Summary:

“I miss you scenting me all the time,” Hoseok adds, instead of answering the question. “Don’t you want to do it now?” Yoongi stares at him hard, his arms unfolding because, of course, he wants to. He’s not sure that he should, though. Hoseok steps closer, pointing at him. “You told me that your wolf imprinted on me. Is that… Did he change his mind?” He gently pokes the middle of Yoongi’s chest, like he thinks his alpha is asleep and he’s trying to wake him up. “Were you only scenting me like that because of your alpha?”

Work Text:

As Yoongi is preparing for a world tour, his manager Seokjin hires a new choreographer to help them out with a few songs. It’s nothing out of the ordinary; Yoongi has worked with lots of people.

However, he is surprised when he sees that it’s Hoseok.

The same human he had a terrible crush on years ago.

Not only that, but Hoseok used to be in the same company as him. They were trainees together until Hoseok decided that he liked dancing more and that he would rather help others out, which included Yoongi.

It was mostly Yoongi, to be honest. Because he needed a lot of help to perfect moves, to get the steps right, and to move his body just right. Hoseok was always available to him. Time didn’t seem to matter. If Yoongi shot him a text saying ‘can we practice in 5?’, in less than 3 minutes, Hoseok replied ‘sure, omw’. Hoseok taught him the foundations and encouraged him when no one else would. Hoseok didn’t seem to mind spending time with him outside practice either. They ate together and then hung out together. Sometimes Hoseok even stayed at the dorms so late that they ended up sleeping in Yoongi's bed.

The feelings were always there but they got worse when Yoongi finally presented and his alpha immediately imprinted on Hoseok. Not much seemed to matter after that point. He just wanted to be in Hoseok’s presence no matter what. Then he became uncertain and scared.

He didn’t know if he would make it in the industry. He didn’t know if they could be something if he was famous. He didn’t know if Hoseok was even interested in dating someone that wasn’t completely human.

Sure, Hoseok indulged him in his desire to scent him but it never went further than that because Yoongi was too afraid to ask and Hoseok never initiated anything.

Then one day his usual ‘can we practice in 5?’ text was met with silence. It was a staff member who told him that Hoseok quit and that broke his heart completely. He learned a few years later that Hoseok didn’t quit dancing or choreographing; he just joined another company.

And until today, they never crossed paths.

Yoongi gives Hoseok a tight-lipped smile as they shake hands. Hoseok looks even better now with his fluffy brown hair and sparkling eyes; the red t-shirt he's wearing is way too big on him and a tiny, colorful bag that's hanging from his shoulder looks way too small to put anything in it, and... his smile. His smile is the worst offender.

Hoseok is smiling at him so hard that his eyes turn into crescents, and Yoongi is too stunned to reciprocate it in any way. They both play along with the notion that they don’t know each other for some reason, and Yoongi wonders if he should’ve told Seokjin about Hoseok. Seokjin has no clue about them because he joined the company four years ago, so he never met Hoseok before.

“Hoseok has worked with some big names in the industry and his choreographies have been praised by everyone,” Seokjin explains to Yoongi as though he doesn’t already know it. It’s not like Hoseok left his mind entirely in the past 8 years. He googled his name whenever something reminded him of Hoseok just to see what he was up to. He knows perfectly well that Hoseok is regarded as somewhat of a genius. He even danced in a few music videos.

“That’s nothing, really. Others have done more,” Hoseok laughs, and his tone sounds a little embarrassed. He’s always been too humble in Yoongi’s opinion. Hoseok looks at him then, completely. “I mean, I think I’m a good fit for your album. I got a little overexcited and I already recorded something I came up with. Do you want to see?”

“Sure,” Yoongi replies with a small shrug. Hoseok fiddles with his phone before he turns it towards Yoongi and Seokjin and a video starts playing on the screen. Hoseok is outside, standing on the street with a guy as his song plays. They move in perfect harmony. “Who is that?”

“It’s a friend. I taught him the choreography quickly because it looks better with two people,” Hoseok explains, and Yoongi lets out a noncommittal hum without taking his eyes off the screen. He has no right to feel jealous in any capacity but his alpha whines in his chest pathetically anyway. He doesn’t like admitting it but he is jealous of every single person who was able to spend any time with Hoseok in the past year while he couldn’t.

They watch the video in silence and by the end Yoongi really likes the choreography. He would be more than happy to perform this at every concert in front of a crowd of people. But that might be true for any choreography made by Hoseok, though. Bringing a piece of Hoseok around the world would mean something to Yoongi. It would make all the concerts special. More special than they already are.

“This is really good. I like it a lot,” Yoongi tells him, finally feeling strong enough to smile at the younger. Hoseok squeezes his phone to his chest and beams at him with his brightest smile.

“I have to agree,” Seokjin adds. “I knew you were the right person for this.”

“I could teach you a part of the choreography. To see if you really enjoy it. I have time right now,” Hoseok offers immediately. Yoongi wants to agree, but he exchanges a glance with Seokjin first.

“I’m in,” Yoongi nods.

Seokjin shrugs and says, “I can stick around a bit.”

Yoongi likes Seokjin. He really does. But right now, he wishes that he had some urgent business because there is so much that Yoongi wants to say to Hoseok. Instead of that, he has to concentrate on his body and how he moves his limbs while trying to not get distracted by Hoseok in the mirror.

He’s not a dumb pup that gets easily wrapped up in his feelings anymore but it’s… Hoseok. Things have always been more complicated with him, so this whole impromptu dance practice doesn’t feel any different.

He does his best to copy every move even though he knows that he’s underperforming. He can see it on Seokjin’s face as well. Seokjin is leaning against the wall and he’s frowning, which is never a good sign. Yoongi doesn’t want him to start making excuses for him, so he makes sure to concentrate harder.

After 20 minutes or so, Hoseok spins around and claps his palms together, looking excited and happy. Seokjin hits pause on the music and walks over to them while Yoongi wipes the sweat off his forehead, hoping that some of his embarrassment will disappear, too.

“He’s usually much better than this,” is the first Seokjin says, his hand landing on top of Yoongi’s shoulder, and Yoongi shoots an annoyed glance his way. “I promise he can pick up the moves fast.”

Hoseok’s eyes flicker across Yoongi’s features, then he says, “I know. I know we’ll work well together.”

“So, you’ll take the job?” Seokjin asks. Now he sounds excited too.

“Of course. Send me Yoongi-ssi’s schedule and we’ll get started,” Hoseok answers right away, pushing his hair out of his face. Hearing Hoseok speak formally instead of calling him hyung feels wrong. It sounds wrong too, like Hoseok isn’t used to saying that either.

“Amazing,” Seokjin smiles, pulling his hand away. “I’ll take my leave then, and I’ll make sure that everything gets sent to you today.”

As Seokjin leaves, Yoongi expects Hoseok to come up with an excuse and escape the practice room, but he doesn’t. Hoseok keeps standing in the same spot, an arm’s length away from Yoongi, his eyes on the floor and his fingers intertwined. He doesn’t look like he wants to leave and Yoongi supposed that it’s better to get over this before their first official practice starts in a few days.

“Yoongi-ssi? Really?” Yoongi can’t help but tease him about that. It’s beyond weird to pretend like they weren’t best friends at some point. Best friends that were on the edge of being something more.

Hoseok laughs softly and lifts his eyes at him. “I couldn’t call you hyung when Seokjin-ssi thought that we don’t know each other. He would’ve assumed that I was being disrespectful.”

“Pretending not to know your old best friend is pretty disrespectful too,” Yoongi points out jokingly, crossing his arms across his chest. He takes a tentative step closer.

“Hyung,” Hoseok breathes. Almost too quietly but Yoongi hears it. He hears the guilt sticking to his tone as well, like a fly to a trap. He doesn’t want Hoseok to torture himself over the past.

“You don’t gotta feel bad about it, Hoseok-ah,” Yoongi says. When their eyes meet, he sees the surprise in Hoseok’s eyes. “I was upset then and I wish you would’ve given me the opportunity to say goodbye, but…” Yoongi trails off and shrugs. He’s acting brave and mature because it feels like the right thing to do in this situation. He doesn’t want to fight or argue. It already happened and there is not much to do about it.

“But you know why I had to leave, right?” Hoseok asks, and Yoongi shrugs again because he doesn’t know. It’s been a big mystery in his life. He has his own theories but he’s not sure if any of them are correct. “Do you remember telling me that you might quit that one night we got pretty drunk? I’m not that type of person, hyung. I’m not that selfish.”

Yoongi frowns, trying to remember that night but he can’t recall it at all. He didn’t know that he told Hoseok about that at all.

“You quit before I did?” Yoongi asks, then presses his palm to his mouth to muffle his laughter. It’s so stupid. They are both very stupid, it seems.

“I guess so. It was better than you quitting. I mean, look at you now.” Hoseok gestures toward him, and Yoongi automatically looks down at himself. He achieved his dream and got everything that he wanted. Almost everything. “You made it, hyung, so I can’t say that I regret doing what I did.”

“I wasn’t sure about quitting. I just thought about it sometimes,” is what he ends up saying after a moment of silence. He wasn’t sure of anything back then.

“I’m glad it was just a thought,” Hoseok smiles, and it looks genuine.

“From the outside, it looks like you’ve been doing well.” He pauses then, hesitating. His eyes leave Yoongi’s for a few seconds before their eyes lock again. “Have you–have you been doing well?”

Yoongi nods slowly then his movements slip into a shrug again; every cell in his body is trying to play it cool. He wants to tell Hoseok the truth that he has been doing well but he also missed Hoseok terribly. There were days where Hoseok was all he could think about and some days he didn’t even cross his mind once. It’d be embarrassing to admit how many hours Yoongi spent trying to remember what Hoseok smelled like on his worst days.

Hoseok’s scent is the worst part of being in love with a human. Yoongi can easily recall Seokjin’s scent or any of his other friend’s; even if he was in a room full of people, he could envision it in his mind so strongly that he could smell it. Hoseok, like all humans, has a fragile scent. No matter how much Yoongi tried he could never remember it.

Now though…

His eyes flicker down to Hoseok’s neck of their own accord, and his alpha whines, begging him to scent him.

“I’m fine. Everything is perfect,” Yoongi replies, forcing himself to look at Hoseok’s face again, which doesn’t last very long. Hoseok suddenly lets out all the tension from his shoulders and as they sink, the neck of his shirt shifts, exposing more of his skin. Yoongi clenches his jaw, then asks, “What about you?”

“I’m good too. I’m doing what I love, so…” he trails off again, and Yoongi has a hunch that he’s being careful with his words too. Hoseok takes a deep breath, lifting his chin up high, like he’s steeling himself. “We’ll be working together for a few months and I don’t want any misunderstandings between us. I know I hurt you by leaving but I’m hoping that we can become friends again. It might be too much to ask but…”

“But?” Yoongi doesn’t like the way he keeps not finishing his sentences. He wants to hear everything that Hoseok has to say.

“I don’t know. I miss you, hyung,” Hoseok says, looking a little flustered suddenly. “After you, I never became close with anyone. Not like that. I liked the friendship that we had. Spending time with you, eating dinner together, and falling asleep in your bed are some of my most precious memories.” Yoongi gives him a skeptical look. “Wha–why’s the look?”

“Friendship? You think that’s what it was?” Yoongi asks. Hoseok’s lips part, then he averts his eyes as the tips of his ears visibly turn red.

“It’s complicated,” Yoongi fibs. His alpha didn’t let go of Hoseok. His feelings might’ve changed somewhat in the past few years, but his alpha still cries for Hoseok all the same. “I didn’t– even before I presented, you know that I—”

“Then scent me,” Hoseok interjects. “If not for you or your alpha, can you just do it for me once?” His voice slightly wavers as he adds, “Please?”

His alpha bangs his fists against Yoongi’s ribs and he knows he can’t resist. He’s never been very good at controlling himself around Hoseok, so how is he supposed to say no when Hoseok is looking at him like that? He is so, so weak.

Yoongi closes the distance between them and pushes his nose against the crook of Hoseok’s neck. His eyes fall shut as soon as he inhales. He can’t describe the way Hoseok smells, he just smells like Hoseok. He smells perfect and painfully familiar. His alpha is delighted when Hoseok carefully puts his hands on his waist, pulling him closer slowly. Yoongi lets him, lets his body go lax against him.

His eyes sting with tears and he presses closer. He missed this so much. He missed Hoseok more than he could ever explain.

He’s barely doing anything, and yet he feels so alive, so happy.

He can hear Hoseok’s steady breathing next to his ear and feel the warmth of his skin rising, probably a blush creeping up his neck, and Yoongi knows he’s not much better. The back of his neck is burning like it’s his first time scenting someone. He moves his nose up and down then pulls away.

Hoseok blinks at him rapidly. “Wha– That’s it? But you used to—”

“I’m not a puppy anymore,” Yoongi says defensively. He knows perfectly well what Hoseok was expecting: that eager, possessive way Yoongi would scent him in his bed. He was always laying on top of Hoseok, arms wrapped around his waist, his face buried in his neck, whining and purring because it was his favorite thing. It was never enough, though. He could never get enough of him no matter what he did. “I’m older now, Seok-ah.”

“Oh, you don’t do it like that anymore?” Hoseok asks, looking heartbroken and hands flexing on Yoongi’s waist. “That’s a shame. I missed that so much.”

“Did you really?” Yoongi’s heart aches. He didn’t think it meant much to Hoseok because he can't smell Yoongi. Hoseok has no clue how he used to walk around smelling like he belonged to Yoongi.

“Of course,” Hoseok nods with a sad smile curling on his lips. “I used to fall asleep when you scented me long enough. I always slept so well with you on top of me and…”

Hoseok trails off again, so Yoongi decides to point out the obvious. “Doesn’t sound like a friendship to me.”

Hoseok’s expression turns more gentle as he says, “Yeah, I guess it wasn’t really a friendship.”

Something snaps inside Yoongi’s chest at the admission and his hand curls around Hoseok’s wrist and he starts pulling him toward the door. He didn’t lie when he said that he didn’t scent anyone like that anymore, but why shouldn’t he make an exception?

Hoseok wants it and so does Yoongi. Not to mention his alpha is going wild at the memories.

“Oh,” Hoseok breathes. “We are going somewhere. Where are we going?”

Yoongi pushes the door open and starts heading toward his studio. Anyone could step into the practice room but not his studio. If he’s going to embarrass himself by acting like a freshly presented puppy, then he won’t give the chance to anyone to catch him doing it.

He was embarrassing enough when he was a trainee. He had roommates and he didn’t care at all. He was scenting Hoseok like he might die if he stopped in front of everyone. He’s self-aware enough to not do that anymore.

“You know,” Yoongi replies curtly as he takes a turn.

“This is my first time in this building, so I don’t really know where we are going.”

“You’ll see.”

Yoongi reaches for the keypad as soon as they reach his studio. Hoseok’s free hand settles on his shoulder, standing way too close to him. It’s distracting enough that Yoongi punches in the wrong code on the first try.

“You have your name on your studio's door?” Hoseok asks with a mix of awe and pride in his tone. The thought that he made Hoseok proud somehow immediately makes Yoongi’s cheeks burn, and he almost puts in the wrong code again.

The keypad beeps happily, and Yoongi pulls Hoseok in, ignoring his question. The door closes behind them and a quiet growl emerges from his throat as Yoongi pushes Hoseok against the door, hands on his waist.

“Oh, fuck,” Hoseok curses as Yoongi dives in, letting go of all his fears and embarrassment. His lips meet Hoseok’s jaw first, pressing a soft kiss there and then he slides down his neck to his shoulder. Hoseok’s shirt slides off his shoulder easily and Yoongi presses another soft kiss there. Warmth blooms inside his chest when he inhales deeply, letting Hoseok’s scent fill his head and his lungs.

Hoseok lets out a sigh; one of his arms slowly wraps around Yoongi’s back, gripping the back of his shirt while the other climbs up his neck. Yoongi almost groans when Hoseok’s hand slides into his hair and his fingers start slowly carding through his strands. It feels so nice to be touched by Hoseok so softly, like he’s something that he needs to be careful with. Like he's precious. His alpha relaxes completely.

Yoongi circles the spot where Hoseok's scent gland would be, pushing his nose against it; even though his scent isn’t any stronger there, he still does it. He’s always treated Hoseok like he’s one of them because he had no reason not to. Hoseok enjoyed this so much back then, and if his rapid heartbeat is anything to go by, then he still enjoys it just as much.

He moves up to Hoseok’s jaw, kissing the spot under his ear as a new urge floods his entire body.

“Can I use my mouth, Seok-ah?” Yoongi murmurs, his voice deeper and raspier than usual. Hoseok exhales shakily, pressing his body closer to his, his fingers tightening in his hair.

“You can,” Hoseok whispers.

Yoongi doesn’t waste any time; he switches to the other side, pressing a kiss to his jaw then attaching his mouth to the spot under it. It’s not his first time doing this with Hoseok. He’s done it more times than he can count. He left accidental (and not-so-accidental) marks on his friend’s neck and shoulder countless times too. As he licks at his skin, Hoseok scrapes his nails against his scalp, making Yoongi groan.

“I was skeptical about your long hair at first, but it’s– it’s really nice,” Hoseok comments, and Yoongi hums against his skin, refusing to pull away even for a second. He’s intent on tasting every inch of Hoseok’s skin. The warmth inside him spreads as though Hoseok’s scent is filling up his entire body until the only thing Yoongi can taste, feel and smell is him. Yoongi’s hand easily moves under the younger’s baggy shirt, his palm pressing against the middle of his back, fingers splayed, and he suddenly notices how warm Hoseok feels.

Yoongi mouths at his shoulder, lightly sucking at the skin, unable to stop the little whimper that slips out of him because Hoseok’s taste only amplifies his scent, and now Yoongi feels a little dizzy, almost drunk. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he remembers that this is what it used to be like back then, too. Hoseok’s fragile scent becomes overwhelming the more Yoongi chases it. It fills every crevice of his body, makes its home in his heart, and sticks to Yoongi’s tongue like honey.

Yoongi nips at his shoulder gently, not wanting to hurt Hoseok, but the long-forgotten ache in his jaw returns. Even though his wolf is relaxed, Yoongi feels his impatience and disapproval. His alpha doesn’t like that Hoseok isn’t theirs. That he walks around unmarked. It doesn’t matter to him that Hoseok has no idea about this, or that Yoongi and Hoseok haven’t seen each other in too long.

“Hyung,” Hoseok calls softly, and Yoongi doesn’t want to pull away. He pushes his lips against Hoseok’s jaw harder, gently biting him there too. He wants to remember this forever. He doesn’t want to pull away only for Hoseok to tell him that he was too much or that this is too weird now that they are older. “Yoongi-hyung.”

Yoongi sighs in disappointment and draws away without letting go of Hoseok completely. His eyes widen a little as he takes Hoseok in: his cheeks are flushed, his lips are bitten raw and his eyes are unfocused. He looks annoyingly beautiful.

“Yeah?”

“Listen,” Hoseok starts, placing his hands on Yoongi’s shoulder. “I… I lied earlier. I don’t want our friendship back.” Yoongi’s stomach drops and starts to pull away, but instantly Hoseok panics, holding him tighter to stop Yoongi from moving away. “No, no, I mean, I want our friendship back but I want more too. If that’s okay. If you’ll have me then I’d like to go on a date with you.”

Yoongi releases the breath that he’s been holding and smiles, “Fine, I lied too. It’s not really complicated. My wolf is still very attached to you, so I think I’m going to accept that offer. I'd love to go on a date with you.”

Hoseok’s expression softens at once, his relief and fondness on full display. His eyes fall to Yoongi’s chest and his hand slides down from his shoulder and Hoseok softly caresses his sternum.

“Aww, did you miss me?” Hoseok coos adorably. “I’m sorry for being away for so long. I swear I’ll make it up to you.”

“Please don’t talk to my wolf,” Yoongi groans, embarrassed once more because his alpha beams at the attention. He loves Hoseok's attention more than anything.

“I’m going to spoil you, you’ll see,” Hoseok promises, like he didn’t hear what Yoongi just said. He scratches Yoongi’s chest like he’s scratching a dog behind its ears. “My good little alpha.”

Yoongi catches his wrist and flattens his hand against his chest and Hoseok finally looks up with a big smile like he thinks this is so funny. It’s absolutely not funny how easily Hoseok is able to wrap his alpha around his fingers and at the end of the day, he doesn’t even have to deal with the constant whining whenever the lack of Hoseok’s presence in his life becomes too much.

“Don’t say stuff like that,” Yoongi pouts as though Hoseok’s words didn’t make his heart flutter.

“Okay, I don’t have to speak,” Hoseok shrugs. He cups Yoongi’s cheek and leans closer, their nose bumping against each other’s. Hoseok’s breath fans across his lips and Yoongi grips his hips tighter, anticipation spiking in his body. He wets his lips and waits, so ready to be kissed by Hoseok. Wanting it so badly. He dreamt of it, he fantasized about it too many times, and yet, he feels unprepared now. Hoseok’s nose slides along his as he raises his chin.

Hoseok presses his lips against his, tightlipped and a little rigid. Then he pulls away like he’s giving Yoongi a chance to pull away, but Yoongi only lifts his chin, his mouth parting, waiting to be kissed properly. Hoseok tilts his head to the side and captures his lips again and this time it’s longer and sweeter. Yoongi melts into it and Hoseok pulls away again, letting out a shuddering breath.

The next kiss is perfect. Their lips find their place and Yoongi cradles Hoseok’s face, keeping him close so he can’t pull away again. Yoongi lets him lick and bite his lower lip, only reacting with a small noise. Then Hoseok’s tongue finds his and Yoongi’s stomach flexes as it fills with warmth and desire. His alpha becomes restless suddenly and Yoongi thinks he knows why. Yoongi kisses him back a little harder, trying to show Hoseok how much he has been dreaming about this. He doesn’t want to pull away but he wants to soothe his alpha, so he does reluctantly anyway.

“I imagined kissing you so many times,” Hoseok sighs. Their forehead is still touching because Yoongi doesn’t have the heart to pull away entirely.

“Why didn’t you do it?” Yoongi asks as his arms circle around Hoseok’s waist.

“I don’t think you would’ve let me leave your bed if I did,” Hoseok chuckles, and Yoongi laughs with him. “Your roommates hated me so much.”

“Who says I’m going to let you leave now?” Yoongi pulls Hoseok toward the couch, and as soon as Hoseok is lying across it, Yoongi climbs between his thighs, settling on top of him and pressing their lips together again.

Yoongi kisses him slowly and lazily, all the desperation is gone from his body and his wolf is calm too, now that he’s covering Hoseok with his body. It almost feels like a dream. He feels so happy and comfortable. Hoseok hums into the kiss as he’s rubbing Yoongi’s sides just like he used to do.

“Hey, Seok-ah. Do you wanna come over for dinner and hang out?”

“Only if I can stay the night.”

“I hope you’re not expecting anything,” Yoongi jokes, raising an eyebrow, even though he knows he wouldn’t say no if Hoseok wanted to do something more than just scenting and kissing.

“Like what?” Hoseok looks confused for a second. “Like, your knot?”

Yoongi feels like his eyes bulge as he stares at Hoseok in disbelief. Hoseok’s smile suddenly turns mischievous. Oh, Hoseok is fucking with him.

“My kn—” Yoongi clears his throat and shakes his head. “Please stop talking. I’m going to scent you again.”

Hoseok chuckles as he presses his mouth to his neck again. Yoongi squeezes his eyes shut, trying to banish the thought of knotting Hoseok from his mind before he goes insane, and instead attempts to focus on Hoseok’s scent. He starts nuzzling his neck and shoulder and keeps doing it until his lips tingle and his head is filled with his scent again. He opens his eyes a little bit to peer at Hoseok’s neck, and satisfaction runs up his spine when he sees little pink marks covering his skin. It feels as though his alpha is on the edge of purring, then Hoseok’s fingers slip into his hair, scratching at his scalp, and a shudder runs up Yoongi’s spine, making goosebumps arise over his skin — and he starts purring.

“God, you’re such a liar,” Hoseok laughs, and it sounds a little strange, a little too wet as he holds Yoongi tighter. “You didn’t change at all. You’re still my puppy.” Yoongi feels Hoseok’s lips against his temple, and he just gives in, letting his alpha purr as loudly as he wants to for Hoseok. “I missed this so much. I have to warn you though that I might fall asleep if you don’t stop.”

Yoongi hums against his shoulder and pulls back to say, “I can wake you up in an hour, and then we can get dinner after that.”

Hoseok shifts under him, letting out a soft noise. Then he says, “Sounds like an awesome plan. Thank you, hyung.”

“You’re welcome, Seok–ah,” Yoongi smiles softly, then goes back to nuzzling Hoseok’s shoulder. He does it with precision and care. He slowly but surely scents every inch of Hoseok’s shoulder. He traces the curve of it with his lips and then his nose, making sure to inhale his scent deeply. He covers him with small kisses too, and then he opens his mouth to gently lick and bite. The more he does it, the more content he feels and the looser Hoseok’s grasp gets on the back of his shirt.

He does the same thing with his neck too, sliding up to his jaw and back down. He doesn’t get tired or bored of it. He does it like scenting Hoseok to sleep is the most important thing in his life. He can’t help it; his alpha likes seeing that Hoseok feels so safe and relaxed with him. Yoongi likes it too.

Maybe he shouldn’t agree with his younger self but he still understands why he thought about giving everything up just to be with Hoseok. Hoseok likes everything about him. He almost forgot about that but it’s true. Most importantly, he likes Yoongi’s wolf, and that means a lot to Yoongi. Seeing Hoseok talking to his chest, making promises, and calling his alpha good… It reminds him why he fell for Hoseok so hard in the first place.

After a few minutes, Yoongi lifts his head to peek at Hoseok once his breathing becomes even, and another wave of satisfaction runs through him when he sees that Hoseok has fallen asleep. He presses one more kiss to his jaw before he lays his head on Hoseok’s chest and gets comfortable too. He thinks he did a good job, and his wolf silently but happily agrees.
