I Didn't Mean It Like That

Summary:

The ninja have been occupied by their endless missions to find their Master. All but one, their temporary Master-in-training, Lloyd the green ninja. He's stays back in Ninjago City to protect it of any danger to come. After every late night mission Lloyd heads to Laughy's to have a quick snack before going home. But over time he starts to befriend two bikers, Ultra Violet and Killow.

Or, Lloyd is the Quiet One but doesn't mean any serious harm.

Chapter 1: Prologue, The Idea

Summary:

Lloyd starts to go Laughy's at night after every late night mission, over he makes new friends.
Ultra Violet and Killow convince Lloyd to help them start their own biker gang.

It's only been months since Master Wu was lost in a time stream. Ever since then the ninja have been busy with countless missions for the search of their Master, all of them. Except Lloyd, the green ninja would stay within Ninjago City watching over it. All he could really do is deal with small crimes that the police had a hard time stopping. Oftenly, these crimes would happen some time in the night. Dealing with these late night missions left Lloyd feeling drained, and hungry. But the only place that would be open in the dead of night is Laughy's Karaoke Club.

Lloyd would only went there as it was cheap, quick, and pretty decent. Laughy's was normally filled with bikers, gangs, and low level criminals each time he was there. While he was there the green ninja was always given strange stares by the people there. With all the stares and awkwardness, nothing serious ever truly happened.

Each time he shown up to Laughy's, the less werid it gotten. The people there grew more comfortable with him, maybe much more comfortable than Lloyd thought. Soon enough more and more people began to talk to him. Although they'd just have some quick small talk, or ask questions about life as a ninja, or just talk about random topics. To the green ninja's surprise, a good hand full of the people there were big fans of the ninja. Over time he definitely has had some interesting conversations amongst these people.

And yet with all those who talk with him, only two people would talk to him every time he entered. Ultra Violet and Killow. The duo would always have something to share, ask, or question about to him. Ultra Violet was more one the wild side, always doing and saying peculiar things. That's truly left Lloyd wonder if she was sane enough to be in public. As for Killow he was intimidating, but did have a sense of humor. He did know what was the right time to be serious, or to have a laugh. With their personalities mixed they were honestly such entertaining people to be around.

It wasn't long before they became friends, as they became friends Lloyd was told a lot about their lives. He learnt that they've been in multiple different biker gangs, but were always kicked out for various reasons; some absurd, and some quite reasonable. His also told them a bit about his life, and the the stories he has to share. Although only knowing these people while he's sleep deprived, and roughly about three months. They already had a pretty strong friendship considering their dynamics; two biker thugs and the savior of Ninjago .

After one long, late mission Lloyd have came to Laughy's like he normally does. He gets a Boba and small sweet treat, he looks around until he finds Ultra Violet and Killow.

"Hey, Ultra Violet! Killow!" Lloyd exclaimed as he approached them. Ultra Violet sighs before she speaks. "Lloyd, hello." She spoke softly. Killow waves at Lloyd with a sad grin. The blonde notices their awkward quietness and decides to speak up. "Uh, you guys alright?" Lloyd asks as he stood next to them. The duo look at each other and then back at Lloyd. "We were kicked out of another biker gang." Killow says. "And  it was for the stupidest of reasons too!" Ultra Violet added, clearly annoyed with the recent events. "Wait, wait reasons, like plural?" The green ninja asks. Killow nods as Ultra Violet spoke up. "Yes! Just because I accidentally ran over some other members doesn't mean that I should be kicked out. Or that I've burnt the leader doesn't mean I should be hunted down!" She complained more and more of the about the reason they were kicked out.

Most of the things were done by Ultra Violet, as a small bit of them were Killow. Which wasn't shocking, but the thing Ultra Violet did was; although some of the things were reasonable.
"Basically we were kicked out for the stupidest things, and that gang is stupid!" Ultra Violet says, as she fiddles with her hands. Lloyd slowly nods his head, he often forgets how wild she can get. "This was out 11th gang we were kicked out since we met you, Lloyd." Killow announces. "Wait, 11th? Oh.." Lloyd awkwardly responded. Ultra Violet huffed as she crossed her arms.

"Yeah." Killow blurts out. "We should honestly start out own biker gang, then we wouldn't get kicked out.." Ultra Violet mutters. "Wait, I'm a genius! We should start a biker gang, all three of us!" She happily adds. A wide grin appears on his face. Lloyd processes on what she said and he looked at her with a confused expression. "What? I can't be in a biker gang, I'm ninja. I literally stop them!" Lloyd exclaimed clearly confused. "Aw, why mot? From what it seems being a Ninja is sad." Ultra Violet says, trying to convince Lloyd. "I'm the green ninja, I'm a good guy!" The green ninja argued back.

"What about a fake identity?" Killow adds. Lloyd and Ultra Violet looked at Killow. "That's a great idea! You wouldn't be the green ninja, you'd be someone else!" Ultra Violet joyfully spoke. Lloyd was silent, but was quick to reply. "What? No, you guys are being absurd. I can't just make some other identity, I'm a good guy. I'd never do anything involved with criminal activities." Lloyd continues to argue against the duo. "Not with that attitude." Ultra Violet scoffs.

"Guys, what part of I'm a ninja, a good guy. Do you not understand?" Lloyd complained. "Come on just give it a try don't be a party pooper, if you don't like it you could always leave. Don't you want to make your friends happy?" Ultra Violet spoke. "Well.. yeah? But I also have friends who would be disappointed if I do that." Lloyd answered. "You wouldn't be friends with as your other identity, just give it a try. We'll let you lead the gang." She begs the green ninja. "Ugh, fine. Just one week then I stop." Lloyd finally gives up and agrees. Ultra Violet and Killow cheer. "Then let's get started!" Killow exclaimed.

Chapter 2: Goodnight Names

Summary:

Lloyd heads home and sees Kai after not seeing him for some time. The two talk and Lloyd texts his new friend.

Uh so I suck at summaries but you get the point right?

But anyways I'm glad a lot of people like this fic so after, especially since it was just the first chapter. :)

Although I don't really plan to work on this for that long since I just wanted to write the idea out, and I plan to write a lot of the story like as a summary or something like that. But idk what I'm even rambling about I just thought I'd mention it now

Lloyd looks at Ultra Violet then at Killow. "Wait what? How?" The green ninja spoke. "Well, the sooner we finish planing the the sooner we can to the things we want to." Killow says looking quickly at Lloyd before focusing more on Ultra Violet. "Why are you looking at me?" Ultra Violet questioned as she stared back at Killow. "You know why." Killow simply responded. Ultra Violet slightly frowned, "Whatever, let's just get it over with." She muttered.

"Okay, so back to planning. How could we even plan this kind of thing? Thingss?" Lloyd awkwardly asks, "Like how the gang works, it's rules, motives? Or my fake identity, how could I even hide myself?" The blonde continued his questions, proof that he was truly clueless. "Well we can start with identity, since it was the first things we thought of. And that is the easiest to plan. What will you go by, a full on fake name orrr.. some alter ego with a title?" Ultra Violet spoke up as she pulled her legs up on top the table. Lloyd gives out small 'uhs' and nervous hums before finally giving up and just shrugging his shoulders.

"Great.." She murmurs under her breath. "Let's just think of titles since they're easier, and can be more, I don't know, creative with." She continues with a slightly louder voice. A small silence was made before Killow speaks up. "What about the green dragon? Wait.. no.. that's a bit to obvious." Killow says before becoming quiet again. "What if you based your title off your personality?" He spoke up again as he perked up."Like what? He's the goody-two-shoes Green Ninja. If he were to do that he'd have a title that sounds like a toddler named him." Ultra Violet scoffs.

The duo began to argue with one of another on what Lloyd's alter ego could be titled. After a couple of minutes of this happening, the blonde pulled out his phone to check the time. Shit, it's 3:26 am. "Uh guys, as.. fun.. tonight was, I really should get going." The green ninja spoke up as he stood up. Killow and Ultra Violet just nodded as waved and went back to arguing with each other. He says his goodbyes and leaves.

Lloyd heads to his vehicle that was the shade of green of everything else he owns. The interior was sleek with gold, dark shades of green and black, the blonde adjusts the seat as he sat down. He boots up the car and the small screen above the wheel lit in his face. The green ninja began to driventhrough the city, the stars in the sky failing to shine from all the light. He keeps driving until hes near the city docks, he parks his car in a dark, empty alleyway and walks to the docks.

In the docks there was The Destiny's Bounty covered by white, large pieces of cloth.The blonde hops into the bounty, the wooden boards creaked with each step he took. Usually when Lloyd was at the bounty everyone was asleep or not there, which left him a bit reckless but today wasn't the case. "Lloyd?" Someone spoke up behind the green ninja. He turns around to see Kai, the fire ninja, behind him. "Kaii! Heyyy, what's up?" Lloyd quickly responded.

"It's like three in the morning. I thought you already here, in bed. You told me you head back home at one, why were you out so late?" The fire ninja questions, his worrying slipping through his voice. "Okay, firstly I said on average I head home, not that I always head home at the time. Secondly I was dealing with a crime and just took a lot of time." Lloyd spoke. Kai huffed, "Alright, just go to bed. The Prophesized Green Ninja needs sleep too." He says as he ruffled the blonde's hair. Lloyd couldn't help it but laugh.

"I know, I know. I just need to take a shower, then I'll head to bed." The green says as he pushes passed the burnette. Lloyd takes his showers and gets dress into his pajamas. When he heads straight to the sleeping quarters, he notices that Kai isn't in his bed. So he leaves the room to look for him, only after a couple of minutes of doing so he finds him.

The fire ninja was on the deck, looking beyond the golden railing he held onto and at the sea. "Hey, why do I have to go to bed while you get to act al gloomy?" Lloyd jokes as he walked to Kai. "Lloyd! You're supposed to be in bed." Kai replied as he placed his hands on his hips and slowly shook his head, playing along. "So are you, mister." The blonde snapped back as continued to joke around. The silence was replaced with the duo laughing.

"I'm serious, are you doing out here?" Lloyd asked as he slowly stopped laughing. There was another silence before Kai finally replied. "Do you with we'll ever find Master Wu? Like we've been at this for months, and we have just found nothing." Kai muttered, his voice was uncertain. "Knowing Master Wu, my uncle, he'd never give up on us. So neither will we. We'll keep looking for him because ninja never quit."  Lloyd reassured the burnette, a smile on his face following along. "Phhff, Since when did you get so wise, you get it from being destiny's favorite didn't you?" Kai replied with a chuckle.

"Yeah.. destiny's favorite. Let's just head to bed. I'm tired." Lloyd quickly turned around and went back to the sleeping quarters. Kai follow him. As they both go to their own beds. The green ninja lays in bed trying to sleep but couldn't, he could hear Kai's words echo in his head. Destiny's Favorite. An odd thing to think of but it was just.. Lloyd quickly pulled out his phone and texts Ultra Violet. 'I think I might have the perfect tilte.' He texted and sends.

Chapter 3: New Man

Summary:

Destiny's Favorite meets Killow and Ultra Violets closest friend.

Notes:

I'm just going to say this in every character probably, but anyways don't expect this to be so well written as I'm just writing this to get this out of my head.

But I am glad people are enjoying this!
(I kinda feel bad for rushing this but I just wanted to post)

Also I might not post for sometime or just have a longer time to post a new chapter due to a family member of my recently passing away. I'm sure you'll guys understand!

When Lloyd arrived at Laughy's the next night Killow and Ultra Violet just started throwing names to call the gang the moment he entered. No hellos, or how was your day, just random gang names. There were some names to say the least interesting, like Overlords, or the hands of time. He had to explain to them that they couldn't use those names as it seem like they were trying to steal others name/title. They just told him that it would make it even better.

Probably after a hour of doing this Killow said a name that Ultra Violet agrees with. Lloyd just agreed to not was another hour of his life watching those two fight over some stupid name. So now there was a new biker gang, The Sons of Garmadon, which was going to be lead by him, or what he'd be known as Destiny's Favorite, Killow, and Ultra Violet. There's no way the ninja wouldn't be able found out, everything just felt so obvious. Heck he would be spotted on day one, he's one of Ninjago's most recognizable faces. ltra Violet just told him if he was just so paranoid, he could create a disguise for himself.

She was right, he could, he probably should. But what, a mask maybe? Although, He couldn't just by some mask at a store, that would be lazy. He'd probably have to make his own mask, without the other ninja seeing it. It was definitely easier said that done, he spent probably a week straight waking up a hour earlier to work on his mask. But when he finally finished it, Killow liked it and Ultra Violet just said its a good enough mask.

The masked he used was some mask he found on the bounty, it probably was a leftover from a Halloween costume. The mask was definitely old, it from the nose and below was just missing from the mask. He still used it though, he'd painted it a darken gold with were the eyes were black and looked like they were melt, or he tried to make it look like. On what was left the nose was a small orange-ish gold triangle. Lloyd was honestly quite proud of the mask.

For the first couple of days Killow, and Ultra Violet did everything. They had people join the gang and do small things like find ways to make cash for the gang or just have them do something for entertainment. Probably by only four-ish days since The Sons of Garmadon started up they gained roughly a hundred people. Mainly because Killow and Ultra Violet told their friends, Lloyd truly underestimated how many they knew. Most of their friends they'd just mention to Lloyd and he'd see them hanging hanging around the other members but this one was different.

Lloyd hops out of his vehicle before commanding to park away from Laughy's. He put on his mask and heads into Laughy's. When he entered he went straight to Ultra Violet and Killow only to notice a new person standing near them. The person wore all black with the expectation of his red gloves and the red tint on his biker helmet. They probably were in mid conversion before the new person pointed at him.

"Ah! Ll- ..Destiny's Favorite!" Killow exclaimed as he notices Lloyd. The blonde smiles and waves and he stood near him. "Hey." He responded. "So, Destiny's Favorite this is our friend Mr. E. You would have met him sooner if he wasn't out looking for something." Ultra Violet spoke up as she looked at Mr. E then him. The man pulled out his head and Lloyd shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. E." The blonde says as he pulled his hand away. Mr. E doesn't say anything he just nods his head.

"Oh yeah, he doesn't speak just so you know." Killow simply says. Lloyd nods. "So what was he out looking for?" The blonde curiously asks. "He was just about to show us." Ultra Violet says with a slight grin. As of on cue Mr. E pulls out two scrolls and places them on a nearby table. One was in almost perfect condition as the other was clearly scuffed and rinkled. Killow swiftly grabs the scroll in good condition, and Ultra Violet takes the damaged scroll. She looks over it before throwing back on the table. "That's bullshit, you left us for weeks only to get a scroll filled with gibberish. Killow what's does the other scroll say?" Ultra Violet mutters before asking Killow.

"I don't know, I'm not done reading it." Killow answers as he pulled the scroll closer to his face. Ultra Violet sighs as she tries to wait for him to finish reading. Lloyd grabbed the scroll that Ultra Violet first tried to read. Upon opening it Lloyd realizes why she couldn't read it, it was written in old tongue. He starts reading it, there wasn't much words but it definitely made the pictures much clearer. When he finished reading he notices that Killow was still reading, and Ultra Violet was right next to him asking if he was done yet.

"Ultra Violet, I've read the other scroll." Destiny's Favorite spoke up as he cleared his throat. Ultra Violet turned her attention to him and gave him a werid look. "What are you talking about? It's written in scribbles." She firmly spoke. Lloyd places the scroll open on the table. "Actually, it's written in old tounge, and the scroll talks about when The First Spinjitzu Master came to Ninjago." He responded as he pointed at the text.

Chapter 4: Only Mask

Summary:

They finally read the scrolls and do something called thinking, or Lloyd-.. I mean destiny's favorite tries to make them actually think

"What?" Killow and Ultra Violet spoke in sync. Killow finally finished reading. "Old tounge? You guys don't get taught this?" Destiny's Favorite asks as the duo gave him a confused look. "We don't even know what that is." Killow blurts out. The masked blonde pauses before speaking. "Oh, well it's a ancient language in Ninjago." Destiny's Favorite bluntly says. The duo still give a confused face along with Mr. E just idly standing with them, expressionless.

"Isn't Ninjargon an ancient language, what makes old rum-" The masked blonde quickly inturpted Ultra Violet. "Tounge." "-rum, tounge same thing. Anyways what makes it so different?" Ultra Violet asks. The blonde pauses before speaking up again. "The difference, besides the fact they're languages with their own rules, is that Old Tounge is a dead language. No part of Ninjago has it as a language, barely anyone understands it, let alone speak it." He casually responded as he pointed at different text on the scroll.

"And you speak it? Killow asks. Destiny's Favorite slightly chuckles, "No, no, it's too difficult to speak it. I just know how to read and write it." The masked blonde replies. Ultra Violet sighs before speaking, "Ain't you going to tell us what it says?" She questions leaning closer to the scroll. Destiny's Favorite awkwardly chuckles with a nod. He picked up the scroll, clears his throat and begins.

"The First Spinjitzu Master fled the first realm in search of a new realm to call home. The Oni and Dragon's fought over many factors, land, control, power and especially the child of both species. The First Spinjitzu Master, he'd try over, and over to help the different species get along. After endless times it never worked upon giving up he fled to Ninjago, but did not come alone. Oni had followed the child as a last attempt to have the child. Which had them living in this realm until being chased out by The First Spinjitzu Master himself."

Destiny's Favorite told the story on the scroll, saying word for word. It was short and got straight to the point but lacked the needed information. A short silence was made until Ultra Violet broke it. "That's it?" She's asks. Destiny's Favorite slightly nods. "Oh, that was short." She's adds. "Yeah" Kllow adds. The masked blonde put the scroll he read down on the table. "I'm aware, but that's what the text says." The blonde responds, he looks over to Killow. "What about the scroll you have Killow? What is about?" He asks the man. "Could you read it out, it's written like Ninjargon from a thousand years ago." Killow handed Destiny's Favorite the scroll. "Probably because it was, dimwit." Ultra Violet snarks under her breath.

The other scroll the blonde held in his hands were unlike the first one he had. This one was filled with beautiful drawings, not just symbols. What really made the scroll stand out was the use of watercolors, not many scrolls have been painted. The only scrolls he knew that used watercolors were..

The masked blonde did a, unintentionally, dramatic gasp.

"This scroll was made by The First Spinjitzu Master himself." He murmurs, letting his thought slip out. The blonde could feel himself getting giddy bit he quickly pushed that down and began to read the scroll.

He clears throat, and takes a deep breath before speaking. "While the Oni were in this realm, they didn't bring just themselves. Along with them they carried their culture, their life styles, their creations. The Oni Temple was dedicated to their life and to honor their culture from outside home. But all was abandoned in rush to flee the realm. Their food, literature, tools, and artifacts. In their rush they carelessly left their most powerful artifacts, the oni masks. The blood red mask, Mask of Vengeance, The fire orange mask, Mask of Deception, The destructive violet mask, Mask of Hatred. Each mask carried its own power for those wearing it. But all together the three mask lead the power to resurrect a being of oni blood. To protect Ninjago, I, The First Spinjitzu Master have hidden the masks. The Mask of Vengeance given to the most protected place in Ninjago, the Mask of Vengeance held under Ninjago's royalty to be hidden, and the Mask of Hatred left in the temple to never see anything but darkness. These mask are to stay like this 'till end of time. All masks hidden and protected to never be brought together again."

Destiny's Favorite took a deep breath of air as he finished speaking. Everyone was sitting in silence, processing all the information. "So Mr. E. Buddy, you left us for weeks just for two scrolls about oni? An some oni masks, sure they seem powerful but when you left it was just us three, and sure we have like almost a hundred people. A hundred people with out some sort of magical powers ain't going to get us these oni masks" Ultra Violet calmly snaps at Mr. E. The mute man shrugged as he somehow pulled out some paper and a pen from a pocket on his leather jacket. He jots something down on the paper and basically threw it at Ultra Violet. She catches the paper and reads it before showing it to Killow and Destiny's Favorite, as she did she repeats what the paper says.

"First scroll admits to First Spinjitzu Master being a child of oni and dragon. Second scroll says oni mask bring back dead ones of oni blood. First Spinjitzu Master oni blood so sons are too, bring back Garmadon. Wait Garmadon is a son of The First Spinjitzu Master, how do you know this Mr. E?" She questions after reading put the paper. Mr. E just nods. "Okayyy.." Ultra Violet replies. "What are we supposed to do this information?" Killow asks. "Are you saying to bring back Garmadon, but he was purified, he was good before his death. And I don't think a old, good man would like to be involved in the biker gang." The masked blonde directly spoke to the mute man. "Unless the oni maks some how corrupt him into like Lord Garmadon." He adds. Mr. E just nods.

"You're saying we bring back Garmadon but like evil?... How, and when?" Ultra Violet spoke, pauses before asking in a playful tone with a matching grin. "Guys! We have to be rational about this. We're just barely a hundred people, we don't have powers,- " Destiny's Favorite lied, he could you use his powers but that would blow his cover. "-and we know nothing about these oni masks what if it was some trick played on Mr. E? Even if it were true, why bring a dead man out of his resting spot without a real reason?" The masked blonde spoke, he didn't know if he was being cautious or just over thinking. Either way he had to get them to actually think about it and not immediately act out.

Chapter 5: Consequences Don't Exist?

Summary:

Destiny's Favorite gives in after long thinking. And just adjusts to being a official leader of Sons of Garmadon.

Also sorry that its a bit short, I just rushed this a bit.

"We do have a real reason, the reason that it would be fucking amazing." Ultra Violet spoke with a grin on her face. Destiny's Favorite gives put an exhausted sigh before turning to Killow. "Killow do you have a better reason?" The masked blonde asks. Killow just slowly shakes his head. "You had the reason as Ultra Violet didn't you?" Destiny's Favorite spoke. Killow nods. "What about you, Mr. E? Do you have a valid reason?" The blonde questioned as he looked over at Mr. E. The mute man shrugged as he pulls out another peice of paper and writes on it.

Written on the paper was 'The green ninja could either be afraid to fight his father, or could tempt him to be against the rest of the ninja.' Oh how badly he wishes to scream but Destiny's Favorite just sighs. "Guys, you aren't think this that much. What if he doesn't come back as Lord Garmadon? What are you guys going to do? It's just better we stop this." He says. "What?! Why?! Just why?!" Ultra Violet exclaimed. "You know why." The masked blonde snapped. Ultra Violet sighs, "Destiny's Favorite, you, me, and Killow private talk now."

Ultra Violet leads Killow and Destiny's Favorite out of Laughy's and into a nearby alleyway. It was dead silent until they got to the alleyway. "Lloyd, why are you hesitant on this. Like if we do this you could get your dad back." She spoke up, trying to convince him. Destiny's Favorite slowly takes off his mask. "We don't know much about these masks, and from what I know oni haven't been known as the most nurturing beings." Lloyd answered, taking a serious tone. "Why are you so uptight. You got to stop being the green ninja and be Destiny's Favorite. You made that mask for a reason." Ultra Violet spoke as she points at the mask in the blonde's hands.

"Give yourself a break, live a little; plus we know how much you cared for dad. Just imagine seeing your dad again. If the oni masks don't change be him, then they don't change him. We'll have our fun and you'll get you dad." Killow says as he took one step closer to Lloyd. The blonde looked at him then at the ground. "I guess I could think about." He mutters awkwardly. Ultra Violet chuckles, "There we go, here's Destiny's Favorite." She playfully punches Lloyd's arm as Killow and him laugh along.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Killow and Ultra Violet  looked at Lloyd as he scrambled to take his phone out of his pocket. Lloyd pulls out his phone and sees and alarm as gone off, his alarm to head home. "I'm sorry guys I have to head back, see you tomorrow night!" The blonde announced as he began to run out the alleyway way, waving his friends goodbye. Heading back to his vehicle and riding all the way back to the bounty to get ready to restart his day.

When he gets in the bounty it was quite silent, hus best guess anyone here was asleep or there was just no one. Lloyd carefully walks to the sleeping quarters to see all the beds empty, another night in the bounty alone. He could head back since no was really waiting for him here, but he was already tired. It be better to finally go to bed. Lloyd gets into his pajamas, and lays in his bed. Ready to sleep.

But he can't, his father, he couldn't. He shouldn't. But if he did, if he did resurrect him, he could hug his father again. He could share his day with him, laugh off his worries with his dad. Why though? His dad rests now, he's in peace. And yet Lloyd yearns for his father's love again, maybe even no matter the cost. No, he being crazy he doesn't need to do this. Lloyd shifts in his bed, wanting to stop thinking. Wanting to just finally sleep...
He's going to end up doing, so what's the point. He'll tell Killow and Ultra Violet that he's in tomorrow.

The next night he tells them, he was hesitant but he wouldn't regret it, right? His 'only doing it for one week' was canceled. Officially he was spending his nights being one of the leaders of Sons of Garmadon. Which wasn't that bad, usually Killow and Ultra started to head out to search for where at least one of the oni masks were. It was actually nice staying at Laughy's though, he'd hangout with the members of Sons of Garmadon before heading out.

When he been a official leader for Sons of Garmadon there was a new person. They weren't in the gang, but seemed a bit confused. They wore basically all black so there wasn't much to identity them. The person went up to one of the members of Sons of Garmadon and then the member pointed at him. The mysterious person nods and pulls down their hood slowly, cautiously looking around as they walked up to Destiny's Favorite.

Chapter 6: Bonding Time

Summary:

Destiny's Favorite hangs out with the mysterious person before quickly heading out to help Kai and Zane as the green ninja.

The mysterious person removed the hood to reveal their white blonde hair. Their hair was styled into a bun, held tightly by black chopsticks and bangs that were pushed behind their ears. The makeup on their was simple but was a bit smudged. Once they're were close enough they began to speak. "Excuse me, are you one of the leaders of Sons of Garmadon?" They spoke. Destiny's Favorite quickly cleared his throat and responded, "Yes, I am one of them. What do you need?" They took a step closer to Destiny's Favorite and stood up straight. "I am Harumi, the Jade princess of Ninjago City. And I wish to join the Sons of Garmadon." Harumi spoke.

"Wait Ninjago City has a royal family?" Destiny's Favorite questioned. "What- Yes! You know, the Empress and Emperor live in the Palace of Secrets? It's not that far from the shore." Harumi says, slightly annoyed. "Um, I don't remember hearing of that place. I guess I'll believe you. But why would the princess want to join a biker gang?" The masked blonde questions. Harumi gives out a small chuckle, "It's simple, ive heard what the gang plans to do. I wish to see Lord Garmadon rise again. He's the very reason I was able to survive the Great Devourer attack. He's practically my hero." Harumi says with a smile. "Weren't the ninja the ones who stopped the Great Devourer though?" The masked blonde says. "No, the ninja weren't the ones who killed the Great Devourer." Harumi snarled.

"Oh yeah." Destiny's Favorite awkwardly says. He couldn't believe that he forgot that. "Can I join or no?" Harumi bluntly asks. "Oh um, well. I'm not the one who usually says who change join.. Thats more of Killow or Ultra Violets job." The masked blonde says as he fiddles with his fingers. "Then what do you do?" Harumi asks. The blonde just shrugged his shoulders, "I guess I'll be useful with delaying in ninja in the future." He responded as he sits down on a nearby chair with a table. Harumi follows and sits down at the same table. "I'll just wait for them to come back.. Do you know when they come back?" She spoke, looking around from her spot.

"Soon maybe, they went off to look from something." Destiny's Favorite says. "Ooo. What are they looking for? Is it related to bring Garmadon. I've heard a lot about that but nothing about how you guys are going to do it." Harumi rambles slightly. The masked blonde nods, "Oni masks." He says. "Wait, oni masks?" Harumi spoke, her head poking up a little. Destiny's Favorite nods. "Is there one called Mask of Vengeance?" Harumi says. She stands up with both of her hands planted on the table. "How do you kno-" The white blonde chuckles, "The Mask of Vengeance is in the Palace of Secrets. And I can make it easy to get the mask, you just got to let me join." She added.

"Yeah, Ultra Violet and Killow will definitely let you in." Destiny's Favorite spoke giving Harumi a thumbs up. Harumi frowns, "You're literally one of the leaders can't you just let me join?" She saids, holding back her annoyance. "Technically yes, but I discussing it with them." The masked blonde quickly says. The white blonde groans, "You're as pathetic as you look." She snarled under her breath. "What?! For your information I am I as strong as the Ninja!" The blonde shouts before quieting down. "Sure, cause people as strong as the ninja dress like a 13 year boy who just found out what Hot Topic is." Harumi sarcastically replied. The masked blonde gasps, "For your information these are the only dark clothes I have." He says.

"So you're 13? You didn't exactly deny it, soo-  I bet you have a bedtime." Harumi rudely teases. "I do not hav-" Destiny's Favorite spoke until being interrupted by his phone ringing. "I bet it your parents." The white blonde softy spoke. The masked blonde glared at her before heading outside to see who was calling him. Once outside of Laughy's he sees who's calling him, Kai. He finally answers the call.

"Lloyd, can you pick me and Zane up?" Kai immediately says.

"What? Don't you know I'm busy with watch out?" Lloyd replies as he paces in front of Laughy's.

"But you answered, so you got to be able to. It's late we could all head home and hangout tomorrow." Kai says trying trying to convince Lloyd through the phone.

"Kai, I just can't.." Lloyd glances at the parking lot of Laughy's. "I'm waiting with someone for someone." He continues.

"Fine, you can pick us up then go back to whatever you're doing." Kai says.

"Why do I even need to pick you two up? Can't you get Pixal do that?" Lloyd questions.

"Yeah, but I miss you green bean. Dont you want to spent more time with your brothers. Pleaseeeeee." Kai pleads.

"Ugh fine, just give me a moment okay? Bye." Lloyd awkwardly spoke.

"I texted you our coordinates. Alright, byeeee. See you soon!! Zane says drive safely!" Kai exclaimed before hanging up.

Lloyd sarcastically laughs before heading back into Laughy's. He heads straight to Harumi. "So was it your parents?" She teases. "No, I'm going to help a friend, I'll be back." Destiny's Favorite told Harumi. "Okay? Bye." Harumi responded. The masked blonde quickly turns around and heads out Laughy's again. He runs a couple blocks before finding his vehicle in the alleyway he parked it in. He hops in and takes off his mask. Lloyd rushes to put on his gi before heading out to the alleyway. He opens his phone to see the coordinates, he knew where they were. Chen's Noodle House.

When Lloyd pulls up in front of Chen's he immediately sees Kai and Zane run out of it and straight to his vehicle. Lloyd opens the roof of his vehicle. "Lloyd!" Kai exclaimed with a smile. "Why were you guys at Chen's?" The blonde asks as Kai and Zane hop in. "We were helping Skylor with bad people as she was closing up." The fire Ninja spoke. "Kai wanted to see Skylor." Zane bluntly spoke at the same time as Kai. The fire ninja glared at the ice ninja. "Just drive." Kai muttered. Lloyd chuckles as he closes the roof of the vehicle and starts to drive. "How did ypu guys get to Chen's?" The green ninja asks. "Well we were on a mission and our vehicle kinda got smashed into a wall.." The burnette spoke before giving a awkward laugh.

"Oh, so you guys just walked to Chen's?" Lloyd questioned. "We were going to walk to the bounty until Kai realized we were walking past Chen's." Zane says. Kai groans, "It's not embarrass Kai hour." The fire ninja says as he covers his face with his hands. Lloyd and Zane laugh a little. "You're fine, plus we're almost at the bounty just two more turns." The green ninja spoke. "Why were you waiting with someone for someone?" The ice ninja asks. "Um, some citizen was waiting for someone outside and I just watched from a distance to make sure they'd be okay since it was in a bad part of the city." Lloyd awkwardly spoke. He hopes that they believe his lie. "Did they know that you were watching them?" The nindroid asks. "Yes, they did know. I did tell them I had to go for a bit." The blonde answers.

Lloyd continues driving until he hits the docks, he stops when the wooden docks starts. "Alright we're here." The green ninja says. Kai quickly rushes out and speed walks to the bounty. Zane thanks Lloyd from driving them back home and walks to the bounty. Lloyd sighs and begins to drive back to Laughy's. When Laughy's was a couple blocks away the blonde parks back in a alleyway, he quickly gets out of his gi and back into the clothes he wore earlier. He puts on his mask and hops out.

Chapter 7: Back to the Plan

Summary:

Destiny's favorite returns back to Laughy's and Harumi talks a little on how she'll be helpful.

Destiny's Favorite walks up to Laughy's, he looks over at the parking lot and spots Ultra Violet's and Killow's bikes. He sighs slightly at relief, as he really didn't want to be alone with the prince anymore. The masked blonde walks into Laughy's, hearing the loudness of talking, yelling, and music all mixed into one again. He scans the room for the two in the room. Careful to not miss them and get to them as looks. Once he finds them he heads to them, seeing them talking with Harumi and Mr. E. "Hey! I'm back!" Destiny's Favorite awkwardly exclaimed as he was close enough to the group. They all looks at him, Harumi and Mr. E glanced at him with a unreadable expression. As for Ultra Violet and Killow they both smile at him, glad to see their friend again.

"What's up! I seriously thought you left us!" Ultra Violet jokes, playfully punching the blondes arm. Destiny's Favorite laughs through the slight pain from her playful punches. "Harumi told us about your little interaction with each other.. You do know being a leader means you can makes decisions, right? You don't need to do it with us." Ultra Violet says, the playful tone in her voice was slowly replaced with seriousness. She looks sternly at him. He knew she meant it, but he wasn't quite sure how to respond. He knew how to make decisions. He wasn't a child, well actually he probably was.. he didn't really know anymore. "He knows. Harumi as you were saying." Killow interrupts his train of thought, allowing for Harumi to keep speaking.

"Alright, so besides of having one of the oni masks in my own home. I have a pretty great plan idea to not only get the mask in our possession, but to also hid with the ninja. You know to find out secret stuff." Harumi spoke, her hands proudly moving along as she spoke. Ultra Violet awkwardly glances at Destiny's Favorite before looking back at Harumi. "And what if we already have someone pretty close to the ninja?" She spoke up. "Well I plan to be even closer." The white hair girl simply responds. "Elaborate." Killow says while leaning slightly closer, interested in the plan.

She clears her throat before speaking. "When the Sons of Garmadon get hold of a oni mask, I'll act to the Emperor and Empress that I basically am scaread of them coming and getting out oni mask. I some how convince them to allow the ninja into the place to protect us, get the Sons of Garmadon to break in. Explosion this, Explosion that, the Emperor and Empress die, the ninja pity me, I join them then at the perfect time I reveal that Im with the Sons of Garmadon. And boom we summon Garmadon."

Harumi spoke a little fast, it took everyone to take a moment to make sense of what she just said. Mr. E gives Ultra Violet a look, she nods in response. "So, Harumi. Is that your final plan or..?" Ultra Violet says, a little unsure. "What. OH. No, no, no.. it's just a rough idea of what's its like." Harumi says with a soft smile. "And what if we don't want the ninja involved at all?" Destiny's Favorite spoke up. The hair hair girl laughs slightly. "With the plan to resurrect the green ninja's father, we'd be better off including them into the plan then trying to do it under their noses." Harumi says, her tone somehow getting under the asked blondes skin.

"You do have a point." The blonde murmurs. "Well, definitely consider your plan Harumi." Ultra Violet says, trying to sound uninterested into her plan. "Great!" Harumi happily says as she glances at the clock. "And good timing too, I have to go, bye!" She says before turning away and heading to the exit of Laughy's. The four sit in silence, no one really doing anything. "So she's a part of the gang now?" Destiny's Favorite awkwardly questions. Killow, Ultra Violet, and Mr. E look at him and just kinda shrug. "Like we don't exactly have choice, she knows where we hang out and who we are." Ultra Violet replies. "Yeah, plus she basically lives with the one of the masks." Killow adds on.

Destiny's Favorite sighs, they were stuck with the princess no matter what. They need her to make it easier to get the mask of Vengeance, and if they didn't let her in she'd probably report them to the police. "Alright so she's in. What do we do now?" The masked blonde spoke. "We go back to planning, duh." Ultra Violet says as she playfully punches the blondes arm again. "Of course, I kinda forgot." Destiny's Favorite responds, a simple smile appearing on his face.

Chapter 8: Museum Attack

Summary:

Destiny's Favorite is dragged into breaking into the museum! (So fun, and he totally not worried about what the ninja will have to deal with when they're done, woo hoo)

Notes:

I really underestimated how popular this fic is, I was not expecting anyone to comment literally the day I post a new chapter.

A little random but I feel like everyone is a bit out of character since I haven't watched s8 in some time, and haven't really written about this fic until recently.

Also going from not posting for like four month to posting a day after updating is crazy

It's been about week-ish since the princess joined the group. Some nights she meets up with the gang, and other nights she's doesn't. And with all honesty, Lloyd Destiny's Favorite seriously doubts she likes him. He's been meaning to ask her but he just never has the opportunity. Its whatever though, it's not exactly important. There's a much important matter happening and all because he just nods and agrees. Ultra Violet and Killow mentioned about doing something as a test run for the masks. And without properly paying attention he mindlessly agrees.

Destiny's Favorite stood next to Ultra Violet and Killow as they try to get the attention of the gang members. The trio stand at their usual spot at Laughy's, which was the highest place to be in the bar. "Everyone!" Ultra Violet yells, a couple people below them stop whatever they were doing at look at them. Most people we still talking and not paying attention. The masked blonde looks down at the people and then at Ultra Violet. When he looked at her she had her annoyed face on, the slight frown and glare in her eyes. "Everyone shut your fucking voices up!" She yells bit louder then before. She leaned forward and held to the railings on the edge.

Destiny's Favorite finches back slightly at her loudness, and Killow seems to be unbothered. He quickly regains his composure to seem unbothered as well. Ultra Violet smiles as she sees (at least) everyone looking at them. "Who's ready to break into the museum!" She's proudly announces as the people began to cheer. They were loud but were giving the response she wanted. "Jeez, do you really need to get them is loud?" Killow speaks up. Ultra Violet laughs before responding, "Well we gotta have them prepared." She spoke with a cheerful grin on her face. "To break into a museum?" Destiny's Favorite bluntly said.

"Well you know, to test out how well these fuckheads can do." Ultra Violet says as she gestures towards the people with her hands. "Don't- Don't call them that. And what is the reason were choosing the museum?" Destiny's Favorite awkwardly says before asking. "I don't know! We're just going to see basically any if they have some good skills." She admits, throwing her hands up defensively. "Basically we're just going to fuck around in the museum?" Killow says, Ultra Violet smiles and nods. The masked blonde sighs, "So you're going to mess up the museum and leave the ninja to deal with the property damage?" He asks. "Come on, don't be like that. We'll try not to mess it up so much." She spoke after playfully ruffling with the blondes hair.

Destiny's Favorite frowns as he quickly fixes his hair. "Why did I ever agree to helping make this gang." He says before Ultra Violet throws a helmet at him. The masked blonde catches the helmet and looks back at her. "Because we're bringing back your dad. Come on now, I bet smashing a couple windows will make you feel better." Ultra Violet replies as she begins to walk to the door; Killow follows her. "This was only supposed to be a one week thing." The masked blonde murmurs to himself as he follows his friends. "Come one everyone, get your asses moving!" She yells before walking outside, with others also following along.

Once outside in the parking lot everyone heads to their bikes but Destiny's Favorite. "Get over here blondie, you're riding with me." Ultra Violet spoke up, a grin on her face. Destiny's Favorite swallows the lump forming in his throat, at least he was given a helmet. He head over to her and her bike. When Ultra Violet is comfortably sitting on her bike, the masked blonde hops on. He wraps his arms around her waist. "Have you ridden a motorcycle before?" Ultra Violet asks as she starts the motorcycle. "Yeah? I've driven one myself before." The blonde answers awkwardly. "Then what are you nervous about?" She smuggly says before driving the bike forward.

The bike drives over the small area of grass and sidewalk that separates the parking lot and the road. Ultra Violet let's out some werid yodel. Destiny's Favorite holds tightly to Ultra Violet, trying to keep himself on the bike. Killow and members of the gang follow behind, although killow does speed up to them. They fly past the cars and other vehicles on the road, the speed staying consistently fast. Destiny's Favorite was quite surprised on how well the others kept up, or how the police wasn't following them. Yet again, they weren't the greatest crimes, there's been countless times where he or the ninja had to deal with some petty crime because of the police didn't. That wasn't really the point though.

"I see it up a head!" Killow exclaims as he began to speed up. "Nuh uh! We I get to be there first!" Ultra Violet yells as she also speed up, Destiny's Favorite tightly holds onto her as they approach Killow. She laughs as she passes Killow and head for the museum. As they drew near to the building, Ultra Violet drags her feet on the ground and turns the bike slightly to slow it down. They were a few inches away from hitting the building...
The masked blonde takes a shaky breath of relief. As they both get of the bike Ultra Violet spoke up. "Don't be dramatic you survived." Members began to park their bikes near Ultra Violet's, dispite it being on the sidewalk.

Ultra Violet turns over to face everyone. "Alright fuckers! We came here to do one thing and one thing only, and that's to do whatever the hell we can to to the museum!" She exclaims loudly. "Yeah!" Everyone cheerfully yelled back as some of them threw rocks at the windows. People began to enter the building through the broken windows and they could be heard yelling. "Hey, you ready to smash a window?" Ultra Violet spoke up as she picks up a rock from the ground. Then throwing the rock up and down in her hand as she looks over at Destiny's Favorite. 'I'm so sorry Kai, Nya, Zane, Jay, Cole, or which ever of you guys will have to deal with this.' The masked blonde thought to himself.

Notes:

The ninja are going to be passed when they find out who Destiny's Favorite, idk why I'm mentioning that rn tho. They don't even know about the Sons of Garmadon yet.

Also Ultra Violet was born to swear in like almost every sentence because I say so.

Chapter 9: Don't Reflect on Your Life

I give up on having this actually update the date it was posted.

Destiny's Favorite follows Ultra Violet into the museum through the window she broke open. She looks over at the masked blonde and snaps her fingers in his face. "Hey, whats that look on your face. We're here for fun not to reflect life choices." She spoke with a serious yet joking tone. "Yeah, um I just don't know about this." He replies awkwardly. Ultra Violet takes a long look at the blonde. "Just listen to what I literally just said and smash something." She responds. "Property damage is literally illegal, especially to ancient artifacts." Destiny's Favorite bluntly spoke.

"Shhhh, shut up. Just shut up and watch me." Ultra Violet quickly says as she walks up to a large, fancy looking vase. The bottom of the vase was sea blue, while the other half was plain white. Destiny's Favorite quickly understands what she's about to do, "Wait dont-!" He heads over to Ultra Violet, his hand reaching out to pull her away. But he was too late, she pushes the vase and in a anticlimactic turn of events the vase just falls to its side. The masked blonde sighs in relief before Ultra Violet stomps he foot down the vase, breaking the vase in large pieces.

"It's just a vase, plus it's just broken into.." Ultra Violet points her finger at the pieces, muttering the number of counted pieces. "It's just 16 pieces." She says. "My mom loved that vase." Destiny's Favorite mutters, his tone slightly defeated. "That bitch loved loved that thing?" She says. "Stop referring to others so inappropriately." The masked says, his tone quickly changing back to normal. The woman ignores what he said and start to talk again. "Well she is a bitch, like who just fucking leaves their little kid at a boarding school. Like I now you're having some identity crisis.. wait is this why you don't want to do this?" Ultra Violet asks.

"No, no its not. This is just literally illegal, I shouldn't have to repeat myself." Destiny's Favorite says. "Seriously this is fun! Wait here, I'll get Killow to help me show you some real fun!" Ultra Violet spoke as she run off, yelling Killow's name to find him. The masked blonde rolls his eyes, and he's not having a identity crisis. He walks away from the vase, going a different direction then what Ultra Violet took. He passes members of Son's of Garmadon smashing, ripping, breaking and destroying artifacts. The blonde keeps walking under he's in a room filled with bones.

The skeletons of many now distincted creatures were in the large room, and surprisingly it was untouched by the bikers. He slowly wanders the the room, keeping his thoughts silent for just a moment. He wasn't having identity crisis, he was Lloyd Garmadon, the green ninja.. Destiny's Favorite. That's fine, he's just living life, being a rebellious teen nothing bad will come out of this. Only good. The masked blonde's thoughts stop as he stand right in front of a familiar skeleton of the Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalicus, or nicknamed the Grundle.

Lloyd sighs, his arms crossed and resting on the railing surrounding the Grundle. It was such a peaceful, and yet their unnecessary violence ruins it. Suddenly the blonde pulls his hand up and shoots a ball of green energy at the base of a skeleton, as it hits the support pillar the bones began to fall down into a pile. A small smile manages to appear on his face, maybe Ultra Violet is right it was a little fun. No! It's wrong, it's illegal! Lloyd quickly reminds himself, shaking away any more thoughts.

The masked blonde's eyes wander around the room, something seemed off, he keeps looking until he sees it. Dim red lights flash from a alarm system with no sound. Great the system knows that they were there seem means someone is going to check it out. Fun.
Destiny's Favorite turns away from the Grundle and heads off to find Ultra Violet and Killow. He speed walks he way throughout the museum, ignoring the mess the Son's of Garmadon caused.

Once he finds them they wave their hands, gesturing for him to come to them. He need to tell them they should go before they get caught but before Destiny's Favorite could take another step towards his friends he's tackled down to the ground. His face forced down to the dirty floor, his body pinned down.

Chapter 10: Failed Attack

Summary:

Killow, Ultra Violet, and Destiny's Favorite have a small fight with Samurai X (much to Destiny's Favorite dismay). And flee the scene as Samurai X is left convulsing on the ground.

So, I'm not dead.. yay

I've just been lacking the motivation to pump out like 1,000 word chapters for like 3 different fics. Which is just sad because I love writing for my fics and updating them. :(

Anyways I blame me being in E.L.A 10-1 (idk how to describe this class for those who don't know it but it's kinda like a class for those who are great in E.L.A) for this semester. It's a exhausting class and makes me want to cry. I just can't wait for summer break so I can finally have more time to write.

While editing the tags I found out I made this a year ago???? I thought the fist chapter came out in July..

Anyways enough of me ranting enjoy the chapter and ignore its almost been like four months since the last chapter :3

Destiny's Favorite hisses as he feels his cheek pressed against the oddly cold floor, the slight twitch the person's fingers against his scalp as they pinned him. His own hands pulled behind him as if he was being arrested, and his legs held down by possibly another leg. "You must be the infamous three I've heard so highly about? Killow, Ultra Violet, and Destiny's Favorite?" A monotone voice spoke above him, the voice sounding almost robotic. From the corner of his eye he can see Ultra Violet step closer. Despite not clearly seeing her face, Destiny's Favorite knew there was a smirk on her face. "Oh so you've heard of us?" She says with a slight laugh, she jumps slightly in her place, ready to pounce.

The person slowly removes their hand out of the blonde's hair, "You learn a few things after talking with some members of Son's of Garmadon." They responded with the same monotone voice, which might have been their actual voice, yet it seemed off. Just as their hand was completely off Destiny's Favorite, he takes the opportunity to swiftly turn onto their stomach, kicking the person that held him down in the process. A metallic thud is made as the person hits the wall. The masked blonde sits up and gets a good look them.

It was the new Samurai X, although their look was different. They still sported the Samurai X symbol, but they didnt really have gold anymore, their outfit lacked the same amount of blue and instead a good chunk of it replaced with white and now had some red. Destiny's Favorite quickly stands back up to his feet, planting down firmly to the ground as he stands ready for a attack. "Listen, do we really need to fight?" The masked blonde says, trying to compromise with the samurai. When no one answers Ultra Violet speaks up. "No, but I wanna." She suddenly runs towards Samurai X, her hand pulled back just as he was only a few meters away from them. The samurai quickly rolls away before Ultra Violet hit them.

They swiftly stand back up on their own feet and glares at them. The masked blonde gives Ultra Violet a look before turning back to Samurai X. "Listen, we seriously don't need to fight. We can just peacefully leave." Destiny's Favorite spoke, trying to create a compromise. Samurai X stares at them, almost as if they're analyzing them. "No." The samurai says in their robotic monotone voice. Ultra Violet passes the blonde as she attempts to throw a kick but only for the samurai to kick her leg down, along with rest of Ultra Violet. She hits the ground harshly with a hard thud, Killow runs towards Samurai X and punches them straight in the head.

Yet again, they're thrown back onto the floor with another metallic thud. Samurai X quickly retreats back onto their as if nothing happened. Killow helps Ultra Violet back onto her feet before they stand on each side of Destiny's Favorite. Samurai X looks straight at them but something nagged at the blonde that they were just looking at him. "Let's kick their ass." Ultra Violet spoke as she straightened her stance, ready to pounce the samurai. "What!" The masked blonde awkwardly exclaims. He turns his head over at Ultra Violet and then at Samurai X. "No, no, no! We seriously don't mean to cause any trouble." He immediately adds on as he waves his hands.

Samurai X swiftly blots towards Destiny's Favorite and instead of fight it he accepts the force of push. The samurai is back to pinning the masked blonde on the ground by his back. Their hands pressed down the blonde's shoulders, although holding him down much lighter then before. "Who are you really?" Samurai X firmly questions, their face leaning slightly closer to examine him. Lloyd feels his heart racing at the question and panics. It felt like it happened quickly, too quickly. The blonde wraps his fingers around each of their wrists. Lloyd closes his eyes and shocks them. Now he couldn't shock people as harshly as Jay could gut he could do it strongly enough to distract someone.

Just as Destiny's Favorite opens his eyes he sees no green glow or sparks from his hands. But they wasn't the most shocking thing, he sees Samurai X convulsing from being shocked.  Small sparks fly off them as the masked blonde pushes them away. He watches them tremble slightly on the ground. "Let's get out of here!" The masked blonde yells as he rushes to stand up. Ultra Violet Killow nod as they run out of the room. Destiny's Favorite takes one last look at the samurai and knew he couldn't deny it, Samurai X was a ninroid. He turns away and follows the others out of the museum.

Notes:

Little fun fact, the story is written from Lloyd's perspective (despite being 3rd person) and so how he's referred to as (Destiny's Favorite or Lloyd) depends more on how he feels in the moment.

He'll only break out of his Destiny's Favorite alter ego when things just feel too emotional for him. Like in this chapter he's briefly referred to as Lloyd as he panics, another example of his is chapter 9 where he's feels frustrated and slightly confused.

Chapter 11: Mask of Deception

Summary:

Lloyd doing what he's supposed to do, a.k.a being the green ninja.

I've been procrastinating on writing this chapter but ta-da! Here it is, I feel like I cooked with this chapter.. except for the last two paragraphs.. we don't talk about 'em.

Brr-ring! Brr-ring!

Lloyd slowly opens his eyes despite them weighing down to fall back asleep. The obnoxious sound of his ring tone starts to echo in the shared sleeping quarters. The blonde manages to force himself out of bed to check his phone. As he walks over to the table where he left his phone, the green ninja passes by his teammates empty beds. The phone vibrates and loudly rings as he unplugs it, never bothering to check how was calling him at this hour. Just as his ring tone nears the end of its tune, Lloyd answers.

"Hello?" The blonde simply spoke as he brings the phone to his ear. "Finally! I've been trynna to call you for the past half-an-hour!" Ultra Violet exclaims harshly through the phone, causing him to pull the phone slightly away. "Man.. I am so sorry, I was sleeping. I thought we weren't going to meet up today." Lloyd sheepishly responds as the other end of the phone goes silent. "WHAT! Yesterday I told you today was the day we-" Her voice is immediately cut off as alarms began to blare from the bounty.

"I'm so sorry again, duty calls!" Lloyd always spoke into the phone before hastily hanging up on the call and placing his phone back on the table. He heads over to the closet on his left and kneels down to a red large drawer, with decorative green stickers and taped fan mail covering it. He opens it and pulls out a new pair of his iconic green gi. It was only just quite recently he was given a new pair of gi as his, along with the other ninja's, gi was beginning to become worn. This new gi was mainly the same shade of bright green.

The green ninja swiftly changes out of his pajamas and into his new gi. After putting it on Lloyd does a quick stretch to test out the flexibility of the gi. Once he's done that, he wastes no time to bolt of the room and onto the deck on the bounty. He doesn't bother moving the cloth that hides the controls of the bounty, instead he scans the white cloth for red. When he does he presses down on it and the alarm stops and he returns back to rushing out. The ninja hops out of the bounty and runs up the wooden dock.

"Pixal, what's going on?" Lloyd asks into his intercom. As he heads off the docks he crosses a road and heads into alleyway. "There's mass reportings of suspicious  activity in central Ninjago City. It's suspected Borg Tower will be involved." Pixal responds through the com. The green ninja process the information before commenting, "Borg Tower? Surprisingly it's been some time since it's been involved with anything." He chuckles slightly. "Alright, thanks Pix." The ninja adds on as he heads deeper I to the alleyway until he's standing in front of his vehicle. "Of course!" Pixal replies with her same monotone voice although with a much more cheerful tone.

Lloyd unlocks the vehicle and hops in, the headlights brightly shining in the darkness as the vehicle starts up. He presses down on the pedal immediately and swiftly drives out of the alleyway. The green vehicle makes sharp turns and dashes pass regular cars. The green ninja wastes no time to get to Borg Tower, with even managing not to run into a single red light. He won't deny that he misses this, being ninja. Lately he's been pushing off missions to be Destiny's Favorite. But getting a break from it all was something he needs.

As the green ninja is in central Ninjago City he slows down his driving and keeps a lookout for any sort of suspicious activity. Suddenly from the corner of his eye, there's a group of people hopping from one rooftop to the next. His first guess would be some delinquent teenagers, especially with how they seem to lack proper coordination. Lloyd lets go of the wheel and turns on autopilot. He jumps out of the car and heads to where he last saw the group of people. He scans his surroundings for them until he spots them again up ahead as they hop onto the tracks of a suspended monorail.

The green ninja unconsciously tilts his head in confusion, these people weren't very discreet. They were either that bad or deliberately wanting to be seen. He shakes away his thoughts as he begin to chase after them again. He takes the same route he'd seen them take, up onto the roofs to make his way to the monorail. Just as he manages to get on top the monorail he feels the track lightly shaking. "Huh, I wonder why its-" Lloyd suddenly speaks up before stopping as he sees the suspended monorail coming his way.

"Oh.. well that explains it." The ninja answers himself before turning away for the train and running away from it. Despite being a top the tracks of a suspended monorail, Lloyd didn't the trembling tracks to hold him back or even possibly cause him to fall. He keeps up the pace until spotting a obviously out of place line as it connects directly to Borg Tower. The green ninja glances at the train and at the line and seeing no other quick route he immediately grasps onto the line.
