58002721Post exposure, Julian’s friends turn to Garak to protect him. Garak POV with an excellent voice - you can hear the lilt Andy gave the lines as you read the page. Wishing it had a second chapter.
Garak decides that he will close early. His script is beautiful; he writes out a sign that lists today’s truncated hours and the time he will open tomorrow.
Before he can place it on the door, Lieutenant Dax strides in.
[…] “I guess I don’t need to tell you why I’m here, do I, Mister Garak?”
“I would like to believe it was for a new wrap,” he tells her. “I have some Rinaxian silk that would just suit. The shade is unusual, but it perfectly conjures the Bestri forest on Bajor.”
