Chapter Text

As the sun started to shine through Home’s eye window, Wally woke up with a stretch. “Today’s gonna be a good day..” Wally mutters to himself between his stretches.

He quickly gets up from the bed, dusting his pajamas with his hands “Good morning Home.” Wally says with his regular monotonous voice that still showed the care in his tone.

Home responded with the shutter of the curtains moving back and forth almost like a wave of acknowledgment.

Wally smiles at the response before going towards his ‘manly’ vanity (Sally & Julie poked fun of how unmanly it was in the past when they noticed it :3)

Wally grabs the can of hair spray on the vanity’s table, spinning the bottle with expertise before pressing of the top part to release the actual hair product. Only to be met with the distressing sound of the hair spray going-

“Fsch-ch-sch-tssss”

Wally’s smile falters before shaking the can of hair spray and pressing the top again, only to be met with the same noise of zero product left.

“Oh no, I have to go meet Julie and Sally in-“ He cuts himself off to check his clock that showed that the time was 8:55 AM.

“5 minutes..?!” He says raising his voice but still retaining the monotonous tone. “Maybe i can get changed and rush to Howdy’s bodega real lickety split.” Wally says more calmly.

As he got changed to a new change of clothes consisting of a white button up shirt under a pretty big blue cardigan that kept slipping off his shoulder with a light yellow outlines, and a his regular pair of rainbow pants albeit a bit shorter. He decided to use a cute apple clip he found in his drawer, and he definitely didn’t forget to use his red neck bandanna.

He quickly got out of home and waved him goodbye from outside, heading to the bodega but before he got there, he heard a familiar voice call out to him

“Hey there! Are you a new neighbor?” Julie asked excitedly rushing towards him with Sally following her in pursuit.

As they both reached in front of him Sally panted tiredly from chasing her “You.. really shouldn’t run off like that..!” Sally says with pants and gasps of fatigue in her voice.

“Are you okay Sally?” Wally asks tilting his head with concern. They both turned to him surprised by his voice.

“Wait! I recognize that voice! Wally?!” Julie exclaims quite surprised.

“Wait, are you sure.?” Sally asks getting closer to Wally face inspecting him, unsure if it was truly Wally.

“Well I’m pretty sure I’m the only Wally here..?” Wally says scratching the back of his neck nervously as they looked at him wide eyed.
