Chapter Text
“Where. Is. Pollux. Roe.” Alice demanded again, she didn’t let her tears fall.
“Look Alice-” Roe started to say.
“No, where is Pollux, explain to me why he isn’t here!” Alice shouted, she wasn’t just.
“Alice for the love of Hestia, will you shut up,” Roe groaned. “Look Pollux seems missing since Fall, but no one noticed until recently. Will’s got a lead on him or something like that, but I don’t really know. Kayla has all the info.”
“Ok,” Alice muttered and looked out the window. It was all her fault. If she hadn’t gone to Hogwarts then Pollux’s disappearance would have been discovered sooner and he’d be home right now. Another part of her knew this was a childish conclusion, if she hadn’t gone to Hogwarts her friends might’ve died.
The car ride was quiet. Roe Blackwood wasn’t much of a talker. They were a child of Persephone, the first in over a hundred years, and they didn’t have that many friends beyond Jay Brooks, who was MIA at the moment, and Kayla Knowles. Once they got to camp Roe helped her get her trunk from the back.
“Roe!” Kayla greeted them. “Hey Alice..”
“Where’s Will,” Alice frowned. “Roe said he had a lead on Pollux”
“I see you know about Pollux,” Kayla frowned, shooting Roe a look.
“Hey, she asked first!” Roe protested.
“It doesn’t matter just take me to Will,” Alice huffed.
“Look Alice I think Will is still busy right now” Kayla winced. “This whole year has been a bit chaotic with the Apollo thing.”
“Right, he got turned into a mortal or something?” Alice asked. “I don’t really care just take me to Will.”
“How did you-” Roe started to ask.
“Dreams,” Alice groaned. “Now let’s go find Will.”
Kayla led them towards the Apollo cabin. Kayla walked into the cabin and Roe followed, but Alice lingered for a moment. The cabin was just as Alice remembered it, then again she hadn’t stepped foot in here since Caster died. Caster was the one to befriend Michael Yew and Lee Fletcher, so when he died the unofficial alliance between the two cabins died too.
“You coming Alice?” Kayla called from inside the cabin.
“Uh yeah,” Alice frowned.
“Ok just so you know Lester, that’s Apollo, is passed out on a coat I think,” Kayla frowned.
“Alice your back!” Will grinned.
“Where is Pollux, Roe said you had a lead,” Alice cut right to the chase.
“I uh-” Will looked caught off guard.
“Alice figure it out,” Kayla shrugged.
“Right follow me,” Will sighed.
“No you’re going to tell me your lead right now,” Alice demanded. “The faster I get that the faster I can get a quest approved, the faster I can get together the people I need, and the faster I can get Pollux back.”
“Alice we don’t even know if-” Kayla started to explain.
“No,” Alice’s voice cracked. “Don’t you dare suggest he’s dead.”
“Alice it’s a possibility,” Will explained gently. “He’s been missing since Fall and If he’s where I think he is they might have killed him already.”
“I don’t care I need to at least bring him home,” Alice clenched her jaw.
“Alice.. Look sometimes these-” Kayla started to say.
“Shut it,” Alice snapped. “Don’t give me the newbie grief talk. I’ve been here longer than you Knowles. You weren’t there for the Battle of the Labyrinth or the majority of the Titian War. So don’t you give me that shit.”
“Sorry,” Kayla nodded.
“Look Alice my lead is a person,” Will sighed. “We have to go see her for more context, and you can’t get mad at her.”
“At who?” Alice frowned.

Dobby was a good elf, at least that is what little master told Dobby when Dobby let little master stay up late or read about the Great Harry Potter. Now that little master was back from Hogwarts he didn’t like to talk about the Great Harry Potter. This made Dobby sad. Dobby sometimes wondered if it also made little master sad. Dobby had a feeling that the planning Master was doing would make little master and Lady master upset. That dark journal was going to Hogwarts. It would cause lots of dangerous things for both little master and the Great Harry Potter.
Dobby knew lady master could protect little master from the danger as soon as she was made aware of it. The Great Harry Potter had no such protection. From what little master said the Great Harry Potter had to stay with no good muggles. Muggles were worse than bad elves according to Master. So the muggles wouldn’t save the Great Harry Potter.
Dobby had a feeling that little master would appreciate Dobby saving the Great Harry Potter. Little master would also like the Great Harry Potter to remain a story, that is what little master had told lady master. So Dobby decided that the best way to keep the Great Harry Potter away from Hogwarts was to keep the Great Harry Potter from knowing Harry Potter’s friends were sending the Great Harry Potter messages.
Yes it was perfect.

Meg sat at the dining pavilion. It was dinner time and being at Camp this time around was more fun, more relaxing. At the same time, it made her nervous, What if the Beast really wasn’t beatable? What if he’d burn all of this down? What if she accidentally let him in again? What if Lester Died? Her internal debate was interrupted by the appearance of one Will Solace.
“Hey Meg, Could we talk to you for a moment?” Will asked slowly. Next to him stood an impatient-looking girl about Meg’s age. She had dark brown hair pulled into two falling-apart braids, and her eyes were an unnatural purple—like that man, Pollux, Nero had captured.
“What’s going on?” Meg frowned.
“We were-“ Will started to explain.
“Where is my brother?” The girl interupted.
“Who?” Meg asked, this made the girl angrier.
“Will said you had a lead on his location! He was kidnapped! Who even are you?” She snapped.
“And who are you?” Meg snapped back.
“Alice daughter of Dionysus,” Alice huffed. Alice… oh shit.
“Oh,” Meg felt like curling into a ball. “Your Pollux’s sister aren’t you…”
“Yes I am,” Alice rolled her eyes. “Now where the fuck is my brother?”
