Chapter 1: Why Does It Hurt?
Chapter Text
2012-Verse
(Raph’s POV)
These last few months have been hell on Earth, but we were able to defeat the Kraang, take back our city, and save everyone who was trapped in Dimension X during the invasion. It’s nice that things have finally calmed down for us.
But it’s hard for me to feel satisfied because we still have a problem. And that problem is Oroku Saki, aka the Shredder.
That piece of garbage tried to kill both my brother and my father and he damn near succeeded on both. He put my brother in a 3-month coma and permanently altered his voice. And Sensei, my father, my dad, he…he wasn’t himself when we saw him, as he regressed to acting like an actual rat. Thankfully, he was able to turn back into his normal self but the fact that all this bullshit happened because of Shredder pisses me off to no end.
It's a good thing I’ve taken drumming as a hobby more seriously, as I doubt the punching bag in the lair can handle a few more stabs. I’ve been able to use drumming as a way to unleash my rage and honestly, it’s been great. I’m now less hostile to my family and friends because of my drumming. It killed me to leave my drum set behind when we left New York. I tried using wooden spoons to drum but it just wasn’t the same.
Now, I’m on the drums, thinking about Shredder and how much I want him gone from this world. I told Leo about my feelings and…he just didn’t get it. I swear he takes honor and shit way too seriously. He treats it like it’s the most important thing in the world when it doesn’t mean jack shit in a war. And that’s what we’re going through right now. A war. A war with the worst human I’ve ever met.
A man who killed Tang Shen and had the audacity to blame Sensei. A man who kidnapped Miwa and brainwashed her into thinking Sensei was the enemy. A man who was willing to deal with aliens who were hellbent on mutating the planet just to get ‘payback’ on Sensei. A man who had no problem killing minors just because we were Sensei’s kids.
In my mind, someone like that shouldn’t exist on Earth anymore, yet Leo and the others think that what I’m feeling is wrong.
Why can’t they understand my perspective? Why can’t they get that I’m not killing Shredder for me? It’s for Leo, it’s for Sensei, it’s for my family, it’s for New York, it’s for Tang Shen, it’s for anyone who was either killed or had their lives destroyed by that monster! WHY CAN’T THEY UNDERSTAND THAT?!?
(3rd Person POV)
The more images of Shredder, an injured Leo, and an injured Splinter popped up in his mind, the harder he played.
He was so focused on his drumming that he didn’t notice Leo entering his room, yelling his name. But when he did hear his name, he stopped drumming to give his older brother some attention.
“What?” asked Raph.
“Are you okay, Raph? You were hitting the drums pretty hard today,” said Leo.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. I’m just a little rusty, that’s all. Haven’t touched this thing in months.” said Raph.
“Okay. Well, I wanted to let you know that dinner is ready,” said Leo.
“Cool. I’ll be there shortly,” said Raph.
And just as Leo was about to leave, he turned around and asked, “Raph, are you sure you’re alright?”
“Yes, Leo. Damn, you don’t have to be a mother hen all the time. I’m fine.” Raph reiterated.
“I just wanted to check,” Leo said before leaving Raph’s room.
Once Raph left his room, he made his way to the kitchen to eat with the rest of his family.
“Hey Raph, I made some chicken and rice,” said Mikey.
“Really? Sweet. I’m glad your palette can handle more than just pizza.” said Raph.
“Oh, we’ll get pizza tomorrow but it’s kind of nice to have a change of pace,” said Mikey.
“That we can both agree with,” said Raph.
Raph knew Mikey’s appetite for pizza diminished when they lived back at the farmhouse. He remembered Mikey complaining about not having pizza for days until he told him not-so-kindly to suck it up and deal with it. And sure enough, the complaining stopped, and Mikey was willing to accept other foods into his diet. In the end, Raph just wanted his baby brother to eat a bit healthier because although Mikey’s metabolism was downright inhuman, he knew it wouldn’t last forever.
Forever. Just like how long it felt to wait for Leo to wake up from his coma. A coma caused by the Shredder. And now, Shredder was in the forefront of Raph’s mind again.
As Raph was lost in thought, Splinter noticed him and asked, “My son, is everything alright? You have not eaten much.”
“I’m fine, Sensei. I’m just…thinking about stuff,” said Raph.
“You’ve been doing that a lot lately. It’s not like you,” said Donnie.
“Well, a lot has happened in the last few months, brainiac!” yelled Raph.
“Raphael, calm yourself,” said Splinter.
Raph took a deep breath and counted to 5, letting his annoyed anger dissipate.
“My son, if you are struggling with something, your brothers and I are here to listen,” said Splinter.
“I know,” said Raph.
The rest of dinner went by without much conversation but out of the blue, Raph received a phone call from Casey. He knew Casey was on his ridiculous mission to stop crime all on his own after getting his ass handed to him by the Purple Dragons. But Casey was his friend, and it would be wise to answer his call in case he was in danger.
Raph answered Casey’s call and asked, “Hey Case, what’s up?”
“Raph, you and your bros need to come over here, NOW!” yelled Casey.
“Why? What’s going on?” asked Raph.
“I fucked up, Raph! I thought I could handle this crime-fighting shit on my own, but I very much can’t, and now Shredder, his goons, and the Purple Dragons are all over my ass!” Casey yelled quickly.
“Wait? Shredder?!? Casey, where are you?” asked Raph.
“The Auman Chemicals manufacturing factory. Hurry, man! I’m not going to last too long by myself!” yelled Casey.
“We’re on our way,” Raph said before ending the call.
“What’s going on with Casey?” asked Mikey.
“Dumbass bit off more than he can chew and now Shredder, the Foot, and the Purple Dragons are after his ass. Donnie, look up the location for an Auman Chemicals factory. We gotta save Case before they kill him.”
“Then let’s not waste any more time,” Leo said before he and his brothers left the lair to find Casey’s location.
When they arrived at the factory, they quickly saw how dire the situation was for Casey, as he was busy dodging attacks left and right from the Purple Dragons, Fishface, and Rahzar.
It took no time for the turtles to jump into the action and while in the middle of all the madness, Casey said to Raph, “Thanks, man. I wasn’t sure you would make it in time.”
“Please, as if I was going to let you fight all these goons by yourself,” said Raph.
The fight went on and on as Raph, Leo, and Casey were preoccupied with the Purple Dragons, while Mikey and Donnie dealt with Fishface and Rahzar.
While fighting Hun, the leader of the Purple Dragons, Raph thought to himself, “Damn, this guy’s the real deal. No wonder Casey got his ass kicked. This guy would be pretty cool if he wasn’t affiliated with a lame-ass group.”
Shredder, along with Tiger Claw, watched the chaotic scene from afar, and Tiger Claw could tell Shredder had his eye on Casey.
“Master Shredder?” asked Tiger Claw.
“That boy associated with the turtles, he needs to pay,” said Shredder.
“Master Shredder, killing the boy will do nothing for us. We have nothing to gain,” said Tiger Claw.
“The turtles and Yoshi will have one less ally and the boy’s death will tell those freaks of nature to never interfere with my plans ever again,” said Shredder.
“But Master Shredder-” Tiger Claw tried to say, but Shredder refused to listen, as he rushed to ambush Casey.
Just as Casey thought he could take a small breather; he was rocked by a strong kick to his solar plexus by Shredder. As he was on the ground in pain, Shredder was right above him, putting his knee on his chest so he couldn’t move.
“You should’ve stayed out of my world, boy,” Shredder said before extending his blades and raising his right arm so he could end Casey for good.
As Casey thought he was going to die, Raph witnessed the scene in horror, terrified that he was going to legitimately lose someone he cared about after almost losing Leo and Splinter to Shredder. But then something happened. Inside Raph, a fire lit up that was more ferocious and uncontrollable than anything he had ever experienced before.
Shredder messed with the people he loved for the last time.
He threw one of his sai at the Shredder and it connected, hitting Shredder in the crook of his elbow, making that arm practically useless.
As Shredder was in shock at the pain in his arm, Raph rushed towards him, throwing several ninja stars at him, before throwing a smoke bomb in his face, so he could be completely disorientated. He then jumped in the air, kicking Shredder down to the ground. Now on top of Shredder, Raph, who could only see the color red, was ready to deliver the killing blow.
From a distance, Leo saw Raph hold his sai in the air, it dawned on him that this exact scene was in one of his visions back at the farmhouse. Raph had the same pose, the same murderous rage in his eyes, the same everything.
“Raph! RAPH! WAIT! STOP!” yelled Leo.
But it was too late.
With all his force, Raph drove his sai straight into Shredder’s eye, piercing his brain, which killed him instantly.
Everyone in the room was in complete and utter shock at the scene. No one expected a murder tonight, especially not the murder of someone as powerful and feared as Oroku Saki.
The Purple Dragons, Rahzar, Fishface, and Tiger Claw quickly fled the scene, as Leo, Donnie, Mikey, and Casey slowly made their way toward Raph.
It took approximately 15 seconds for Raph to regain control and only then did the reality of the situation hit him.
He just murdered Oroku Saki, The Shredder. The man who tried to destroy his family. He was gone.
“Raph,” Mikey said softly.
Raph turned to his brothers and saw the fear in their eyes. And it was all because of him. Because he couldn’t stay in control. He let his anger overtake him. And now Shredder’s blood was on his hands. He thought this would be the most satisfying moment of his life. But it turned out to be the polar opposite.
Casey then put his hand on Raph’s shoulder and said, “Raph, we have to go.”
Raph slowly got up and left the factory with his brothers and Casey. As they drove back to the lair, the ride was silent, as everyone was still processing what had just happened.
When they arrived back at the lair, Leo announced, “Okay. Tonight was…a long night. I suggest we all get some sleep, and we’ll talk about what happened in the morning.”
“You mind if I crash here, tonight?” asked Casey.
“Not at all, Casey,” said Leo.
As Donnie, Mikey, and Casey walked away, Leo stayed with Raph, who was still in a state of shock over what he did.
“Raph?” asked Leo.
“I killed him,” said Raph.
“I know,” said Leo.
“I killed…the Shredder. I murdered him,” said Raph.
“Raph, everything will be okay. And I know you probably see yourself as the bad guy but you’re not. You did it to protect Casey. You’re not evil, Raph. You’re not like Saki. Okay?” Leo said before giving Raph a hug.
“I love you,” said Leo.
Raph didn’t respond but Leo didn’t expect him to.
“If you need anything, you can always come to me. Good night, Raph.” Leo said before retreating to his room.
It wasn’t long before Raph went to his room and sat down on his drum throne.
He grabbed his sticks and just sat there for what felt like hours, even though it was only a few minutes. He allowed himself to cry and let tears roll down his face before playing the drums chaotically. He played until he threw his sticks across his room, yelled “FUCK!” as loud as he possibly could, and completely broke down.
Why was he feeling like this? This is what he wanted. He got rid of Shredder. He got rid of the bad guy.
So why does it hurt?
Chapter Text
After the day he had yesterday, it was no surprise that Raph had a difficult time sleeping throughout the night. No matter how tightly he hugged his teddy bear, sleep refused to come easily to the hothead. Images of Shredder’s dead body and the fear on his brothers’ faces plagued his mind and made him dread talking to his family. He had a feeling that his family was going to feel weird about him because of how he killed Shredder. For the longest time, he and his brothers envisioned that their war with Shredder would end in an epic battle with Leo delivering the final blow to Saki.
But Raph eliminated that reality by murdering Shredder with his sai. And although he achieved his goal of eliminating Shredder from the world, something just didn’t feel right about his victory. It felt sudden, shallow, anti-climactic, and gross. It felt like he just fucked up everything and now no one knew what to do.
Eventually, Raph woke up from his less-than-peaceful slumber and he knew it was time to face his family.
“Let’s get this shit over with,” Raph told himself before getting out of bed and putting on his daily attire (red mask, elbow pads, knee pads, belt, and bandages).
When he left his room, he noticed everyone was sitting in the common area. April was even present. They all turned their heads to look at him and the unwanted attention was already making him uncomfortable.
“Raphael, please sit with us,” said Splinter.
It was hard for Raph to look at Splinter, knowing he murdered the man Sensei called his brother.
He sat down next to Mikey, who gave him a sympathetic smile.
“Leonardo has told me about the events that took place the previous night,” said Splinter.
Raph stayed silent, looking down at the ground rather than looking at anyone around him.
“Raphael, I am not angry with you. Although Okoku Saki was my brother, I do not blame you for taking his life,” said Splinter.
“Yeah Raph, none of us blame you for what you did. I certainly don’t. You saved my life, man.” said Casey.
“I know…but-” Raph tried to say.
“But what, my son?” asked Splinter.
“It’s just…why do I feel terrible about it? I mean, it’s a good thing Saki is out of our lives for good but…the whole thing makes me feel gross. Why do I feel this way?” asked Raph.
“It’s because you’re going through a traumatic experience right now. It’s normal for you to feel uneasy about your actions,” said Donnie.
“Yeah, dude, we’ve all been through some bad stuff. It’s nice we’re actually talking about it instead of keeping it to ourselves all the time,” said Mikey.
“I agree, Michelangelo. Raphael, we are here to help you. Now please, my son, tell me what is going through your head right now.” said Splinter.
“I…I don’t know how I should feel about any of this. I mean, I MURDERED Oroku Saki. I killed your brother, Sensei. And when I did, I had no control over my actions. I let my anger take over completely. I’m…disgusted with myself.” said Raph.
“Raph, it’s-” Leo was about to say before getting cut off by Raph.
“And you know what’s worse? I wanted him dead FOR SO LONG. After what he did to New York, to Tang Shen, to Karai, to Leo, to Sensei, I wanted him to die. And thanks to my anger, I got my wish. And yet I still feel like shit! And if that wasn’t enough, I feel like I somehow just fucked up the universe. Like I just took our story and ripped out most of the pages.” said Raph.
“You know, it does feel like Shredder died prematurely. I honestly thought we would have a final stand against the Foot and that’s how we would’ve beaten Shredder. Not like this.” said April.
“Exactly! And now because of what I did, no one knows what to do anymore. Not us, not the Foot, no one at all.” said Raph.
“Raph, I don’t want to come off as insensitive to what you’re going through, but you shouldn’t have been the one to kill off the Shredder,” said Leo.
“Oh, and why not Fearless?” asked Raph.
“Because I know you, Raph. I know you can’t handle this type of stuff very well. You couldn’t handle Mikey getting hurt when you were the leader for a day. If anyone was going to deal with the emotional torment that came with Shredder’s death, it was going to be me. No one else.” said Leo.
“Wow, way to bring up my failure, Mr. Self-Sacrifice. Now that I think about it, I think I know why you didn’t want me to kill Shredder. It’s because you wanted that moment all to yourself.” said Raph.
“Raph, that’s not true,” said Leo.
“Bullshit, Leo. You’re jealous. You’re fucking jealous. You’re mad I stole your big hero moment.” said Raph.
“Raph, you’re being ridiculous. Why would I ever be jealous about something like that?” asked Leo.
“Because ever since Sensei told us about the story about him and Shredder, you’ve had this fantasy of being the one to finish him off. Everyone, including me, thought if any of us were going to take down the Shredder, it was going to be you. And you bought into that hype.” said Raph.
“That’s so true, dude. I remember Leo writing this super long speech about what he was going to say to Shredder if they were to have a final encounter,” said Mikey.
“YOU WEREN’T SUPPOSED TO READ THAT!” yelled Leo.
“Face it, Leo, your fantasy of being the ultimate hero was just that. A fantasy. You're just a deluded geek who thought by watching a stupid cartoon, you could be this great heroic character. But you're not. To me, you're just Lame-o-nardo. Forever and always." said Raph.
“At least, I’m not the one who’s consumed by revenge and has thoughts of killing a man in cold blood!” yelled Leo.
“That man has ruined our lives far too many times. I made sure his time was up. If you had stopped me, he would’ve kept on destroying more lives. But I guess your honor is more important than all those people Shredder put into the ground.” said Raph.
Everyone gasped at Raph’s comment, shocked that he would say something so callous towards Leo.
“How dare you. How fucking dare you. Do you really think I don’t care about all the lives Shredder has ruined, including ours? Of course, I do. EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s just that I don’t allow to fall into temptation and go against everything Sensei taught us.” said Leo.
“Oh, so Golden Boy never has bad thoughts, huh? Not once have you ever had thoughts that might make you turn to the dark side? Is that what you’re trying to tell me?” asked Raph.
“Of course not! I’ll admit it, bad thoughts do enter my mind sometimes. I think about doing terrible things to my enemies after they try to hurt my family. But you know what I do? I push those thoughts away. I repress them. I control them. I don’t let them cloud my mind 24/7 like you allow them to.” said Leo.
“Boys! You will stop this at once!” Splinter yelled, hoping his oldest sons would stop their argument before it would escalate further. But neither of them would listen.
“Like I allow them to?!? Motherfucker, I try EVERY DAY to calm my anger! I listen to music, I play the drums, I beat up on the punching bag, I watch movies, I work out, I perform breathing exercises, I use my childhood teddy bear to calm down, I’ve tried goddamn everything to keep those dark thoughts away! You don’t realize how hard it is when the world continuously spits in your face!” yelled Raph.
“I know it’s hard but don’t act like you’re the only one dealing with issues. I have to look out for all of you on a daily basis. I have to be the responsible one and make sure you don’t get yourself in a situation that might get you killed. I have to make sure we’re bringing honor to our family when we go out and fight our enemies. I have to-” Leo said before getting cut off by Raph.
“Oh God, will you SHUT THE FUCK UP WITH THAT! It’s not all about you! You’re not the main character! Stop trying to be responsible for everything! Stop trying to make ‘honor’ your entire personality! And stop trying to be Splinter Jr. all the damn time!” Raph yelled.
“At least I’m trying to be like someone who’s a decent person, unlike you. If anything, I can see how you remind Sensei of the Shredder. He had a reason to be concerned.” said Leo.
“Oh, so now you think I’m like Shredder? Last night, you said I wasn’t. Make up your mind, Fearless Leader. Am I or am I not like Shredder? Or better yet, do you think I’m just as bad, if not worse than Shredder? DO YOU? DO YOU, FEARLESS?” asked Raph.
“YES! WITHOUT US, YOU’D BE JUST AS BAD AS SHREDDER! HELL, YOU’D PROBABLY BE WORSE THAN HE EVER WAS!” Leo yelled, his words stabbing Raph’s heart.
“Leonardo!” an appalled Splinter yelled, as everyone looked at Leo in shock, repulsed by his words.
But none of them were as repulsed as Raph.
“Okay, Leo. I see how it is.” Raph said, trying to prevent tears from leaking out of his eyes.
“Raph, I’m…I’m sorry. I…I never should’ve compared you to him.” Leo said with instant regret hitting him like a truck.
Not wanting to be in the lair anymore, Raph threw a smoke bomb on the ground, using it to disorient everyone and run out of the lair.
Once the effects of the smoke bomb wore off, Leo tried to run after Raph, but he was stopped by Mikey.
“Dude, you’re not going after him,” said Mikey.
“Mikey, please get out of the way. Let me find Raph. This is all my fault and I need to apologize to him.” said Leo.
“You and I both know he doesn’t want to see you. I’ll go after him.” Mikey said before rushing out of the lair, not even giving Leo a chance to respond.
Visibly distraught, Leo just stood in place, trying and failing to process what just happened.
“Leonardo?” Splinter asked, deeply worried about the mental state of his eldest son.
Splinter put his hand on Leo’s shoulder and asked, “My son?”
Leo tried to talk but he couldn’t bring himself to say anything. All it took was one argument to potentially destroy his relationship with his brother. At this point, the only thing that was circling his mind was a simple question.
What did he just do?
Notes:
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. The original plan for this chapter was for Splinter to lash out at Raph over the death of Shredder, which is why I had the ‘Bad Parent Splinter’ tag on this story. But then I decided that 2012 Splinter gets enough slander thrown at him so I made him a decent father in this story and removed the tag. Also, the argument between 2012 Leo and 2012 Raph was similar to the argument between Rise Leo and Rise Raph in ‘A Cancer’ on purpose. I wanted to show that despite all the different worlds in the multiverse, the same event might happen more than once. The next chapter will revolve around Raph talking with Mikey and the two of them meeting John Kasai. Also, I’ve been brainstorming several one-shots (2003, 2012, Rise, Mutant Mayhem, maybe 2007, and Bay Turtles) that are separate from this story, so stay tuned. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
Chapter Text
The only thing Raph could do after what happened in the lair was run. What else could he do? His older brother just compared him to an absolute monster like Oroku Saki and even said that if it weren’t for his family, he would be even worse than Saki. Normally, if one of his brothers said something that ticked him off, he would snap back with an insult, wrestle them, or beat them down during training.
But Leo’s words didn’t just tick him off. They cut into him deeply. It was as if Leo took one of his katanas and stabbed him right through his heart. So, the option he had was to get as far away from everyone as possible.
He kept running until his lungs couldn’t take it anymore, and once he knew he was far away enough from the lair, he stopped so he could catch his breath.
Once his lungs stopped feeling like they were on fire, he planned to continue running until he reached a special hiding spot he found when he was younger. He found the spot after he ran away from home and used it to get some actual privacy. He used the spot to work on a secret passion of his. That secret passion being art.
Whenever no one was around, he spent his time spray-painting graffiti on the walls and experimenting with various colors and designs. And if he wasn’t using spray paint, he drew in his sketchbook, mainly about how he felt about his brothers, his father, and how life had treated him.
And just as he was about to move again, he heard Mikey’s voice.
“Raph!” Mikey yelled out.
Raph was about to question how Mikey caught up to him so fast before remembering that Mikey was always the fastest ninja in their little family.
“Dude! Are you okay?” asked Mikey.
“Leave me alone, Mikey. Go back home,” said Raph.
“No, dude, I’m not going anywhere,” said Mikey.
“Why…why would you even want to be near me, after everything I’ve done?” asked Raph.
“Is that even a question, dude? You’re my cool older brother. One half of ‘Team Awesome’. No matter what, I’ll always be on your side.” said Mikey.
“Mikey, this isn’t like the times I broke your toys or called you stupid. I KILLED a man! Does that not bother you at all?!?” asked Raph.
“Raph, you saved Casey by doing what you did. I’ll never see that as a bad thing. Plus, when it came to Shred-Head, I'm not gonna lie, dude kind of had it coming.” said Mikey.
“Did Sensei put you up to this?” asked Raph.
“Nope. It was my choice to run after you so we could talk and maybe hang out,” said Mikey.
“Hang out?” asked Raph.
“Yeah, I mean it’s super clear you don’t want to go back to the Lair right now, which is totally fair. So, why not spend a few hours with your favorite little brother in the whole world?” asked Mikey.
Raph knew Mikey was right. The last thing he wanted to do was enter the Lair and interact with a brother who told him he could’ve been worse than the shittiest person he knew. And even with his annoying personality, it was hard to resist spending some time with Mikey. He was just too pure for this world.
“Alright, little brother. What do you want to do?” asked Raph.
“Well, what do YOU want to do?” Mikey asked right back.
“Wanna do some graffiti?” asked Raph.
“You read my mind, dude! Of course!” Mikey yelled excitedly.
For the next few hours, Raph was able to push his dark thoughts to the back of his mind and have fun with Mikey. They worked on some graffiti, shared each other’s drawings, talked about various pop culture topics (games, movies, TV shows, music, etc.), and even went topside to do a good old rooftop run.
After the last 24 hours he went through, Raph needed this. And he was incredibly grateful Mikey still wanted to be around him after everything. He knew he had to do something for Mikey sometime in the future, as both a thank you for being by his side and an apology for all the times he treated his little brother like shit. Even though he could be a pain, Mikey deserved better. Maybe he could get him a rare comic or a cool video game or maybe just his favorite pizza. Something that shows how much he cares for him.
Now worn out from running across the rooftops of New York, the two turtles sat down on the edge of a random roof.
“Fun night, right?” asked Mikey.
“Yeah, it was pretty fun. Mikey, please don’t tell anyone but tonight, hanging out with you, was one of the best nights of my life. If you didn’t stop me from running, I would’ve done something really stupid, so…thank you. I mean it.” said Raph.
“Anytime, bro. Whenever you’re feeling down, I’ll be there to lift you back up,” said Mikey.
Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched from a distance by John Kasai, a mysterious multiverse traveler, who wanted to recruit them for a mission.
“Yeah, they’ll do,” John said before teleporting himself so he could appear behind them.
Sensing a presence, Raph and Mikey stopped their conversation and quickly turned around, only to see a man wearing a black and red outfit, with a black metal face mask that sported an ‘X’.
“Hello, Raphael. Hello, Michelangelo,” said John.
Caught off guard by a stranger knowing their names, Raph and Mikey pulled out their weapons, prepared to fight this mystery man.
“How the hell do you know our names?” asked Raph.
“Yeah, and who even are you, dude?” asked Mikey.
“Hmph, Leon and Don were far less hostile than you two,” said John.
Even more confused, Raph demanded, “What? When the fuck did you meet Leo and Donnie?!? Why didn’t they tell us? You better answer me!”
“Relax, Raph. They’re not YOUR Leo and Donnie. They’re from a different dimension.” said John.
“Different dimension?” asked Raph.
“Yep. You see, I’m not from around here. My name is John. John Kasai. I’m not from your New York, your Earth, or even your universe. I’m a traveler of the multiverse. Different universes that are centered around you, Leo, Donnie, and Mikey.” said John.
“Different universes? Dude, this is totally like when we saw that dorky version of us while we were in a Kraang portal!” said Mikey.
“Exactly. And that’s just one version of you out there. In the multiverse, the number of alternate versions of yourselves is infinite. It’s quite amazing.” said John.
“Okay, if you’re really from another universe, how exactly did you get here?” asked Raph, very much skeptical of John’s story.
“I’ll show you. Give me your hand.” John said before holding out his hand.
“What? I’m not giving you my hand! I’m not giving you shit!” yelled Raph.
“You’ll never truly experience the multiverse until you give me your hand, Raph. I promise nothing bad will happen to you,” said John.
Raph looked at Mikey, who simply gave him a shoulder shrug, also not sure if he should trust John’s word. Although John was a stranger, he didn’t seem nefarious or blatantly evil. Besides, Raph was armed with his sai and this John guy had nothing on him, so if anything went wrong, he could go on the attack.
Going against his better judgment, Raph grabbed John’s hand and asked, “Well, what happens now?”
Instantly, John teleported himself and Raph out of his world, leaving behind a shocked and distraught Mikey.
Fast Forward-Verse
In an instant, John and Raph were in a brand-new world and Raph moved away from John in fear.
“What…what the fuck just happened? What did you do to me?!?” a shocked Raph asked.
“You’re in a whole another world, Raph. A world you had no idea even existed,” said John.
Despite being mad at John for abruptly spending him through space and time, Raph was in awe at what he was seeing. Flying cars, futuristic buildings, humans walking alongside alien-looking creatures. It was NOTHING like his world.
The only thing Raph could say was “Woah”.
“Pretty sight, right? Well, we can’t stay here too long. The gravity in this world can get quite wonky, making breathing incredibly difficult without certain futuristic gear. So, unless you want to suffocate where you stand, I suggest you grab my hand again.” said John.
Now knowing what John was capable of and not wanting to potentially suffocate, Raph grabbed John’s hand, and the two teleported back to Raph’s world.
2012-Verse
Mikey didn’t know what to do with himself. He just let a super-powered stranger take his brother to who knows where. And there was nothing he could do about it.
“Crap! Crap! CRAP! What do I do?!? Should I tell the others? No! That’s crazy. They’ll kill me. And how am I supposed to explain what happened to Raph? I would sound insane. If they can’t believe what happened with Pizza Face, there’s no way they’ll believe in an edgy-looking teleporting super dude.”, Mikey said to himself, his panic being both internal and external.
Not a moment later, Raph and John appeared behind Mikey, who quickly turned around and ran to his brother, giving him a strong, tight hug.
“Raph! What happened?!? I missed you, bro!” said Mikey.
“I wasn’t even gone for 5 minutes, Mikey,” said Raph.
“I didn’t know what happened to you. I was scared,” said Mikey.
“Mikey, don’t worry. I’m okay. John was telling the truth. He sent me to another universe.” said Raph.
“He did? What did it look like?” asked Mikey.
“It was all bright and futuristic looking. Flying cars and shit like that,” said Raph.
“Woah. That sounds pretty awesome,” said Mikey.
“And that’s only one universe out there. From what I’ve learned, every core universe has an infinite number of variants,” said John.
“Variants?” asked Raph.
“Yep, different versions of the same universe, and these variants consist of different scenarios. You know how Leo sacrificed himself to save Earth by taking down the Technodrome, only for him to make it out and survive?” asked John.
“Yeah,” said Raph.
“Well, there’s a universe where he doesn’t. He just dies at the bottom of the ocean,” said John.
Hearing John use the word ‘dies’ when referring to Leo sent a chill down Raph’s spine. It only gave him flashbacks to that awful day when Shredder damn near murdered his older brother.
“But sometimes the differences can be inconsequential. They can be as simple as one universe where you discover pizza and one universe where you don’t,” said John.
“THERE’S A UNIVERSE WHERE WE DON’T DISCOVER PIZZA?!?” Mikey yelled.
“Yeah,” said John.
Mikey gasped in horror, appalled that such a world existed.
“Okay, so you’re telling us about all this multiverse crap but why? Why do you even want to talk to us?” asked Raph.
“Because I want to recruit you two for a mission. A mission that concerns the entire multiverse,” said John.
“And what would that mission be?” asked Mikey.
“We stop any and all versions of Shredder,” said John.
Notes:
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. I wanted to get this done sooner but I was struggling with how long I wanted this chapter to be. Originally, I wanted John to fully explain his mission to Raph and Mikey and try to convince the two to join him, but I decided this chapter was long enough already. Instead, the next chapter will jump back and forth between John’s talk with Raph and Mikey and what’s going on with Leo and the rest of the group. Also, I’ve been brainstorming more one-shots (one of them being based on the 2012 episode ‘Turtle Temper’), so stay tuned. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
Chapter 4: Spite & Horror

Warning: Blood and gore. This is where the story takes a hard left turn.

Chapter Text
“Wait, ALL versions of Shredder? So, there’s more than one? What are they like?” asked Mikey.
“They vary when it comes to power. Some are genuinely pathetic, while others have the power to take over an entire galaxy. Don’t worry though, you can leave the stronger Shredders to me.” said John.
“To you? You’re just a guy who teleports. I doubt you can handle a superpowered Shredder.” said Raph.
“Really? That’s what you think?” asked John.
“Yeah, because that’s what I see,” said Raph.
John replied with, “Oh Raph, you have NO idea what I’m capable of.”
“Okay. Whatever you say.” Raph said, not taking John’s words that seriously.
“So, we get to go around the multiverse and take out different Shredders? Is that the mission?” asked Mikey.
“Precisely,” said John.
“Awesome! We could totally meet different versions of ourselves, Raph! Maybe we’ll find a universe where I’m taller than you.” Mikey said, not mentioning the fact that he had already met an alternative version of Leo.
“Oh yeah? Well, maybe there’s a universe out there where you know how to keep quiet every once in a while.” Raph fired back.
“You two won’t be alone. As I already mentioned, I’ve found an alternative version of Leonardo and Donatello. They’ll accompany you on this mission.” said John.
“Wait, why can’t our Leo and Donnie come with us?” asked Mikey.
“Your Donnie wouldn’t be on board with the plan. He wouldn’t trust my words. And your Leo? I think we all know why that wouldn’t work out. It’s not like you’re on good terms with him.” said John.
“Hold on, how you do-” Raph asked, wondering how John knew this information when he wasn’t there until John cut him off.
“I’m able to see your world through a dimensional window. Every universe has one. I witnessed your argument with Leo, the one where he said you’d be even worse than Shredder if your family wasn’t around.” said John.
Raph didn’t say anything to that, as he was furious. Furious at John for invading his privacy and being reminded of the terrible argument he had with Leo that was still fresh in his memory.
“Raph, I know you and Leo don’t see eye-to-eye. It’s quite clear you have an inferiority complex towards him. You’re constantly bothered by the fact that he’s objectively better than you. Sure, you’re a stronger and better brawler, but he’s more skilled, more calm, less prone to rage, less rash, more in control, more heroic, and more focused. Raph, your big brother is a prodigy, and I know it eats you up inside.” said John.
Raph wanted to deny John’s words but there was a part of him that knew his words contained some truth. For years, he’d been envious of how skilled Leo was at ninjutsu and how he made him, Donnie, and Mikey look inferior by comparison. It didn’t help that Splinter always seemed to give Leo the most attention and praise out of the 4 of them. He knew Splinter loved all of them, but he couldn’t help but think he loved Leo just slightly more than the rest of them.
And it pissed him off to no end.
Suddenly, his T-Phone went off and he checked to see who was calling him. And predictably, it was Leo, the Golden Boy himself.
“Who’s calling?” asked John.
“Who do you think? Fearless is an idiot if he thinks I want to talk to him anytime soon.” Raph said, declining Leo’s call.
Back in the Lair
Leo was on his T-Phone, hoping Raph would answer his call.
“Raph, come on. Pick up. PLEASE pick up.” said Leo.
Unfortunately, his call was declined.
Frustrated, Leo complained, “Ugh, it’s been hours. We’ve both had plenty of time to cool off. All I want to do is apologize to him. Why won’t he answer?”
“I don’t know, Leo. It’s a real mystery. It can’t possibly be because you were a massive asshole to him.” Casey said with a strong dose of sarcasm.
“Jones, I don’t need a reminder of what I did. Besides, Raph’s not innocent in this. He alleged that I don’t care about all the people Shredder has killed. Who says that?” asked Leo.
“Guys, stop. Just stop. We don’t need any more arguments right now. Both Leo AND Raph said awful things to each other, I think we can all agree on that.” April said, trying to play peacekeeper.
“At least Raph didn’t compare Leo to a monster,” said Casey.
“Stop it, Casey!” April scolded.
After spending a few hours in his lab to distract himself from the chaos going on within his family, Donnie walked back into the common area and immediately noticed the tense atmosphere.
“Donnie, have you tracked Raph and Mikey’s locations?” asked Leo, changing the subject.
“Yes, I have, Leo. They’re right near Antonio’s. Where did you think they would go? Coney Island? Although Raph’s tracker disappeared for about 20 seconds before it reappeared. That was quite strange, but it was likely a minor technical issue.” said Donnie.
“Hmm. I’m going to call Mikey.” Leo said before doing just that.
And just like Raph, Mikey declined Leo’s call. Now even more frustrated, Leo kicked one of the arcade machines nearby.
Then out of the blue, the four teens hear a scream coming from the dojo. A scream that came from Master Splinter.
Immediately concerned, Leo, Donnie, April, and Casey rushed inside the dojo, only to see Splinter on his knees, looking distraught. Like something terrible had just occurred.
“Sensei, are you okay?” asked Leo.
“What happened, Sensei?” asked Donnie.
Splinter only responded with one word. A word that made Leo’s blood freeze up.
“Miwa.”
Splinter didn’t have to say anything else. Karai was in trouble, and he was going to stop at nothing to make sure she was safe.
Without saying a word, he, Donnie, April, and Casey quickly left the lair and used the Shellraiser, so they could head to the Foot NYC HQ as quickly as possible to stop whatever was going to happen to Karai.
Back on the rooftop
“For years, you’ve felt inferior to Leo. You’ve felt that no matter what you did, how hard you trained, how much muscle you packed on, how many times you beat your brothers in training sessions, Leo would always be superior. He would always be the top turtle. He would always be your father’s favorite son.” said John.
As Raph was quiet, Mikey took offense to John’s statement.
“Hey, I know Leo’s a better ninja than us but that doesn’t mean Sensei loves us less than Leo. He loves us all equally,” said Mikey.
“I know that’s what you believe, Mikey, and I’m not saying he has no love for you. But don’t you think it’s a little unfair how your father seemingly gives Leo ALL the attention while you and your brothers get a fraction of it? And even compared to Donnie and Raph, you get the least amount of attention. Don’t you find that the slightest bit odd?” asked John.
“Dude, if you think I’m bothered by that, you’re wrong. I just don’t need to seek Sensei as much my bros. Simple as that.” Mikey responded.
“Really? So, you never think about how he’ll never truly understand you? Or the fact that he seemingly turns a blind eye when you’re mistreated? Or that you’re deathly afraid he won’t accept you for who you TRULY are?” asked John.
Mikey’s eyes widened at John’s last question. No one had a clue about his secret. How gender didn’t matter to him when it came to attraction. How on Earth could a stranger like John possibly figure him out?
“Don’t worry, Mikey. It’ll take time but one day, you’ll accept yourself. Took me quite a while.” said John.
Raph was confused by what was going on but decided it would best to just put it in the back of his head for now.
“Mikey, you and I both know that you possess incredible potential. You may lack focus but that is NOT your fault. Don’t ever think your ADHD makes you inferior to everyone around you. Your unpredictable nature combined with your raw talent for martial arts makes you a deadly fighter. Even if your family doesn’t see it, I see absolute greatness in you.” said John.
John’s words made Mikey feel warm inside, as it wasn’t too often Mikey received compliments of that nature from his family.
“But I know you’re bothered by how others look at you. How they view you as stupid, useless, childish, a burden, a clown, amongst other things. Deep down, you WANT respect and admiration, and don’t even try to deny it.” said John.
Mikey thought about John’s words, and he certainly wasn’t telling any lies. Sure, he liked being silly and carefree, but the constant comments of ‘Do better’, ‘Stop being such a screwup’, and ‘Why are you so weird?’ did get to him. He didn’t want to sacrifice his personality to please others, but it would really be nice to be taken more seriously.
“Well…I guess it would be nice to have,” said Mikey.
“Look, the two of you are quite similar. You’re the problem children, the rambunctious ones, the troublemakers, the ones that you need to keep an eye on. But I know you’re more than that. You can be better than your archetypes. Raph, you’ve already done something neither Leo nor your father has achieved and singlehandedly eliminated the Shredder. No one can take that away from you. With me by your side, you can do more. You can finally show off your true potential and save countless lives in the process. And at that point, you’ll no longer just be good compared to your big brother. No, you’ll be greater.” said John.
Raph and Mikey turned around before discussing John’s words privately.
“So, should we go for it? Personally, John seems cool to me. He’s kinda blunt with his words but he seems like a good guy. But there’s something about him that feels…off in a way. Like he’s not telling us something. I don’t know, maybe I’m thinking that because of what happened with Bradford, but I doubt he’s like him. What do you think?” asked Mikey.
Raph didn’t respond, still thinking about all the times he felt inferior to Leo and how often he felt like a scapegoat when Splinter criticized him while praising Leo. And as those memories flooded his mind, he felt John was right. For the longest time, he wanted to be on the same level as his older brother. But after what Leo told him hours earlier, he didn’t want that anymore. He wanted to be greater than that piece of shit perfectionist brother of his.
“Hey, no matter what you decide, I’m with you, dude,” said Mikey.
Raph didn’t have to answer, as he already made his decision, a decision fueled by spite. And Mikey knew it too. The two turned around to John and Raph shook his hand.
“We’re in,” said Raph.
“I knew you’d make the right choice,” John said with a smile behind his mask.
Back with Leo, Donnie, April, and Casey
After several minutes of driving, the four teens made it to Foot HQ, and they could instantly tell something was off. The doors and several windows were destroyed, looking like someone used a Kraang gun to blast through them.
“Woah. Looks like someone did a number on the place,” said Casey.
“April, do you sense any threats nearby?” asked Donnie.
Using her powers, April tried to feel the presence of the turtles’ enemies in the immediate area, only to come up short.
“No. I’m not getting anything. No Foot Bots, no Tiger Claw, no Fishface, no Razhar, no Stockman, no Bebop or Rocksteady, no one.” said a perplexed April.
“This…this isn’t normal. Something’s not right,” said Leo.
“Maybe they’re setting up a trap or something,” said Casey.
“Casey, no plan of theirs could account for my powers,” said April.
“Besides, it’s highly doubtful they can come up with a plan at all without Shredder. They’re likely in a state of pure chaos right now,” said Donnie.
“Okay guys, I’ll sneak in and check if there are booby traps or anything of that nature. Once I know it’s safe, I’ll give you the signal to follow me in. Got it?” asked Leo.
Donnie, April, and Casey nodded their heads in response.
Leo nodded back before he stealthily entered the building, checking for anything that could possibly be a trap. Once he determined it was safe, he gave the signal, letting the others know it was okay to enter.
The four teens slowly walked inside the building and were hit with an awful stench.
“Oh God, what the hell is that? It smells horrible,” asked Casey.
“Yeah, it smells like-” Leo said before he and the others saw something so gruesome it made them stop in place.
It was a bloodbath. An absolute bloodbath. The bodies of various Foot Clan members (Rahzar, Tiger Claw, Fishface, Stockman, Bebop, and Rocksteady) lay on the floor, dead and mutilated. Stockman’s head was nothing more than a bloody stump, with his blood and brain matter splattered across the ground. As for the rest, Bebop had what looked like one of Rahzar’s bones stabbed through his head, Rocksteady had a gaping hole in his stomach, Rahzar was split in half, Fishface’s guts were exposed and he had his breathing rig ripped out, and Tiger Claw had a laser wound in his leg and in his head.
It was the worst thing they had ever seen.
“Oh my God,” April said in horror.
Casey nearly vomited at the sight but managed to keep it down.
Leo and Donnie were in a state of shock. When April couldn’t sense most of the Foot Clan’s presence earlier, they assumed they were hiding. Not this. Anything but this.
“Who on Earth would do this? Better yet, who on Earth COULD do this?” asked Donnie.
“I know it wasn’t Raph or Mikey. Even at their worst, they wouldn’t be capable of this type of violence. None of us would.” said Leo.
“Well, whoever it was clearly did a thorough job,” said Casey.
As everyone looked at the dead bodies in front of them, Leo spotted someone else, who was further away from the others. It looked like…
“Karai,” Leo said quietly as he walked over to his sister.
She was barely moving, which made Leo think she was hurt but would ultimately be okay. But as he got closer, the large stab wounds he saw on her stomach told him otherwise. Even worse, it looked like she had already lost a concerning amount of blood.
“No…No. No. No. No. No. No! No! No! Karai!” Leo said in a panic as he rushed over to her so he could be by her side.
As Donnie checked on Karai, Leo looked at her and said, “Karai, stay with me. We’re here now. Everything’s going to be okay. We’re going to take you to the hospital, and they’ll fix you up. Just stay with me.”
“Leo,” said Donnie.
“What?” asked Leo.
“Karai’s injuries, they’re…they’re-” Donnie didn’t want to finish the sentence.
“They’re what? They’re what, Donnie? She’s going to be okay, right? She has to be okay. She just needs some medical attention, right? Right?” Leo said, trying to convince himself that their sister would be fine in the end.
All Donnie had to say was 3 words to eliminate whatever hope Leo had left.
“They’re fatal, Leo.”
No. No, this can’t be happening. This can’t possibly be real. In roughly 24 hours, Shredder was killed, every major player in the Foot Clan was killed, and soon enough, Karai, his sister, would be dead in his arms.
This was worse than any nightmare he could dream of.
But something in his gut told him he needed to know who was responsible for this. And he needed that information right now.
“Karai, stay me. You need to tell me who did this to you. You need to tell me what happened here. Can you do that for me?” asked Leo.
“Yes,” Karai said weakly before she began to explain the events that transpired a little more than an hour ago.
Notes:
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Yep, I killed off the main members of Shredder’s Foot Clan and will soon kill off Karai. I’m willing to bet you’re probably not happy about this, especially with Karai’s imminent death, but I wanted to take risks with this story and not tell a typical Ninja Turtles story. Plus, their deaths will have a greater purpose later on, just like Shredder’s. And if you think the way John talked to Raph and Mikey sounded manipulative and exploitative, you’re right. You’ll eventually find out why John is acting like this. Now, the next chapter will explain how the main members of the Foot Clan died. Also, I’m going to work on more ‘The Best (?) Idea Ever’ and more one-shots, so stay tuned. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
Chapter 5: She's Gone
Chapter Text
Karai was trapped in a cage hanging from the ceiling, as she listened to her former allies discuss how they should proceed with plans now that the Shredder, her former ‘father’, was dead.
“Okay, let’s not beat around the bush. Shredder’s dead and we need a plan going forward. So, what are we going to do?” asked Bebop, aka Anton Zeck.
“I will take Master Shredder’s position and run the Foot Clan for the foreseeable future,” said Tiger Claw, aka Takeshi.
“Now, wait a minute. Who said you could be in charge? No one gave you that right.” said Rahzar, aka Chris Bradford.
“I was Master Shredder’s second-in-command. I’m the only one here who’s qualified for such a position,” said Tiger Claw.
“Bold of you to assume such a thing. The fact is you can’t handle running the Foot. None of us can. Not even me.” said Rahzar.
“And why do you say that?” asked Fishface, aka Xever Montes.
“Because the Foot Clan revolved around Shredder. Every plan and every decision he made was to fulfill his OWN goals. Goals that no longer matter.” said Rahzar.
“What about getting revenge on those turtles? That matters to me,” said Bebop, aka Anton Zeck.
“It matters to me as well,” said Rocksteady, aka Ivan Steranko.
“Okay, so we kill the turtles AND Hamato Yoshi. Then what? What’s our purpose? We have no reason to work with each other anymore.” said Rahzar.
“And where would we go? Those turtles destroyed our lives! As sad as it is to say, we only have each other at this point.” said Bebop.
“Bradford, we WILL fulfill Shredder’s requests and THAT IS FINAL. After the Hamato Clan is eliminated, we’ll discuss future plans,” said Tiger Claw.
“First of all, you’re not the fucking boss of me. Second of all, how do you expect to tie up all of Shredder’s loose ends? It’s not like he left us with a contingency plan. The psycho was probably too busy obsessing over killing Yoshi to make one.” said Rahzar.
“YOU WILL NOT SPEAK ILL OF THE DEAD, BRADFORD!” Tiger Claw snapped.
“You know what? Since everyone here is too much of a coward to say it, then I guess I’ll say it. I’m glad Shredder’s dead. If he were still alive, he would’ve led us straight into a death spiral and he wouldn’t have cared. None of our lives ever mattered to him. The only thing that mattered was his pathetic revenge, all because a girl didn’t return his feelings. So yeah, I’m glad he’s in the ground because if you ask me, he can go fuck himself.” Rahzar ranted, letting his true feelings out.
“Unless you want to be mutated for a 3rd time, I’d suggest you stop talking.” Tiger Claw said as he and Rahzar looked at each other with disdain in their eyes.
“Tiger Claw, I have zzzome zzzuggestions for our nnnext move.” said Stockman-Fly, aka Baxter Stockman, breaking the tension.
“I’m listening,” said Tiger Claw.
As Stockman talked to Tiger Claw, the core members of the Foot Clan were unaware that someone was watching their conversation from afar. Standing on the rooftop of a nearby building, John Kasai stared at the group before unleashing an electric-type energy from his hand.
“Maybe we zzzhould conzzzider completing ZZZhredder’s requezzzt for a mind control zzzerum. We can zzztill uzzze it on Karai,” said Stockman.
“And then we use her to take out the Hamato Clan permanently, correct?” asked Tiger Claw.
“Precizzzely. They would be hezzzitant to attack her. Ezzzpecially the blue one and the rat.” said Stockman.
“Then that will be our next course of action,” said Tiger Claw, as Karai watched on, horrified at the thought of being mind-controlled. It was bad enough to be brainwashed for 16 years.
“Exzzzellent. ZZZoon, revvvenge will be ourzzz. We’ll get rid of thozzze blazzzted turtlezzz once and for-”
Stockman was unable to finish his sentence as a large spark of energy struck the back of his head, causing it to explode, killing him on the spot.
Stockman’s blood and brain matter splattered all over the other Foot Clan members before his headless corpse collapsed to the ground, leaving everyone in the room in a state of shock and horror.
“Stockman?” said Tiger Claw, who struggling to believe what had just occurred.
Not a moment later, the front doors of the Foot HQ were blown open, and in walked a man none of them had ever seen before.
“You have a lot of nerve to enter this place. Especially without a weapon,” said Rahzar as the other core Foot members got into attack stances.
John looked at the group and instead of retorting, he chuckled humorlessly behind his face mask.
“Don’t worry. I can handle this guy.” said a confident Fishface.
Fishface’s confidence was all for naught, as John teleported from where he was standing to right behind the fish mutant and ripped off the tubes that were connected to his breathing rig.
As Fishface suffocated due to being unable to breathe on land, John pulled a knife out of his pocket and used it to slice Fishface’s stomach open. It didn’t take long for the fish mutant to collapse to the ground and succumb to his death.
“Attack!” yelled Tiger Claw before he and the remaining core Foot members rushed at John, attempting to take him out.
This proved to be easier said than done, as John dodged every blow thanks to his teleportation powers. John struck back by throwing small sparks of energy at them, which they narrowly dodged, although Shredder’s former throne was destroyed in the process.
Rahzar swung his razor-sharp claws at John, right as Rocksteady was ready to use his knuckle dusters against him. Thinking quickly, John wisely teleported out of the way, resulting in Rocksteady unintentionally striking Rahzar, knocking him down.
John then threw a tiny spark of energy at Rocksteady’s face, blinding him temporarily. Tiger Claw tried to attack him from behind, only for John to hit him with a flash kick to his head.
Now that Tiger Claw was dazed, John turned his attention to Rahzar. Unleashing a large bolt of energy from his hand, he swung it down on Rahzar’s midsection, splitting the wolf mutant in two, which killed him not too long afterward.
Bebop, who was now using his cloaking device, tried to sneak up on John. Bragging, “I gotcha now, mystery man.”
Bebop’s failure to stop talking gave John the chance to dip his gloved hand in some blood on the ground and fling it at Bebop, exposing his invisible form.
“WHAT THE FUCK, MAN! THAT’S SICK!” yelled Bebop.
While Bebop was distracted, John teleported to Rahzar’s dismembered torso and broke off one of his fangs. He then teleported back to where Bebop was and used the sharp tooth to brutally stab the mutant warthog through the side of his head.
Seconds later, Bebop dropped to the ground and died.
Witnessing his comrade get killed in front of him, an angry and distraught Rocksteady roared and proceeded to charge at John, ready to gore him with his horn.
Anticipating this, John teleported out of harm’s way and threw a bolt of energy at Rocksteady, which went right through his chest, leaving a gaping hole. Moments later, Rocksteady was dead.
Seeing a laser gun, Tiger Claw’s signature weapon, on the ground, John picked it up, prepared to end TC’s life.
Tiger Claw tried to charge at John, only for John to shoot him in his left leg with the laser gun. He screamed in pain and dropped to one knee before John walked up to him and pressed the gun against his temple.
Looking at the man’s red eyes and knowing he only had a few more seconds on Earth, Tiger Claw told John, “You’re going to burn for what you did here tonight.”
John coldly responded with, “I know. Enjoy burning first.”, before pulling the trigger, shooting a laser through TC’s head and killing him instantly.
Karai watched the scene play out in absolute horror. She had never seen a man more cold-blooded than her former father. In a mere few minutes, her fellow Foot Clan members, some of which she had known for years, were unceremoniously murdered right in front of her.
John and Karai then made eye contact with each other and after a few seconds had passed, John released a small amount of energy from his hand and threw it at the chain holding Karai’s cage up in the air. It cut through the chain with ease, and Karai’s cage fell to the ground.
The two looked at each other for a bit longer until John teleported out of the room.
Karai then slowly got out of the cage and walked to the front door. Once she was far enough away from the Foot HQ, she was going to call her younger brothers and let them know what was going on.
Unfortunately, she never reached that point, as John reappeared in front of Karai and used one of Shredder’s gauntlets to stab her through her stomach.
With pure shock on her face, she looked at John’s menacing red eyes and emotionless face before he pulled the gauntlet out.
Collapsing to the floor, Karai looked at John and asked, “Why? WHY?!?”
She didn’t get a response. Instead, John teleported out of the room again, this time not coming back.
Present Time
“That’s…what happened here.” Karai weakly said as her life was quickly fading away.
Trying to keep his emotions relatively in check, Leo asked, “Can you tell me what he looked like?”
“He…had…a red…X…on his face,” said Karai.
“A red X. Okay. Can you tell me anything else?” asked Leo.
“Leo…I’m sorry…I wish…I could’ve been part…of your family. Tell our father…I love him.” said Karai.
Those words scared Leo more than anything Shredder threw at him.
“Karai, no. No. No. Please. Please don’t go. Stay with me, please. Stay with me.” Leo pleaded, as Donnie, April, and Casey watched, their hearts breaking at the scene.
Looking at Leo, Karai’s final words were, “Avenge me.”
One moment later, she stopped breathing. She was gone.
Karai was dead. Hamato Miwa was dead.
Time stood still for Leo. He and his brothers just lost their older sister. His father had now lost his daughter after finally being reunited with her after believing she was dead for over 15 years, while Shredder raised and brainwashed her.
Tears burst out of his eyes, as Leo tried and failed to come to terms with everything that’s happened over the past 24 hours. Every member of the Foot Clan was murdered. Raph killed Shredder while everyone else was taken out by some mysterious individual. Now he understood that Raph did what he had to do to protect Casey. He didn’t like that he went that route, but he understood why. But everything else? It didn’t make sense. None of it made any sense.
“Leo?” asked Donnie softly, knowing that his older brother’s emotional state was fragile, before he, April, and Casey slowly walked up to Leo.
“Leo, look, we can’t stay here. I sense police presence. They’ll be here within a few minutes.” said April.
“Yeah, it’s not safe. If anyone sees us here, they’re going to assume we caused this. Leo, I’m sorry but we have to go.” said Casey.
Hating that April and Casey were right, Leo roughly wiped away his tears and gently got Karai off the ground, carrying her lifeless body in his arms.
“We’re taking her back to the Lair. Sensei deserves to see his daughter one more time,” said Leo.
The others nodded at Leo’s words and the four teens made their way out of the Foot HQ and entered the Shellraiser, not saying a word.
After sitting in the Shellraiser in silence, Casey asked, “Guys, how are we going to tell Mikey and Raph?”
“Shit. I didn’t even think about that,” said April.
“Raph didn’t have much of a connection with Raph but Mikey…he accepted her as our sister faster than any of us. He really wanted to get to know her. He was so excited about having an older sister. Oh God, this could destroy him.” said Donnie.
“We need to find Mikey and Raph and we need to do it now. Whoever killed…everyone in the Foot HQ could be after all of us. Once we find them, we’ll go back to the lair…tell Sensei about Karai…and we’ll go on from there.” Leo said, trying desperately to keep it together.
Worried, Casey said, “Leo, you know it’s okay to-”
Leo cut him off with, “Casey, I can grieve and break down later. Right now, I need to make sure the rest of my family are alive and safe.”
“Alright, I pulled up their locations. They’re roughly 2 miles away from where we sit,” said Donnie.
“Then let’s go,” Leo said before he and the rest of his team drove off to find their fellow Hamato Clan members before it was too late.
Once they were close enough to the destination, the group parked the Shellraiser on the street and quietly made their way over to where Mikey and Raph were located.
It turned out they were in the middle of an alley talking to a man wearing all black and sporting a face mask. The man was someone unfamiliar to them. And in front of them was some type of Kraang-esque portal, except it was shaped like a door.
“So, we enter this thing, and we’ll end up, where exactly?” asked Raph.
“A dimension hallway. It’s similar to the hallways you see in school,” said John.
“Really?” asked Mikey.
“Yep. We should leave now. I already know Leon and Don are going to have a fit because I spent too much time here.” said John.
Raph and Mikey then entered the portal and John looked back to make sure no one was watching before entering the portal as well.
Now in the ‘dimension hallway’, both Raph and Mikey’s jaws dropped at the sight of the endless number of dimension windows stretching from one end of the hallway to the other.
“Holy shit, dude,” Mikey said, letting out a rare swear.
“Holy shit is right, little brother,” said Raph.
“Amazing, right?” said John.
“Ugh! Took you long enough! I was thinking we’d have to search for you.” said a mystery voice.
“If you had spent another 2 minutes and 4 seconds in that dimension, we would’ve continued on with the mission without you.” said another mystery voice.
Raph and Mikey turned around to see who was talking and they saw two mutant turtles looking at them. They looked like teenagers, probably the same age as them, and they wore blue and purple masks.
“Oh, these are the alternate versions of your brothers I referenced earlier. Gentlemen, meet Leon and Don,” said John.
Raph looked at the two turtles in front of him in disbelief. This Leo had red marks on his face and this Donnie had some weird pack covering his shell and…eyebrows, for some reason. They also had slim but slightly muscular builds, looking almost like twins.
“Dramatic gasp,” Don said after letting out one at the sight of the alternate versions of his oldest and youngest brothers.
Raph looked at Mikey, who strangely wasn’t in as much shock as he was. Instead, he looked excited. And Leon had a similar look on his face.
Mikey, with a bright smile, said, “Leon!”, before rushing up to the blue turtle to give him a hug.
“My alternate hermano!” Leon said before accepting the hug without question.
“God, it’s been so long since we’ve last talked. I’ve been wanting to visit you again, but I could never figure out a good time and then shit got crazy with Big Mama and Shredder, and…it’s been a mess,” said Leon.
“Same here, dude. We had to deal with the Kraang taking over New York and we had to stay at April’s farmhouse for a while after Shredder put Leo in a coma,” said Mikey.
“What the fuck?!? Alternate me was in a coma! For how long?!?” asked Leon.
“3 months. He’s alright now although his leg does give him problems,” said Mikey.
Baffled at how Mikey and Leon were making casual conversation with each other, Raph said, “Okay, TIME OUT! How the fuck do you two know each other?!?”
“Oh, I met alternate Mikey a while back. I fell off a roof, opened a portal, fell through said portal, landed in alternate Mikey’s room, talked with alternate Mikey for a GOOD while about various topics, and then left,” said Leon.
Raph looked at Mikey and asked, “You interacted with another version of Leo and YOU DIDN’T TELL US?!?”
“Hey, don’t yell at him. I told him not to say anything. I didn’t want to cause weirdness or panic.” said Leon.
“And you didn’t tell me you went to an alternate universe, why?” Don asked Leon.
“Why? Because now I have the chance to RUB IT IN YOUR FACE, DONALD! I visited an alternate universe before you could!” yelled Leon.
“Last I checked, you would’ve never discovered alternate universes if it weren’t for my multiverse theory. A theory that is now proven fact. Not to mention, I’m one of the only turtles to figure out that there is IN FACT A MULTIVERSE. And I did it all by myself, so I deserve credit for your unintentional multiverse escapade.” said Don.
“Gentlemen, we don’t have all day. We need to move. You can talk all you want later.” John said before breaking open a dimension window with his energy-based powers.
“Woah. You didn’t tell us you could do that,” said Raph.
“I’m full of surprises, Raph. Now let’s go.” John said before entering the window, with the four turtles following suit.
Meanwhile, the opening left behind by John had yet to close, meaning there was a chance for anyone to enter.
“So, do we go for it because I say we go for it,” said Casey.
“I…I don’t know.” Donnie said with regret in his voice.
“Don’t know? What do you mean you don’t know?!? Your brothers are in there! My BEST FRIEND in there!” yelled Casey.
“I KNOW THAT, CASEY! But we’re woefully unprepared. We don’t know what goes beyond that portal. For all I know, it could be a trap.” said Donnie.
“Maybe but the longer we wait, the more likely that portal is going to close, and we’ll have no way of finding them,” said April.
As the others were debating on whether or not they should enter the portal, Leo realized something.
The man who sported a face mask, that mask had an ‘X’ on it. A red ‘X’, just like how Karai described.
“No,” Leo whispered to himself. His brothers were with a killer, and they didn’t even know it.
But then Leo realized something else. The man looked identical to the one he saw in his visions back at the farmhouse. In fact, everything in his visions was becoming a reality. Raph committing murder, his enemies dead on the ground, the mysterious man.
These visions weren’t random. They were a warning. The universe tried to warn him, and he failed to heed that warning. And it cost him his sister’s life.
With no time to lose, Leo uncharacteristically left his spot and ran towards the portal, surprising the others.
“Leo? Leo! What are you doing?!? LEO! STOP!” Donnie yelled, trying to stop his older brother from making a foolish, impulsive mistake.
But Donnie’s pleas fell on deaf ears. It didn’t matter to Leo that he was pulling a move out of Raph’s playbook. Running into a situation without a plan. There was no time to come up with an elaborate plan. His brothers’ lives were in danger. They were walking with a mass murderer, a man who killed their sister. After failing to protect his family during the Kraang’s invasion of New York, Leo swore to himself to never fail his family again. He already failed Karai; he couldn’t fail anyone else.
He rushed through the dimensional opening, which closed itself immediately afterward.
April and Casey stood in shock, while Donnie was utterly terrified, witnessing his brothers entering a portal to an unknown location, putting themselves in potentially life-threatening danger.
Notes:
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. This took a while because I SUCK at writing fight scenes. I can visualize them in my head but writing them out is an absolute pain. Fun fact: the Foot Clan massacre was inspired by an iconic moment in ‘Invincible’ when Omni-Man murdered the Guardians of the Globe. So, 2012 Raph and Mikey are now teaming up with Rise Leo and Donnie, meaning the crossover aspect is in full effect. The next chapter will revolve around the 2 pairs of turtles getting to know each other, while Leo searches for them in the dimension hallway. Also, I’m working on more Turtle stories, one of which is based on the infamous ‘The Croaking’ episode, so stay tuned. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
Chapter 6: Leon, Donald, Lil' Raph, and Alternate Mikey

Chapter Text
Bizarre didn’t come close to describing how Raph felt about his current situation.
For the last few hours, he and Mikey were hopping between various dimensions alongside John and alternate versions of their brothers.
It was incredibly difficult for Raph to not call these turtles ‘Leo’ and ‘Donnie’, so the four turtles ended up having a meeting to discuss nicknames, away from John.
After several team votes, Leon’s nickname remained Leon, Don was now Donald (Leon’s idea, which annoyed the soft-shell turtle immensely), and Mikey was now Alternate Mikey. Raph, however, got the short end of the stick.
“Coming up with a nickname that’s not Raph for a name like Raphael is difficult,” said Donald.
“We could use Raphie,” said Mikey.
“Call me Raphie again, and we’re going to play a nice game of ‘How Far Can A Shell Bend’ the next time we spar.” Raph threatened.
“Hey! No threats of violence around Alternate Mikey,” said Donald, who was quite uncomfortable with the visual of a Raph threatening to harm Mikey, even if it wasn’t his Mikey. This version of Raph was so unlike his own that it put him on edge.
“Oh yeah, and what are you going to do about it? You’re a Donnie, you’re not violent.” Raph said, while Leon pondered over what he should call this alternate version of his big brother.
“Really? I’m not violent? Is that what you believe?” asked Donald, daring Raph to fuck around and find out.
And before Raph could say another word, the perfect nickname popped into Leon’s head.
“I got it! We can call you Lil’ Raph,” said Leon.
A mortified Raph merely said, “What?” as Mikey and Donald were trying desperately to hold back their laughter.
“Well, my Raph is WAY bigger than all of us and you’re a whole lot smaller, so it’s perfect,” said Leon.
“I will be dead in the fucking grave before you ever call me-” Raph said before getting cut off by Leon.
“All those in favor of the Lil’ Raph nickname, please say aye,” said Leon.
Leon and Donald said, “Aye.”, without hesitation, and Mikey looked at Raph with an evil smile before saying “Aye” as well.
“MIKEY, YOU DICK!” Raph yelled.
“Well, the votes are in. You are officially being called Lil’ Raph from here on out.” Leon said before conversing with his twin.
Raph didn’t want to look at anyone, as he was deeply embarrassed. It was bad enough that his enemies liked to call him short to get under his skin, but to have a nickname that called attention to the fact that he was short was humiliating.
“It’s okay, Raph. We may be shorter than Leon and Donald, but we’re still a cooler duo,” said Mikey.
Raph then proceeded to punch Mikey in the arm, causing him to yell “OW!” in response.
“That’s what you get for letting them give me that stupid nickname,” said Raph.
“I couldn’t help it, dude. It’s a funny name,” said Mikey.
“Are you four done over there?” an impatient John asked.
“Yes. Our meeting has concluded,” said Donald.
“About time,” said John.
“Hey John, we’ve been at this dimension-hopping thing for a while now. Is it cool if my twin and I go back to our world? I want to show it off to my alternate bros,” said Leon.
“It’s funny you mentioned your world. I was actually intending to go there next,” said John.
“Well, perfect! Let’s go then!” Leon said before opening a portal with his swords.
Rise-Verse
The group soon entered the portal and were now in Leon and Donald’s home dimension. From the moment they entered, Raph and Mikey were in awe at how lively, vibrant, and colorful this universe was. It made their world look plain and boring in comparison.
“Cool, isn’t it?” asked Leon.
“Yeah, it’s...it’s alright,” Raph said, not wanting to show how impressed he was.
“ALRIGHT?!? DUDE, THIS PLACE LOOKS AMAZING!” an excited Mikey yelled.
“Yes, yes, yes. We are quite aware of how amazing our world is,” said Donald.
“And that’s not even counting the Hidden City,” Leon added.
“The Hidden what?” asked Raph.
“It’s this secret underground society of Yōkai, supernatural-type beings. Leon told me all about it. It sounds like the sickest place ever,” said Mikey.
Before a baffled Raph could respond to that, John interrupted the group with, “Well, I’m off to do some sightseeing. You guys can do whatever until I let you know when it’s time to leave. Cool?”
“Sounds cool to us,” said Leon.
“Good,” John said before teleporting away.
Right after John left, the four turtles had another conversation, this time centering around their romantic lives.
“So, you two into anyone back in your dimension?” asked Raph.
“Me? Into anyone? HA. You might actually challenge my status as the funniest turtle,” said Donald.
“Who said you were the funniest? And why’d you respond like that?” asked Raph.
“Well, Pops calls Donald ‘the funny one’ and my purple bro isn’t romantically interested in anyone,” said Leon.
“Nor am I lusting for anyone. I’m an aromantic asexual, if you want the technical term,” said Donald.
“Dude, you’re the polar opposite of our Donnie. He fell for April the moment he saw her,” said Mikey.
“He FELL for APRIL?” Donald asked with horror and disgust in his tone.
“Yeah. You sound grossed out by it,” said Mikey.
“Because for me it’s BEYOND GROSS. Our dimension's April is our big surrogate sister. We’ve known each other since we were kids, and next to Leon, she’s the person I hang out with the most. The mere thought of one of us falling in love with her sickens me. I mean, when is it ever okay to be attracted to your sibling, biological or not?” asked Donald.
“Obviously never. Don’t know anyone who could do that*cough*Leo*cough*.” Raph said, slandering his older brother for his crush on Karai without outright saying it.
“What about you, Leon? Anyone luck finding someone?” asked Mikey.
“Nope, that’s still on the back burner. There was this rabbit guy I saw a while back, but I didn’t get a chance to talk to him. I took a picture of him, though,” said Leon.
“Can I see?” asked Mikey.
“Sure,” Leon said before pulling out his phone and showing the others the picture he took of Usagi, the rabbit samurai.
“Isn’t he the coolest dude you’ve ever seen? Not to mention, the cutest?” asked Leon.
“Well, he’s not as cute as me, but he does look pretty cool,” said Mikey.
“Wait, you’re interested in a guy? Not a girl?” Raph asked Leon.
“Yeah,” said Leon.
“So, you’re gay?” asked Raph.
“Correct, sir. You, my short friend, are in the presence of a proud homosexual,” said Leon.
Choosing to ignore Leon’s obnoxious tone, Raph said, “Wow. So Fearless is a fruit in another world.”
“Yep. The whole fam is one big fruit basket,” said Leon.
“For the record, I’m the flavorless fruit,” Donald added.
“Alright, cool,” Raph said, making a mental note about having a talk with Leon later regarding being attracted to the same gender.
“Hold on. Nardo, when and where did you take this picture?” asked Donald.
“A few months ago, I think. As for where, I accidentally fell into another universe,” said Leon.
“You went to more than one universe AND YOU HID IT FROM ME?!?” yelled Donald.
“Yeah, because now, I get to rub it in your face for a SECOND TIME!” Leon said before dabbing.
“The fuck did you just do with your arms?” asked Raph.
“Oh, I just dabbed. Wait, is dabbing not a thing in your world?” asked Leon.
“No,” said Raph.
“Really? Well, it should be,” said Leon.
“I hope it’s not. You know, somehow, you actually make my Leo look cool and he’s a sci-fi dork,” said Raph.
“Hey, don’t knock on sci-fi. It’s better than the edgy grimdark shit I know you like to watch,” said Leon.
“Oh please, you couldn’t even handle the type of shit I watch and listen to,” said Raph.
As Raph and Leon continued their argument, Mikey and Donald looked at each other before Donald asked, “So, my alternate younger brother, would you like to hang out somewhere that’s far away from this mind-numbing argument?”
“Totally dude! Wait, do you have a lab?” asked Mikey.
“I do indeed have a lab,” said Donald.
“Cool, let’s hang out there,” said Mikey.
“Splendid idea. Just get on my Flight Shell and we’ll be on our merry way,” said Donnie.
“Okay,” Mikey said before getting behind Donald and grabbing onto his Flight Shell.
“So, now what?” a confused Mikey asked.
While smiling, Donald fiddled with the gauntlet on his wrist, and a few moments later, a seat popped out of the Flight Shell, complete with handlebars, shocking Mikey in the process.
“Dude. You might be the coolest turtle in existence,” said Mikey, who was in awe of the tech created by this alternate version of his brainiac brother.
“Well, I’m glad to hear you speak objective truth, my alternate younger brother,” Donald said before he and Mikey flew off.
“You’re just in denial about how awesome Sonic truly is,” Leon said, continuing the useless argument, which had now morphed into which Sonic character was superior.
“Bullshit. Shadow is more powerful and more of a badass than Sonic could ever dream of.” Raph responded.
Only then did the two turtles realize that their brothers had long since left the scene.
“Shit. Where did Mikey go?” a panicking Raph asked.
“Relax, Lil’ Raph. He and Donald probably had enough of us yapping about nothing, and they just dipped,” said Leon.
“Dipped?” asked Raph.
“Left and went somewhere else. God, do you not know any modern slang, like, what year are you even from?” asked Leon.
“2013,” said Raph.
“Ah, it all makes sense now. Well, don’t worry, my alternate hermano, Neon Leon is here to show off my world and get you caught up on the vernacular I use on a daily basis.” Leon said while putting his arm around Raph, displaying his signature trouble-maker smile.
“Can’t wait,” Raph said with heavy sarcasm.
Wanting to test just how angry this version of Raph was, Leon said, “That’s the spirit, buddy.”, right before slapping him hard on his shell and running off.
Enraged, Raph chased after Leon, yelling, “You obnoxious little shit! Get back here!”
A little after the group split up to do their own things, something very unexpected happened. A portal suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and a young man flew out of it, like he was thrown through said portal, before it closed.
The young man remained on the ground for a few moments, trying to catch his breath and process what he had just gone through. Mere minutes ago, he witnessed both the destruction of his world and the death of his two remaining masters, one of whom he considered his father figure.
Now, he was in the past and had an important mission to complete if he wanted to prevent the apocalypse and not have Master Leonardo and Master Michelangelo die in vain.
“Okay, find the key and stop the Krang. But where do I even start? Where do I even look?” asked Casey Jones II, the son of Cassandra Jones.
“Oh wait, I know. The…the Foot Clan! Yes, they had the key and were able to unlock the prison dimension with it. I just need to find them, stop them, and then I can save everyone. Now, where exactly would they be?” Casey Jr. asked himself before beginning his search.
After about an hour of searching, Casey Jr. realized that finding the Foot in New York City was easier said than done, much to his frustration.
“Ugh! Where are they? They have to be somewhere in this city,” said Casey.
And not a moment later, he heard screaming from the distance. And it wasn’t coming from only one person. He heard several voices, one of them noticeably hoarser than the others. The voice sounded a lot like one of the Foot Clan members Master Leonardo told him about, which meant the Foot were nearby.
He followed the sounds of the screaming, which ultimately led him to a rundown warehouse. But at that point, the screaming had stopped, and it was replaced by a sound one would make if they were striking someone.
Casey Jr. stealthily made his way inside the warehouse, ready to attack any Foot Ninja he saw so he could make sure they didn’t use the mystic key to unlock the prison dimension and unleash the Krang into the world.
And right as he was ready to fight, he stopped and stood in place. Because what he saw wasn’t what he imagined he’d have to deal with. He expected to fight multiple Foot Ninja. Instead, they were all dead on the ground, alongside Hypno-Potamus and the worm mutant Hypno was always with. Warren…something. Foot Lieutenant lay dead with his neck burned to a crisp, while Foot Brute's lifeless body was getting pummeled by someone Casey Jr. didn’t recognize.
Before he could make a move, the man pummeling Foot Brute stopped, stood up, and slowly turned around, showing off the red ‘X’ on his facemask and the blood covering his outfit.
Now, he was staring into the eyes of John Kasai, a man who was about as dangerous as the Krang and he didn’t even know it.
Notes:
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Really sorry about the wait, I had to deal with writer’s block on this chapter, so I put it on the back burner while I worked on other stories. So, Casey Jr. is in this story. Surprise! He wasn’t part of my original plans, but I thought his inclusion would not only make things interesting but also show just how much John doesn’t care about what he’s doing to all these worlds. Also, I originally wanted to include 2012 Leo’s time in the dimension hallway in this chapter, but it just didn’t fit, so I’m putting it in the next chapter. Speaking of the next chapter, it will revolve around several different plots (2012 Mikey talking to Rise Donnie, 2012 Raph talking to Rise Leo, 2012 Leo walking through the dimension hallway, and Casey Jr. dealing with John). Also, I’m working on A Lovely Weekend, finishing up ‘Separated’, some more TMNT one-shots, and starting my Bayverse fic ‘Out of the Shadows: A TMNT Nightmare, so stay tuned. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
