Chapter 22: What is Death

Summary:

(baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more~)
just kidding

What is Death
But a place you can walk and walk
And get lost in the mist?
Never having to face your past
(Your life)

What is Death
But an emotion?
A feeling of freedom from your burdens
A lightness in your mind?
In your heart

What is Death
But the days you longed for someone to hold your hand
And you got it?
A dream that was fulfilled by someone else
A life that has passed and become something new

Death is the future
Without the pain of the past
And the uncertainty of the present

Notes:

One of the poems I decided not to post made me question, for a moment, what kinda subconcious issues I have to have written it: on the other hand with this poem I went "oh right"

also for anyone that pays attention yes I did just post almost ten poems at once
