The Bunny and the Bat[]TADC Fanfic

Summary:

While the gang are playing a game of Truth or Dare, Jax is asked a simple and innocent question about his family from Pomni.

Only, it's not that simple and innocent for him.

He nervously talks about how he was an only child and that he never met his dad due to personal reasons.

When asked about his mother, he straight up leaves.

This leaves the gang confused and a little concerned.

Meanwhile, while he's outside, a new visiting character comes to visit the circus. In particular, him.

At first, Jax is confused and doesn't know who she is.

But, when she reveals herself, he trembles in fear, terrified of what she wants from him.

Notes:

I do not own ANY of the original characters of TADC created by Gooseworx and Glitch Productions.

Any other character mentioned that is not from TADC is one of my OCs.

Anyways, the plot and main basis of this story came from a dream I had once.

Be warned, there be angst upon reading.

Chapter 1: The Broken Childhood of a "Sissy" Boy

Chapter Text

????? walked home from school, both in humiliation and shame. He was currently wearing a My Little Pony t-shirt and pink skirt, with purple tennis shoes to match, average clothing for young little girls.

Everyone thought he was a girl just based on his looks and mother's words alone. But he was a boy! He was born a boy! He felt like a boy! He was meant to be a boy! But, his mother forced him to act like a girl…all because she wanted a FREAKING daughter.

He debated crying right then and there, but held his tears back. Crybabies are for sissies, and he's not a sissy!

So, he tredged onward back home, back to the monster that was supposed to be his mother. At least he had his pet rabbit, Dignity, to keep him company.

When he entered his house, his mother smothered him, asking if he was a "good girl" at school and all that crap. He just sucked it up and played along, acting all cheery and happy as he put up his backpack, going up to his room as his mother went to the kitchen to make dinner later that afternoon.

He entered his room, sighing at the horrible reminder at how pink and girly it was. As he lied down on his bed, Dignity hopped up to his head, crawling into his arms.

He smiled, petting his ears. "Heh, only you truly know my pain," he said as he continued to stroke Dignity's ears.

One day, he would finally leave his mother behind. One day, he would be free…even if it meant a new prison.

Notes:

Told you there would be angst.
