Chapter Text
[KING Of KINGS CHAPEL-CHICAGO, IL]
The Officiant--who married April's parents, her sister, and two of her brothers-- intones "Please begin, Ethan."
The Emergency Room Doctor clears his throat and says "From the day we met I knew that you were special. The
light in your eyes; your infectious good humour: I fell for you harder and harder every day. All I could do is hope
that Tate would stumble on his own and give me an opening...which I nearly squandered with the way that I acted.
And when that guy shot me...all I could think about was not whether I'd live or die: how I'd never be able to keep
my promise to love and treasure you as long as we both live. I'm gonna bust out crying any second and so I'll say
that you agreeing to marry me is for me the pinnacle of happiness. I pledge my total love and commitment to
you and only you."
Officiant: "April?"
"Ethan--loving you is a privilege: one that I will not squander. Those trials that we faced weren't enough to break us--
that tells me that any future obstacles in our future will only strengthen and buttress our bond. Since our engagement
I've searched for a poem that comes closest to describing how I feel for you...it's by James Cavanaugh":
"To love is not to possess/ To own or imprison/ Nor to lose one's self in another/ Love is to join and separate/ To walk alone
and together/ To find a laughing freedom/ That lonely isolation does not permit/ It is finally to be able/ To be who we really are/
No longer clinging in childish dependency/ Nor docilely living separate lives in silence/ It is to be perfectly one's self/ And perfectly
joined in permanent commitment/ To another--and to one's inner self/ Love only endures when it moves like waves/ Receding and
returning gently or passionately/ Or moving lovingly like the tide/ In the moon's own predictable harmony/ Because finally, despite
a child's scars/ Or an adult's deepest wounds/ They are openly free to be/ Who they really are--and always secretly were/ In the
very core of their being/ Where true and lasting love can alone abide"...Ethan Choi I could try to tell you how much I love and adore
you: how happy you make me; on MY SOUL I will not let you down."
The Officiant nods, smiles, and says "That was beautiful. Truly lovely, April. Will the Best Man and Maid Of Honour please come
forward"...Noah Sexton (April's Brother) and Emily Choi (Ethan's sister) come forward, carrying ring boxes. In turn April and Ethan
recite 'With this ring, I thee wed', and kiss to raucous cheers....

WEDDING NIGHT
Ethan sits on the large hotel bed, naked except for boxers watching April divest herself of the dress she'd worn to the
reception - a lovely powder blue sleeveless, thigh-length number - and he appreciates the slow peeling of each garment,
his nostrils quiver when she gets to her royal blue bra and boyshorts...his eyes follow every move: from the ebony beauty
unclasping the catch on the front of her bra so that her sizeable breasts can bounce free, to the sliding down of her undies
down long legs...she walks over to straddle her new husband and leans close for a kiss - as if she NEEDS it; as if the joining
of their lips is the key to her SURVIVAL...
Her arms soon link about his muscular back, her red nails scratching lightly at it, for his part, his hands grope and clutch
at her bubbly behind, his face buried in her abundant cleavage... as he kisses his way down her neck he tilts his groin
?
toward her - even through the fabric of her pants it's clear that she's very wet and Ethan's cock is steely hard...while he
suckles at her turgid nipples his new wife reaches down to pull her soaked undies to one side, baring her lightly furred
pudenda, with the assistance of Ethan's strong hands the Brazilan sexpot raises her bottom so that he can slide inside.
She tightened her legs around him, and she hissed her pleasure, her fingers spasming on his back, pulling him deeper
inside. April's head listed to one side, exposing her neck to his questing lips nibbling, nipping, grazing the delicate skin
with his teeth - to where her neck meets her shoulder - "Ethan!", she yelped when his hips went into over-drive...

At 10 am the next morning the front desk calls: "Dr. Choi, good morning; Mr. Thomas Choi and family are here in the lobby;
shall I send them up?"
[as an aside Ethan calls happily to his wife "Thomas Choi's here, Babe!"] "Sorry; we'll need ten minutes, please. Thanks."
"Of course Dr."
April says "Why in the WORLD did you ask for only ten minutes ?", scrambling out of her clothes and into the
shower; Ethan picks up as much of the detritus in the suite as he can before it's HIS turn to hurry through a very quick shower
while April works on what Ethan missed...fortunately for them his Ujncle Thomas realizes that the newly-married lovebirds may
need a bit more time to put things together for a surprise visit from his uncle gives them an extra five minutes...
The moment the door cracks open Thomas blares "It's CHOI!"
A half-second later Ethan echoes "It's CHOI!" The men embrace, slapping one another's backs companionable. "Married man!"
Tomas grins. "You remember my wife Su and our boys."
"Of course; come in everyone," Ethan invites. "Babe, It's my cousin Thomas, his wife Su, and his kiddos."
"Hello, 'Babe'," Su laughs. She's hugger, so before April can react she grabs her in a hug. "Our boys are Jack, Mitchell, and Junior."
"Let me guess: he forgot their names!" April jokes.
