If you don’t like it, fuck, cause this isn’t for you. This is for people who like Greenflame. I will report anyone who tries to come at me with hate speech or anything, so if you don’t like this, please just fucking leave. This is an AU based on “Sacrificial princess and the King of Beast”, In case if you haven’t seen it this is a small change but anyway enjoy.

Chapter 1: Preparations part 1

“You look beautiful sir Lloyd” A maid said as she undid Lloyd’s semi-wet hair. It had been washed before he had changed and his hair was put up to dry off while he got changed, though it was to be braided. Lloyd only agreed softly at the maid’s words as she braided Lloyd’s long hair into one braid ponytail that was then wrapped into a bun. He had meaning to cut his hair but due to training and meetings he never had the chance to do so, but it didn’t matter now if it would play off the act then it would do. “Lloyd you don’t have to do this for me” the maid no, his close friend Skylar said with a huge hint of guilt in her voice “I would be forced into a marriage at some point sky so this is only killing two birds with one stone” Lloyd replied which caught Skylar off guard on the use of her nickname or talk due to how silent he had been. This only caused Skylar to cry. Lloyd turned to face her and hugged her softly. Ever since Skylar's father had been charged for his crimes, she had no family and rarely got out enough to have friends. She knew nothing about her mother. If it wasn’t for Misoko convincing his father, she would probably be homeless. It was that one action that Lloyd had made a best friend and eternal servant, well almost eternal where Lloyd was going Skylar could not go. “Be strong, this is for the betterment of both kingdoms, at least you’ll be living in a world free of conflict” Lloyd said his words only making Skylar cry more. Lloyd couldn’t cry, not because he was upset but because he knew by doing this the people he loved will be safe.

After a bit, Lloyd was done getting ready, he no longer looked like the boy he was. His face was covered in makeup, his hair in a braided bun that had a gold/silver flower bun clip holding it together. He wore a long white dress that had small lime green flowers at the end of it and a silver and white dictated flower crown that held his vale, which wasn’t currently covering his face. He didn’t have any shoes underneath the dress as due to his “fiancé” request. Due to his slim figure he looked very feminine, though it certainly wasn’t true as he was 98% male except for the fact of missing male genitals, though that didn’t make him less male. He was assigned male at his birth, while there was a question on his missing genitals, which only further proved even more that he was born a male. Despite the missing genitals, Lloyd was still a boy, that’s what official test results stated. His Father and Mother walked up to him, his mother holding a bouquet of red and orange flowers tied together with a white ribbon. “From here on, you are not our son but our daughter,” Garmadon said. Lloyd nodded in response, ripping away his title of Son of the dark lord to Daughter of the dark lord. For not only the safety of his parents but also the safety of his people...his country. “My name is now Layla Garmadon, the daughter of the dark lord,” Lloyd said, and Garmadon nodded before taking Lloyd’s bouquet and bringing it down to cover his face. She stepped back as Misoko gave Lloyd the bouquet and whispered a goodbye to her son before stepping away. Lloyd then turned around and walked to the carriage that had his stuff in the back, where he proceeded to climb in carefully in order to prevent the tearing of his dress. And with that he was off, away from the palace, away from the village, away from his home, his family, his friends…his country.

This whole thing happening was because of the demand. The Fire and Water Kingdom wasn’t ruled by a queen and king, but their son, who had recently come into power. Not only had he recently turned 23, but he was also good at his duties enough to be crowned king. But he needed a queen, he had demanded a bride from his country specifically, Lloyd didn’t know why it had to be his country of all the countries but there was no choice. He had remembered running late to a meeting that was talking about this. When Lloyd entered, all the maids were standing in the room. Misoko caught Lloyd up in what he missed, and he didn’t believe what was hearing that they had to choose a girl and send her to the Fire and Water kingdom to get married to King Kai. The original option was Skylar, but then Lloyd spoke up, offering to go as a girl and be the bride that Firey king had wished for. Although everyone had tried to talk him out of it a week doing so Lloyd’s decision was final, he would go as the bride. He could play off that he was flat chested and him lacking any genitals could help prove that, but he had to be very careful in order to make sure he was not caught. He had spent hours training to react to the name Layla instead of Lloyd and practicing being a proper lady. He had manners, but just didn’t know how to act like a lady, and so he had to practice. Now here he was on the way to the Fire and Water Kingdom to be married and to keep his country safe.

Chapter 2: Fire's Wedding

More preparation but from Kai's side this time

So my original set of notes was because I ran out of motivation, but now it's a smi-long one so different notes and no more at the end later

Kai struggled to fix his tie, a growl escaping his lips as he fought with the thing to make himself presentable. As he struggled, there was a knock on his door, making another growl leave his lips, “Come in!” he said it coming off mean and cold. A girl with tan skin, dark blue eyes, a mole on her cheek and medium length black hair, his little sister Nya the princess of the Fire and Water kingdom. Kai’s expression softened as Nya walked in and closed the door behind her “By our courses the bride is on her way dear brother” she said as she walked up to her brother and fixed his tie as her brother had made a mess of it. “About time, I don’t know how long I could have waited” Kai said, he was only doing this because his kingdom was at stake. He spent years learning how to be a proper king for his kingdom. Just to be hit with a rule that if he did not have a bride in three months that he would lose his potion of king and someone else would take over in his place, he would not allow it. Even if it seemed a little cold and heartless, he chose one kingdom he wasn’t an ally with and demanded a wife from them and wouldn’t take no for an answer. The kingdom that was decided was the dark kingdom. Nya adds the finishing touches of Kai’s cape, and then they proceed to leave the room and walk down the hall to where the grand entrance was.

 

“King Kai, the room is done and ready for you and your bride” Tox said as she met up with Nya and Kai in the hallway. Tox was newly hired and was only hired because Nya was close to her, other than that she most likely would still be struggling on the streets and probably kicked out of her home. “Thank you Tox” Nya said as her brother just walked by not saying a word so she had to say it for him, she then turned to catch up with her brother.

 

Kai wasn’t always heartless; he used to be a happy, free child, but it changed when his parents died. It was an invasion, his mother was assassinated and his father died while fighting off the invasions. Their kingdom won, but not without being cripple damaged and left the kingdom without a queen and King and Kai and Nya without parents. That’s when Kai’s behavior changed, he got more serious, less talkative, colder, and didn’t care for anyone but himself and his sister. Even though he made friends he didn’t even act nice to them, only his sister saw a sweeter side of Kai, no matter how hard people tried no one got him to open up. The fact he had to get married to be king was only a small inconvenience. They only had to be married, they did not have to talk, hold hands, kiss or... it didn't matter he would be king as soon as they married he was charged for good or for worse was anyone's guess.

 

As Kai kept walking down the hall, there were his friends. Zane, a man with no kingdom but lived with his wife in a small cabin. Cole was a runaway prince of the Earth kingdom, not wanting to deal with prince responsibilities, so he applied to be a soldier. Jay not much info was known about him besides from the fact he was raised by an old couple who didn't have much but their son was an amazing inventor. They were here for the fact of being by their friend's side, the only reason why the dark kingdom was the one Kai demanded a wife from was because of them. Zane was a war general at the Ice kingdom. Jay's parents lived in the area of the Lightning kingdom, and since Cole’s father was the king of the Earth kingdom, he refused to betray Cole's trust by attempting to attack his father. Same goes for Zane and Jay. He had refused to even attempt to threaten them, and only a fool would test the First/Light kingdom's Might, so with not much of a choice, he chose the dark kingdom. And luckily the dark kingdom agreed, giving up their own daughter for the safety of their kingdom.

 

Cole: “So exactly when is the wedding Day?”

 

Nya: “In 2 weeks. The kingdom of Shintaro might offer a bride, so we hold it back just in case”

 

Jay: “Then what is this for?”

 

Nya: “Just to meet the bride beforehand”

 

Zane: “Whoever she is, she should feel lucky”

 

Lucky was the furthest way of putting it, being forced into marrying a cold, heartless man. It wasn't luck, it was a jinx.

Chapter 3: First Night

Summary:

The bride and groom finally meet, though it isn’t as loving and sweet as normal relationships would be

This took a while due to school and finals, plus worrying about what to do after school. Hindsight this note was edited because it was made before the third semester so yeah this didn’t age well. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.

The time had come as the wagon made its way closer and closer to the castle as it was finally in view from the back of the wagon to Lloyd, who was looking at the castle as his new home. As the wagon pulled up to the castle, there stood King Kai, his little sister Princess Nya, his lead soldier Coal, the Ice Kingdom war strategies Zane, and a guy with dark orange hair. The two coaches got off and helped Lloyd get out of the back and hold the back of his dress so it wouldn't get dirty as they approached the front of the castle. “This is the bride the Dark kingdom has to offer, her highness Princess Layla Garmadon” the head coach man said as he and the other coach man bowed. Zane, Jay,and Cole were a little surprised that the Dark kingdom gave up their own daughter. Nya, understanding the tension, decided to speak up “Hello,Princess Layla,I'm Nya your new sister-in-law” she said, being as nice and gentle sounding as possible. Lloyd curtsy and in the wedding dress as Nya finished introducing herself,  “Does she not speak?” Kai asked in a cold demanding tone “She's mute…we're sorry” one of the couch men said it was a lie but Lloyd couldn't do a female voice so it had to be the excuse to go along with. There was silence for a second before Kai spoke up, “That's fine. She'll be a fitting bride” he then turned around and walked away. With that, Lloyd waved bye to the couch man and stood by Nya as she said goodbye to Cole,Zane and Jay. Then Nya turn to Lloyd “here I'll take you to your new room” she said, Lloyd was surprised that Nya was nicer than her older brother, he just thought the cold behavior spread through the family. Nya talked the whole way to the room about Zane,Cole, especially Jay and her brother she was pleasant and her friendly demeanor made it easier for Lloyd to adjust a little “So what is your home like? Do you have any friends or siblings? And...oh right your mute...sorry I forgot. Nya started asking a bunch of questions wanting to know her new sister-in-law just to stop herself on remembering how the princess of the dark kingdom doesn’t talk but just politely smiled.

 

Nya showed her new Sister-In-Law around the palace before showing her to her new room “and this is your and my brother’s room he should already be in there” Nya said happily just glad to have someone to talk to. Lloyd looked at the entrance of the bedroom velvet doors, with fire Lilies and poppies in vases besides the doors. “Hey, don’t be nervous, I know he comes off as cold and heartless, but he’s probably the most caring guy I know I can’t say sweetest that definitely goes to Jay but my brother would never hurt someone who doesn’t deserve it” Nya said trying to comfort Lloyd from all his worries about entering the room. “Good Night, Layla” was the last thing she said before walking away, leaving Lloyd alone.

Lloyd entered the room and there on the bed sat Kai reading a book, not paying any attention to the person who had just entered the room. Lloyd stood there and studied him, taking every single detail he could pick out, like how a couple stands of hair came loose. His eyes only glazing the pages, not fully paying attention to what was on the pages, and how his fingers tapped the book. He finally looked up at him before looking back at his book “Bathroom is to the left wash-up, and I’ll turn off the light afterward, there should be night clothes on the dresser for you” Kai said coldly and without much care for his words about Lloyd. Lloyd just nodded and grabbed the clothes before entering the bathroom, letting out a breath he hadn’t realized he had been holding stripping out of the dress he had been wearing the whole turning on the shower to nice warm temperature before getting in, unbraiding his hair and just stood there in his thoughts as the water hit his body.

Kai could hear the water running and figured that Layla had gotten in the shower now. He looked back at the book he was reading, a romance novel that Jay had given him. Even though he came off as cold, Nya was right,he is a kind person and was very aware of what people thought of him. The whole reason why he had asked Jay for a romance novel was because he wanted to be a good husband, he wanted both Nya and Layla to have a life without worry about anything going wrong. Even if it meant he was going to be cold and heartless to others if they can live happily, he would do it.

Okay, so I worked on this during the school week,sense this is the most popular one for some reason. I have been working on Fanfics instead of school work because about 3 weeks left and school work is slowing down. Fun fact, I asked my mass media teacher how she would write a loveless marriage and explained this story to her, and she said Lloyd was pulling a Mulan, and now I can’t unsee it. See you next chapter.

Chapter 4: Need Help

Summary:

The title is self-explanatory

I'm so sorry to break the story here but to be honest inspiration for this book has been non-existence I want to continue this because this is my most liked story so far, but I have nothing on to continue the story, so I'm deciding to get help from the people who want to see more of this story I want to hear your opinion on what you would like to see in this story. It could be anything like a meeting,drama,fluff,the other kingdoms,world building anything but smut because I'm debating on rather including smut around the very end or just implying it happened depends on what I think. But go ahead is and say anything, and I'll try to get a chapter out as soon as I can.

I hope you all like this. It took me a whole day to write this with me constantly getting distracted, and it has finally finished. I don’t know what everyone think of this first chapter. It was mostly world building and a bit of lore for Lloyd’s side. Next, if not getting into the wedding, will probably be more world building and Lore from Kai’s side. If my test reader approves it anyway later now going to take a break to finish fanfics I should have been finished.
