When she was a little girl, Carmilla believed in wishing on stars and used their power to craft herself a best friend born of imagination itself. Running through gardens and dancing through ballrooms together. But little girls grow up and vampires have no need for imaginary friends.
Centuries later, Carmilla meets Laura Hollis, a little girl who has made the exact same wish that Carmilla herself once made. A simple plea to the sky for a best friend. Despite her better judgement, Carmilla can't just leave Laura to the whim of the stars and takes on the role of imaginary friend for herself.
