in fact slain some crawlers in his life so far, even some that had been about half his size.

 

Thanks to his extra powers, he's able to combat them much more easier, even if he does sometimes rely on it more than his pure strength.

 

Kong and Kai had been walking through a large river, Kai saw his father scratch his ass, which made Kai cringe every time he had to see that.

 

"No. Father. I Just. No"

 

Kai had told to his father who has given him a light chuckle, Kai has grumbled annoyed at his father not listening, but he didn't care much about it.

 

They both had taken showers under different rivers, this would be an amazing part for Kai's day.

 

The feeling of water running through his fur, feels like a relaxation that you can't feel anywhere else.

 

Afterwards, Kai has decided to find his younger adoptive sister, Jia.

 

Jia was a young deaf girl who is the last of the Iwi Tribe, a tribe that had been native to the island but had all died when the storm took over.

 

His father had saved her from imminent death and she had been adopted and taken under the care of his adoptive mother, Ilene Andrews.

 

He never had a real mom since he was born through his Dad's DNA though, but he's happy he does have a mom in his life.

 

Kai watch as his father rip a tree out of the ground and clear it all of its branches and leaves.

 

Making a spear of his own.

 

He already knows what his father has planned, he's tried this multiple times already.

 

Kai looks down and sees his sister Jia, who has been looking up at the two Titans, his father also seemed to notice her.

 

She seems to be holding something up for the two to see.

 

Both lean down and see a makeshift toy of Kong, Kai smiles and signs at her.

 

" Beautiful."

 

"Thank. You.

 

Jia has signed, happy that her brother enjoyed what she had made.

 

But Kai sees his father start to get back up on his feet and look at the sky.

 

Kong throws the makeshift spear at the sun, it his perfectly but shatters the barrier designed to keep Kong contained.

 

A bio-dome had been constructed to keep them content, well Kong more so, Kai didn't mind it all, but his father wasn't one who was in favor of it.

 

Kong angrily roars in the sky, hating this false world that has been mimicking his home.

 

Kai sympathizes for his father, he had lived here for so long, and now home has been destroyed, only for it to be replicated in this dome.

 

Kai decides to transform into his Human form to communicate better with his younger sister.

 

Kai already has clothes on because everyone he transforms into his Titan form, the clothes get absorbed in.

 

Kai wore a black shirt with a black, with a light blue sweater, and black jeans, a well as white shoes.

 

"He's not happy. He's trying to get out."

 

Jia has signed to her brother, she had a sad look on her face, Kai decides to go up to her and hug her before retracing to sign back.

 

"I know. But we don't know what to do. We'll find  something. Let's go. Mom's over there."

 

Kai starts guiding Jia to their mom who has been talking to some scientist guy who has been talking to their mom.

 

" He's angry."

 

"He's not gonna get better if we keep him here."

 

"Go wait for me, kids"

 

Jia sits in a car begging them but Kai stayed to talk to his mom.

 

"What are we gonna do? Godzilla is come for us if we leave, are their other choices?" Kai ask desperate.

 

"There is but it's slim, offsite would be a death sentence" Ilene told her son and the scientist.

 

"You don't think the King and Prince can take care of themselves?" The scientist ask.

 

"There has to be another way"

Chapter 3: Leaving It Behind

Kai had been following very closely behind his Dad, he looks up and see other holes in the dome caused by his father.

 

He'd wondered what would happen once his father breaks out of here.

 

Would they be going to a new home, but that would just mean Godzilla will come after them.

 

Their species had been at war with Godzilla's species, and they were the only one's left after all of them were wiped out.

 

Kai thought back to the times before, when the island was sunny.

 

2018

 

Kai, much smaller at only, about seventy one feet tall, he wandered through the land.

 

His father had been off trying to find something for them to eat, while Kai explored the land.

 

He watches ahead of Sker Buffaloes migrate across the plains.

 

He smiled and watch the herd that was filled with dozens of the creatures.

 

But something starts to feel off, the asked Buffaloes start to panic and run off together.

 

Kai is confused until he notices something.

 

A trio of Skullcrawlers.

 

They were all relatively the same size, about fifty five feet, though smaller than Kai, but that made them very dangerous.

 

Kai watches as they manage to separate one from the rest of the pack.

 

They have the poor animal cornered and scared, the leader of the pack was ready to snap the poor creatures neck.

 

Until Kai had came in and blasted the leader with a surging yellow electric punch.

 

The other two begin to attack Kai, who has some words for them as well.

 

He grabbed one by the neck and slammed it to the other one, both of them and momentarily down until rising back up.

 

The leader charges at him and latches his teeth onto Kai's shoulder, Kai yells in pain and grabs the leader's jaw and splits it open.

 

The leader is still alive though and tries to attack him, but Kai sends a flurry of Bio-Electric waves down the leader's throat, burning its insides and killing it.

 

The other two who are remaining, angrily rush towards Kai to kill him, but Kai jumps up into the air.

 

And sends himself back down with the power of his Bio-Electricity, hits both crawlers point blank, right on their backs.

 

The other two's life fades away and Kai catches his breath from the battle he had just been in.

 

He feels heavy footsteps, footsteps he already knows, his Dad.

 

Kong comes from behind him, admiring his son's work, he grunts in a motion that tells Kai he did a good job.

 

Kong smiled at Kai and ruffled the top of his head.

 

He picks up Kai and places him on his back, behind his shoulder and walks back to their lair.

 

After they arrived back, King placed Kai back on the ground.

 

Kong had a Mire Squid that he had from a lake that's inhabited by them.

 

Kong rips off a tentacle and gives it to Kai, who devours it, hungry after his short but exhausting battle.

 

2024

 

Kai shakes his head at the memory, the first battle he had ever been in.

 

Over the years he had fought some other creatures, he remembers the flying bat thing, one of the reasons his island had been in the state is in currently outside the dome.

 

Kai goes up to his father an taps his hand, his father looks down at him with a questionable look.

 

"You. Ok. Father?"

 

Kong gets down and gets on one knee to be at eye level with his son.

 

"Yes. Little One. Just. Annoyed"

 

Kai rolled his eyes and talks back to his father.

 

"Then you're not ok. I'm going to find Jia. Ok?"

 

"Be Careful"

 

Kai nods and changes into his human form, he watches as his father walks off, probably to throw something at the dome walls again.

 

He walks through a door that leads to the outside, he's installs doused with rain and puts a house over his head.

 

After some walking, he enters the place where he also stays at with his sister and mom.

 

He walks in and sees his sister who smiles at him.

 

Kai looks on his phone and checks out a new article about Godzilla rampaging in Pensacola.

 

Recently, Godzilla has been on a campaign of destruction, he's been targeting Apex Cybernetic facilities.

 

Kai has been skeptical about this, Godzilla has really only been destroying Apex Facilities, is there something much bigger behind all of this?

 

Monarch is probably trying it solve it so he pushes it to the back of his mind.

 

He puts done his phone and sits down on his sister's bed.

 

At the same time their mom has also walked in, but she seemed to be in search for something.

 

"Ugh, where is it?" The mother said, rushing to find something but Jia has it in her hand, a book of hers, their mom notices a signs to her.

 

"Thank you"

 

Their mother sits in the bed with them, but something seems off with her though, she seems anxious, probably cause of everything that has been happening.

 

Jia also seems to noticed and say something about it.

 

"You're nervous"

 

"Yeah, you're kinda off right now"

 

Ilene tries to deny the fact that she's nervous, even though her nervous levels are definitely through the roof right now.

 

"Everything's fine"

 

Both Kai and Jia disagree to her answer.

 

"You can't lie to me, I'm not a kid anymore" Jia signed.

 

"Yeah, I mean I'm not a kid, Jia still is though"

 

Kai's comment did annoy Jia bit and make her role her eyes but Ilene chuckles at this and kisses both of their foreheads.

 

She walks out but apparently someone out there named Nathan Lind is trying to talk to her.

 

This gets Kai and Jai's attention as they both start to follow both adults and what their conversation.

 

They start talking about trying to take Kong off of the island and help him find a new home.

 

Both Jia and Kai put on raincoats and follow them, Jia understands the conversation through Kai.

 

"What are they saying" Jia asked Kai through signing.

 

"They're taking Dad off of the island"

 

"What about Godzilla?"

 

Kai shrugs and listens in on the conversation, even through the loud rain.

 

"A power source in Hollow Earth? Sounds nuts Nathan even for you" Ilene told the man.

 

"It there! We just need Kong to bring us to it"

 

"The second you take Kong out of containment Godzilla's gonna come for him" Ilene reminded him.

 

Nathan holds a door open for Kai and Jia for them to enter in as well.

 

"You said you can't keep him here forever" Nathan said.

 

"No, our meddling had already wreaked havoc on Kong's habitat, no way am I letting you drag him and my son halfway across to the world to use them as weapons" Ilene told him.

 

Kai has been quiet, not trying to say anything, but just to listen and inform Jia.

 

"No, not as weapons, as allies, to protect us, lead the way down there" Nathan told Ilene who had turned around at him, looking perplexed.

 

"What even makes you think that he'll go in, Kai might, but Kong, very low chance"

 

"You always believed that Skull Island was like Hollow Earth come to the surface right? And that's where Kong’s ancestors came from" Nathan said but gesturing with his hands.

 

Ilene had been quiet, but listening closely to what he had been saying.

 

"Through the entrance in Antarctica we can help him find a new home, and he could save ours, theirs" Nathan gestured to Jia and Kai who had been staring back and forth between the adults.

 

"That power source may be our only hope, we gotta stop Godzilla.This is our only chance, we have to take it"

 

Ilene soak in what he has said and looked up at the dome walls, seeing a spear lodged into it caused by Kong.

 

Making up her mind, she steals him the conditions she has for this mission.

 

"Okay, alright. But, when it comes to Kong, what I say goes" Ilene told him.

 

"You name the terms, thank you" Nathan told her happily as he goes kisses her cheek, she looks at him weirdly.

 

"Sorry, thank you, you won't regret this" he apologizes and shakes her hand and walks out through the barrier.

 

"Hm, I already regret this" she said under her breath.

 

"Did he really kiss you?" He asked amused seeing his mothers's annoyed face.

 

"Yes, please never bring it up" she told him but he chuckles.

 

Jia though seems a little sad about the changes to their life.

 

"This is his home, ours" Jia refers to herself, Kai, Kong and their mom.

 

"Our home, is together, you, me and Kai"

 

Ilene told Jia who still had a glum look on her face.

 

"I um, guys I should tell him right?" Kai said to his mom.

 

"Yes, but, break it down for him please"

 

Kai nods and transforms into his Titan from and walks off to find his Dad.

 

Kai walks around and soaks in the environment, everything look the same, but it will never be the same.

 

He finds Kong, who was laying his back against a mountain.

 

"Father. it's me"

 

Kong changes his direction and looks at his son.

 

"What is it Child?"

 

Kai pauses and builds up the courage to tell his father.

 

He knows his father isn't going to take this news lightly though, he sighed before telling his father the news that's going to rock his world and change it forever.

Chapter 4: Across Waters

It obviously wasn't easy for Kong to take the news, he has stood up and gotten angry, I mean is it that surprising?

 

Why would he want to leave his home, it's all he had before everything else that came to his life.

 

But after some talking with his father, and some trees being thrown around, Kong finally came to an agreement with it.

 

Currently, they were being transported across the Pacific Ocean to a Vile Vortex to the Hollow Earth in Antarctica.

 

Kong has been knocked out due to sedatives running through him.

 

Kai has been soaking in sunlight and watching the ocean, he hasn't really been outside of Skull Island so this was relatively new.

 

He had been at the bridge of the ship where his Mother and Sister are also at.

 

He changed his view and turned to look at his father who was knocked out right in front of them from sedatives

 

Of course, he knew things like a normal person would, it's not like he would act out of the normal.

 

"Jesus I can smell him from up here" Nathan joked as he walked into the bridge of the cargo ship, Kai rolled his eyes at the corny joke.

 

"Well he can smell you too" Ilene told Nathan which made him had an uncomfortable feeling building up in his face.

 

Kong had woken up due to the sedatives wearing off and the effects subsiding, it's still a surprise the ship can support his weight. "What is this?" Kong said as he viewed what's transporting him.

 

"Still not a fan huh?" Ilene asked Nathan as she noticed uncertainty in him, Kai wasn't exactly sure if he was the right person to be here.

 

"Coward" Jia signed to her brother and mom, this make Kai choke a chuckle and Ilene smile. "What's she saying?".

 

"Just an Iwi expression it means that you're very brave" Ilene lied while trying to not smile and break an octave in her tone.

 

Kai tired not it smile and nodded, lying through his teeth as well."They used light touch on the sedatives, he's our escort, can't have him comatose when we reach Hollow Earth" Lind explained to them, even though it's pretty known to all of them.

 

"What if Kong doesn't go willingly what you do then?” Ilene asked the man but doesn't get a response when the man is called to the forward deck of the ship by an automated announcement.

 

"Excuse me, new arrivals" Nathan spoke as he left the bridge. "Coward". Their mom signed to them which made Jia smile and Kai chuckle.

 

He breaks off from them as he notices his father staring at him through the window, trying to communicate with him.

 

He looked very tired, distressed, and annoyed of where he finds himself to be "Son. This is not what I expected this to be". Kai looked at his father sympathetically, trying to lower his nerves.

 

"I know father. But this is what's best for both of us. For you". Kong looked warily before starting to admire the chains kept around his wrist.

 

Kai sighed sadly as he made his way out of the bridge our the ship. But not without his mother and sister watching him exit with regretful looks on them.

 

Kai walked slowly down a long hallway that led to his room. He suddenly felt an uneven feeling inside of his stomach, He wasn't hungry or hurting or anything. It was something else.

 

Kai wasn't sure what this could've meant so he chose to not make a bother about it. In the meanwhile he had arrived in his room and played down face first into the bed's cover, not caring enough to put them over.

 

He slept al the way until it was pitch black outside of the ship. Kai woke up to the ship rocking and creaking. He knew this could've only meant one thing.

 

 Dad is angry

 

He left his room and a quicker than normal paste made his way through the ship, but not before crossing paths with Jia who was headed the same way as him.

 

Together they both walked through a door and are instantly drowsed by the rain to the deck of the ship and see Kong trying to rip off his chains while roaring in pain, anger, and confusion.

 

"Why? WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN TO ME!? I JUST WANT TO LIVE?! I WANT HOME!"

 

Kai looked up at his father with a heartbroken look, his father doesn't deserve this, he's lost nearly everything in his life. He's lost his parents, his species.

 

Now his home

 

Together, with the help of sister, as they held their hands together they both had extended a hand up into the sky with their index fingers pointing out in each of them.

 

This eventfully caught the attention of the large ape as he looked down to both children, his expression turns much softer and calmer as he leaned towards and extends a finger of his own towards them.

 

They eventually collide as Kai spoke to his father. "I know father. But I promise you that you're not alone anymore. Me, Jia, and Mom will always be by your side"

 

Kong leans back to his normal position as he let out a small smile to them but still feeling low-spirted.

 

"Kai. Jia Come on! We all have to go back inside" their mother came up to them and tired to drag them back inside but failing as they stood in place.

 

"What are you two doing? It's not safe out here" Ilene signed so Jia can understand her as well.

 

"Kong is sad and angry" Jia signed back. "That's because he doesn't understand, we want to help him". Kai shook his head at that. He really only really trusted them.

 

"He doesn't believe that" Jia signed back as she looked between her mother and Kong.

 

Ilene gives her a face of confusion "How do you know?". Jia pointed back at the great ape and responds by "He told us".

 

Ilene looks a bit shock but they all soon turn their attention of the sounds of the chains moving as Kong brings his hand up to the side of his head and signs.

 

"Home. Home"

 

Ilene jaw drops as she stands back up in shock and disbelief of the discovery that was new to her, but not two certain people.

 

Ilene keeps her composure as she turns back towards her children, as if asking for an explanation, who don't say anything back towards her.

After that, they had all gone to sleep, but not letting what they saw get out of their heads.

 

Ilene had called both for Jia and Kai to meet up at Jia's room, and there they sat on Jia's bed waiting for their mother to ask them what she saw the night before.

 

Jia had been drawing a picture of a flower in a book while Kai had played with a ball by throwing against the wall.

 

Their mother had walked in and gained the attention of both of them.

 

"Hey. Why didn't you tell me? You know I've been trying to communicate with him, to understand"

 

"Dad didn't want to know. He thought people would try to use it against him" Kai signed back.

 

Ilene reminded him of fact that it was revealed. "Now, everyone knows" Kai and Jia nodded sadly but Ilene hugged the both of them to make them feel better.

 

"It's ok, don't feel bad. Nothing bad is gonna happen because of this" Ilene told the two but then leaving to talk to the Lind guy.

 

Jia looked down sadly so Kai wrapped his arms around her shoulders and brought her close to him, she slowly started to feel better and started to play with her Kong plush.

 

Not too long after, the uneasy feeling that Kai had returned once more. But more stronger, he guessed Jia felt it to because her eyes widened as she stopped playing with her toy.

 

They both placed a hand on the side of the wall and started to feel vibrations, coming from someone or something.

 

Godzilla is heading towards them

 

They both jump out the bed and started sprinting towards their mother, rapidly looking into rooms to find her but not without a few people staring at them.

 

Suddenly, an alarm went off, guess they know now, at that moment they found their mother and Lind who go towards them at the same time.

 

They signed to their mom, telling her what's the problem.

 

"What are they saying?" Lind asked the women.

 

"Godzilla"

 

They four of them quickly made their way to the bridge of the ship, hearing Kong roaring and trying to break out of the chains.

 

The ship rocks which pushed them around a bit, Ilene went up the commander and asked him what happened.

 

"Did we change course?" She asked the man. "No, we're no where near the areas you flagged" the commander told her".

 

"It looks like he's coming for us anyways"

 

"He's not coming for us" Ilene reminded the former Monarch worker.

 

"He's coming for someone here" Kai butted in.

 

"Him? Then dump him, dump the monkey!" A random woman told them as if it was the most obvious thing ever.

 

This angered Kai as he walked towards her but gets held back by his mother and sister. "How about I feed you to Godzilla huh?" Kai said angrily as his iris's glowed bright yellow for a brief moment.

 

The woman is taken aback by the teenager that just appeared and threatened her. The ship is rocked again, some people are thrown to the ground and others keep their balance.

 

"We have to release him" Ilene told them all. "We lose Kong the mission is over" Lind responded back to her.

 

"Well there won't be no so called mission if he's dead!" Kai said annoyed as electrical currents started to run through his hands.

 

"Kai, go out and help him!" His mother told him, Kai wasted not time in running throughout the ship before arriving to the main deck and transforming into his Titan form.

 

He tries to rip off the chains keeping his father contained, they both see a ship rise out of the water heading towards them.

 

Seemingly as if being dragged or caught in something.

 

Kong roars as the object heading towards them, as if challenging it, which catches Kai by surprise as he's already occupied with the chains.

 

"STAY AWAY FROM MY SON!"

 

The battle ship disappears beneath the water as the outline slowly begins to disappear more and more.

 

"Stay back son"

 

Kai begins to anticipate the next move, his Dad roars at the water in defiance, "FIGHT ME!", no time later, Godzilla jumps out of the water and roars back. "YOU'RE DEAD APE!".

 

Godzilla's body and weight causes the ship to flip upside down, but this also sends Kai into the air flying and landing on the aircraft hanger of another one.

 

Some jets are destroyed due to his weight and he groans in pain from the landing. He sees some soldiers on the hanger looking up at him in awe.

 

He waves at them and gives one to them a fist bump in which the other returns it but shaking a bit from a Titan fist bumping him.

 

He quickly stands back up, but carefully to not flip this ship as well from his weight.

 

He dives into the water and starts swimming towards his Dad who has just been unchained, at the same time Godzilla collides with him as they start fighting.

 

Kong holds Godzilla by the arm and neck but Godzilla bites his hand causing blood to leak out. Kong keeps Godzilla at bay by holding his arms and head buts Godzilla and kicks him back.

 

Kong flips the ship he was in previously back upright, Godzilla tries jumping out again but is intercepted by Kai who knocks into him and disorients him.

 

"Get away from my dad!"

 

Kai knows it would be a bad outcome is he uses his electric powers in the water so he resorts to melee attacks.

 

He places his feet on Godzilla's side and pulls on his short arm to distract him long enough. But Godzilla takes offense of this.

 

"INSOLENT CHILD!" Godzilla tells Kai as she shakes his body to disorient Kai, which works for a bit but not to much.

 

He punches Godzilla in his gills which makes Godzilla roar in anger, this small child will not get in his way, Godzilla wraps his tail around Kai's waist and hurls him a few hundred a feet away.

 

"Stay out of this boy! This is between me and your father!" Godzilla said as he swam away and him to attack Kong again.

 

Kai regains his bearings and climbs back on to the deck of the cargo ship. He sees his father jumping from one ship to another before stopping on one ship.

 

Kai decides to launch himself into the air with his bio electricity and lands a hit right on Godzilla's largest dorsal plate.

 

This aggravates the king as he uses his tail and splashes water on the young human/titan hybrid.

 

He's sees his Dad roaring at Godzilla and throws a jet with someone inside before ejecting and hitting Godzilla on his back, which has no effect.

 

Kai makes his way to the ship his father is on as Godzilla climbs on the ship as well.

 

Kong delivers a blow to Godzilla's face and Kai sends an electric blast at Godzilla's leg. Both of which had only a little effect on the king.

 

Godzilla refers back and slaps Kong in his face, which sends him flying back onto his back, Godzilla anticipates Kai and uses his tail to knock him out of the air.

 

Godzilla prepares to charge his atomic breath but gets cut off by missiles hitting him but he slaps the jets out of the air with his tail.

 

He tries to charge Kong buts gets intercepted by a punch and an electric punch to the top of his head, Kong then pushes Godzilla back into the water.

 

Both of them sit on the hanger, looking down into the water as it begins to glow light blue.

 

"You're not getting away from me!" Godzilla screamed as he released his atomic breath upwards, both father and son jump off the ship in time as it explodes from the atomic blast.

 

They fall into the water and try to swim back up but Kong is blindsided by Godzilla as he starts dragging him under the water.

 

Kai grabs on to Godzilla's tail and tries to lessen his grip on his father, but due to his size it does pretty much nothing.

 

Kai begins to panic as he pulls harder but to no eval as they're taken deeper and deeper into the sea.

 

"Let go of him you asshole!"

 

"WHAT DID I SAY!? STAY OUT OF THIS!"  Godzilla respond back angrily.

 

"WATCH YOUR TONE WITH HIM!!"

 

Suddenly explosives are set off sound them as Godzilla releases his grip on Kong, they both quickly made their way back up to the surface to the ship.

 

Kong rolls over on his back as Kai sits down panting, trying to catch his breath.

 

He watches as Godzilla's dorsal plates are moving towards them, he deeply begins to prepare to attack Godzilla again but stops in his tracks.

 

He watches as the ships around him shut off their powers, are they playing dead?, Kai thought but his attention is gained as Godzilla breaches the water and stares at him.

 

Kai stares back at him, seemingly ready to challenge him again to a fight, Godzilla stares as him in amusement as he watches the little Titan challenge him.

 

"You have heart little one, but I don't want to kill your father in front of you"

 

"He'll kick your ass and I'll be there next to him" Kai told him pissed off.

 

Godzilla seemingly "I will tell you this, final warning, I don't want to traumatize you so stay out of this, I'll see you around little one" Godzilla smirked at Kai.

 

Godzilla told him as he turned away and dived back into the water. Kai relaxes as he releases his tense up.

 

He shakes his father who in turns lays a hand on the side of his head and bringing their heads closer, laying their foreheads against each other, Kong lightly smiles.

 

"I'm proud of you Kai" Kong said but looks into the window of the ship, Kai turns and sees Jia signing to them.

 

"Thank you. You both" Jia smiled at them through the window. Kai smiles and Kong nods before falling asleep from exhaustion.

 

Kai changes back into his human form and walks back up to the bridge of the ship, he's instantly swarmed by his mother and sister.

 

Who check to see is he's hurt badly.

 

"Are you ok?! Do you need anything?!" Ilene said frantically as she checked for anything bad, she was terrified seeing Kai getting thrown around during that fight.

 

"Guys I'm ok, I promise" Kai smiled and chuckled at their overprotectiveness, Ilene and Jia smiles back as they both said.

 

"You did amazing"

 

He hugs them tightly and lets go as he does feel slight pain in his ribs, guess that's what happens when you get thrown by a four hundred foot lizard.

 

He still can't believe he just fought the King of the Monsters.

 

Some time passes as he eavesdrops on a smalls conversion between his mom and Lind.

 

"As soon as we move again he'll be back, how are we suppose to get the rest of the way?" Ilene asked him.

 

"How's Kong with heights?" Lind asked as she turned back towards him.

 

Kai then joins in mid conversation with had Ken thing to say.

 

"So quick question, did I really just fight the titan that killed a three headed alien?" Kai asked which made them both chuckle.

 

"What's so funny? I'm actually being serious"

 

His mood always seems to have an effect on people positively when he's so naive.

 

Kai rolls his eyes, but also hoping that nothing else gets in the way of their goal.

Chapter 5: The Long Ago Below

After Nathan had pulled a few strings, they managed to get Kong carried by helicopter, with him lying on a giant net.

 

Kai chuckled at this a bit because it looked so ridiculous and funny, especially with his Dad's sleeping position.

 

Kai and Jia had been conversing with each other ever since they woke up during their travel.

 

"Well we're almost there" Kai told Jia with a smile, in which he received one back from her as she hugs her Kong plushie.

 

"I feel the cold already" she mildly complained as she felt the temperature of the Icy continent already.

 

"That's Antarctica for you, we've lived on a warm island forever"

 

"Well this is not my place for a vacation idea" Jia joked which made Bill chuckle and ruffle her hair.

 

The helicopter begins to descend down onto one of the many helipads of the facility, once the place jolts from the landing they all unbuckle their seatbelts and rise from their seats.

 

They exit the helicopter and take in the Icy terrain, there are multiple towers seemingly making a U-turn at some point.

 

They see a small structure with a door that opens to reveal stairs, they all walk down the steps and see Kong on all 4s walking towards them.

 

Jia and Kai walk up closer to Kong than any of the others, Kai moves a bit forwards and lays a hand and his forehead on his father's nose.

 

There's no communication between the two but intake each other prescience, with the journey having been rocky they haven't had much time with each other. 

 

But now, they can go aside each other as they explore this new world, untouched for who knows how long.

 

Kai backs up as he and Jia stare back at their mother who nods at them.

 

They turn back to Kong and Kai says "Home" and points towards the entrance to the Hollow Earth, Kong glances at it warily and turns back to his kids.

 

Jia points at the plushie of Kong, then the entrance to help persuade him to go but Kong disagrees.

 

"Yeah, that's a no no"  Kong said as he slowly walks away from the group.

 

"It's not working" Nathan sighs discontentedly as the plan continues on having speed bumps.

 

"Yeah I think we all know that" Kai said sarcastically to the older man but his mother gave him a look that told him to stop, but not really.

 

"Look, just wait" Ilene told Nathan as she tries to come up with something but Nathan betas her to it.

 

"What if they tell him that there are others down there, like him and Kai?" Nathan offered, Kai perked up at the idea, not solemnly going against it but not wanting to give his Dad false hope.

 

"You don't know that" Ilene said back in disbelief.

 

"We lost our entire fleet getting here, there's no way back for him, and he can't survive here" Nathan told the woman as they turn to see Kong observing the snow and shivering from the cold.

 

"Man is it cold out here"

 

"Alright" Ilene agreed reluctantly and went up to Kai and Jia.

 

"Tell him, there could me more like Kai and him, inside" Ilene signed so both could understand, Jia perked up at this.

 

"Family?"

 

Ilene struggles out a response, trying not to lie to her daughter "I don't know, I hope so".

 

Kong walks up to them again as they do as well, "There might be more down there" Jia points to the entrance to the Hollow Earth.

 

Kong perks up as this and stares at the entrance for a few seconds, "WELL DON'T TELL ME TWICE, KAI, JIA LETS GO" Kong said as he ran towards the portal.

 

"He's going, prepare to launch" Nathan ordered some guards as they prep up the HEAVs.

 

Kai looks at his mom and sister who both nod at him, Kai jumped off of the ledge and transformed into his Titan form and lands on his feet and quickly tries to catch up to his Dad.

 

He sees his Dad swinging on support beams so he does the same as well.

 

"DAD WAIT UP!" Kai yelled through the tunnel and headed his father low rumbling chuckle "Better pick up the pace kid" Kong looked back at his son and smirks.

 

Kai groans in annoyance as he swings from one beam to another but with more force due to his small size.

 

They both eventually lose their grip and fall down a hole thousands of feet below with a swirling lights at the bottom, the vortex.

 

Kai dives forwards and enters through the portal, he sees a multiple of lights that are blue, purple, green, he sees his father next to him and tries to hold onto him but fails to do so.

 

He eventually loses his diving position and is now flailing around and they are short through another portal.

 

They head through another cavernous place but are shot out and see something magnificent and beautiful.

 

Hollow Earth

 

Kong and Kai try to reach for each other as they are a few hundred feet apart, the HEAVs all fall next to him and Kai hears his dad saying "What the hell man?"

 

They suddenly stop falling and are momentarily suspended in the sky but are pulled up to one to the sides of the Hollow Earth.

 

Kai tries grabbing on to mountains but his grip slips as he is rapidly falling, he gains some baring by stopping with his feet right before he falls, his father is hanging on right below him and they watch the HEAV's regain control.

 

They jump off and land on the ground and start running in the same direction, but they're now drawn to a place that feels familiar but one of which they don't know of.

 

Kia looks around in wonder and awe, it look like the surface but much more lush and beautiful.

 

There's another side just right above them with clouds and mountains, and rivers just right above their heads.

 

Kai climbs on mountains and jumps as he follows next to his father who's in the same awe state as him "Magnificent"

 

Kai notices a few flying birds, they look like the ones on Skull Island but seem much more peaceful than the crazier ones.

 

There seems to be a mysterious blue energy coursing through the grounds of the lands, is it link to them?

 

Kai feels almost at peace being in this place, feeling freedom and relaxation of the beauty of this world.

 

But it is interrupted when both Apes hear an explosion occur behind them, they turn their heads and see a long serpent Titan with red wings and fangs on the bottom jaw.

 

"What the hell is that?" Kai wonders as the creature circles around.

 

"OOh Food"

 

Another one of the same species appears and nearly eats another HEAV but Kong grabs on to its tail "Oh no you don't"

 

Kong slams the creature onto the ground, but its head is pierced by a spiky rock, killing it instantly.

 

"NOO, ILL KILL YOUR KID FOR THAT!" A third other creature said as it opens its jaw to latch onto Kai's head but Kai charges up his hand and his knuckles and eyes turn yellow "EAT THIS!" Kai said as he uppercutted the flying animal.

 

The serpent animals flies back down and tackles Kai into the mountain side he rolls over as the Titan dives at him but crashes into the mountain.

 

"AARRGHH, JUST DIE!" The snake like creature screamed as it wrapped its tail around Kai's legs and pulls back to trip himself him.

 

The fanged Titan leans up and dives at Kai's face but Kai grabs its bottom and top jaw, but keeping careful of not puncturing his hand on the fangs.

 

Kai is slowly over taken in strength as the creature leans closer and closer to Kai's face, easy to shred it apart.

 

But Kai charges us his hands, electricity running down form his neck, to his arms, to his palms as they shine yellow.

 

The Titan's eye widen and tries to pull back out of Kai's grip but Kai just holds on tighter and a pulse is released from both hands, destroying the animals head and leaving the body headless.

 

Kai sits back and regains his breath, he turned and see his father decapitate the last creatures head and inspects it with wonder.

 

"Hmm, I'm hungry anyways" Kong shrugged as he sucked out the creatures head, Kai looks away in disgust and shivers.

 

"Really Dad, was that necessary?" Kai asked as he sees green fluids fall down into his fathers's mouth.

 

His Dad licks his mouth and throws the head to the side and starts running again, "I've had better, let's go Son"

 

Kai starts running again as he passes by the decapitated head.

 

They see all types of life forms in this land claw liked creatures, one that kind of resembles Godzilla, and some other from Skull Island.

 

This land is nothing like anyone has ever seen, Kai just hope that it stays this way for as long as this rock of a planet exists.

 

But he also feels a vibe that there are dangerous here that the surface had never seen, some maybe some that are even more Malevolent than Ghidorah.

 

They eventually come across a place with floating rocks that are surging with the blue energy all around this place.

 

Kong reaches up to touch one which pushes two of them towards a hand like structure.

 

"This Place is freaky" Kong said, Kai looked at him and chuckled.

 

"Really? Just now this place is freaky to you"

 

"I guess" Kong shrugged

 

They both jump up, seeing that they both are in the air, this section seems to be some like some type of inversion of gravity.

 

They both turn other but not before touching the structure then standing bidpedal.

 

"Well little one, looks like something we're gonna get used to" Kong looked down at his son who stares up at him.

 

"At least this place is gorgeous" Kai smiled up at his Dad who lays his palm on his head as they take in the land.

 

"Father?" Kai looked at his father.

 

"Yes Ki" Kong said to his son, "Are you worried about this place?

 

Kong kneeled down to be at eye level with his son, "Son, if you're worried about anything down here tell me"

 

"We don't know this place, and we just got into a fight with those flying snakes, who knows what else is down here"

 

Kong places his index finger under Kai's chin to lift it up, brings Kai's chin up as well "I won't let anything down here or up there harm you as long as I'm around"

 

Kai jumps forward and wraps his arms around Kong's neck, who in turns wraps his arms around his small son's body and embraces him.

 

Jia and Ilene watch inside of the HEAV and the father and son moment with smiles and adoration on their faces.

Chapter 6: Hollow Earth to Hong Kong

Kong was running on all 4s without glancing at much as they were starting to close in on their destination.

 

Kai had started running on both legs, barely keeping up with his Dad, smiling as he's never felt this alive, even on Skull Island.

 

As they started to pear over the top of the mountain, a spiked formation is sticking out, which reveals to be a giant temple.

 

 There is cloud above it and electricity striking down on it as well as sun light illuminating the top of the structure.

 

Kai looks at wonder in this, not thinking that his species would be capable of making stuff like this.

 

This starts to make Kai run a lot more faster than he was, eager to explore this massive place, wondering if there is evidence or at least their kind still living there.

 

Once they got close enough, they slowed down with Kong riding on his feet and the HEAVs just behind them as they both gazed up.

 

They arrive in front of the entrance with a hand print that looks like theirs, Kong stairs at his right hand in wonder.

 

"Hmm, maybe this is the key?" Kong said as he turns his eyes back towards the door and place his paw on top of the red one and pushed the door open.

 

Light immediately rushes in to the place, they both walk towards and are at the top of stairs as they view the inside.

 

There were close to a dozen thrones with multiple of them circling one in the middle and a smaller one next to it, they're all surging with the same blue energy.

 

But no one is here, where are they? the place looks untouched for the most part, so why is there no one around.

 

Together Kong and Kai let out a bellow to see if anyone would respond to them, but all they hear is their bellows echoing out.

 

This dejects Kai, this place had brought a slimmer of hope that they weren't alone in this world, but it seems like they are.

 

But they can't be, right?

 

But no giving up total hope, they both walk towards to inspect more of this place and seeing some interesting things.

 

Fire seemingly scorched everywhere, there were bones littered everywhere on the ground, must have been as massive fight, or a place to kill for an audience?

 

As they checked the ground, they both see a massive axe lodged into a skull of a very large reptilian titan.

 

The Axe blade remodels one of Godzilla's dorsal plates, the hide of a reptilian creature, and the bone of a large Titan.

 

Kong see this and pulls the axe of the skull and checks it out, admiring it, he roars into the sky and beats his chest.

 

The Axe humongous, it had to be double of Kai's height at least, making Kai feel tiny in the grand skim of Titans. 

 

Kai smiles as they both walk forward, Kai looks down as sees the remaining HEAVs land on the ground.

 

Kai and Kong both sat down on the thrones that seems to perfectly fit them, fit for a King and his Prince.

 

Kai exhales and lays back as he closes his eyes, he feels at peace again, something he hadn't felt for some time ever since his home was destroyed.

 

But now, things feel fine again, a bit normal, but maybe there's more still that they don't know yet.

 

"I'm gonna look around, is that okay?"  Kai stood up as he asked his father, "You can but be carful, you hear me?"

 

Kai nodded, "Yes Dad", Kai walked off into one of the other rooms of the temple to learn more about his kind and their past.

 

This place makes Kai, felt like an and, the Axe already did that but this was just more on more.

 

He passes by a giant ape statue that had its arms in a position that looked like it was about to strike something.

 

This couldn't have just been Kong's making all of this, Did the Iwi people also help create this?

 

Kai enters one rooms and this perks his interest, in the ceiling there is a depiction that makes shock and surprise for Kai.

 

A cave painting that shows Kongs and Godzillas attacking a winged Godzilla, they worked together!?

 

Kai heads back to where the others are to tell him what he just saw, passing by his discoveries but notices a blue light shining.

 

From both his father's new Axe and the ground as well.

 

The light seems to depict Godzilla in the ground, this energy is something different, could it be useful to me?

 

Kai places his right palm on the ground, on top of the surging power, but it does something to him, to surges through his hand up to his arm, into his eyes then vanishes.

 

But it throws him back as a pulse from inside of him pushes him back and on to the ground, groaning as he hit his head, Kong rushes towards Kai in shock and fear.

 

"KI, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Kong frantically checks Kai, to see if the pulse did something to him, but his son reassures him that he's okay.

 

Kai decides to shrink down to see how his mom and sister doing, who also ask his he's okay which he tells them that he is.

 

At the same time, a small robot is planted in the ground and starts to drill into the ground to extract the energy.

 

"What are you doing?" Ilene asked the woman, whose name was Maia Simmons, the daughter of Apex Cybernetics CEO Walter Simmons.

 

"Extracting a sample" Simmons told her nonchalantly, not caring if she's doing anything bad.

 

"This is a power beyond our understanding you can't just drill into it" She told the Simmons Woman back in disbelief as she's meddling with forces beyond their comprehension.

 

"Actually we can, my father gets what he wants, that's Apex Property now" Maia spoke back, oh so she's a Daddy's pleaser.

 

"What?"

 

The robot extracted a sample of the energy and inserted it inside and seemingly sending a signal, probably to the surface world.

 

"That is the discovery of the millennia you can't just strip it for parts-"

 

"Hold it" Maia told her as the soldiers pointed guns at them, even Jia, seeing this Kai jumps in front of her and his eyes turn yellow which makes the soldier jump back.

 

Kong apparently also saw this and angrily roared down at the soldiers, which makes everyone flinch.

 

"WHO THE FUCK YOU THINK YOU PEOPLE ARE?!"

 

All of a sudden, the entire temple begins to violently shake, up above dozens or even hundreds of flying bats fly down towards them.

 

"FRESH MEAT!!" Many of them said in unison.

 

Mai and her soldiers ran back into one of the HEAVs, Kai tried to run towards to attack but is held back by Nathan, Ilene, and Jia.

 

"Don't focus on them, let's just get out of here, okay?" Nathan asked Kai who nodded back.

 

The four of them all ran to a HEAV with a soldier guiding them, but it then tackled by on the flying creatures.

 

"MINE!" The creature spoke as he chewed into the soldier who screamed in pain, but then soon stop, another one came in to feast on the body as well.

 

"BACK OFF GENE!"

 

"I DON'T CARE GIMMIE!!"

 

"Nope" the first one kicked the other in the face and flew off with the body, they seem to not get much food around here.

 

The second one looked towards them and the creature looked ugly, it looked like a rooster combined with a bat.

 

Kai puts Jia behind him as the creature inspected the group, Nathan had the smart idea to lick up a rock and toss it at the creature head, hitting it on the side of the face.

 

This aggregated the bird, “OH YOU'RE SO DEAD BUDDY!" it said as it flew up and dived.

 

But a blue light shines from out the ground, and the force knocks them all back, even the creature, the sound it emits sound familiar, meaning it could've been one thing doing this.

 

The blue flame disappears to reveal a giant hole in the ground, Godzilla's roar echoes into the room.

 

"GET YOUR ASS UP HERE!"

 

Kong looks down and lets out a call of his own, "SAY LESS BUDDY!", Kong is cut off as a rock hits his back and is nearly pierced by a spike but manages to avoided it.

 

The HEAV with Simmons in it starts to fire at Kong, but he grabs it as it tries to escape through the hole, he checks inside to see if any one of importance to him is in there.

 

Which of course no one in there is, he crushes the HEAV in his hand and throws the remains onto the ground, killing Simmons.

 

"You guys go, ima stay with him" Kai told the other three as they nodded and ran into the last HEAV.

 

He grows back into his Titan form and watches in sadness as the temple starts falling all around them.

 

Kong picks up his Axe, "Come on Son", Kai hops onto his father's back and stays on by holding onto his shoulders.

 

Kong jumps into the hole, sliding down using his axe to not go to fast down, Kai looks up and sees a throne fall down and covers the hole.

 

But he sees the light of the HEAV follow them but since they're going faster the light vanishes from sight.

 

 After sometime, they had to invert and start climbing their way up the hole, but they succeed and end up on the surface again.

 

They end up in a neon light city, but here it's already dark, this place looks familiar to Kai, he sees a digital sign with Cantonese on it.

 

This is Hong Kong

 

They both notice Godzilla near the skyline with his back turned, Kong roars at him.

 

"Behind you!” Kong told Godzilla, who heard this and turns around and chuckles, "Let's go then".

 

They both roar at each other and Kong rushes towards Godzilla, Kai jumps off Kong's back and rushes him to by jumping onto a building and jumping off of it.

 

Kong tries to pierce Godzilla's head but gets the Axe stuck in a building, Godzilla bites his shoulder and throws him into another building, causing it to collapse.

 

Kai holds onto a building but jumps off and lands on Godzilla's side.

 

Kong elbows the top Godzilla's head as he tried to charge up his atomic breath, Kai grabbed Godzilla's arm and held them back for a few seconds.

 

But Kong puts Godzilla in a choke hold and throws him hundreds of feet away, Kai back flips off of Godzilla and lands on the street.

 

Kai notices people on a roof of a building and cups them in his hand and distances them from the battle, he put them by the shoreline and gave them a thumbs up.

 

As Kai looked back he sees Kong stuffing the bone of the Axe inside of Godzilla's throat, but Godzilla pushes Kong back.

 

Godzilla fires his atomic breath at Kong but it is absorbed by the Axe, Godzilla rushes Kong but is intercepted by Kai as he pushes him into the ground.

 

Kai tore off a metal antennas and tried to wrap it around Godzilla's throat but Godzilla quickly rises up and tried to toss Kai away but Kai jumps around with flips and cartwheels.

 

This annoys Godzilla heavily as he tries to clash Kai's face but Kai jumps up and climbs and building and punches Godzilla with an electrical punch.

 

"Get out of here brat" Godzilla trapped Kai by wrapping his tail around him and tossing him across Hong Kong.

 

Kai hears his father scream angrily and hears a pained noise from Godzilla, Kai is thrown down a busy street and sees his father trying to avoid the atomic breath.

 

Kai picks up as much people as he can and clears them from the battle, he even takes some cars in his hand.

 

Luckily he didn't crush anyone, Kai used both of his hands and sends an electric beam at Godzilla's left side.

 

Godzilla, seemingly taking this personal, as if something similar like that happened to him, sees red and fires his atomic breath at Kai.

 

But Kai, sends beams of electricity at the atomic breath, capturing both of them in a beam lock.

 

Yellow and Blue light up the surrounding area as they struggle, Godzilla uses his tail and sends debris to Kai but Kai avoids this by hiding behind a building.

 

Godzilla fires his atomic breath at Kong who's the top of a red lit building, the HEAV flies past both of them.

 

Kong grabs a piece of a building to block the atomic breath, Kong picks up his Axe and jumps up as the Axe absorbs the energy of the Atomic Breath.

 

Kong brings the Axe down onto Godzilla, but it explodes as a nuclear pulse right before it makes contact with Godzilla's head.

 

Kai is thrown back from the force towards the mountains of the island, as he feels trees make contact with his back.

 

He gets up and sees Godzilla's back crashing into a building as he's buried in the rubble, he also sees his Father get back up as well.

 

Kai sits momentarily to regain his strength as he watches the light from the Axe vanish.

Chapter 7: Return of The False King

Kai is laying his back on the Side of the mountain, observing the damage caused by the 2 v 1 battle.

 

He turns his head to the left and sees a pyramid building attached to the side of the mountain, must be a headquarters or something.

 

Kai rises up back to his feet to assess the damage and try to find people.

 

Kai makes his way to the downtown area of Hong Kong and the streets are mostly filled with rubble from buildings either damaged or collapsed.

 

Kai is tiny compared to most of the buildings, only certain ones does he breach.

 

He kneels down to the ground and hears struggle, carefully, he lifts off some rubble and what revels to be is a dozen or so people that were trapped.

 

They were fearful at first but relaxed as they seem to notice that Kai wasn't a threat to them, but a savior.

 

Kai seems to see that they're thanking him but he can't exactly tell them, so he lets out a sound that lets them know they're welcome.

 

He rises to his feet and noticed a building slanted on another one, next to him, he rips off shouting with a metal tower.

 

He jumps in to the non slanted building and uses the metal tower as leverage to push the slanted building up again.

 

Slowly, he puts the building back a 90 degree angle, he could hear some claps coming from inside the building and the streets below.

 

They like him

 

He smiled at this and hears heavy footsteps, without hesitation, he turns around fast. Ready to strike whatever is behind him as he throws the metal tower fast towards the figure.

 

It catches the metal tower and it is revealed to be Kong, smirking at him but also with a look of proudness.

 

"Sorry Son, a little to slow, but what you're doing is incredible, you'll be a great leader one day"

 

Kai smiles at him a bit and slowly goes up to hugs his father by wrapping his jumping up and wrapping his arms and legs around his waist and burying his face in his belly.

 

He's supported by Kong's hand keeping him from falling off, the sweet moment is cut off as growling is heard from the other side of the city.

 

Kai lets go and picks up with metal antenna to be ready for battle again.

 

Kai feels a tap in his shoulder and turns around, "Hide behind there, I have an idea" Kong said as he picked up a crane nearby and climbed up a yellow pyramid building.

 

Kai hides behind a cluster of buildings close to each other, holding the metal antenna in his hand tightly.

 

Kai sees a blue shine peering through the buildings and it appearing on top as well.

 

He looks up and sees his father throw the crane at a green lighted building, distracting Godzilla then jumping into his back and slamming his head into the building.

 

Kai jumps out from behind the buildings and smacks Godzilla's face with it, breaking it in half.

 

Kong wraps his arm around Godzilla's neck as they collide into multiple buildings, but Kong keeps his hold on Godzilla's neck.

 

Kai at the same time, sends electric punches to Godzilla's face and stomach, aggravating him even more.

 

But Godzilla, having enough of the two apes, throws Kong off of his back and into the ground.

 

Godzilla changes his direction and and rushes to Kai, at the same time Kai jumps up to punch Godzilla in the face.

 

But Godzilla catches him mid air by holding him by his neck, Kai feels the claws digging into his neck as he is lifted up and is only a few feet away from Godzilla's face.

 

His brown eyes locking with Godzilla's amber eyes, he looks pissed.

 

"I told you to stay out of this" Godzilla told Kai as he hurled him into Downtown.

 

"KAI!!" Kong screamed out for his son, seeing him hitting his back against the roofs of a few buildings.

 

Kai feels his entire back of his body collide with one last skyscraper and falls down onto the street.

 

He is battered up, his body bruised up but he is not done fighting yet. He coughs a bit, he tries to get back up but hears crumbling.

 

He slowly looks and sees the building he crashed into falling on him, he falls back and covers his face with his arms as he feels the entire weight of the building make contact with his body.

 

Glass piercing into him and metal and concrete crushing him, the weight pushing him into the ground.

 

He starts feeling light headed and blacks out as he hears screams of rage and hurt echo through the city.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kai slowly regains consciousness as he sees nothing but black and feels rubble all over him.

 

He pushes most of the rubble off of him, but not all of it comes up, feeling a bit energized, his entire body starts sizzling with electricity as a mini pulse is ejected and pushes all the rubble off of him.

 

He looks up and sees that it is the day time now, the city looks even worse than it did before he was knocked out.

 

But he hears roars of Godzilla, and something that isn't organic.

 

He looks to the side and sees Godzilla fighting a creature that looks like him but is mechanized.

 

The Mech is visibly giving the works to Godzilla by tossing him around and smashing him into multiple buildings.

 

Kai climbs up to the bushings behind him and overlooks the city, he sees a large brown figure laying on its back.

 

It's his father

 

He jumps across the roofs of buildings, a little sore from the building having crushed him for the night.

 

When he reaches his father, he's knocked out cold, multiple claw marks littered across his pecs and chest.

 

He looks to the side and see the HEAV land on the ground next to them, he slowly transforms back to his human form to meet up.

 

He watches as Jia, his mom, and Nathan all exit the HEAV and see their faces turn in shock as they watch the fight between Mechagodzilla and Godzilla.

 

"What the hell is that" Nathan says in shock looking at the Mecha Titan who is overpowering Godzilla.

 

Jia runs for to check in Kong and Kai follows closely behind her.

 

She has tears in her eyes looking at his state and kneels down to feel the vibrations coming from Kong.

 

His heart is starting to give out

 

Ilene follows behind and Jia turn around to tell her the issue.

 

"His heart is slowing down"

 

Ilene is saddened by this revolution and watches her and Kong with sympathy.

 

Nathan rushes in as well "What's happening", Ilene stands up and explains without looking back, "She can feel his heart beat, he's dying"

 

"There's nothing we can do to restart his heart we'd have to produce a charge big enough to-

 

"Light up Las Vegas for a week" Nathan realizes, Kai and Ilene look back at him, Nathan looks at Kai and Kai nods, almost telepathically understanding him.

 

They all run towards the HEAV to set it up to explode, but Kai's bio electricity will increase if even more enough to restart Kong's heart.

 

Nathan overcharges the core, "Okay you two better get some distance" Nathan directed towards Ilene and Jia, while Kai and him stay behind.

 

He notices Jia sadness and tells her what he thought he told her, "Hey, you are very Coward little girl", she points to him but he chuckles.

 

"I don't know, I think we both are" Nathan laughed which made Jia smile a bit, they both didn't the HEAV as Nathan and Kai fly off to set the HEAV on Kong.

 

Nathan flips a bunch of switches and pushes multiple buttons.

 

"Well good luck big fella, you ready?" Nathan asked Kai who nodded, "Let's do it", Kai charges up the power core, making it more unstable.

 

One enough, they both run out the HEAV as fast as they can right before the HEAV and explodes and sends them back, Nathan is knocked out but Kai is still conscious.

 

Kong wakes up and shakes off the feeling as he watches Godzilla get thrown into a building by Mechagodzilla.

 

Kai drags Nathan towards Ilene, "Thanks for bring him", Jai waves at Kong who notices and smiles.

"Oh, hello there"

 

"Godzilla not enemy" Jia signed, but this make Kong angry and roar in disagreement, "THE HELL HE ISN'T!".

 

"That is enemy, it's true" Jia pointed to Mechagodzilla, Kong seem to agree but warily "Please, be careful, the both of you" Jia looked between Kai and Kong.

 

Kai went up to her and signed, "I promise you I will little sister", Jia moves forward and wraps her arms around his waist, he does the same but around her shoulders.

 

They let go and Kai goes up to his mother who instantly pulls him into an embrace, "You better come back in one piece, please" his mother begged him.

 

"I will" he puts his head on her shoulder and she buys her hand behind his head, keeping in close.

 

They separate and they all share a smile between as they watch Kong stand up and pop his arm back into its socket.

 

Kai runs toward, off of the rubble and grows back into his titan form, he grabs another metal antenna that had somehow found its way next to him.

 

 

Kong and Kai slowly creep up on the Mech as it was about to fire its beam into Godzillas mouth, "Finally, I have you at death's door" the mech spoke, but Kong jumps on its back and pulls its head back, right before it killed Godzilla.

 

Godzilla watches in shock and disbelief at Kong saving him, "He saved me?", Kong struggles to hold onto the Mech but it slapped off by its tail.

 

The mech turns its attention to Kong now, "YOU FILTHY APE WILL SUFFER THE SAME FATE AS HIM!!" Mechagodzilla readied up to punch Kong but is hit in the face by a metal antenna.

 

He turns right and sees a much smaller Kong, barely over a hundred feet, he chucked evilly, the aura it gives off seems familiar, but also not from this world.

 

It's Ghidorah

 

Kai realizes this and his eyes widen, "You're Ghidorah, aren't you?", The mech chuckles and responds, "Yes I am, and you seem to be an obstacle that I'll have to eliminate as well"

 

The mech nearly punches Kai but is by the arm by Godzilla, "No you won't!", Kai watches as His Dad gets up and grabs Mechagodzilla's other arm and together they slam it into a building.

 

Kong jumps up and kicks the mech in its face but missiles are sent at Godzilla, pushing him back and throwing Kong off of him then punching Godzilla.

 

Kong quickly grabs his axe and tries to slice the mech as it nearly stabs Godzilla with the tail, it works for a few moments before the Mech sends it tail to drill into Kong but he grabs it.

 

Kai runs up and hurls the antenna to hit Mechagodzilla's side, he sends the object lint blank, causing oil to leak out.

 

"ARRRUGHH, ILL KILL YOU!", "Many have said that, but they've all failed" Kai joked which made it angrier, he sends the tail to go through his chest but he leaps onto a building and electrically punches the Mech.

 

The electricity caused the mech to momentarily shut down but it regained control, Kai ran up and jumped while grabbing the Robot's arm and pulling it behind, making the creature trip onto the floor.

 

Kai uses this as a chance to climb on its back and rip off the largest fin, which made some oil leak onto him, he cuts the mech in the face, taking out one of the eyes.

 

He then throws the severed fin as if it was a boomerang but the mech slaps it out of the air, causing it to crash into a building.

 

The mech tries to lunch him but Kai back flips and uses his feet to kick the hand up, and throws a water tower right on its face, splashing water everywhere in the radius.

 

He jumps around as the Mech resorted to Melee weaponry, missing multiple times while Kai slashed and slashed until Kai slips up and the Mech punches him down the street.

 

Kai groaning gets up and thinks, he saw how the Mech was shut down for a few seconds because of his electricity, maybe I can sever the connection to the computer or something?

 

He sees a giant hole in the mountain, must be where the Mech came from, he runs down the street and jumps into the pyramid building.

 

As he jumps in he changes into his human form at the same time, he apparently scared some people as 3 people stood there.

 

Two teenagers, a boy and girl, and a grown man

 

"Aren't you-" The Man said in shock.

 

"Yeah yeah Son of Kong, I know, look I'm trying to help you guys, what you up to?"

 

"We"re trying to shut down the Mech, hasn't been going so great" The girl told him.

 

He rushes to the computer and sees that the computer is locked, must've failed to try and find the password.

 

He notices that they all already seem shut dejected as they're out of solutions, the guy pulls out whiskey.

 

"We tried to take down those Apex bastards but I think this is as far as we go so, bottoms up, I was hoping to die with adults but okay" The guy said as he readied to drink.

 

The other teenage boy seem to start coming to a realization, "If you've never had a drink before kid now's the time" The older man told him.

 

"Drink, Drink!" The other teen boy realized as he took the whiskey and outed it all over the inside of the computer.

 

Kai catches onto this and places his hand on top, charging up his electric powers then backing up, "That's your solution? I gotta die here with you and sober?!" The guy yelled.

 

But no time wasted as the console exploded and malfunctioned as sparks were sent flying.

 

They four all turned around and watches as the Mech malfunctioned and Godzilla gets up and sent his Atomic Breath at Kong's Axe, charging it up.

 

Kong starts to dismantle the Mech limb by limb, the four of them watch as smiles creep up their faces and they cheer in victory.

 

"YES!! YES!"

 

"YEAH!"

 

"KICK ITS ASS DAD!"

 

Kong chops off one arm, then the other, the chest, then the tail and right leg, Kong rises his axe up and roars and Mechagodzilla roars back at him.

 

"DIE!!!"

 

"I ALWAYS COME BACK!"

 

Kong slams his axe on the Mech's head, but throws it to the side and jumps into and wrios the Head right off the body.

 

The Mech leaks oil and the red eyes disappear as it fully shuts down, for good.

 

He throws the head to the side as he leans up against a building in exhaustion.

 

The four all sigh in relief as the nightmare had finally ended, Kai turns back to the three.

 

"You guys need a lift out of here" Kai points to the destroyed city.

 

"We'll find our own way, and thanks for your help" The girl shook his hand as he did to hers.

 

"I'm Madison, that's Josh, and he's Bernie" the guys all waved as he did back.

 

"Well I think you guys already know who I am so it was nice meeting you, even it was brief" He joked.

 

They all nodded and exited the facility, he watches as he turns back and jumps off while transforming into his Titan form.

 

He walks through the city as he views the damage, in the meantime he would help out with finding people that were trapped by rubble.

 

During his search, he had passed by the disabled and dismantled Mech.

 

The creature that inhabited it, had been the one that destroyed his home, his yes flash anger for a brief moment but calm.

 

And he comes to the fact that the creature is now dead, but can it come back, who knows only time will tell.

 

A few hours pass by as he walks into a relief center in which hundred or thousands of people congregated for aid.

 

He shrinks down, in front of everyone, which causes them to freak out and back up away from him a bit.

 

After passing by dozens if not hundreds of civilians, he eventually sees Madison, Josh, and Bernie with another unknown man to Kai.

 

"Oh I'm, Dad, this is Kai, he helped us as well" Madison told her Dad as she dragged him over to Kai.

 

Kai struggled to say his words a bit, only just regaining his energy back, "Um, hello sir, you must be Director Russell"

 

"Yeah, and I already know who you are kid, I've know about you for a while, thanks for help around here" The Russell man told him sincerely as they shook hands.

 

Kai consciously rose an eyebrow, he's known about me for a while?, Kai decides to shake the thought out of his head.

 

"Thank you, it's my pleasure to help out around here, anything else I can do?"

 

"We've got this under control, don't worry"

 

Kai decides to nod, Madison and Josh decide to pull him to the side to discuss a few things.

 

"So you really lived on Skull Island, what was it like?" Josh has asked him, his accent very thick.

 

"It was certainly an experience, I'll miss it though"

 

"Hey, I don't know you that well, but you'll manage through it, you seem to be a strong so I believe in you" The taller girl she told him as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

 

He looks up into her eyes, he slightly smiles, but he's not sure if she's right, "Thanks bye, I'm not sure if that's really true about me, but thank you"

 

He looks down and sighs but is caught by suprised as he hears Godzilla's roar which had everyone below shook and scared.

 

He pushes Josh and Madison behind him towards the other adults, he carefully transforms into his Titan form, to avoid hurting anyone.

 

Kai moved carefully across the people below and stood in front of them, ready to protect them.

 

Unknown to his knowledge, the people behind him look at him in shock as the creature solely protecting them only.

 

Kong rises to his feet and picks up his Axe, ready for battle, Godzilla walks up to Kong in acknowledgment.

 

The two seem to be conversing with one another.

 

"I told you, I'll never bow to you!" Kong growled, but Godzilla still kept a stoic face.

 

"You have heart Ape, how about you stay below and I stay up here?" Godzilla asked.

 

Kong seemed to agree and dropped his Axe, "I agree"

 

"But if I see you up here again, I will not hesitate to kill you, also, your Son is a good one, don't lose him" Godzilla told him in which Kong nodded.

 

Godzilla turned back around and began walking back into the water and fully submerges himself.

 

For the time being, Godzilla and Kong now have seem to have made peace with each other, but it's unknown how long it will last for.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ever since the battle that had concluded with both Godzilla and Kong making a truce and going their separate ways.

 

The Media seems to declare Kai as a new protector of Humanity due to his actions during the Hong Kong Incident.

 

Multiple footages from helicopters were captured of him defending and saving people from rubble and from the battle.

 

Many people were tying to get into contact with him seeing how he's also human, while others were still skeptical of what his true intentions were.

 

Even if he does save people, they're not sold exactly on what his endgame could be.

 

But that doesn't matter a single thing to Kai, as all he wants to do is protector the world, generally and humanity also.

 

Some time has passed since Hong Kong, and Monarch has set up a monitoring station in the Hollow Earth to observe Kong.

 

At the same time, Kai has gotten close with Madison and Josh, even though if they all talked for a few minutes there was a connection.

 

They exchanged numbers to communicate, Kai hadn't exactly had much interaction with people his age so his ability to have this was incredible to him.

 

Kong and Kai land on the ground close by the station and they turn back and see Jia, Ilene, and Nathan watching them with smiles.

 

They smile back and sign home at Jia who smiles at the two, happy that they've found a home again.

 

Together they both swing from multiple vines that are fit for them.

 

They have gotten used to living in this new world now, and they’re here to stay.

 

Kong lands on the ground as Kai lands right in his right shoulder, together, they both beat their chests and roared together.

Chapter 8: Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

[The Pyramids of Egypt are shown as the ground starts to cave in and nearby camels run in fear and panicking as the ground falls in on its self]

 

"For Centuries, there was Harmony, The Titans were the Guardians of Nature"

 

[A voice spoke as a giant gorilla hand breaches out of the hole with mechanical enhancements, Godzilla dorsal plates are shown out of the water, another scene shows Godzilla slices bridges with his new pink dorsals as the camera pans underwater and shows his glowing pink eyes]

 

"And the Great Apes, became the Protectors of Humanity, then came Kai"

 

[Kong is in the Hollow Earth jumping into the ground, then transitions to him injured as he reaches his finger to to Jia, who places her hand on his finger, then Kai is shown fighting off a unknown monster in the city of Rome, but he appears to be winning]

 

[Jia and Kai appear together with Kai in his human form, they're in a room but look uneasy as flakes start to appear and the clock turns into from 13:13 to spikes, a chaotic scene shows Godzilla pulsing and a battle in a city, then finally two pairs of glowing eyes, Jia wakes up in a cold sweat and tells Ilene that's something is wrong with her and Kai]

 

"We've discovered a signal, they can feel it, Kong, Godzilla, they can feel it to, something is coming, something even they're afraid of"

 

[Jia is laying on the ground uneasily, then Kai is walking through the Hollow Earth looking worried, Kong is on the surface and sees a shadow and turns around and the thing pisses him off, Godzilla is stomping back into the water but his entire body is glowing blue]

 

"Feel like going for a ride?" Ilene ask Trapper

 

"I thought you'd never ask" Trapper joked.

 

[Ilene and Trapper as they're inside a facility]

 

"Just try not to swallow your tongue" Trapper told Bernie who was sitting next to him.

 

"What?" Bernie asked Trapper who just smiles and winks at him.

 

"OH MY GOD!"

 

[They're on the surface world near a Hollow Earth Entrance that opens up a whirlpool, both Kong and Kai jump in as Kai dived in as they pass through the vortex]

 

[Kong is running through the Hollow Earth with a new type of HEAV right behind him, he's then in a misty environment with Kai as they watch a large looming shadow turn into a small orange ape that looks scared]

 

"Is that a Mini Kong? Bernie gasped at seeing the Orange ape.

 

"Nah, I say more like a Mini Me" Kai said smugly.

 

[The little Ape beats his chest in excitement]

 

"Oh my god" Ilene says in shock and disbelief.

 

"That's not just a signal, that's a call for war" Trapper explained.

 

[Trapper press his hands against a wall that pulses blue, Ilene looks up in surprise, the camera then shows a giant hand print on the side of a mountain, one that doesn't belong to Kong]

 

[The scene changes and shows the orange ape leading Kong and Kai to a place with other apes, Kong and Kai look behind them as other apes look in fear, a few others are beating the ground as an large orangutan like ape lands on the ground and roars at the two]

 

[Kong tries to slash at the creature but it blocks it than slashes Kong's hand with the end of the whip, making him roar in pain, then Kai appears out of nowhere and kicks at its side but is picked up by the leg and slammed onto the ground]

 

"What is that?"

 

[Transitions to a mountain of lava start to unveil whatever's behind it, Kong is holding a face of fear, the lava stops flowing down and in the darkness a pair of  blue and silver eyes shine, Kong picks up his axe as a beam of ice is fired right at him]

 

"Kong and Kai can't stop this on their own"

 

"They won't be alone"

 

[The camera changes as watches the ground as it begins to shine pink, then Godzilla bust of the ground in his evolved form with Kong having his B.E.A.S.T Glove, and Kai with his eyes shinning a yellowish white as electricity is surging on both arms, they're all running]

 

[A wave is getting turned into a ice, a view from the top of Rio de Janeiro is shown with the Christ Redeemer Statue nearby, Kai is absorbing energy and redirects it as his bio electricity, over by the water everything is getting frozen and the city getting destroyed, Ilene, Bernie, and a native Iwi women back up in fear]

 

"The last time those two met up, it was almost the end of Kong" Bernie said.

 

"They don't have to like each other, they just have to work together" Trapper told.

 

"Now I've seen everything"

 

"Oh this is far from everything" Kai joked.

 

[Kong is rising out of the ground in Egypt, Godzilla fires his pink atomic breath at Kong who tries to avoid it by hiding behind the pyramids, they both stare at each other, Skar King is roaring at people on the beach, Kong appears and punches Skar King, Skar King's tooth flies out his mouth and onto a street]

 

[Godzilla is in France as he's attacked by the French military but releases a nuclear pulse, The native Hollow Earth people bow their heads as Jia is in front of a falling glowing object, the little orange ape Suko throws a rock at one of Skar King's minions, Kai is in the sky above Rio and his eye shine white as lets out an electric beam at an unknown enemy]

 

"We've made some minor augmentations"

 

"Oh"

 

[The B.E.A.S.T Glove is applied to Kong's injured arm, Skar King wraps his whip around the top half of a building and hurls it at Kong who is across the city, Kong readies up and punches through the building, turning it into rubble, Godzilla and Kong are in Egypt roaring at the sky together]

2008

 

An alarm is blaring at a scientific facility in an undisclosed location.

 

Two scientist, an elder Japanese Man and a middle aged English Woman are rushing through the facility.

 

"Sensei, will we make it in time?" English Woman asked the Older man.

 

"I don't know, they said something went wrong with the process" The Japanese man answered for her.

 

They arrive at a room which seems to be the main room of the building and they see a few people they recognize.

 

An American couple, a young Chinese woman, an older Japanese Man close in age with the other man, and a lone American woman holding something in her and with her back turned to the shining window.

 

"Ms Andrews, is he ok?"

 

The other that are their have faces of worried and wonder, hoping that everything went well.

 

"Doctor Serizawa Doctor Graham, say hi to Kai, my adopted son" the Andrews Woman said to the old Japanese Man as she turned her body to the other, revealing a baby boy with his eyes closed.

 

Most of the people in their awed in adoration, others smiled at the sight of the baby.

 

Serizawa and the Garam looked in shock, Graham covered her mouth in shock.

 

They managed to birth the first Human-Titan Hybrid, of course no one outside of Monarch would know about this.

 

In the count of the fact that the public can't know about giant monsters.

 

"You wanna hold him" Andrews asked the old Japanese Man, who put his arms out as she planted the baby in them.

 

He looked down the baby and smiled at him, the baby feels the shift in temperature and opened his eyes at light brown eyes are revealed.

 

"Konnichowa, chiisana o tomodachi" Serizawa said to the baby, even thought he couldn't understand him, but the baby still looked at him with a smile.

 

"He's absolutely gorgeous Sensei" Graham told the man with a smile.

 

"Welcome to the parent life" The American man told Andrews who chuckled.

 

"He's going to become a wonderful boy, raised by a wonderful woman" The American woman responded.

 

"Thank you, Emma and Mark, can't wait to see what the future holds.

 

"Hiroshi, you seem awfully quiet, more than usual" the young Chinese Woman told the other Japanese man who had been quiet for the entire time.

 

"Umm, it's just, yeah, Ms. Chen, he's a marvelous baby, yeah" Hiroshi told Chen.

 

"Just wait until he finds out the world he's thrown into" Andrews said sadly as they all looked down to look the baby that looked giddy and brought a smile than lightened the room.

 

Serizawa took his index finger and put it down to caress the baby's face, but he grabbed on to it and held it with his two small hands.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

19 Years Later, 2027

 

 

 

Kai had been in his room doing his English homework while listening to Bernie's "Titan Truth Podcast" on his earbuds full blast.

 

He head started to go to regular school after the events of Hong Kong, he did most of sophomore, all of junior, and is on his senior year now.

 

It was difficult for him to adjust cause he was homeschooled on Skull Island for so long and no he lives in an entire different world.

 

Everyone was pretty fascinated by him and wanted to be his friend, but he can see right through their bullshit and knows they only want their statuses to go up, status of being friends with the Prince of Skull Island.

 

So Kai sticks by Jia and she does to with him, a name started with them, "The Skull Island Siblings", it wasn't the best but oh well.

 

Madison hooked him onto Bernie's podcast, even if it was a bit eccentric, Kai was fascinated by all his theories and took an interest in listening becoming a subscriber.

 

Bernie was talking about how Godzilla was chasing Scylla across most of the globe and how Scylla was preparing for something.

 

Babies, if challenged Godzilla for his role of Alpha on the surface world, speak of the devil an alert suddenly went off on Kai's tablet next to him.

 

Scylla left the United Kingdom and projections were showing her making landfall in Rome, Italy.

 

Kai gasped a bit but quiet so his mom couldn't hear him, she was still awake and he had to sneak out to intercept Scylla.

 

By making his bed and putting things under the cover to make it look like he was in bed, but he really wasn't.

 

He peered through the door in his room and sees his mom on the phone with someone, probably the Hampton woman.

 

He carefully made his way through the door and out the window, but not before making the floor creak a bit and making Ilene look over but not making much of it.

 

He rushes through the trees, and makes it over to the Hollow Earth entry point that's a couple of minutes away from their house.

 

For the surface, you had to open it using electricity to run through and open up as a whirlpool.

 

He didn't have a device to make the water runs whirlpool, but he had something, he uses his electric powers to make the electricity run through the devices.

 

The portal opens up but he knows they're alerted so he quickly jumps through and shrinks the electricity to close it back up.

 

During the years, Kai had gained some new abilities, absorption and manipulation, they come in very useful for him.

 

Passing by the vortex, he enters the Hollow Earth and makes his way to the nearest exit that leads to Italy.

 

Some creatures look at him in fascination but he doesn't have much time to worry about that.

 

He finds the entry to Italy. Wasting no time, he jumps in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kai is launched out and onto the mountains just outside of Rome, the sun is bright and Kai covers his face a bit, peering his head up over the mountain, he sees a large crustacean red figure out in the middle of the city.

 

Scylla

 

He uses his bio-electricity to launch him into the sky and push him over towards where Scylla is rampaging.

 

"Hey, over here!" Kai yelled out to where Scylla is, she seemed unpleasant of his arrival.

 

"Uugghh, why are you here? I want a real challenge" Scylla said annoyed at the arrival of the small ape.

 

Even though he'd had grown tremendously over the last few years, he was still dwarfed by many of the Titans.

 

"You want a challenge? You got it!" Kai yelled as he rushed Scylla and electrically slammed the top of her head, pushing her body to the ground below.

 

"Okay then, guess you can fight" Scylla spoke as she used the claw closest to Kai to slash him.

 

But he leans his upper body back enough to the point where it doesn't touch him, but she uses another leg to knock him off his legs.

 

She tries to pierce him through his stomach, but he rolls over and quickly gets up and pulls Scylla legs but she pulls and throws him hundreds of feet away.

 

When he's in the ground, she rushes him but looks confused now, Kai looks at his hands and doesn't see his hand.

 

I can go invisible?, Kai internally screamed, but recomposes himself and punches Scylla on her underbelly, sending her into the sky.

 

She comes back crashing down groaning, "Uggh, I hate him", she turns around and sees him standing, but another much larger figure is behind Kai.

 

Godzilla

 

He roars at her, Kai turns around and sees him to, not much surprise since he was following her for some time.

 

"SCYLLA!"

 

Both Godzilla and Kai run at Scylla full speed, Godzilla elbows her in the face, and Kai uppercuts her.

 

Godzilla grabs one of her legs and tosses her across Rome, sending her crashing into a building.

 

Kai launches himself over where Scylla is, and throws her over to where Godzilla is, at the same time Godzilla jumps up.

 

And lands right in Scylla, she tries to block her tentacles around his face to block his atomic breath, she also wraps her legs around his head.

 

But Godzilla unleashes his atomic breath into her head, and Kai with his bio-electricity, causing her entire body to explode and green goo going all over them.

 

Godzilla roars victoriously, and Kai roars as well while putting his fist up to the sky.

 

Godzilla stops roaring and looks at Kai puzzling, "Aren't you suppose to be with that other ape?"  Godzilla questions Kai.

 

Kai stumbles out a response, "Umm, yeah, but I came over here to stop her, and well she's stopped" Kai pointed out to Scylla's remains.

 

"Hmmm, well you better get back home before your father finds out about this"

 

"Umm, I think he’ll probably know already" Kai scratches the back of Kai's head as a few helicopters watch them from a distance.

 

"Well, you better get going” Godzilla said as he ruffled the top of Kai's head and smiled at him as he begins walking over to the Colosseum and lays down and curls up inside of it like a cat.

 

Kai chuckled at this and imagined him as a big cat, a big atomic cat, he shakes his head and turns around to head back to the portal.

 

He makes his way back to the portal and enters back into the Hollow Earth, he feels accomplished with himself.

 

But he knows it's only a matter of time before his Mom finds out about his little mission, and his new ability as well.

 

"Wonder what this means?" Kai said out loud as he tried out his new power.

 

"So where did you go?" A low rumbling voice asked him, but Kai already knows who it is.

 

Kai turns around slowly and looks up and see his father, who is given him a questioning look but an annoyed one as well.

 

"I, came to find you.. wh-why else would I come down here for" Kai nervously laughed, but Kong could see right through him.

 

"You know I know when you're lying right, so what were you doing up there?" Kong asked with his tone getting louder as he had his hands on his hips looking at Kai disapprovingly.

 

Kai sighed, having no choice but to tell the truth, "A titan was attacking a city so I went over there" he told his father as he fiddled with his fingers nervously.

 

"And where you supposed to go up there?", "n-no" Kai said as he looked down, "so why did you?"

 

"Does it really matter, I stopped the Titan", "You can't do something like that on your own!"

 

Kai kept shutting, knowing if he told his Dad that Godzilla was there to he wouldn't hear the end of it ever.

 

"I'm sorry, I won't do it again", "That won't save you, you're grounded, you won't go nowhere besides home and that school of yours"

 

Kai gaped at this, "What why?!", "Cause I said so, now go back home!" Kong ordered him as he pointed to the portal.

 

Kai decides to shut his mouth and walk back to the whirlpool exit, his father hadn't been in the best mood, he's been trying to find others of their kind so Kai isn't alone when he dies.

 

It's been making him more agitated as time passes, and Kai can't really blame him for it.

 

Kai travels through the portal back to the surface, It's still night outside but there sees some people looking at him from balcony's and on the beach, shining lights on him.

 

He transforms back into his human form and sees him mom walking out of a door that leads to the main facility.

 

She doesn't look to happy and walks towards him with a loot that Kai knows is not one he wants to bear.

 

"What were you thinking! You could've gotten hurt or worse! I can't believe you snuck out to Italy!"

 

Kai looked at the ground as his Mom continues to berate him, "Look nothing happens to me Mom! I'm fine, you're acting like I'm fragile, I can hold my own in fights"

 

"Okay, and what if one day the thing that's bigger than you manages to overpowers you, then what?"

 

Kai stays quiet, knowing his mom has a point there.

 

"I know you can, but you can't just go out and do that, there's always something that can be something to much for you to handle on your own" Ilene told him sincerely.

 

Kai nods and talks again, "But mom, I'm not gonna be small forever, one day I'll be on par with Dad"

 

"I understand, but your still grounded, nowhere but school and ho-", Kai cuts her off, "And Home, yeah Dad told me the same thing"

 

They start walking back to their house but Kai ask her something, "Why am I still getting grounded by you guys I'm 18 years old now"

 

Ilene looks at him, "It doesn’t matter your age, as long as you live under my roof you live by my rules"

 

"Look, I understand you wanna get out there, but your still young and you need to adjust to life here now” Ilene put a hand on his shoulder and pulled her into him and he leaned on her side.

 

"I know Mom, it's just still hard getting used to this" Kai said dejected.

 

"Well I know what will do for you, sleeping to help get it off your mind" Ilene said as she unlocked the front door with her keys.

 

They walk in and Kai heads to his room to jump on his bed and sleep, he had forgotten about his homework, but he'll do that later.

 

His eyelids fall over, and sleep takes over everything for him.

 

Hours past by, and he gets up and ready to go to school but no before listening to a news report on the TV about the Rome incident with his mother on their as well.

 

“With some critics calling out Monarch for the billions in taxpayer dollars going to Hollow Earth and classified technologies, like the mysterious Project Powerhouse”

 

“Well here to discuss. Monarch’s own Dr. Ilene Andrews. Let’s start with Godzilla and Kai, they stopped the attack in Rome but Godzilla’s still in the city, should we be worried? And is Kai working with Monarch or doing this out of his own interest?

 

“It’s clear to us now that Godzilla is a Titan who protects us from other malicious Titan threats. And as for my son, he’s not being sent out there by Monarch or me forcefully to defend the planet, his intentions are just like Godzilla’s. To protect us”

 

Kai has a slight smile on screen “Thanks Mom”, he turns off the TV and enters a car with Jia, which arrives at the school in short time.

 

The school he goes to is the Monarch K-12 Base School, where Kids who parents work for Monarch attended.

 

It was through Kindergarten all the way through 12th Grade, you see the same people over and over and over.

 

They had uniform here, which Kai hated, he had a white button up and wore beige pants along with it.

 

But he doesn’t give it much care and heads towards his class, he had to take Probability and Statistics mid day, and since he's finished most classes he had a bunch of free time.

 

So he and Jia walk together to Jia's class to drop her off, they arrive at the door but stop for one last conversation.

 

"Have a good day, I'll see you later" Kai signed to her but she slowly hugs him, seemingly not in the best mood.

 

Hey, you ok?" Kai asked her, "I'm fine, don't worry, I'll see you later" Jia signed back as she walked into her Class.

 

As Kai walks by, he can hear some people talking about the fight that went down in Rome, nearly praising him, but one particular group insulting him.

 

He goes up to this group and confronts them, "If you have something to say to me, say it to me know" Kai said calmly, but they seem shook, not wanting problems.

 

"Okay, that's what I thought" Kai said as he walked off.

 

Not to long later, Kai arrives to Probability and Statistics class, he dreaded this for the most part, but he needs the credits to graduate.

 

and hopefully he’ll get to go to NYU this winter.

The teacher is going off on Probability Range and Independent Events, boring to Kai as he places his head on his hand and taps his pencil against his notebook.

 

As he zones off, everything starts feeling like it's slowing down, weird snow particles begin to fall all around the class.

 

Kai leans up a bit, feeling uneasy by this, and sees  the clock turn from 13:13 to 3 spiking pyramids.

 

He then gets a bunch of visions of Godzilla, an unknown woman, Jia touching something, Lava falling, a pair of glowing eyes, and an unknown white figure in the sky.

 

He snaps out of this, and looks down and sees the same 3 pyramids on his notebook, he calls out to leave and left the class without hearing what the teacher had to say.

 

He leans back against the wall and puts his hand to his face, sighing at what he has just saw.

Chapter 10: Split

Kai had been sent to the office after his little exit from the classroom, he had been sitting while tapping his foot against the floor in boredom.

 

His mother had arrived at the school some time earlier to pick up Jia, Kai didn't know why through but he'll ask her later.

 

Ilene had been discussing with the teacher on the phone about what had happen, he could hear them through the walls perfectly.

 

"In the last 3 years he's been here, Kai's never had something like this, he's usually quiet in the back doing his work."

 

Kai rolled his eyes at the statement, all he did was walk out of the classroom for crying out loud, he didn't have an outburst.

 

"I'll discuss this with him later, thank you for telling me about this" Ilene told the teacher before.

 

"Is there anyone to pick him up?" The teacher asked her, Ilene paused but continued.

 

"Yeah, a friend of mine, he'll be there soon, have a good day" Ilene said before hanging up the phone, not waiting for a response.

 

He continues to sit and wait for his ride to come, as he's in his own world, he thinks back to the day he met his Dad, how could he ever forget?

 

2010

 

"Are you sure they're ready to meet each other, he's only 2 years old" A scientist told Ilene, but shook her head.

 

"Nothing bad is going to happen, Kong hasn't seen another member of his kind, if anything Kong will welcome him with open arms"

 

They both turn to look at the 2 year old boy playing with blocks, "We're still gonna monitor them of course, but besides that, let it all happen"

 

The scientist nodded their heads and walked off, Ilene went up to her adopted son and picked him up, making him a bit fussy due to his fun being disrupted.

 

"Kai, we're gonna meet someone, you're gonna love him" Ilene told the boy who started at her with a puppy dog look, his eyes and mouth mostly widened.

 

"Mama, toys" The 2 year old told her as he pointed to the toys, "We'll play with toys again, after this okay".

 

"Okay" The 2 year old said back, they walk out of the facility and into the outdoors of Skull Island.

 

After some walking, thunderous footsteps begins to fill the air, Kai looks around nervously, but Ilene reassures him and calls him done.

 

Kai starts to whimper quietly as Ilene shushes him and comforts him, just then, a large thunderous body peaked from the side of the mountain.

 

Ilene and Kai look up in awe, the creature doesn't seem to notice them at first until it looks down.

 

Kai looks at it curiously, as it kneeled down at went closer to them to get a much better view.

 

Kong, reached a finger out at Kai puts his hands out, grabbing onto the finger and rubbing his face against it, giggling.

 

Kong seems to laugh lowly as well, a smile on his face as he smiles at his son, who he has just met and who will never leave his sight.

 

Ilene looks shocked but happy, Kong knows they're related, and he couldn't be more happier.

 

No one had noticed, but a lone tear fell from the side of Kong's face.

 

2027

 

"Kai, Kai? Kai!" The teachers voice broke him out of his mind as he looked at her.

 

"Your ride is here, he's at the front entrance" he listens to what she said and left but not before saying bye to her.

 

He walked out to the front entrance and hears someone honking almost obnoxiously, he knows for a fact who that is.

 

The window is rolled down revealing a man with brown hair, blue yes, and a perfect smile, with an Australian accent on top of that.

 

"Hello there small fry" the man in the car told him, which made Kai playfully roll his eyes at him as he entered the passenger seat.

 

"Hey Trapper, guess Mom told you to get me" Kai asked, but Trapper chuckled at that and shook his head.

 

"That is right you little Ankle Biter, she wanted me to take you home because she couldn't cause she was with your sister" The man told him as they drove.

 

"So how was your classes?" The Australian Man asked as he glanced over to the Teen, he pauses a bit "It was fine, but I left for a bit".

 

The older man raises his eyebrows, "How come?" As he steered with one hand, "Something happened, and I just needed to be away from there."

 

"Well if you want to talk more bout it, your pal Trapper got ya, eh?" The man said as he leaned over and ruffled the boy's hair, he swatted his hand away and chuckled.

 

For the rest of the ride it had mostly been silent, Kai brought out his phone and opened a group chat and started texting.

 

Kai: What are y'all doing?

 

Madison: Monitoring Godzilla in Rome for the time being.

 

Josh: And she dragged me along again 😒

 

Madison: You know you're happy I did  🤗

 

Kai: You guys are weird 😂

 

Josh: Well we're your weirdos

 

Madison: And don't you forget it or else 😈🔪

 

Kai: I'll pull up to Italy right now

 

Josh: 🫢👀

 

Kai chuckled a bit and put away his phone for the rest of the ride.

 

They arrived back at the house and Trapper drops him off but not before honking obnoxiously again to annoy Ilene.

 

"Hey Mom-", "Cut it, why did you leave class randomly?", Kai pauses and purses his lips "I just needed some air okay, I was lightheaded"

 

He starts walking but but Ilene puts puts an arm in front of him, "Do you need medicine or-", "No, I think I'll just lay down, see you later" he said as he went under her arm and entered the house.

 

He opened the door to his room and tossed everything aside and played on his bed, starting at the seeming entire letting his eye lids fall over.

 

As he's dreaming, he wakes up in a mysterious place in his Titan form, one that is unknown to him, looks around and sees fog all over but the environment has grass and rocks.

 

He walks sound a bit but starts getting a weird feeling, one of danger, turned slowly changes and so does the environment.

 

It changes to a dark, fiery, and evil place, he starts getting into his fight or flight response but freezes when he hears growling behind him.

 

He turns around and looks up to see a lanky figure with light blue eyes dementedly smiling down at him.

 

Kai tries to fight, but is stuck and looks down to see ice holding in place, "You're not escaping, you fail at everything, you disappoint your father, mother, even your sister, they don't love you" The figure laughed at him.

 

He then falls down and land son the ground, he looks up to see his father staring at him with anger and hatred, which made Kai shiver in fear

 

"You never listen to me, you always act untouchable you spoiled brat, I always break my back to keep you safe, and you repay me like this, at this point, I'd rather be the last of my kind then have you around" Kong seethed with his teeth showing and him growling.

 

Kai looks shocked and hurt by his father words, he tried grabbing his arm but is met by a backhand to the face by Kong, "Don't touch me you little shit" Kong said as he walked away.

 

Kai holds his cheek as tears run down but he looks up and sees a large figure but a blue light shines from its mouth, but it wasn't Godzilla, it was something else.

 

The figure then fired at Kai ad he blocks his face from the attack.

 

Kai jolts out of his sleep and holds his chest tightly, rapidly breathing as sweat runs down his face.

 

He stairs at the wall for a bit trying to regaining composure of himself once again.

 

He shakes his head and checks his digital clock and it says 8:23 am, luckily for Kai it was Saturday so he had nothing to worry about.

"So why didn't you tell me about this?" Ilene walked in with a picture on her phone of the three pyramids he drew.

 

"I didn't know, thought it didn't mean anything" he shrugged before Ilene placed a drawing of the same pyramid.

 

He inspected it, a bit surprised seeing the near identicalness between the drawing.

 

"Jia drew these at about the same time you did, it's the same frequency we've been receiving from Outpost One.”

 

"The one that you guys say that's been getting more and more stronger" Kai raised an eyebrow.

 

Ilene nodded before picking up a few things, "I'm gonna head out somewhere to ask a friend for a better picture of all this."

 

"You sure that he's going to be the right one to go to?"

 

Ilene opened the door of their house, "Hey, Bernie helped saved the world last time, maybe he can help us again" 

 

Kai sat there thinking, Bernie was the one who figured out everything behind Apex and Mechagodzilla.

 

Unfortunately for him Monarch never did confirm that he did play a key role, but maybe now he can.

 

"Good luck", Ilene smiled before closing the door.

 

As he's sitting by the kitchen counter, he receives an alert from his tablet showing Godzilla’s vitals increasing drastically.

 

He flips through and watches a live feed of the King of the Monsters walking through Rome and heading out to sea.

 

But he was just resting, what the hell happened?

 

Meanwhile in the Ancient City, Godzilla has his sights set for the sea. Someone he thought he locked away for good seems to be coming back.

 

He knows he doesn’t have much time and has to act fast now before he can’t make a move, he sees a helicopter buzzing very close to his head and in annoyance roars at it.

 

“BACK OFF!”

He attempts to try and contact his mother, but begins a presence approaching soon, his father.

 

Oh, that’s why probably 

 

He rushes out of the chair and crosses path with Jia as they run towards the Monarch facility by the Hollow Earth Entrance.

 

"Dad's coming" Kai told Jia as they ran by, she gives him a wth look, "No shit Sherlock" she signed but it made him chuckle a bit.

 

They reach one of the balcony's that oversee the area and look over to see Kong groaning in pain and laying against the side mountain.

 

They look to their side and see their mother coming up to them, but Jia signs to her

 

"He's hurt" Jia signed as they all looked over to Kong and see his right upper Canine tooth infected.

 

They watch as Kong is injected with sedatives so he doesn't move around when they remove the tooth from his mouth.

 

They see Trapper drop down from a craft above and secure something around the tooth, then climbing back up, as the craft flies up fast and yank out the tooth but not before Kong roars in pain.

 

Ilene decides to head downstairs to get a much better view of Kong, but she doesn't see his new tooth get inserted into his mouth.

 

The new tooth is a fully metallic one, but it had just as much power or even more than the original one did.

 

Both siblings watch as Kong licks the tooth around and get use to it, he doesn't seem happy with it though.

 

"Dad, it looks good on you, it's probably weird for you to have it but it makes you look even cooler than before" Kai complied his father, which boosted his confidence a bit.

 

Kong smiled at him a bit, "Thanks Ki, I appreciate it" Kong said as he still fiddled with his new tooth.

 

"Kai, I need to come down here too!" Kai looked over to see his Mom and Bernie waiting for him.

 

"I'll be back" Kai signed before hugging Jia and entering the facility.

"Please don't take this the wrong way, but I can say that your research library has many glaring omissions. I had to call in a few favors from my Discord chat, they were not-" Bernie rambled before Ilene cut him off.

 

"Bernie do you have something?" Ilene asked, Kai consigned "Yeah do you"

 

"Yes I've got something, I do have something. Whatever signal you guys are picking up okay, we have seen similar patterns repeating over time. And each spike corresponds with a specific Titan event" 

 

"So it's not just a fluke we're experiencing?" Kai ask Bernie nods fast, "Exactly, can you hold this for me please, thank you so much" Bernie hands his case towards Kai who takes it in his arms without a chance to respond.

 

"Okay, check this out. See this? King Ghidorah, huh? First encounter with Godzilla. Discovery of Skull Island". All these spikes in readings always happen during something involving the Titans.

 

Kai starts to put it together as he listens to Bernie, we're on the verge of another Titan attack.

 

"All right so what you're saying is that these signals aren't just random patterns?" Ilene asked as she looked over his notes.

 

"Yes it seems that way, yes"

 

"And Godzilla's picking up on it" she responded back, a bit skeptical.

 

"Oh, I can do you one better. Now look, I've looked at points of similarities in each wave form and I compelled them to that pattern-"

 

Kai put his hand to his forehead as he looked at the wave patterns.

 

"Bernie please spit it out!" Kai said a bit exhausted.

 

"It's a distress call! It's a distress call, a psychic energy SOS. Now if you and your sister are seeing these symbols, then something down there is calling for help" 

 

Kai looked at the conspiracy theorist in confusion, a Titan is calling for help or something else?

The three of them along with Trapper all went to Director Hampton to show them Bernie's discovery.

 

"Regular soundwaves they can't propagate this far without decay. This? This is something that we have never encountered. And it's getting stronger" Ilene told Hampton as she played out everything from the drawings, and signal readings.

 

"You got a working theory?" Director Hampton asked.

 

"Yeah telepathic alien language" Bernie but in as he was opening a bag of chips.

 

"It's some sort of distress signal" Ilene interrupted again.

 

"Signal? From What?" The pilot Mikael asked the doctor, "Or from who"

 

"We're not sure if it's either a human or Titan, but I'm willing to bet on a Titan" Kai told the director with some hesitant as he leaned on Trapper who has his arm wrapped around the teen's shoulders.

 

"Well whatever it is, is this why Godzilla's on the move?" Trapper asked his college as he looked between her and her son.

Hearing the mention of Godzilla, Kai looks to the side and sees a monitor showing the alpha titan traveling through the Mediterranean Sea.

 

Before dipping beneath the waves and vanishing out of sight of the cameras following him, but projections show him heading towards France most likely.

 

"We can't say for sure. But it seems that way" Ilene told the Titan Vet. Godzilla willing to go down to Hollow Earth for a single Titan is something out of the ordinary.

 

"Well, we have to figure this out fast. The wolves are already at our door" Hampton looked between the both Andrews.

 

Kai looked towards his mom with a questionable look, but she responds to both him and Trapper before they could ask.

 

"The government has been looking for an excuse to take over Hollow Earth operations" Kai nodded, the government wanting to interfere and make something sanctioned. When has that ever gone bad?

 

"And the corporations are licking their chops" Hampton continued on for Dr. Andrews.

 

"Yeah, because who wants to be rich and get rid of all the monsters, I mean that be terrible right?" Mikael said sarcastically.

 

"Walter Simmons, Apex" Kai pointed to the pilot who did the same back.

 

"We better find the source before D.C. gets wind of this" Ilene told the director with a sense of urgency, Hampton sighed before authorizing.

 

"Okay, I'm giving you full operational oversight. Take a small team, Mikael, make it fast and don't let anyone die. Kai, I want you to follow your father to see if you can find the signal elsewhere, need more people to cover grounds"

 

"Yes Director"

 

"We’ll be in and out of there before nightfall" Mikael rose up as he would begin to prep the HEAV.

 

"You feel like going for a ride?" Ilene asked Trapper playfully, "I thought you never ask" Trapper smirked as he and Kai followed her.

 

"Wait does that mean I'm ungrounded" Kai smiled big.

 

Ilene just sighed

Kai put on a green jumpsuit like the rest of them, not before feeling a tap on his shoulder. 

 

Jia walked up to  him and tapped him on the shoulder, "What happened yesterday?"

 

Kai feigned confusion, "What are you talking about, nothing happened"

 

"Did you see things, like weird images?", Kai decides to come clean, "Mom told me you're seeing them too"

 

"I'm gonna try to ask to go with you them" Jia told her brother.

 

Kai gave his little sister a look, "Me and mom can name countless reasons why you can't go down there"

 

"Something is calling me, calling us. I need to know to,

 

"Good luck trying to convince her, took me a while for me"

 

"I thought grounded you", "Well she unground me because I'm looking for the source" Kai shrugged and so did Jia as she left the balcony to get ready for their travel.

 

Kai, Jia, Ilene, and Trapper all walked down a hallway towards a HEAV with their jumpsuits on, with Bernie following them closely behind.

 

"You should let him come, it's the least we can do for him after everything" Kai elbowed his Mom.

 

"I'll think about it with him, good luck and please come-"

 

"Come back in one piece, you know I will" Kai said as he hugged her, then Jia, then Trapper.

 

"See you out there big brother"

 

"Stay safe out there kiddo!" Trapper saluted jokingly.

 

"Bye Kai!" Bernie waved away before he talked to Ilene to convince her to take him to Hollow Earth.

 

Kai walks towards the mountain and jumping off and landing in the beach in his Titan form, but not before he hears his father's voice.

 

"Uh, uh, you're not going nowhere buddy, you're still grounded" Kong pointed to him, Kai rolls his eyes but smirks.

 

"I knew you'd say that. Even though Mom ungrounded me, I'm gonna say please until you do" Kai said, as he started goin off ima rant of dozens of please, before one final yell of please got Kong to finally crack.

 

"ALRIGHT! fine, you can go" Kong said annoyed, which made Kai pump his fist up in the air, he lays back against the mountain in triumph.

 

Kong has decided to take a little nap for the time being, regaining his energy.

 

They both wished for the others to get ready to leave as well, the watch as the portal opens up and Kong yawns from his nap.

 

Kong and Kai walk towards the portal then jumping in but Kai dives like he's jumping into a pool.

 

They pass by the vortex and see the many colors, but eventually pass into the Hollow Earth, both Apes land on their feet and both start running towards together, heading to Kong's home.

 

 

"Hey Kai?" Kong asked as he turned to look at his son, "Yes Dad?"

 

"Did you know there something named after you, a Kaiger counter" Kong said, which made Kai groan at the Dad joke.

 

He regrets telling him about Dad jokes, the worst mistake he thinks he ever did, they both pass through the Hollow Earth and see the regular.

 

Some Hollow Earth Lizards, Warbats, Leafwings, nothing Kai hadn't already seen in the past, but they eventually arrive back at Kong's lair.

Meanwhile on the surface world in the country of France. A squad of French Monarch Soldiers were and tour to inspect a nuclear facility just outside the town of Montagnac.

 

Godzilla had only risen out of the sea just minutes prior to the team arriving at a hill that overlooks the facility.

 

They look over the giant footprints that lead to the facility and see only the remains burning down, they begin evacuating.

 

But at the core, Godzilla is busy absorbing the nuclear energy. Causing his back to glow bright blue.

 

He looks over and sees multiple jets flying towards him, as a warning he bellows.

 

"I'm not in the mood right now for games, so back down"

 

The jets begin to fire at the colossal beast, the heat and force not doing anything but be a mere annoyance to the king.

 

He slashes one of the sky, and reaches above to crush another one. As they all begin to circle him and send a barrage of missiles at him.

 

He released a nuclear pulse and destroys all the remaining jets.

 

He roars to the sky in rage

 

"WHEN WILL YOU HUMANS EVER LEARN?!"

They both swing on the mountain side and land on the ground, but they both hear a noise coming from somewhere below, Kong decides to grab his Axe hits in case there's trouble.

 

"What could be down there?", "Only one way to find out" Kong said as he jumped down and used the Axe to slow down his speed with Kai jumping on his back for safety.

 

They land down in a pitch black location, but the axe begins to light up blue, which made blue and pink light illuminate from cristallines.

 

"Once again, this place gets weirder" Kai remarked, "Son, look at this" Kong told Kai as he looked in the same direction as his father.

 

They both see a pile to skeletons of their species, Kai gasped at this but Kong just looks sadden by this, as he feels his hope for finding other like them even lower than before.

 

But Kai's eyes turn white for a brief moment and walks back, as if something had just exited him, but he doesn't tell Kong about it, not thinking much.

 

But they turn their heads to a sound from behind the waterfall, they move through the waterfall and notice a new type of location in the Hollow Earth.

 

It's much more rocky, with fog covering as far as their eyes can see.

 

"So this has been down here while I've lived here?" Kong questioned, but a large shadow appears in the fog, Kong pushes Kai behind him to protect him, but Kai gets ready to fight as well.

 

Electrical begins to sizzle through his fist as the shadow gets closer to closer to them.

 

But the shadow shrinks and shrinks before a small orange furred ape appears from the fog, it's just smaller than Kai by a few meters.

 

Kong and Kai stare at the ape in shock as the orange ape looks at them scared, Kong decides to make himself look less threatening.

 

Kai relaxes himself as the electricity vanishes from his hands.

"Hey it's okay, look, I'm not gonna hurt you, look" Kong said as he placed the axe on the ground and extended a hand out to the ape

 

The ape slowly extended a hand out to Kong to touch his hand, but suddenly, the orange ape reacts violently and bites Kong's finger.

 

Which made him retract his finger, but Kai laughed at that and held his chest as Kong glared at him, "Nice try, thinking I would trust you" The orange ape seethed as he ran off.

 

But Kong and Kai pursue him for a short period until a figure lands behind them too, another ape that has one eye chuckles at them, "This will be easy".

 

Three other apes appear out of nowhere, Two were holding down Kong while one held down Kai, "Get the hell off of me!"

 

Kong picks up a rock and bashes it against one of the apes face, Kai pulses himself up with disoriented the Ape and knocked it back.

 

Kai engages in combat with the Ape, dodging a punch thrown at him but it kicked in the chest, but Kai launches up and slams the Ape hard into the solid ground.

 

He uses his bio-electricity to beat in the creatures chest but is knocked back by a stick to stomach, he then readies up and knocks the creatures out with one electrical punch.

 

He turns to see the orange ape attacking his Dad's face but suddenly, Kong uses the orange ape as nunchucks against the remaining apes.

 

He throws the little ape at the face of one of them, Kai lost his breath witnessing that by laughing to much, and loses track of time to see an Ape running away but Kong throws a rock at it, landing right on it's head

 

They both turn over and see the orange ape hiding, "Get out of there" Kong said he picked up the young ape by it's shoulder then throwing it to the ground and roaring at it, intimating the animal and making it scared.

 

King picks up a bone from a ground, "Who are they?", "Why would I tell you?!" the orange ape said defensively, "I'm not playing games with you!" Kong yelled which made him flinch.

 

"Okay, okay, I'll show you, come on"  the Ape said as he lead the way for the two of them.

 

Kai wonders what was that that happened in the cave to him.

A yell is heard as Kai lands on the ground of something metal, he sees his hands are now human hands and voices fill the air.

 

He looks around to see where he's at, he sees that there's a bunch of monitors and he stands up and sees his regular clothes.

 

"KAI!?"

Chapter 11: Hail to the Queen

Kai snapped his neck in the direction in which the sound had come from, suddenly everything started to change around him.

 

The metal exterior and monitors started to seemingly, turn into flakes before disappearing all together, as if blown away by wind.

 

The area is now's a grassy place, like the Hollow Earth, he sees three large pyramids to his right but in front do him is what surprises him beyond belief.

 

A golden winged figure lands in front of him, with large wings that has eyes as both ends of the wings, blue eyes staring at him, but they're filled with warmth.

 

He tilts his head curiously, he puts his hand up but it's start to electrify but no on command, the creature leans its head down closer to him as he nearly lays his hand right on the Titan's head.

The morning after Godzilla’s arrival in France, he spent the night stomping across the rest of Europe and into the Iberian Peninsula. Specifically Spain.

 

The city, Cadiz he is currently passing through as it is the last stretch of land before reaching the Atlantic Ocean.

 

The military circled around him but made no move to attack him, knowing what happen only a few hours prior.

 

He has now undergone a new form, an Energized form kind of similar looking to the thermo form during the Mass Awakening.

 

“Ugh, this won’t be enough to go against all of them, especially her. Guess there’s one last option”

 

He decides before diving into the ocean, his spines poking out but also disappearing beneath the water.

 

His tajectory shows him heading towards the Artic Ocean, more specially to a lair of an already present Titan there.

 

Titanus Tiamat

Kai is awoken to his father shaking him quite some, he must've been their a while as the axe had been implanted into the ground as the little ape was sitting on a rock looking bored out of his mind

 

"You ok? You were just standing still and your eyes were white?" His Dad had told as he began to pick up his axe again.

 

"Yeah, I think I was just zoning off a bit, I'm good" Kai waves off his father's wordiness as he began to walk behind him.

 

"Well can we leave now? We've been here for the longest" the little orange ape stood up as he rolled his eyes, but Kong quickly shut his attitude down.

 

"Hey you, keep quiet and lead the way, we don't have time for your attitude" Kong pointed a warning figure as the little ape who stuck his tongue out in retaliation at the adult ape.

 

Kai sighed a bit, realizing their bickering is going to take a toll on this trip, who knows here they're going or how long it's going to take to get there.

 

"Ok you two, relax" Kai told both apes who grunted at one another before making their away through the lands.

 

This was a bit exciting for Kai to say the least, he's never gotten the chance yet to explore the Hollow Earth like this.

 

Sure he's been in journeys with his father sometimes, when he's hunting, or even just wanting to run and feel free.

 

This was going to be an entirely new experience for him, and he was ready for it and whatever would come along with it was well.

 

They had left the more gravel like area of the subterranean realm in the Hollow Earth, they were in a much more greener and lusher environment.

 

The Hollow Earth never ceases to not amaze Kai, the Surface World was one thing, but nothing could be like the Hollow Earth.

 

The three ape Titans were journeying through a valley, but something seems to catch Kai's attention, it was a flower.

 

Of course not an ordinary one, its would seemingly spiral up on but having a blue bioluminescence, courtesy of that of Hollow Earth energy.

 

Kai plucked it out of the ground in curiosity and brought it closer to his face, it glowed blue rapidly before the blue and turned into a light shade of yellow.

 

The same color as his powers.

 

"Dad, Dad come look at this" Kai told his father as Kong kneeled down on one leg to see closer to what his son was trying to show him.

 

He saw the flower for himself as was enthralled by it as well, "Fascinating, seems like the life seems to be drawn towards you as well"

 

Kai stared at the flower a bit but it begins to pulse rapidly before shining a white light in Kai's face, he drops the flower as he tries to shield his face from any attack.

Kai was back in the same place as he was last time, only this time he was in his Titan form, but now the same creature was back again in the air but he could see it much more clearer as it is now closer to him.

 

The glowing creature made a familiar chirping noise, one that shows benevolence.

 

Kai know starts to recognize this magnificent creature, who could, she aided in Godzilla defending the world only just a few years ago.

 

She played a vital role in the death of Ghidorah, which unfortunately also led to her dying in the process as well, but right now she's in front of Kai as he looks in awe.

 

 

 

The Queen of the Monsters, Mothra

 

The Queen looks down as she chuckles as his face when he recognizes her "You shouldn't keep your mouth open like that you'll catch flies" she joked.

 

Kai snapped out and fixed himself off, dusting off his non existent clothes, "I'm sorry it's just, it's really you" he fanboyed for a bit.

 

"I've gotten that a lot, and I've been meaning to talk to you for some time now"

 

Kai looks confused, why would she want to talk to him, "How come me? What can I contribute to you, you're the queen and I'm just a half ape half human"

 

Mothra frowned at that, "You shouldn't view yourself like that, it's unhealthy, I've seen what you did with the fake Godzilla, you're destined for greatness"

 

"Anyways, you don't know it yet, but your going to really step up as a Titan and show what you can really do to defend the Earth"

 

Kai look perplexed, he only helped save the world once, while Godzilla and Mothra have saved it countless times, and he's just a kid in a big world, a Hollow world.

 

"I'm just a kid, what can I really do-", "Believe me, it's doesn't matter your age or where you come from, what matters is the impact you make"

Kai looks on the ground and sees the flower the had been holding, it had returned back to its primal bioluminescence blue color.

 

He feels his father nudge him on the back of his head to continue to walk forward, he jogs up a bit before walking alongside the lanky orange ape who still had a stank face on.

 

"What up with you dude?" Kai asked the lanky orange ape, who was only a little bit shorter than Kai.

"You two are what's up, I'm stuck with you two"  The ape said pissed off as he crossed his arms and didn't even look at the direction of Kai.

 

"Well in all honesty, if you and your crew didn't attack us we wouldn't be here" Kai said straightforward.

 

"Not like I wanted to do it willingly" The orange ape mumbled under his breath, but Kai could faintly hear him speak.

 

"What?", "Nothing, just drop it" The little ape said as he walked a little bit faster ahead to make some space in between the two of them.

 

Kai shook his head to himself, in disappointment in trying to understand him even a little bit.

 

A little while later, the three apes all reached the end of the valley as they see a flock of Warbats high up into the sky, hunting what seems to be much more smaller creatures.

 

Kong places his axe over his shoulder and looked down at the youngest ape, "Go on, no one's stopping you" Kong said as a smart ass.

 

The orange ape leaves the end of the cavern as he begins to guide them through the realm once again.

 

Kai sees a waterfall and runs straight towards it, wishing to feel refreshed, he entered as he feels the water run through his fur and hair as he washes his face with a smile.

 

Kong chuckles at his son's silly behavior, this also gets the orange ape to get a little chuckle out of himself.

 

Kai shakes all the water off of him until he's fully dry, they start walking again as they make their way through a massive tree forest.

 

Kai pushes all the leaves from hitting his face, while Kong just pushes everything out of his way with just his body.

 

"Look over here" the orange ape pointed out to a crystal clear lake up ahead that looked absolutely gorgeous and stunning.

 

Kai smiles big at the beauty while Kong tries to keep a straight face, not trying to let the beauty stop him from his true goals of finding the other apes.

 

The middle ape looks around, feeling an odd presence nearby but can't exactly pinpoint where it's coming from.

 

"Jump in! Come on the water's nice!" The orange ape urged Kong as he played with the water, Kong reluctantly agrees.

 

"Fine, but only for a little bit, then we continue" Kong said as he entered the water and washed the top of his head.

 

Kai looks behind his Dad and sees something moving in the water heading towards Kong, he guess his father knows as well as he stops and turns around to see the disturbance.

 

"Dad, behind you"

 

A very long fanged, blue and yellow aquatic Titan rises out of the water and attacks Kong, instinctively, Kai went invisible due to his emotions taking over his thinking but had regained his composure and revealed himself again to both the creature and his father.

 

Kai quickly jumps in as he send bolts towards the creature, holing to try and stop it in its path, but it doesn't do much due to the Titan's massive size.

 

The creature coils around his father and Kai and drags them both underwater, but not long after they resurface and begin to cut it into pieces, killing the creature.

 

"Hey where's little dude at?" Kai asked as he noticed the orange ape's missing presence, "he tricked us, but he couldn't gone far, I think I see him"

 

Kong throws his axe at a certain distance which causes the orange ape to trip over it, as he lays their and wallows in his own defeat.

 

The other two apes arrive back and begin to grab a piece of the deceased aquatic titan for dinner tonight.

 

"You tried and failed, now keep walking" Kong told the youngest ape sternly as he tripped over a rock "Stupid plan, stupid rock" he mumbled disgruntled.

 

Kai and Kong look at each other and shook their heads.

Later that day, both Kong and Kai were feasting on their own pieces of the aquatic titan, while the youngest ape sat on his own away from them.

 

The youngest ape seemed to be hungry as he looked at a piece warily.

 

Kai noticed this and nudges his father's arm, who looked down at him with a raised eye brow, he gestured over to the other ape that was away from them.

 

Kong sighs annoyed as he rips off a piece and tries to hand it over to the ape, "Here, eat it", the orange ape is unsure and backs away a bit.

 

Kong decides to throw it as he sees the ape not wanting to take it from him, "Take it, go crazy" Kong said as he ate another piece of food.

 

"Trust me, it'll be fine, just eat it here, no one's stopping you" Kai said to the ape calmly as he took the piece and went crazy over it, almost if he hasn't eaten in a while.

 

Kai looks concerned at his behavior as the ape absolutely devoured the meat, "Hey, when was the last time you ate?"

 

"We don't get to eat much often", Kai nods and tries to think of something, "Well, when was the last time you had a full meal?"

 

The ape tries to think of an answer, "A few weeks", Kai pauses as this before handing over remains of his portion.

 

"Here, you need it more than me anyways" Kai said as he wanted his arm out with the chunk in his hand to try and pass it.

 

The other ape smiled at his kindness and accepts the other and devouring the chuck as well, "You're a kind person, I don't get to see a lot of that were I come from"

 

Kai smiled, "Then I guess I'm your first one then" he chuckled, "Listen, with all that happened back there, let's leave it behind and start fresh"

 

The other ape looks taken aback, he was willingly to look past all that still, from the attack and the trickery and deception.

 

"I'm Kai, what's your name?” Kai asked as he put his hand on the ape's shoulder.

 

"Suko, my name's Suko"

 

Kong watched the interaction between both young apes and smiles, he's kinda starting to warm up to the other ape.

Chapter 12: Ice to Meet You

Summary:

Hey guys! It’s been a while, sorry I haven’t been back in some time but I’m pushing myself to finish and you will get the ending you deserve.

Back above in the Artic, a submarine was sent out to scout and spot Godzilla and Tiamat and see what they would do once Godzilla arrived.

 

But Tiamat wasn’t present yet at all, she wasn’t outside waiting for the kings inevitable arrival.

 

But she would know that he would be on his way towards her to challenge her for her home, wouldn’t she?

 

They were just outside Tiamat’s domain but she didn’t seem to mind them being sound her home either.

 

It was quiet for a moment

 

Before Godzilla’s atomic breath came from the side and aimed right at the home of Tiamat.

 

Which eventually alerted the serpent titan, making her exit her home and roar at Godzilla in anger and challenge.

 

“GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY HOME!” Tiamat said angrily. 

 

“JUST LEAVE AND I’LL YOU LIVE!” Godzilla said annoyed as they both charged at each other and collided.

 

“NO!”

 

But Tiamat seems to be gaining the upper hand as she begins to coil around the lizard titan, who attempts to release himself.

 

“You shouldn’t have tried to come here and act you own this place-“ Tiamat is cut off as Godzilla bites into her body and rips out a piece of flesh.

 

She screams in pain and snaps her body and turns to him in anger, who also roars at her in annoyance.

 

She opens her jaws and attempts to swallow Godzilla’s head, but a rumble hum is heard and a muffled “Oh well then” is heard.

 

Godzilla atomic breath pierced through the water and moves crazily before stopping, Tiamat’s remains begin to surface and so does Godzilla.

 

Who has one of Tiamat’s arm in his mouth before tossing it aside and heading into her domain, well his now.

 

The reason to why he choose Tiamat’s home for energy consumption is because it is in the direct path of solar winds, making this area one of the largest stockpiles of energy on Earth.

 

The reasons why she came too, but he needs it for a greater purpose than she was gonna need it for.

After their pit stop and meal, the three ape Titans began their trip again to the mysterious location that Suko comes from.

 

Overtime, Kai and Suko have started to become close to each other, they shared some things about their lives, of course more limited in Suko's side.

 

"So wait, you and your Dad come from the realm above this place?" Suko asked Kai, as they were locked in conversation.

 

"The Surface World, yeah, it's an interesting place I'll tell you that" Kai said as he cringed a bit from everything that's happened above.

 

"And is it true that little apes are the rulers above?"

 

"Well we were, I don't think we ever were" Kai shrugged, but Suko is lost a bit know, he's not human, is he?

 

"Wait are you also human? How is that possible?” Suko responded being absolutely lost by this revelation, Kai scratched the back of his head, trying to think of an answer.

 

"It's quite the long story, I'll tell you at some point soon though" Kai nudge Suko's shoulder, but Suko looks down a bit, knowing in the back of his mind he might not make it through this.

 

"That's if I do live to hear it" Suko told the slightly taller ape, "You haven't really told us yet how your home is like" Kai told.

 

Suko started off a bit, trying to build up the courage, "It's hot, dark, and not really something comfortable"

 

Suko lowered, moving away from Kai as his stomach started to churn, Kai was worried for Suko's safety, what's happening to him?

 

Kai slowed his walking speed to be on par with his Dad, who has been behind the two and keeping guard of them and their safety.

 

Kai yanked on Kong's left hand to gain his attention, Kong gazed down towards his son with a raised eyebrow.

 

"Dad, I'm worried about him, he seems a bit scared of where we're going" Kai told him as he glanced between Kong and Suko, the latter who was much further ahead of the other two.

 

Kong looked forward towards the orange ape and seen his body manage, he seems a little shaken and worried.

 

"There's nothing to worry about, nothing will get passed me" Kong reassured him, "But I can keep him safe to though, I'll be right by yo-"

 

"No Kai, as your father it is my job to never let anything happen to you, I don't know what I would do without you, I need you" Kong told him both sternly and trembled.

 

Kai stood his ground, "Why can't you or Mom believe in me, I've always been by your side, with Camazotz, Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and when we lost our home, and I'm still gonna be by your side against whatever we'll face next, I'm not some helpless little boy, I need you to let me go"

 

Kong slammed his axe into the ground, and placed his left hand on his hip and pointed his right index finger at Kai, "Kai, the issue with you is you're becoming reckless, you don't think about of what will happen around you or to the people you love, do you know how much time worries me when you go out and fight other Titans way bigger than you, you need to start thinking of the bigger picture"

 

Suko had now stopped in his tracks, listening awkwardly to the argument behind him, "You don’t think I’m aware the risks I’m taking every time I go out there? I know every time there’s a chance I might not come back to you guys, but I’m not gonna let that stop me. I know what I have to do, and there’s people waiting on me to help them, and I won’t just leave them" Kai told his father angrily.

 

Kong paused on what he said, understanding where his son is coming from, but he remembers something "Kai, remember the story I told you about Grandma and Grandpa, when I was born, the first thing I saw was war. They were fighting the crawlers to keep me safe, your Grandmother sealed me in a cave away from the battle, when I had gotten out. I found them both dead, I was so angry but filled with a promise, to protect whatever I loved, and that was you and Jia that filled that void, before you I hated the world, I thought it was a cold and evil place, but you guys showed me more to life than what I thought. I felt like I had a place in this world, and that was being your father, without you. I have no purpose in life, I just want to protect you, my little Prince" Kong said as a tear fell from his face.

 

Kai choked up bit, tears building up a bit, he hadn't know how many years it's been since his father had called him that, Kai reached his hands up and cupped Kong's face, "Dad, I swear, no matter what, I'll never let you be lonely, you've lived too much of your life already living like that, won't let you live like that", Kong pulled him into a hug and let out a single sob.

 

Suko looked warmly at them, silently wishing he could have something like himself with his own father, even thought he knows it would never happen.

 

After letting their feelings release, they also started to walk again and make their way, it had mostly been silent.

 

But Kong and Kai were extra close each other after their little heart to heart moment in which they let all of their feelings out.

 

Kai held onto Kong's finger, making sure he's sticks by him, they all done across a makeshift bridge made from the bones of a colossal titan, who even knows what exactly this Titan was during its life.

 

They carefully crossed over the bridge and onto the other side, which was more rocky and filled with lava.

Meanwhile, in another part of the Hollow Earth, Jia, Trapper, Bernie, and Ilene were at a living Hollow Earth Civilization full of the Iwi.

 

Turns out they're actually all still alive, they been surviving down here in the Hollow earth, they were being show a story/prophecy that Ilene was reading out.

 

"It says that, in the beginning Hollow Earth lived in Harmony with the Surface World, the Titans were the Gaurdians of Nature, and the Great Apes became the Protectors of Humanity"

 

They looked behind them and saw a carved out image of multiple apes bowing down to another ape with a whip made from bones with the crystal at the end of it and a large reptilian Titan.

 

"But two great evils threatened the peace, a powerful and ruthless-ape and a cranium-reptant, both desperate to conquer the Surface World led their tribe to war against the one they called, the monster who ate a star"

 

They saw another figure in the shape of the one creature they know of, "Godzilla" Trapper said.

 

"There's more, the war with the apes and crawlers nearly destroyed Godzilla, but after a great battle, he imprisoned the apes in a fiery realm in Hollow Earth, their false king remains obsessed with reaching the surface, the Iwi calls them, The Skar King and Zevik"

 

Another tablet shows both the image of an ape and a skullcrawler next to one another, with dominion over everything.

A three apes walk pass a ton of crystals emitting different kinds of lights, it is incredibly dark where they are with only the have and crystals illuminating the scenery.

 

There is an incline ahead and Suko shows off what's below, what's ahead shows dozen if not hundreds of apes below.

 

 

 

Both Kong and Kai eye widen at the sight ahead of them, the apes seem to be doing hard labor and they all seem miserable.

 

They move forwards to get a better view of the sight, Kai walks past the decapitated heads of three apes stuck on sticks, he nearly vomits at the sight.

 

Kai feels his skin burning a bit from the heat, but doesn't say if it, these apes have been through much worse for god knows how long for.

 

Kai looks and sees two apes passing over a rock, the one that revels the rock accidentally drops the rock and eye widens at his mistake and is kicked to the ground by another ape.

 

"Weak!" The guard ape spitted towards the ape on the ground.

 

Kai felt anger surging through his body, electricity starts to cackle on his left arm and he moves forward to intervene.

 

But Kong puts his arm in front of Kai, blocking him from potentially causing a scene.

 

The ape continues to get punished for not working properly, Kong moves forward to access the issue but is grabbed on the arm by Suko.

 

"Don't, it won't be good for you" Suko warned Kong, but in response, Kong yanks his arm out of Suko's grasp.

 

Kong leans down and extends his hand to the ape on the ground who looks up at him, Kong reassures him as the ape grabs his hand and is helped up.

 

The guard ape watches this and is filled with anger towards this new arrival and gets into Kong's face, "Oh really? You think you can come over here and ignore what you're supposed to do? GET BACK TO WORK RIGHT THIS-"  PUNCH!

 

 

 

Kong, loses his composure at the disrespect and one punches the ape, instantly knocking him out.

 

Kai covers his mouth, trying to be serious and not laughs at what he saw, the other apes around them look in shock at what they saw, no one has ever been brave enough to do that, and this new ape clearly is.

 

"Who ever is running all of this! I command you reveal yourself!" Kong challenged the alpha of this place, Suko is frightened, knowing there's no going back now after what Kong just did.

 

Two roars echo out across the place, one sounding like an ape, the other a large reptile, but Kai and Kong know exactly what type of creature reptile sound belongs to.

 

At the top of a mountain, two figures move upfront for everyone to see, a large but lanky red ape with a whip on its shoulder, and a skullcrawler but much way bigger than the average one, with spikes turning down its back with white and black tips.

 

Both Kai and Kong stared them down and they both jumped forward and landed in front of the apes.

 

Everyone seemed to be freighted beyond belief by them as every ape there bowed down to them to avoid punishment for disrespecting them.

 

The skull crawler stayed back a bit, while the red ape moved closer to Kong observing him and trying to gain a read on him, he stopped right in front of Kong and stuck a finger in his mouth to observe the inside.

 

Seeing his metal tooth, the ape laughed at him while pointing "Look, he doesn't even have a real tooth!" the ape laughed, others started to join but the majority did it out of fear, but the crawler laughed as well genuinely, Suko joined as well but only half-heartedly.

 

"I don't know why you're laughing with your hairline that starts at the back of your head" Kai roasted the red ape, who was angered at the disrespect, but felt more anger towards Suko, realizing that the young ape was the one that brought these apes here and didn't say anything of it to him.

 

"YOU BROUGHT THEM HERE!? I MIGHT AS WELL PUNISH YOU!!" The red ape screamed at the poor ape who hid his face, a male elderly ape came between the two of them, protecting Suko.

 

"Please, your highness Skar King, he didn't mean to do that, he's only a child" the elderly ape pleased with the false king to spare the young ape.

 

Skar King seemed to listen, but changes his view and gazes towards Kong, they have a stare off momentarily but Skar just smirks at Kong, then cruelly kicks Suko's caregiver into the lava, killing him instantly.

 

Kai gasped in shock and anger, "No, no, no, GNARLED!" Suko cried out in anguish and grief, Kong and Kai angrily roar at him as Skar King does so back.

 

Skar starts to spin his whip around as Kai builds up electricity in his hand, other apes start to chant around them as they begin to battle.

 

The edge of the whip nearly hits them, but Kong grabs it but Skar King pulls on the whip, cutting Kong's hand.

 

But the two apes instantly rush the tyrant ruler, they lock in blows, Kong is cut on his back and tries to slice Skar but it kicked upwards and knocked off his feet.

 

Kai electrically punches Skar King, nearly sending him to the floor, Skar tries to wrap his whip around Kai, but Kai activates his invisibility.

 

Skar King is suprised but tries to anticipate Kai, a punch is landed at a certain place just below his waist, causing pain to spread through Skar.

 

He anticipates the next move as he grabs Kai's arms and spins him before throwing him to the ground, Kong sends a blow to his stomach but Skar jumps behind him and wraps the ship around Kong's throat, suffocating him.

Kai tries to help his father but is swept to the ground as he looks to see Zevik attacking him.

 

He quickly sends a back kick to the scaly titan, but it only seems to momentarily stop the creature in his tracks.

 

But Zevik smirks and grabs a rock to hurl at Kai, who back kicks it while electorally charging the rock, which struck back at the lizard titan, leaving a burn mark right in its chest.

 

Feeling the singing pain, Zevik charges angrily as he tails smacks the ape in his chest, who attempts to grab his tail. Zevik slashes his claws across the ape’s face as the small Titan attempts to release himself from the grip, but the tail quickly coils tighter around Kai and Zevik uses his momentum to throw Kai across the lair.

 

Rolling and tumbling, Kai sees a makeshift spear on the ground that would probably be used to mount another head on it.

 

Rising up, both Kai and Zevik charge at each other. But Kai swings the spear from his far right and strikes Zevik across his face.

 

Kong struggles a bit but  manages to throw Skar off of him and towards Zevik who had just been knocked over a few seconds prior, other apes try to intervene but Skar King stops them.

"Stay there, I have a better idea" Skar smirked evilly, Kong and Kai beat their chest and roar at Skar.

 

Who just stares and smiles at them, as well as a few other apes, Skar chuckles and brings the crystal part of the whip up.

 

“Let’s see how they handle themselves against her” Zevik said giddy, but out of malice.

 

Both apes are confused but look behind them as the lavafall is blocked by a massive rock, stopping the flow of lava and reveal a dark abyss side of the fall.

 

But suddenly, a pair of glowing blue eyes are revealed in the darkness, the creature growls at them, it moves forward as the ground starts to become covered in ice.

 

A massive white scaled creature with multiple blue and white spikes varying in size is revealed, the creature is secured with a collar kept around its neck, and a few in its feet.

 

Skar King points the crystal towards the father and son but the ice Titan refuses, "NOO! I WONT!"

 

Skar angrily points the crystal at the Titan, which harms it, reluctantly, the spikes begin to charge up as the creature builds up energy.

“I’m so sorry”

 

Kong and Kai try to carefully anticipate what will happen next, a beam of ice is blasted at them as they jump back.

 

Kong blocks the beam with his axe and Kai gets into a beam lock with the Titan, they both struggle for a bit but are overpowered.

 

Kong's arm is covered in ice as he receives frostbite, but Kai is entirely incased in ice in suspended animation, in the position he was blocking the beam.

 

"KAI!" Kong cried out at his son, who is now a statue of ice.

 

The Ice Titan begins to build up energy for another beam, but Kong hears Suko and looks towards him.

 

Suko is pointing to an exit out of the prison, "OVER HERE! QUICK! GET OUT!"

 

Kong quickly picks up Kai and rushes out as the beam nearly hits him, Kong runs off with Kai who was kept under his arm.

 

"KILL HIM!" Skar King commanded a few apes who started to chase Kong, Skar picks up Kong's axe and holds it up victoriously while roaring, Zevik joining him in doing so.

"Trapped within their subterranean realm, The Skar King harnessed a terrible power, the ancient Titan, Shimo"

 

A tablet shows Shimo, who is blasting her ice beam at an unknown enemy.

 

"He controls her with pain, her power covered the Earth in the last ice age, we brought Kong and Kai down here, they been looking for others like themselves going deep into Hollow Earth and getting closer to their prison, the Iwi must've known it was just a matter of time, and that's why they've been calling for help, and that's why Godzilla's changing" Ilene finished off.

 

"He's gearing up for World War lll" Trapper realized, "He barely survived last time, what's Godzilla gonna do on his own?" Bernie asked.

 

Ilene looks towards another tablet, "He won't be on his own, the Iwi believed that at the end of the world, one of their own will return, and awaken Mothra, Defender of the Iwi and Ancient Ally of Godzilla.

 

The tablet showed an Iwi person summoning Mothra and redirecting her.

 

"They believe that their savior will be, and Iwi from Skull Island" Ilene paused as the three adults looked at Jia.

 

"That seems a lot to put on one kid" Trapper said, "Wait there's something else as well" Ilene looked at one final tablet of stone.

 

"The Iwi believed that, alongside Mothra, at the end of the world, a young Great Ape will rise up and defend the world from The Skar King and Zevik and defeat Zevik and his army of crawlers, the ape would also hail from Skull Island" Ilene said in shock.

 

The stone depicts an ape in the sky with his arms spread out and electricity pulsing and surging.

 

"Kai" Bernie said in shock, Ilene is taken aback that Humanity's survival has now been thrown into the hands of her children.

Chapter 13: Unite

Kong runs off with Kai under his arm, the coldness is nearly unbearable from the ice invading him but he pushes through it as he resurfaces into the main Hollow Earth.

 

Behind him are a few apes from Skar King's clan, the Red Stripes and they have chase towards Kong as they exited the caverns below.

 

He set off a trap that would send a giant log down on them, fortunately for Kong, it hits one of them and crushes them against the wall.

 

He glances behind himself and sees on of the Red Stripes attempting to shank him, coming up to a vine and another trap below their feet.

 

Kong launches Kai into the air as he uses his remaining good arm to swing himself as the ape behind him tries to stab his back but falls into the trap but bellow, bellowing the whole way down.

 

Kong catches Kai under his and arm but tumbles a bit from the force, but quickly gets back on his feet and continues his path again.

 

He comes up on a cavern and begins to huff and tumble a bit from exhaustions as his feet started to drag behind him.

 

He knows off the next trap he's placed about and hope it would also play out in his favor like the last few had for him.

 

He comes up on a cliff ahead, but he won't be able to climb that great with Kai being stuck in ice and forcing to carry him.

 

He turns his body and sees the few remaining Res Stripes slowly creeping up towards him with their weapons.

 

Kong carefully waits as one of the apes, with the messed up eye nearly falls into the trap but realizes quickly at the last second.

 

"STOP! Look! Walk over it" the one eyed ape told the rest who all complied as well, Kong places Kai behind him.

 

Kong readies up to fight, knowing the odds are definitely against him, he will protect him and his boy till his very last breath.

 

"What the?" Kong looks above and sees the trap having been triggered, the one eye ape had been confused since no one and pushed the line.

 

Rock and sticks came tumbling down over the apes, crushing all of them, Kong looks above and to his surprise.

 

Suko appears from the top of the mountain, looking down at Kong, beating his chest and roaring victoriously.

 

Kong nearly passes out from exhaustion, which prompted Suko to rush down over to him.

 

"Your arm, does it hurt?" Suko asked worried as he sees Kong's messed up hand and arm, Kong winced a bit.

 

"I just don't feel anything in it, but I'm worried for him" Kong said as he looked behind and saw the frozen statue of Kai.

 

Suko looked sad for his friend, knowing he could meet the same fate as many other apes before him have as well.

 

"Help me up, I know someone who we can go to" Kong told Suko, in which the ape helped Kong up as Kong also help Kai under his arm.

 

Unbeknownst to them, one of the apes had survived the trap.

Meanwhile in the Artic, Godzilla was changing, he'd already know long ago about the upcoming threat of Skar King, Shimo, Zevik, the other apes, and crawlers.

 

After killing Tiamat right in the ocean, he took over her lair and absorbed both the energy and her dna to becoming something more powerful.

 

If he was facing this alone, he needed to evolve, but little did he know, he won't be facing this all on his own.

Back at the Hollow Earth Iwi Civilization, they all came aware of the arrival of a Titan or two, they opened up the barrier protecting the city to Kong and Suko, as well as a frozen Kai.

 

To the shock of the Monarch team, they watched as Suko has helped Kong balance himself while keeping Kai up as well.

 

"Is that a Mini Kong?" Bernie asked in shock as they saw the little orange ape hide away from the new people.

 

"How did they find this place?" Trapper asked, "He must've sensed Jia, wait is that Kai?, no no no, please down tell me" Ilene realized as he placed her hands to her head to shroud out the thought as she stared at the frozen figure of her son.

 

Ilene started to sob as she sees the state her son is in, Trapper embraces her in a hug and so does Jia, who is also silently in tears, Bernie places a hand on her shoulder to comfort her as well.

 

Kong's eyes roll to the back of his head as he dropped Kai involuntary as fell backwards as Suki tried to keep him upright by pulling on his arm.

 

Jia kneels down, while still in tears and waives to get Kong's attention, he sees her figure and extends his hand out, Jia lays her hand on Kong's finger as he signed it hers

 

"I lost home, and Kai" Kong signed sadly as he looked to his son and fell backwards, the humans looked down sadly at Kong's arm as well.

 

"That arm looks bad" Ilene said as she wiped her face, "It's worse than bad, it's frostbite, I better go take a look" Trapper said as he moved down to get a better view of Kong.

 

Suko runs off to check on the location of the other apes to see if they had followed them, all they could do is just stare at the frozen figure of Kai.

Inside his mind, Kai walks around a void, with nothing but his footsteps filling the place walks around him.

 

He was now trapped within himself, trying to find a way out, but he can't find the light, he doesn't know if he should keep going or not.

 

 

 

Starting to get frustrated, he charges up bio electricity and slams his fist into the ground.

 

Breaking through, he yells a she falls down, he collides with the ground, and looks up to see where he is at, a Monarch facility but it looks quite outdated to today's standards.

 

Walking through the facility, he reaches a room in which quite a few people are gathered around, he looks over them and sees in of them holding a baby in their arms.

 

He smiled a bit but loses it when grey flakes starts to fall, the walls are being covered in black vines and shadows but a voice fills the air, "Your time has come, let go" a distorted voice filled the air.

 

He quickly runs off, swinging the doors opened as he ran through the facility, somehow finding the main doors, he forced it open as he met with nothing below as he falls.

 

This time the ground is grassy, he looks up and sees Skull Island prior to the storm, he'd forgotten what it look like before but he knows this is nothing good.

 

Behind him, Skullcrawlers rush out but he kicks one upwards, he then grabs the tail of one and swings it around, knocking a few back and sending the one flying into a mountain side.

 

But he's overwhelmed as the crawlers continue to come and attack him in a never ending cycle of fighting.

 

"You can't fight forever, they will continue to come, and they won't stop until your dead"

 

The place then turns dark and rainy as the Titan Camazotz is now whacking him, Kai sends an electric punch to the Titan's chest.

 

But then Camazotz's minions starts to swarm around him, pecking at him from all sides, as he tries to electrocute them.

 

"You'll never be able to succeed on your own without help, you can't stand on your own"

 

He falls to the ground as they tackle him and pile on top of him, they soon vanish into thin air as he's now transported onto the ship prior to his father and Godzilla fighting.

 

"It doesn't matter if I can't fight forever or can't stand on my own, I'll fight for whatever I fight to! Show yourself!"Kai yelled out to the voice, the mysterious voice chuckled.

 

"Oh Kai, so naive and clueless, you can't fight alone, you can't face an army on your own, your weak, Dad isn't proud of you"

 

The voice starts to become more clearer, he turns around and sees himself, but the darkness in him manifested into something more scary.

 

He's then transported to the fiery part of Skar King's lair, as it is only him there.

 

One by one, every Titan he knows showed up, his Dad, Godzilla, Scylla, Camazotz, Mechagodzilla, Ghidorah, Skullcrawlers, Skar King, Shimo, and Zevik all manifested as they stared at Kai with hatred.

 

Kai gulped, "Oh Shit"

Over in Skar King's lair, the remaining see returned to inform his king of what happened.

 

"We were chasing him but rocks started to fall from above, the others died but good news, I found the portals to above" The one eyed ape said.

 

"Then the time has arrived, Zevik, command the crawlers to fall under your orders" Skar King told as he looked towards the alpha skullcrawler.

 

"Yes Skar" Zevik said as he let out a roar, not to long after, a quite number of crawlers appeared from the mountains above.

 

Skar King, Shimo, Zevik, the crawlers, and apes are initiating their invasion of the surface world.

 

While back in the Artic, Godzilla is now ready to exit the ice, he's now evolved into something more powerful.

 

He bust of the ice, he know has magenta translucent sharper dorsal plates, he's lighter in mass, but now has spikes on his elbows.

Back down in the Hollow Earth, Kong was in bit of pain but the humans were discussing on what to do with the arm.

 

Trapped had one idea, but it was a bit of a long shot for Ilene

 

"You can't be serious?" Ilene asked Trapper over the radio, "Oh I'm deadly serious, that prototype was almost finished when they pulled the funding" Trapper responded back serious.

 

"Alright well what are you still doing here?", "I love you too doc" Trapper finished playfully.

 

Ilene couldn't believe they were going through with this, "Project Powerhouse, what is that exactly?" Bernie asked the scientist.

 

"After Mechagodzilla, we realized that there were some threats that even Kong couldn't face, so, we started working on some minor augmentations" Ilene explained as she trailed off bit.

 

"Oh, wait what kind of augmentations?" Asked the conspiracy theorists.

 

"Making one of the strongest Titans even stronger didn't go over so well, so we got shut down, lucky for us, the prototype had already been transported to Hollow Earth for testing, it's sorted in the armory, at Outpost One"

 

The new weapon for Kong was one that will be a game changer for him, The B.E.A.S.T Glove which will help Kong with his damaged arm but also make his punches even more powerful and deadlier than before.

 

At first, it was a bit of trouble getting used to it, but he eventually liked it.

 

Kong seethes in discomfort as the glove is applied to his arm, the humans look determined that this would work in their favor.

 

"He's either gonna love it or he's gonna rip it off with his teeth" Trapper said as they looked up at Kong inspecting the glove.

 

Kong raises his fist in the air, and slams his fist into the ground, "HELL YEAH!"

 

"AAHH! I THINK HE LIKES IT!" Bernie said joyfully, as they other laughed in joy.

 

Kong looks between the glove and Kai, he could break the ice, but he knows one hit off this will shatter his entire body, killing him.

 

But they're interrupted as they hear a yell from Suko as he rushed back over to Kong and wanted him, "Skar King, he's coming, they're coming over here now!"

 

Kong signed to them on what the little ape was talking about, Ilene and the others soon realized "Skar King"

 

Jia signs up to Kong "You need to convince Godzilla to help you fight Skar King"

 

Ilene taps Jia's shoulder, "What did you tell him?" She signed to her daughter.

 

"I told him we needed help"

 

They watch as both Kong and Suko run off but towards their respected duties, "Where's he going?"

 

"Godzilla won't come here unless Kong brings him" Ilene told the Podcaster.

 

"Yeah well the last time those two meet up, it was almost the end of Kong" Bernie said.

 

"He's taking a hell of a risk, Kong invades his turf, it could start a war", "Yeah that's a suicide mission" Bernie told the Titan Vet.

 

As Kong and Suko were running together, they diverged off from each other, "Check where they are" Kong told Suko as he stopped following Kong.

 

"But if Kong draws Godzilla down here, they could make their stand in Hollow Earth and, there's a chance that, Godzilla could stop Skar King, Shimo, and Zevik from reaching the surface" Ilene told the two men.

 

"Well what about Kai? We can't do much for him" Trapper told the other two, as they looked over to the still frozen Kai.

 

"No, but he can, when he was born, we learned that Kai was much more powerful than we thought he would be. He’s always had these abilities but he hasn’t unlocked its full potential, at least not yet. He needs to intake a massive amount of energy in order to supercharge, but I don’t know how” Ilene said wiping her nose.

 

"The pyramids, maybe energy transference works the same as the psionic link the Iwi have" Bernie said determined.

”Then we better get to it” Trapper said over the radio.

 

The Iwi Queen laid a hand on Jia, telling her it's gonna work out.

Kai battled all the Titans one by one, he was much more acrobatic than these other Titans, even Skar King and his Dad.

 

He saw Godzilla's atomic breath be released, he hid behind Camazotz which struck the Titan, but not killing it.

 

He saw his father's axe be thrown at him, but dodges it by only just a hair, but he grabs it mid air and throws it towards Mechagodzilla's chest.

 

He sees Ghidorah try to land on him above, he turns invisible then strikes Ghidorah electrically, sending him flying into Shimo.

 

Zevik tries bite his face off but Kai sends a bolt of electricity into his mouth.

 

But Kai feels something wrap around his neck, Skar King's whip, he's carried off of the ground and thrown into Shimo's spiked tail.

 

Striking him in the face as he feels himself flying in the air and is impaled by Godzilla's dorsal plates stabbing his back.

 

Kong yanks him off and slams his entire body into the ground.

 

"Kai, no matter what, you'll always fail the world around you, you're supposed to be the future of Titans, the protector of humanity, and look at you, crumbling, trembling, dying"  The voice emphasizes the dying part.

Back with the Iwi, Jia is being prepared to summon Mothra, she begins to climb her way up a multitude of steps.

 

At the same time, energy is being drawn from the pyramids towards Kai to help him supercharge.

 

The Iwi as well as the Monarch adults all watch in anticipation as they watch the young girl make her climb up.

 

"We are absolutely certain that she can pull this off right, and that he’ll be fine?" Bernie asked worried about what would happen if it didn't.

 

"It's why Jia was called here, only an Iwi from Skull Island can awaken Mothra, and Mothra is the key to Godzilla protecting this place and it's pathways to the surface, and the only one who can free Kai and make him even stronger"

“And for Kai, it has to work”

 

But is seems to be unsuccessful so far as nothing seems to be happening.

 

Jia reaches the top of the pyramid, she extend her hand up in between the two pyramids, suddenly an orange/yellow glow began to appear.

 

Energy started to fizzle from Jia's hand, a figure starts to manifest out of the golden light, and a warble is heard to everyone, a familiar one.

 

Wings started to spread out and two yes were present on both end of the wings.

 

Mothra is reborn

 

 

 

Jia looks at the moth in awe and amazement at what she has just did, "Feels nice to be back after countless times"

 

Mothra looks to the side and sees Kai's frozen figure, she flies over and lands right in front of him.

”What is she doing?”

 

Telepathically, Mothra entered Kai's mind and viewed the inside of it.

Kai is being brutally beaten by all the Titans around him, he's still managed to hold his own despite the endless attacks.

 

He feels the singing pain from Godzilla's atomic breath lit him right in his back, leaving a burn mark there.

 

Kong's axe slices open his hip, causing massive amount of blood to pour out of him.

 

Mechagodzilla's proton scream hitting his face, Ghidorah's gravity beams hitting his chest Shimo's tail whacking him.

 

He tried to cover himself but it doesn't much to help him, he starts to become overstimulated as his entire body starts to glow yellow.

 

With a yell of pain and anger, he releases the built up energy in a massive electrical explosion.

 

 

 

All of the Titans around him vanishes due to the explosion, most likely evaporated as a result of it.

 

He's now left alone deep within the Hollow Earth, left with his own consciousness.

 

He feels drained out as he collapses and breaks own, energy still surging through his body.

 

He looks down at the floor, tears hitting it, but the place starts to shin yellow, but not from his powers.

 

He looks up and sees Mothra in all her glory, here to help him.

 

"It's about time that we met, we don't have much time, I'm helping you out of here"

 

"What if it's better I stay here, I wouldn't fail anyone or get in their way ever again"

 

"Kai, the world needs you now more than ever, your father needs you more than ever"

 

"He'd be better off without me, I'm no use to him, I'll just drag him down with me" Kai told the moth.

Back outside, they watch as Kai's eye begin to pulse faster and faster, they wonder what's going on in there.

 

"It's gonna work right?" Bernie asked the mother of the half human half Titan, hoping that he makes it out of this okay.

 

"It has to, it has to" Ilene repeated desperately , the eyes of Kai were pulsing rapidly fast now.

 

But suddenly, Kai's glowing eyes full disappeared, showing no more activity in him, Ilene shakes her head and covers mouth and falls to the floor, heartbroken.

"Kai, you have people waiting for you, we're all counting on you as well" Mothra told the young ape.

 

"I don't know if I'm the one they should"

 

Mothra paused for a bit, but something came up to her, "Kai, I see what you want, you want to feel accomplished, you want to show off what you can do but you're being held back by your feelings of failure, Kai, I promise you this, you are the strongest Titan that I've ever seen in my lifetime, you don't ever stop in the face of adversity, you're willing to put everyone before you, and right now, those people are in trouble, the world is on the line, you're stuck in your own mind, so, what are you gonna do?"

 

"?"

As Ilene is on the floor sobbing, a sound can be heard, a pulsing one.

 

The watch as Kai's eyes being to pulse again, the ice starts to crack from force, but his eyes start to turn white.

 

The pulsing starts to rapidly increase before stopping for a few seconds, then the ice explodes out and is sent everywhere.

 

Ice particles begin to fall as a pair of white eyes are shown and a figure moves forward.

 

Kai

 

 

 

The Iwi and Monarch Team and cheered and smiled, Kai was now at his full power, nothing would stand in his way.

 

Kai and Mothra locked eyes with each other, Jia made her way on to the top of Mothra's head, they nodded and started to make their make towards the Surface World using one of the Hollow Earth entry points.

 

Kai climbed his way up while Mothra flew, both made their way in at the exact same time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kong knew how dumb this idea was. Godzilla was already pissed off about Skar King and Zevik trying to take over the surface world.

 

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have any other choice than the one right now.

 

He climbs out of the hole and admires the strange structures that remind hm of the Iwi city back down in the Hollow Earth, but there are people around it climbing it.

 

Kong knew it was now or never at this point.

 

Even though he and Godzilla had a truce, it wasn't exactly a solid one, so he knows the weight of his actions after he does what he's going to do next.

 

Kong let out an alpha call to the King, who heard it all the way on the top of Gibraltar on the other side of the Mediterranean.

 

Godzilla who was climbing the mountain trying to sense the malice titans below and preparing for them, also heard Kong's call in Egypt.

 

A challenge

 

"Oh, you wanna go again, alright then" Godzilla gave an evil smirk before diving off the cliff and into the sea.

 

He couldn’t believe it.

 

The ape wanted to challenge him? HIM?! Out of all the time in the world he chooses now?

 

He already had Skar King and Zevik on his mind, but the ape also wants to fight now, the king couldn’t believe such a thing.

 

But Godzilla would never turn down a fight.

 

Minutes passed by, Kong can feel Godzilla getting closer and closer to him. The more closer, the more anger Kong can feel radiating off of the Titan.

 

He watched Godzilla leap out of the river and start running full speed towards him, he looks between the portal and Godzilla.

 

Kong could tell that Godzilla was absolutely pissed off by how he looked.

 

“Wait, we need to get down there. They need our help!” Kong attempts to convince the enraged king.

 

“I’LL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF” 

 

“WAIT!” Kong extended his hands out in a sort motion as Godzilla tackles him through the pyramid.

 

Sending Kong flying and slammed up against a much smaller pyramid, causing him to become a bit dazed.

This for sure wasn’t going according to plan.

 

He notices Godzilla attempting to rush him but quickly grabs a handful of sand and throws it in the alpha’s eyes, temporarily blinding him. Buying the ape enough time to get back on his feet.

 

But Godzilla quickly shakes the sand out of his eyes and pins Kong against another pyramid, grabbing hold of Kong and preforming a suplex on him.

 

Kong shakes his head as he feels the pounding headache go off, he quickly dodges out of the way and rises to his feet as Godzilla attempted to stomp on his head.

 

But uppercuts the evolved king with the B.E.A.S.T Glove as he ran to hit him, which sends Godzilla off his feet. Not expecting that to happen from either party.

 

The Ape quickly takes advantage of his moment and begins punching Godzilla over and over again with the glove until nearly knocking him out cold.

 

Kong grabs his tail and starts dragging the dazed king towards the portal, not noticing the hum and the pink glow of his dorsal spines.

 

Until he turns and sees Godzilla’s mouth and eyes shining pink and a growing smirk on his scaly face.

 

“Uh oh”

 

Godzilla unleashes his evolved atomic breath at the ape who quickly doves and runs behind a pyramid that gets sliced through like butter by the atomic breath.

 

Kong rolls over as the beam nearly cuts him, he loses sight of Godzilla as it all goes quiet.

 

But turns and see Godzilla rushing through the dust and successful tackling Kong into the ground and stomping on his chest like he had in Hong Kong three years ago.

 

“I let you live after you helped me, but now I’m ending this one and for all”

 

Both were unaware of Mothra and Kai arising from the portal not too far from where they stood at.

They exit the portal and see the chaos around them, the Great Pyramids of Giza had nearly all been smashed.

 

Both Mothra and Kai see Godzilla on top of Kong, ready to land a finishing blow.

 

At the same time, Mothra and Kai launched a counter against Godzilla.

 

Mothra used her god rays to blind Godzilla, and Kai used his enhanced bio electricity to knock Godzilla off of his father.

 

Mothra lands right behind the Sphinx and leans forward for Jia to climb down on top of it.

 

Godzilla gets up and moves closer to inspect Jia and Mothra, "Mothra, is that really you?"  Godzilla asked Mothra.

 

"Yes Godzilla, it's me" Mothra said a bit emotion, Kong gets up and doesn't waste time and pulls Kai into a hug.

 

"I thought I lost you" Kong voice was muffled as he hid his face in Kai's shoulder, Kai's shoulder starts to feel wet from the tears of Kong.

 

Both Godzilla and Mothra smiled at this, "Godzilla listen, you need to set aside your differences with Kong, you both have a common enemy that is a bigger threat than we could ever imagine, I trust him. I understand how you feel about his kind, but he didn’t play a role in that at all, he’s just like you, a protector of this world and right now it’s better that we have more people like us around. Keeping the balance”

 

"You’re right, Skar King is the bigger problem, and I’m gonna need all the help I can get, let’s do this" Godzilla told Mothra as he roared into the sky.

 

Kai looks and Jia and they both smile at each other, the others starts to roar as well into the sky.

 

 

 

Chapter 14: Battle De Janeiro

Back down in the Hollow Earth, the Monarch crew and Iwi were devising a plan to stall Skar King, Zevik, Shimo and their forces from reaching the portals.

 

There plan was to pull the two pyramids together to cause an anti-gravity shockwave to keep them away from reaching the Surface World, at least till the other Titans from above make their way down here and stop them.

 

However, they were starting to come short on time as they hear a deep roar coming from the other side of the barrier protecting the Iwi civilization.

 

The barrier burst open to the army of apes and lizards combined.

 

"Skar, up there" Zevik told him urgently.

 

Skar King looks up to see one of the portals, and turns his gaze over to the pyramids, seeing them getting closer together.

 

"They're trying to delay our time, no more"

 

Even though he doesn't know what they're exactly doing, he understands that the Iwi are attempting to stop his plans.

 

Skar gets on top of Shimo and points the crystal towards the pyramids, harming the frost Titan "FREEZE IT! NOW!"  the bald ape commanded after a few tries, Shimo freezes the space in between the crystals, halting them.

 

"We're not gonna make it, there's not enough time we need something to slow them down" Ilene said in a worried voice.

 

"Yeah well what else can we do?" Bernie asked before they all looked to see the HEAV flying by with a whole pack of Vertacines traveling behind it.

 

"IT'S VERTACINE MATING SEASON!" Trapper announced over the intercom as the Vertacines followed behind him.

 

Shimo tries to freeze them but the electricity between the creatures is too intense and much of an annoyance for the evil Titans.

 

The apes and crawlers all try to block their faces from the electrical attack but feel the singes of pain on their skins.

 

"YOUR CARRIAGE AWAITS!" Trapper said as he extended his arms out to the inside of the HEAV.

 

"I'M GONNA KISS YOU ON THE MOUTH!" Bernie said without hesitation as he, Ilene, the Iwi Queen, and one of the guards all hop into the HEAV.

 

Quickly flying await from the battle that's about to happen, suddenly.

 

Godzilla's roar echos through the other side of the portal, Skar King looks towards it.

 

And Zevik feels a shiver run through his body, as both tyrants recognize the roar. The one roar they hoped not to hear.

“No, not him” Zevik said worried.

 

A large ball of light exits the portal, crash landing quite a distance away, but big enough to cause a shockwave hitting the army.

 

Then, Godzilla, Kong, and Kai all jump out of the hole they made, running full speed towards the army of apes and crawlers.

 

The other three Titans, Skar King, Zevik, and Shimo all ran towards the other three running to them as well.

 

But what none of them had noticed, was that the ice between the two pyramids had in-fact broke apart, making the pyramids move closer to again.

 

As all six are running, Kong jumps on top of Godzilla and starts riding him, Kai uses his electric powers to propel himself into the air.

 

All six titans jump up into the air, roaring at the one opposite of them.

 

Just at that moment, a shockwave is released, causing the six Titans as well as the other apes and crawlers below to start floating due to the zero gravity now.

 

But Kai is able to blast Zevik with one of his enhanced electric strikes, sending the Alpha Skullcrawler flying off and into one of the apes.

 

Kai propels himself with his electric beams, at the same time he delivered blows and punches to many apes and crawlers that tried to attack him.

 

Three apes and crawlers all tried to rush him at one but he's released a pulse that causes electric beams to burst in every direction around him.

 

 

Hitting all of them and severely burning them, he sees Zevik rush in and tails smack him in the chest, knocking the wind out of Kai momentarily.

 

Kai looks to see Godzilla tail smacking multiple Great Apes, then crashing into Shimo before kicking her a great distance away.

 

Kong locks in battle with Skar King, while also at the same time try to retrieve his axe from the Tyrant, Kong blocks a swing from the axe with the glove.

 

But Skar wraps his whip around his arm and pull Kong towards him, kicking him in the face.

 

One of the apes tries to crush the HEAV, but Mothra suddenly comes in and captures the ape in a wad of silk.

 

Mothra flies around, the only one with an even advantage and starts webbing up as much apes as she can against the giant rocks.

 

Kong delivers multiple punches to Skar's face, but the one eye ape comes behind him and hits him in the head multiple times.

 

But a rock hits the ape off of Kong, Suko is the culprit as he hurls the rocks around him to both apes and crawlers.

 

Kong gives him a look of acknowledgment, but the one eyed ape starts to chase after Suko for his betrayal, "YOU LITTLE TRAITOR!"

 

Kai attempts to make his away over to protect Suko, but is slammed to the side as another ape grabs on to him, but Kai grips the ape’s shoulders and zaps the creature far below to the ground.

 

But the Skullcrawler coils his tail around Kai and attempts to snap his neck but Godzilla clamps his jaw around Zevik’s neck and throws him off of the young titan.

 

Godzilla gives Kai a grin, Kai gives a look of determination as he charges himself towards Zevik while Godzilla propels himself towards Shimo.

 

Shimo uses her ice beam to freeze Godzilla as he tries to advance on the ice Titan, but Mothra quickly comes in from behind him and reflects the ice particles to disorient Shimo and halt her attack.

 

Godzilla then burst from the ice and launches himself at forward towards Shimo, body slamming her.

 

Kai is locked in with Zevik, he lands and electrical whip right at Zevik's chest, then the top of his head.

 

Kong then manages to retrieve his axe back, but suddenly, another pulse is relaxed from whatever had remained of the two pyramids.

 

The normal gravity had returned and everything started to come down to the ground below.

 

Kai doesn't try to use his bio electricity to keep him in the sky as he begins to pursue Zevik who has changed his direction to one of the portals bellows.

 

Suko and the one eyed ape had landed on one of the green crystals, but Suko has kicked the ape off of the crystal, sending him thousands of feet below.

 

As Kai purses Zevik, Godzilla does so with Skar King, along with Kong and Shimo, the six Titans all entered through the portal leading to who knows where.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

 

It was just another average sunny day in Brazil's second largest city, people enjoying their day in the beach.

 

Socializing, relaxing, watching the waves, but they all being to look ahead as massive waves start to appear, but then freezes randomly, the rest of the water starts to freeze as well.

 

Causing a massive glacier near the coastline, but three titans burst out of it, Skar King, Zevik, and Shimo and about twenty skullcrawlers.

 

Shimo and the crawlers lands on the glacier, while Skar King and Zevik both land on the beach.

 

The high rise up and shake the sand off of them, but Zevik look away from the sun momentarily and Skar King blocks it out with his hand.

 

After a moment, the two suddenly realize that they are in a surface world, more specifically, a human settlement.

 

They look below and see humans staring back at them, they look at each other and give evil smirks, then they both roar below as the people on the beach started fleeing for their lives.

 

"ATTACK THEM!" Zevik commanded the twenty skullcrawlers as they begin to destroy buildings and scoop humans up into their mouths.

 

Skar King uses the crystal again to command Shimo to bring forth another Ice Age, "ICE THIS WHOLE WORLD NOW!"

 

"N-NOO! AAHHH" Shimo roared in pain as she attempted to resist before complying.

 

Shimo sends an ice blast into the sky and causes a monolithic blizzard, causing structures like the Christ Redeem Statue to have icicles appear on it.

 

Then she freezes up buildings by the coast line, "WHO WILL STOP ME NOW?!" Skar King roared out, but he suddenly received a mechanical punch to his jaw, knocking him to the floor.

 

A purple blast is sent to Shimo's underbelly, Godzilla roars as he rises up from the ice, an electric beam also strikes Zevik and Kai surfaces from the ice as well.

 

Skar then spits out a loose tooth, sending it flying to the streets below, Kong chuckles at this, "Now look at you"

 

Skar then commands Shimo to attack, but Godzilla rushes Shimo as they begin to fight, pushing each other into multiple buildings.

 

Kai starts to send endless attacks towards the army of crawlers, hitting them with electric blast after blast.

 

He grabs the tail of one and send the skullcrawler flying towards half a dozen of them or so, knocking them all to the ground.

 

Kong drops kick Skar King, sending him to the ground, but Skar King uses the crystal again Kong and Shimo tail whips Kong down the street and into a building.

 

Zevik lashes into Kai's shoulder and drags him against the floor and towards a facade of a building.

 

"Great, you're back" Kai said sarcastically.

 

Zevik runs at Kai but he jumps up and quake slams Zevik, sending a mini shockwave around.

 

Shimo runs after Kong, but Godzilla appears as he demolishes a building, he tackles Shimo to the ground but gets kicked halfway across Rio, sending him tumbling into multiple structures.

 

Kai gets swarmed by about ten of the crawlers, but he spins himself around and sends a slap of electricity to each and every one of them.

 

He goes invisible momentarily and kicks Zevik's face real quick, who was taken aback but knew who had done it.

 

"What the hell?"

 

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Skar King wraps his whip around a skyscraper and hurls it at Kong, who punches through it with his glove.

 

 

 

Shimo sends an ice beam at Kai, but he manipulates the molecular structure of the beam and sends his back as his bio electricity.

 

"Sorry I have to do this" Kai said apologetically. 

 

Knocking Shimo to the ground, and sending her flying against the ground and picking up rubble as she went.

 

 

 

He sees a crawler open its mouth to bite his face but he backflip kicks the crawler into the air, then jumps up and suplex the crawler into a lake.

 

Skar King front flip kicks Kong into Shimo, who has recovered and is back in action, she laches her teeth into Kong's glove.

 

Slamming him into buildings and against the ground, then throwing him into building she had did earlier, completely destroying it.

 

Shimo sends her ice beam at Kong but he quickly uses the glove to block it, Skar King laughs evilly at this but doesn't notice Godzilla charging up behind him.

 

"He's done for"

 

 

 

"Please let me incinerate every part of this ape" Godzilla said to himself as he prepared for his attack.

 

Godzilla's entire body starts to glow with UltraViolet Radiation, Skar King notices at the last second and manages to dodge it before he's struck by the Atomic Blast.

 

"SHIT!"

 

He tries to slash Godzilla with his ship, but Godzilla catches it in his mouth and throws Skar as he held onto the whip.

 

Kai sees all of the crawlers make a move against him, so he does something incredible.

 

He uses electricity to grab onto all of the crawlers, he starts to levitate slowly into the air, the power begins to surge up before.

 

Causing all of the skullcrawlers, excepts Zevik, to internally combust and explode from the pressure of the power.

 

He lands in the ground but in a superhero stance, he looks up and sees Zevik angrily cursing him out, but he grabs a chunk of rubble and hurls it at Zevik, blinding him.

 

But Zevik, manages to tackle him into a building, leaving a large Kai sized hole in it, "Now you're starting to get on my nerves"

 

"You might as well accept it, this world is mine and Skar's, you and your worthless friends will be the first to perish"  Zevik monologued as he charges Kai to snap his neck.

 

Kai clamps his hands around Zevik's upper and lower jaw, but struggles and Zevik violently moves, but tries to break away as he feels the singing burn of Kai's electricity around his mouth.

 

"Actually, it's gonna be you" Kai says cockily as he watches Zevik's face crumble.

 

He begins to panic as he tries to pull away, but burns marks are appearing around his mouth and Kai shows no sign of letting go.

 

He moves Zevik towards the direction of the ocean, "WAIT WAIT WAIT! HEAR ME OUT!" Zevik begged the young ape titan.

 

"I've heard enough of you" Kai said as he unleashed a kamehameha onto Zevik, sending him far off into the sky, away from Rio, but Zevik feels his body heat up from the pressure as the beam is still striking him.

 

Then, his body had exploded somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean, his remains landing onto the water and possibly onto any ships or boats.

 

Godzilla breaks Skar King's whip, which causes the crystal to land on the ground as Skar starts to chase after it.

 

"The crystal” Skar says panicked as he crawls towards his only lifeline but Godzilla sees this, "Oh no you don't"

 

But Godzilla sends his Atomic Breath towards Skar, destroying many buildings, but Skar King manages to retrieve it, he chuckles happily "Can't lose you"

 

 

 

But Godzilla sends his beam towards Skar King, knocking him back as well as the crystal right out of his hand.

 

Kong notices the crystal, and the fact it has to do something with controlling Shimo, but he can't move because if he does, what happened to his arm will happen to his face.

 

But Godzilla hits Shimo with his Atomic Breath point blank and tackles her straight into a building.

 

 

 

Kong break the ice off of his arm, and notices the crystal all on its own laying in the middle of the rubble.

 

"I have to get it before he does" Kong said as he cleared off his Glove.

 

He tries to jump as he sees Skar King watching him, but is grabbed by the legs and out into a chokehold by him.

 

Suko suddenly appears out of nowhere with Kong's axe and slams it into the crystal, destroying it and freeing Shimo from Skar King's control.

 

"I GOT IT!"

 

 

 

This had sent all six of the remaining titans flying, included Kai as he had also began to pursue the crystal but had hid behind a building as the crystal burst.

 

Shimo gets up, realizing now that she is no longer controlled by Skar, "No pain?"

 

Skar, now enraged at Suko for destroying his power, he grabs the little ape by the neck and attempts to strangle him.

 

"YOU LITTLE SHIT! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE!"

 

"LET GO OF ME!" Suko screamed as he banged his fists against Skar King's arm in an attempt to free himself.

 

"GET OFF OF HIM!"  Kong growled as he threw back his fist.

 

Kong punches the Tyrant instantly, releasing his grip on Suko, Kong grabs Skar by the neck and hurls him to Godzilla, who tail whips Skar King into the sky.

 

 

 

Skar is sent a few thousand feet above Rio, Kai suddenly appears above him in the air, Kai is charging up a mega electric blast.

 

As he gathered energy from the clouds, his entire body is overflowing with electricity as it pores out of his body, he spreads his hands out as electric orbs appear from both palms.

 

 

 

Skar looks at the young ape in shock and a slither of fear, no... the legends said he was only a myth.

 

Kai stares down the red ape with hatred and disgust seething from his face, "Tchau Cadela"

 

He claps his hands together, sending a shockwave of Bio-Electricity towards the chest of Skar, sending him back towards the ground and tumbled before Kong caught him by the neck.

 

Skar tries to get Shimo to attack Kong for in desperation despite the crystal being destroyed, "KILL THIS FALSE NOW!"

 

But Shimo, not sure what to do anymore looks towards Godzilla, "Take your revenge” the king of the monsters commanded the ice Titan who complied and froze Skar King's entire body.

 

Kai lands back in the ground to see what is unfolding, Kong and Skar lock eyes with each other and Kong stares angrily at him.

 

"You'll never harm another of our kind again" Kong told the ape before jumping up and slamming the ice figure into the ground.

 

Shattering Skar's entire body into a million pieces, Kong roars victoriously

 

Godzilla looks at the ape, impressed, Kong sends a smirk at Godzilla "Do your thing"

 

"Don't gotta tell me twice" Godzilla smirks charges up his atomic breath and sends it into the sky, clearing the atmosphere of Shimo's blast and putting an end to the attempted ice age.

 

The other four look up at the sky in awe, but one Titan was at a lost for words of what has happened.

 

"I'm... I'm free"

It was finally over

 

Skar King and Zevik's reign of terror over the Great Apes, and the threat of their attempted invasion of the Surface World.

 

The world has been saved once more, and everything was at peace again.

 

Kai had returned to the Hollow Earth and reunited with his mom and sister.

 

"I almost lost you, but I'm so proud of you" Ilene told her son with the most emotion in her voice.

 

"You were awesome" Jia signed to her older brother, who hugged her tightly.

 

"Thanks, Mom, I think I'll stay down here for a bit, Dad's gonna need some help when we get the other apes from the lair" he signed so Jia could understand as well.

 

"You do what you think is right, I know these last few years I've been mostly strict, but you've shown me you can step up and handle yourself in a terrible situation, you've stepped up so much, I could never be more proud than I already am" Ilene said.

 

"Hey listen, I'm always going to come down here if you need me" Jia signed.

 

"Thank you guys, I love you both so much" Kai signed heartedly as he pulled his mom and sister into his embrace.

 

He also said goodbye to Bernie and Trapper, who were also going to return to the surface with Ilene and Jia, who had decided that she wasn't going anywhere if her family wasn't there.

 

There had been a little ceremony for the five of them held by the Iwi, congratulating them for their victory. Kai waved away as he watched the HEAV fly away out of the Hollow Earth.

 

Mothra had repaired the barrier protecting the Iwi, not before flying away into another part of the Hollow Earth.

 

And with the help of her, her and Kai managed to solidify a true alliance between Godzilla and Kong, hopefully for good.

 

Godzilla had returned to Rome, and lays down in the Colosseum again and closes is eyes and gets his very much well deserved nap.

 

"Finally it's over, I needed this" Godzilla said right before his eye lids fall over his eyes, entering his slumber.

 

"These last few years have been a roller coaster, I've had to take on a responsibility I didn't think I would have to, I've had to face threats from mechanical to tyrannical, I've also made a lot friends that have helped me through this journey, but the biggest take away is that I'm not the same person I was three years ago, I was just another Titan going about his life, then suddenly I'm now one of the new protectors of the world, back then I would've not believed that I would be where I am today, I'm glad I'm here now because now I know what I can really do, this world will have more threats in the future, even stronger ones, but I'll be there alongside my Dad and Godzilla every step of the way"

 

Back down in Skar King's lair, the apes hear the roar Shimo, they all look and see Kong, Kai, Suko riding on top of Shimo.

 

The apes are confused by this for a moment, but soon realized that their abusers and torturers had finally been killed.

 

"They're actually gone?" A ape in the crowd said in shock.

 

A particular ape, Boots. Who was the one Kong helped from the ground was brought to tears by this revelation, happy that he was finally free again.

 

"He did it" Boots said.

 

The apes jump off of Shimo, Kai hugs her face in comfort, knowing she's going through a lot after being abused for so long.

 

She nuzzles in his embrace and Kong rubs her head, to which she accepts. Kai had also gave Suko a warm embraced, happy that the ape was now his new brother.

 

Together, the four of them all roared victoriously as the apes also cheer, happy to finally be free and declare their new ruler Kong.

Chapter 15: Godzilla x Kong: Supernova Teaser

A few years have passed now after the Skar King and Zevik tried to annihilate the Surface World with their army.

 

It all seems right now at a crossroads, the titans presence is ever growing, but at the same time governments around the world have increased their presence.

 

After Rome, Cairo, and Rio again. The world is getting more exhausted with these ever growing Titan conflicts.

 

Especially after Shimo being revealed to the world and the power she holds that can bring devastation effects globally.

 

They've want to take matters into their own hands for a while now. Godzilla, Kong, and Kai might not be enough anymore.

 

Infact, some people are now blaming them for these conflicts.

 

Right now, Kai is currently sitting in the chair of his best friend's desk at the Monarch Call Center Division.

 

Currently texting the love of his life, his boyfriend Ryan who also happens to be the brother of his best friend. Kai smirks at the messages despite the noise all around, they’ve been together for well over a year now and are going strong currently..

But there's no visible threat to be seen right now, at least on the surface of the Earth, and nothing is coming from below, so what is it?
