Louis De Pont Du Lac has fans in a frenzy after being photographed leaving The Vampire Lestat’s house earlier this afternoon.
The 33-year-old actor and photographer was trying to keep a low profile in sunglasses and a baseball cap as he made his way to his car.
This sighting comes months after the couple’s highly publicized split in December of last year… leading fans of both to wonder if the famously on-and-off-again pair are back on again!!! Louis is currently filming the next season of The Rue Royal in Los Angeles, not far from The Vampire Lestat’s palatial Beverly Hills mansion.
The pair were first linked publicly in late 2019, after Louis was spotted backstage during The Vampire Lestat’s North American tour. It’s widely speculated that many of the songs on Lestat’s debut and sophomore albums are about their relationship. They’ve broken up and gotten back together three times since then - maybe this time they’ll make it last???

The Vampire Lestat was spotted on the set of AMC’s The Rue Royal, currently filming its sixth season in Los Angeles and Paris, holding a huge bouquet of roses and begging to see his ex-partner. The 34-year-old was uncharacteristically low-key in a pair of sunglasses, white tank top, and slacks, his blonde hair tied up in a low bun. His former boyfriend, Louis De Pont Du Lac, 33, was decked out in costume in a sharp striped suit, complete with his character Jacob Anderson’s signature cane.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, a source reveals that Lestat was swiftly escorted off set by a Production Assistant. ‘He wasn’t pleased. Had one of his patented Lestat tantrums,’ the insider said, but added that he did leave the bouquet on set with instructions that it was to be given to Louis. ‘The bouquet disappeared afterwards. I don’t know if it made it to Louis. He was desperate to get it to him.”
This grand gesture comes a month after Du Lac was seen leaving the rocker’s LA home and five months after the ex-couple’s breakup in December 2024. Du Lac was seen at the 97th Academy Awards earlier this year with his daughter Claudia De Pont Du Lac, marking the first time he had attended the event sans Lestat. The Emmy Award Winning Actor was deck out in a custom Loewe suit, while his 16-year-old daughter, also an actress, walked the red carpet in a gorgeous vintage SS94 Vivienne Westwood gown.
The Vampire Lestat has had a busy year so far as well, taking home Album of the Year for his sophomore album ‘Savage Garden’. But it was his outfit that had everyone talking, a stunning Schiaparelli gown from the Fall 2024 collection, complete with a veil and dramatically long nails. He recently signed on to become the face of Balmain's Spring 2026 collection.
Lestat previously shared with Vogue last year that he valued his relationship with Du Lac ‘more than anything’. He added, “Louis is the center of my universe, the altar I pray to, my muse, the love of my life. Every thing I do, every piece of art I make, is dedicated to him.’
Season six of The Rue Royal premieres Spring 2026 exclusively on AMC.

Louis De Pont Du Lac Currently in Talks to Star In Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Ravages’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Louis De Pont Du Lac is breaking into the movie scene with a bang. The actor is in early negotiations to star in Luca Guadagnino’s much-anticipated upcoming film ‘Ravages’, joining Hunter Schafer (‘Euphoria’), Anna Sawai (‘Shogun’), and Josh O’Connor (‘Challengers’).
Not much is known about the script, written by ‘Challengers’ and ‘Queer’ screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes, but in an interview with Deadline in April director Guadagnino hinted that the movie would take place in 1970s San Francisco.
If negotiations go through as planned, this would mark De Pont Du Lac’s second collaboration with Guadagnino, after playing a supporting role in Guadagnino’s limited series ‘Swimming Pools’ last year, which won three Primetime Emmy Awards. The American actor is also currently filming the sixth season of AMC’s ‘The Rue Royal’.
Du Lac is repped by Azalea and Fair Play.

LOUIS DE PONT DU LAC AND THE VAMPIRE LESTAT MAKE IT OFFICIAL… AGAIN
Louis De Pont Du Lac and The Vampire Lestat have made their relationship public after months of dating speculation, stepping out for a romantic date night at Nobu Malibu!!!
The couple had dated on and off since at least 2019, and when they broke up in December 2024 many fans thought they might’ve been done for good. But it seems like they managed to patch things up since then… looking very much loved up at the popular sushi restaurant.
The Vampire Lestat opted for a sultry, all black leather look, while Du Lac looked effortlessly stylish in a bomber jacket and jeans. Both spent the night talking quietly with each other, Lestat with his arm around Du Lac’s waist like a true gentleman.
Both stars have been busy as of late — The Vampire Lestat has hinted that he’s working on his next album a year after finishing his wildly popular Savage Garden tour. Du Lac finished filming season 6 of his TV show ‘The Rue Royal’ earlier this year and is slated to appear next in the movie ‘Ravages’.
Let’s hope these lovebirds make it last this time!!!

(Someone laughs softly in the background)
“Ah, I have a request for ‘Blood and Roses’, you have been looking at my SoundCloud! One of my favorite songs I have written. It is beautiful, n’est-ce pas? Perhaps I shall put it on the album.”
(He puts his phone back on its filming stand and sits back at his piano, then looks at someone to his left, off-screen)
“What do you think, mon chèr?”
(The reply is unintelligible, but it makes Lestat smile. He looks back at the camera.)

(He begins to play)

Louis De Pont Du Lac Is Ready to Start a New Chapter
The Rue Royal star reflects on life, love, and family

I first met Louis De Pont Du Lac when he was still one of many struggling actors in New York, going to auditions during the day and bartending at night to make ends meet. But even then there was something about him, a magnetic pull that drew you towards him, a pull that everyone who watches AMC’s The Rue Royal can feel through the screen.
I feel it now too, sitting across from Du Lac in the living room of his New York penthouse. The furniture is stylish and modern, if a little cold, but filled with little lived-in details that say "somebody actually lives here". A jacket thrown over the arm of a sofa. Framed photos of his daughter. An antique clock that stands out amidst the other wall decor. Du Lac offers me coffee - “I don’t have any cream or sugar at the moment, so you’ll have to take it black” - and we regard each other for a moment after, mugs in hand. Then he cracks a smile. “It’s good to see you again, Daniel.”
There are books scattered all over the coffee table and a script laying face down, covered in notes written in red sharpie. “I’ve been doing research for ‘Ravages’” he explains. He likes reading books better than searching on the internet, takes notes in a leather-bound journal that he takes with him everywhere. “I want to get a feel for the era that my character’s living in. I’ve been to San Fransisco before, but obviously it’s changed a lot since the 70s.”
‘Ravages’ is veteran director Luca Guadagnino’s next film, slated to start filming in April of this year. While the full plot of the movie remains under wraps, Guadagnino has revealed that the film centers around a group of friends living in 1970’s San Francisco, an era that I, actually, was there for.
“You were in San Francisco in the 70s? I should pick your brain for my research then.” Louis says with a laugh when I tell him this.
This film is Du Lac’s second collaboration with Guadagnino, having worked with him previously in the director’s HBO miniseries ‘Swimming Pools’. “I love Luca,” Du Lac says. “He’s such a wonderful person to work with. So when he called me and asked me to do ‘Ravages’, I was on board immediately. Hadn’t even read the script or anything. First time that’s ever happened to me, someone casting me without me having to audition.”
Du Lac shot to stardom after a memorable turn as a malfunctioning android in Netflix’s Black Mirror, which netted him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the BAFTA Awards. He was cast as the lead in The Rue Royal almost immediately afterwards. His portrayal of vampire Jacob Anderson was met with immediate critical acclaim and, to his chagrin, turned him into a bit of a sex symbol. “Oh god, it was so insane,” Du Lac says of that time. “Everything felt like it was just happening so quickly, you know? Suddenly I couldn’t go outside without being recognized, people were trying to break into my house, I had to hire a bodyguard at one point because I had a stalker, do you remember that? It was hell on my mental health. I remember one night, sitting in my trailer on set after not sleeping for three days, just with my head in my hands wondering - was all this really what I wanted?”
And was it?
“I mean, I have my moments,” Du Lac says, shrugging. “But yes. I think I’m incredibly lucky to say that I’m doing exactly what I want to be doing in my career. And I’ve learned so much about myself since I started in the industry. I think the struggles I had then really shaped me into who I am today.”
We move to the apartment’s balcony after we finish our coffees. He has a stunning view of uptown Manhattan - Central Park is visible in the distance. “Claudia’s hanging out with some friends there,” he says. “They’re making TikToks or something, I don’t know.”
Claudia is Du Lac’s 16 year old daughter, an actress - “and aspiring Instagram influencer” Louis adds - in her own right, having starred as Juliet in director Santiago Francis's production of Romeo & Juliet at the Théâtre des Vampires in Paris earlier this year. Du Lac has never done theater himself, but has done his best to support his daughter’s aspirations to be on the stage, attending as many of her shows as he could in between shoots.
“I had her so, so young. I fucked up a lot during those early years. I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. But she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” Du Lac says. “I try to do right by her.” Claudia’s mother was never in the picture and Du Lac had been newly estranged from his family when Claudia was born, so Du Lac was suddenly thrust into the role of a single-father at the age of 17 …
… “Les and I are planning on redecorating the apartment soon, so this place is going to look completely different by the time this article comes out.”
He’s referring, of course, to the Lestat de Lioncourt. Better known as The Vampire Lestat to the public, the controversial, larger-than life rock star just recently released his third album, ‘Saint’, which has been dominating the Billboard Hot 200.
“He hates all this,” Du Lac says, gesturing broadly towards the sleek, minimalist design of his apartment. “Says it lacks personality. And these days I agree with him, honestly.”
The Vampire Lestat entered the pop culture landscape right around the same time Du Lac did, breaking the record for the fastest video to reach one billion views on YouTube with his debut single, ‘Long Face’. Since then, he’s become one of the most famous artists in the world, selling out two world tours and headlining Coachella in 2023. But to Du Lac, he’s just Les, the charming French man with a penchant for the dramatic that he met one night when he was 25 and working as a bouncer in New Orleans. He swept Du Lac off his feet immediately, and the two were dating by the end of the week. And broken up by the end of the year.
Du Lac laughs sheepishly at this, scratching the back of his head. “I mean everyone knows at this point, right? How on and off we were.”
He declines to share how many times he and Lioncourt broke up and got back together before their public debut as a couple in 2019, but their subsequent four break-up-and-make-ups have been widely reported on in the press - and chronicled in The Vampire Lestat’s first and second albums. Most recently, the couple reunited in June of last year, after reconnecting backstage at Paris Fashion Week where Lioncourt was walking the Balmain Spring 2026 show. Those waiting for news of another breakup, however, will be disappointed.
“We’ve been through so much together, you know? I won’t pretend our relationship was easy,” Du Lac says. “We both had our problems that we brought into the relationship. We fought a lot. For a while we were stuck in this cycle of being miserable with each other and miserable without each other. And when we both started becoming more well known, everything became so public, which added a whole new layer of difficulty to things. But we kept trying, over and over again, to make it work.” He looks out the window, eyes watering. But he’s smiling. “I think we both knew we would never love anybody else. Like, he’s it for me. Lestat. He’s the love of my life. And I’m his. We've grown so much together, changed so much. And I think - no, actually, I know - we’re finally on the same page this time.”
The two regularly attend couples therapy now, something that Du Lac admits they probably should have tried earlier. They split their time between Los Angeles and New York, but both want to buy a house in New Orleans eventually. They have plans to adopt a dog, after both gave into daughter Claudia’s begging. "Lestat is insistent we name the dog Mojo, which I think is a ridiculous name," Du Lac adds. "We'll see."
Most recently, Du Lac and Lioncourt attended the Golden Globes together, where Du Lac was nominated for his work in ‘The Rue Royal’. Though he didn’t win, he still had a great time. “I mean, you never go in thinking you’re going to win. I’m always just happy to be nominated, you know? I was just there to enjoy myself. But Les was pissed. Got banned from Twitter during the after-party, he still hasn’t gotten his account back yet.” Lioncourt did, indeed, get his account banned on Twitter shortly after the awards show ended, for using language that I cannot repeat in this article to express his displeasure that Du Lac hadn’t won in his category. “He thinks I should win every award I’m nominated for,” Du Lac adds fondly.
It’s now that I notice that he’s twisting something on his left ring finger as he speaks. Du Lac catches me trying to catch a glimpse of it and laughs, saying “You can ask to see you know, it’s not a secret”. He holds his hand out and shows me an intricate diamond ring. It's an engagement ring - a small pink diamond set into a delicate gold band. It sparkles as it catches the light from the kitchen window. Du Lac thanks me warmly when I congratulate him.
“I had to talk him down from getting the biggest diamond he could find,” he jokes, holding the ring up to the light. Du Lac had wanted a simple gold band with no gemstone, which Lioncourt apparently found unacceptable, so they compromised with a smaller diamond, less ostentatious than the one Lioncourt had initially picked out. There’s no date for the wedding yet, both of them too busy at the moment to find time to plan it, but Du Lac isn’t in a rush. “We’ve known each other for so long, we’re basically married already,” he says. “And we could always just elope.” …
… There’s the sound of keys rattling at the door and Lioncourt himself saunters in to the room and announces himself loudly. Du Lac’s eyes immediately light up as he enters, and he tilts his face up to ask for a kiss, a request Lioncourt happily obliges. He chats idly with the two of us for a few minutes before declaring that he’s exhausted and needs to take a nap, whirling out of the room in a tornado of blonde hair and glitter. Du Lac watches him with a smile as he leaves. They both have busy years ahead - Lioncourt is gearing up for another world tour and Du Lac has three different projects lined up to film, but they feel, as Du Lac tells me, more grounded and stable than they’ve ever been.
“Not to fall into cliché, but it feels like we’re turning over a new leaf,” Du Lac says. “I guess I’ve come to the realization that we have all of eternity in front of us.”
And how does he feel about that?
“Good, I think. I’m excited for what’s coming and I’m thankful for everything that’s happened in the past. I’m getting to a point in my life where I feel like I’m finally figuring out who I really am,” Du Lac says. “I’m content with myself and my life, finally. I feel good. I’m happy.” ■
