Work Text:
“sky? ” nani muttered looking at the guy in front of him who’s staring at what knows where, probably zoning out.
“skyyy? ” he asks again more loudly this time yet his voice soft. This time sky raises his gaze, and their eyes meet.
Nani visibly gulps at the intense stare he gets from those feline eyes, unconsciously he takes a step back and yelps when his back meets the wall of the lift.
They are in stuffed in a crowded lift with their staff and crew members with him being pressed against the wall, if it wasn’t for sky around him he might have gotten crushed.
Nani gulps when he hears a whisper in his ear,
“are you okay?” and yelps again when he realizes they have gotten incredibly closer with sky crowding him. He can’t even see other crew members with sky hiding his view standing tall and broad.
“I’m fine” Nani mutters his voice rushed, he doesn’t understands why suddenly his heart beats faster and the tips of his ears and his cheeks feel warm.
Why he suddenly feels so hot?
“what-what were you looking at a minute ago? ” Nani asks, trying to make a conversation because it feels like him he doesn’t, he might explode by the fact how they are pressed against each other.
But. It seems he asked the wrong question as sky answers.
“mole.”
“huh? ”
“the mole on your neck. It’s really pretty” Nani chokes hearing the answer. If his heart didn’t already beat fast, it’s beating even more faster now.
His hand unconsciously touches where the mole is. He has plenty of moles, yet the one in the neck has always stood up for some reason and he hated it.
He has always been conscious of it.
“your past lover must have loved you a lot. As you deserve” Nani hears sky say in his raspy voice and gapes, rising his head to look at the other who is already staring at him.
Nani isn’t able to hold the eye contact and shakes his head, flushed.
“I don’t think so” he whispers, fiddling with his fingers.
“then in this life I must make you believe that you are so insanely loveable? ” sky questions his voice in the softest tones, Nani gasps.
“w-what?”
