Chapter 4: Cantos II

Chapter Text

Oh, God's name! Come, let it go! Even through the dark, screaming through the night, through the mist of everflowing time... A sweet love is made sublime.

Canto XII What Happens After Dark... Pressed within the arms of him, I so adored The keeper of my charms, My Pride, My Lord, sworn to the sword

By day experiencing each sweet delight and meeting endless transports that one special night... when on a downy bed we fondly lay eating each other by our numerous play

'Til nature, alluring to this lucious game would fierce desire and quenchless lust inflame... Oh, Then we'd join in love's most warm embrace and press soft kisses on our every grace

Around my form, the demon's pliant limbs entwined, Loves seat of bliss to him I then resigned We pant, we throb, we both convulsive start Heavens end

Canto XIII What passions through us dart, We heave, we wriggle and bite, laugh, tremble, sigh, we taste alizarin bliss, we love and we die

Pressed in his arms, the one whom I adore
The keeper of my charms, my pride, my Lord, By day we taste sweet joys, by night explore, In endless rapture, pleasures we afford

Canto XIV Upon a downy bed, with passion's play
We meet in games that fuel our fierce desire
'Til nature's rise, inflamed, does us betray
And quenchless lust consumes us in its fire

Oh, then we join in love's warm, deep embrace Soft kisses pressed on every tender grace. Our forms entwined, we yield to passion's flight.

We tremble, laugh, and taste love's sweetest sigh... Consumed in bliss, we live, we love, and we die.
