Chapter Text
Pierro placed the teapot down on the kitchen counter next to the brick fireplace, he had made tea. One could say it was too much tea for just one person but it was sweet berry tea, who wouldn’t keep that to themself? It was a rainy day, a perfect day to stay inside and be by the fire with tea by oneself. That was until he heard the front door open and close, he was confused since he wasn’t expecting anyone that day. Pierro was ready to sneak to his weaponry room before he heard a familiar voice.
”Pierro, are you home?” It was Pulcinella, it had been a while since he heard his soft and raspy voice.
Pierro sighed before walking out to the entrance, being taken back by how soaking wet Pulcinella was. “My… Do you need dry clothes?” Pierro inquired, the response he got was pulcinella staring up at him. “…I’ll get you some dry clothes.” Pierro spoke before walking to his bedroom, opening his closet to grab some pants and a button-up shirt. He quickly showed up in front of pulcinella who had dropped his jacket to the ground. “I’ll just need the shirt, thank you.” Pulcinella thanked him, taking the shirt after unbuttoning his own shirt and letting it slide off. Pierro tensed up and looked to the side, causing Pulcinella to laugh as he put on the shirt Pierro gave him. “Again, thank you. I hope that I didn’t disturb you by coming by.”
Pierro shook his head, “I didn’t have a lot to do today, I actually made some berry tea.” Pulcinella looked up at him, “It’s like you were expecting me in a way.” He chuckled, Pierro had completely forgotten that Pulcinella liked berry tea. “oh!” Pierro pleasantly exclaimed, “It’s like I did, let me pour you a cup. You can sit on the couch if you’d like.” Pulcinella nodded up to him before Pierro turned his back on him toward the kitchen. Pierro used a glass cup to pour the tea in, even adding a little berry on the rim as a garnish. The warmth of the cup had Pierro hoped comforted Pulcinella.
Pierro walked into the living room with two cups in hand to see Pulcinella on the couch with the fireplace lit up, “It seems you quickly found where the matches were.” Pierro light-heartedly joked, which Pulcinella scowled at. “I had to jump to get those matches, damn you and everyone’s tallness.” He jokingly complained as he took the cup with the berry garnish that was offered to him, “Well You found a way, you’re a very intelligent man so I’m sure you found a way without hurting yourself.”
Pierro had sat a few feet away from Pulcinella, but Pulcinella inched closer to Pierro and rested against him. Pierro’s heart jumped a bit, It had been a while since they were close together like this, but it was a pleasant surprise.
