The cycle had been long and he was tired. After yet another fight had broken out amongst the mecha he had gathered for his newly found cause, he decided he needed a break. He told himself that some fresh air would do him some good, lest he lash out and seriously injure one of them, or worse. He couldn’t have that, not right now. He needed every mecha he could get if he was going to actually get this idea off of the ground.
While he was taking his long needed breather, somewhat far away from the shabby little building his comrades and he had acquired, he had been expecting a lot of things to happen except that is, the one thing that actually did.
His helm tilted down and he looked at the smaller mech that was pressed against his chassis. He was kneeling, one pede on the ground as his other knee steadied himself.
The petite, orange mech was struggling to catch his breath, trembling against him, clutching to his
much
larger arm with such delicate little digits.
“Please,” The small mech gasped as he looked up. Glasses, cracked and laying askew over his nasal ridge hindered his view of the mechs optics but he could have
sworn
he had caught a glimpse of a breathtaking blue as the mechs helm shifted. “Don’t let them take me!”
