Chapter Text
The Sun.
Bright, Loud, Eyesore, Too Hot.
Warm, Light, Lifebringer, Beautiful.
Feeling the Sun on your skin, warming your clothes, bringing colour behind your eyelids is always a treat. Sometimes you decide to just lounge on grass, pavement, rock, cloth and just soak it in, the feeling of the suns rays. Sometimes you mourn that fact that it’s much harder now for you to get a tan the natural way. Sometimes you laugh in joy at no longer having the risk of skin cancer, which your grandpa suffered from, or sunburns, which most people have experienced.
Most all of the time you’re thankful for it, for the Moon, and the Stars, and the grass, the rock, the Sky itself for being in place in its blue-purple-red-orange-white-grey-almost-black glory.
With all its different positions in the sky, the sun looks different in each one. Staring at it with your eyes turned Special you feel you can enjoy it much better than most Humans are capable of, and you can’t wait for an eclipse, Lunar or Solar, to be able to see those too.
