FOREWORD
Welcome to my observations about Moriarty the Patriot.
I invite you to first look at the overview of this series to see if you need to read another guide before starting this one.
Then I suggest you look at the index of this work to confirm whether you want to read the whole thing or go straight to certain chapters.
What you will see here are my experiences and researches. I'm not telling you how to write a work; I'm just gathering information that I think is relevant and sharing it because I don't see why I should keep it to myself. Sometimes I give you an opinion, but no more.
Of course, I do have not the ultimate truth, there are probably mistakes. Yes, I am human and by dint of rereading again and again in search of clues, I don't see anything more. Don't hesitate to correct me.
Surprisingly, I'm not a big reader of fanfiction and my writing is worthless. I am not a guarantee of quality. So, take my words with caution.
I'm not imposing anything, I'm suggesting; you're free to do what you want.
GENERALITIES

Original series written by Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle and illustrated by Sidney Edward Paget.
The canon is composed of four novels and five books of short-stories (fifty-six short-stories).
➣ Moriarty the Patriot
Japanese/original title of the work: Yūkoku no Moriāti (憂国のモリアーティ)
Japanese Abbreviation: Yuumori & YNM
English Abbreviation: MTP
Manga series & main series, written by Ryōsuke Takeuchi and illustrated by Hikaru Miyoshi.
The 'Part One' comprises nineteen volumes (August 2016 to December 2022) and the 'Part Two' is currently in hiatus (2024 to ~).

Light novel series, written by Yōsuke Saita and illustrated by Hikaru Miyoshi.
This work is composed of three books.

Japanese/original title of the work: Yūkoku no Moriāti - The Remains (憂国のモリアーティ - The Remains)
Manga series, spin-offs & adaptation of the light novels, written by Yōsuke Saita and illustrated by Hikaru Miyoshi.
This work is composed of three volumes.

Anime & adaptation of the main series, directed by Kazuya Nomura, assisted by Tooru Ookubo, Gō Zappa, Taku Kishimoto and Asami Tachibana.
This work is composed of two seasons, each with twelve episodes and an Original Video Animation.

Stage play & adaptation of the main series, directed by Daisuke Nishida.
This work is composed of two cases.

Japanese/original title of the work: Myūjikaru Yūkoku no Moriāti (ミュージカル「憂国のモリアーティ」)
Abbreviation: Morimu (モリミュ)
Stage musical & adaptation of the main series, directed by Nishimori Hideyuki.
This work is composed of five opus.
VOCABULARY
A little vocabulary before starting this guide:
Omake (御負け) - "Extra"
Japanese term refering to bonus drawning on manga page.
Earl
British equivalent of the count title.
Note: I have a little rant about the earl title because it just replaces the count title but only the count title. So at the place of a count, a countess, a viscount and a viscountess, we have an earl, a countess, a viscount and a viscountess. Couldn't they follow through with their idea, until the very end?
