Work Text:
Rin understood the appeal of Isagi. Everyone adores him after all.
Staring at Isagi, Rin slowly spun his pen. Anri’s voice fading into the background as he stared at Isagi. Isagi's deep blue eyes held a certain magnetism that drew people in, and his physique, though not imposing, exuded a quiet strength. Rin found himself captivated by the way Isagi carried himself, the confidence in his every movement, and kindness.
He was too kind to Rin, to everyone. Rin stopped spinning his pen, staring at his desk instead. Yet the picture of Isagi’s soft smile remained. It felt as though he was drowning in Isagi yet he didn’t crawl out.
He let himself drown.
Rin, For a moment, the world around him faded into the background, leaving only him and Isagi in his mind. He wished Isagi could just read his mind, words were hard to let out. The drowning of Isagi wasn’t just mentally but at times physically. He couldn’t ever speak normally around him, it made him embarrassed to no end.
He hated him.
Rin put down his pen, slowly blinking.
Rin watched the way he smiled, his eyes closing slightly as he held his stomach. His laughter slowly filling his ears, it made him warm. Rin knew it was disgusting, disgusting that he even thought of Isagi in that way.
Everyone adored Isagi. Well, at least Rin did.
