Combing through his beloved’s hair, Moonjo was smiling and humming to himself. It was quite out of his character for him to be so happy, but lately he couldn’t help himself. He was just so joyful recently. He had the love of his life always within arms length, he couldn’t feel happier than this.
”You look so beautiful, Babe.” Moonjo commented, glancing up at the mirror in front of them. His smile only grew as he saw Jongwoo’s gorgeous irises, looking back into his own.
”Would you like some lunch?” Moonjo asked before pressing a quick kiss to Jongwoo’s head, “I have leftovers from yesterday. It should still be good.”
When the couple entered the kitchen, Moonjo pulled out the container of meat, setting it on the counter as he pulled out plates and chopsticks.
”If we finish this portion today, I’ll have to get more of the meat from the freezer in the basement to thaw some more.” Moonjo said as he set their places on the dining table.
Pulling out a chair for Jongwoo, he helped him sit down. Moonjo separted the meat onto each of their plates evenly. “I know the meat usually causes you to have a stomach ache when it’s raw, so I cooked it last night after dinner before refrigerating it.”
Lunch was a quiet yet delightful meal. Moonjo cleaned the dishes, and decided he’d have to let some more of the meat thaw overnight so he could cook more in the morning tomorrow.
Leaving Jongwoo by himself for a while, Moonjo headed to the basement to grab some more of the meat.
Opening the freezer, he smiled at the limbs that greeted him, almost seeming as though they let out a ‘hello’.
Reaching out, he grabbed an arm from the freezer. His Babe’s beautiful arm. He rubbed his hand across the cold, frozen limb, reminiscing the night he and Jongwoo collected it.
Jongwoo had been less than happy about taking off his arm, but it had to go so he wouldn’t crawl away. His legs had already been taken, obviously. He’d tried to run too many times.
Moonjo was quite sad to mutilate his beloved, but it had to be done, Jongwoo only brought it upon himself.
Heading back into the kitchen, he placed the leg in a large plastic bag, ready for it to thaw out.
“I know, I know. I was gone for too long, wasn’t I?” Moonjo chuckled as he walked over to Jongwoo’s head that sat on a chair in the dining room.
”Let’s go clean up, yes?” Moonjo smiled, brushing hair from Jongwoo’s face. The rotting flesh was beginning to smell, but Moonjo didn’t mind in all honesty.
His beloved was perfect the way he was, it was too bad he forced Moonjo’s hand the way he did. He would’ve loved to have him alive with him.
