It is a wonderful night in Liyue, especially it's time to celebrate Halloween with lots of people out Trick n' Treating tonight, wearing costumes of their own choosing or just their normal outfits for any not feeling the festive spirit, or having something else to do in their time.
Many old friends would also spend the night to have fun, while some are still working overtime (like always) to stay on top of things even if they could spare a tiny bit of time to get out and have fun.
One person in particular, was spending the night in his own way. That person hanging around in a house quite far from Liyue Harbor is none other than the wandering Traveler and hero of so far five nations of the world of Teyvat, Aether.
He is strangely sound asleep in a nice, comfy bed, but was strangely dressed in not his usual outfit but more in a royal white and black Musketeer outfit, minus the large hat and sword because they're put by a small wooden nightstand.
He felt somewhat peaceful, having awaken from some kind of pleasant dream. He turns to his right to see none other than the intelligence agent from Liyue's Ministry of Civil Affairs and part of the Liyue Qixing Yelan, who is dressed in a more feminine dark blue and black spy outfit, sitting on a chair near the bed.
"Y-Yelan?" Aether asked, in a surprised tone.
Yelan giggled.
"Enjoying pleasant dreams so far?" Yelan asked.
"Don't tell me you put a sleeping herb in the tea I drank this early afternoon?" Aether questioned.
"Jackpot. But I did have a very good reason." Yelan answered.
"That remains to be seen." Aether thought, with a sweat drop coming down on his head.
"Paimon has told me you've been through quite a lot for the last few days and you haven't been getting enough rest." Yelan explained.
"Plus, you helped out plenty for tonight's Halloween coming up." Yelan added.
"Tonight? Is it now?" Aether questioned.
""No silly. We still have an hour left despite it still being nighttime." Yelan assured.
Aether let out a sigh.
"But there's one thing I wanna confirm with you first before we head out." Yelan said.
"What's that?" Aether asked.
Yelan smirked and got up from her chair, climbing on the bed while Aether was getting nervous.
Nothing in the form of lying or smooth sailing would fly by Yelan's eye, and she has every tool in her wheelhouse to get anyone to talk.
He closed his eyes out of fear, but instead, he felt a sweet, lovely feeling on his lips, and when he opened his eyes, he sees Yelan kissing him.
He was totally caught off guard, but gave in to the kiss as the two stayed like this for a long while before separating.
"Looks like the spy has caught her prey." Aether joked.
Yelan giggled. "You sure are amusing, Traveler."
Aether and Yelan stared at each other in love before leaning in to kiss again, completely lost to each other.

"WHERE THE HECK ARE THEY?!" Paimon questioned in total annoyance, dressed up like a tooth fairy and waiting for Aether to come back so they can go trick n' treating together.
