Chapter 1: Test of Faith (Part 1)

Chapter Text

The searing pain of desire and want burns deeply within her body. The flower nestled within her hidden garden moistens as the feeling she buried deep down crawls its way back to the surface, for air it starves for, to breathe again. In case it isn't obvious, she was horny.

Ibara Shiozaki was told that these feelings were sinful, those of a harlot, and for all her life, she tried her best to avoid these feelings. This was easy enough, having gone to a private, all girls Christian school for most of her life up to that point, with UA being the first time she's been in a public school. While here, she was forcefully indoctrinated on learning about the other sex, being rather brutish, macho, and unkempt. This was very foreign to her... She'd be lying if she said it didn't interest her.

But despite her study on them, she never found one specific that really caught her eye... Until the UA Sports Festival. As anyone who was there to witness it would say, the Midoriya vs. Todoroki fight was the highlight of the entire event. Ibara was in the stands watching the match, shocked, disgusted, and somewhat moved by the grotesque display of bodily sacrifice for another. While the meaning and history behind the words he shouted were completely lost on her, she could feel the raw emotion that stemmed from. She wanted to know more and what exactly he was making her feel.

-----

The UA greenhouse was a small building located east of the main school. The greenhouse was usually used by students with plant based Quirks or people with a general interest in gardening. Ibara was a mixture of both categories, enjoying the simple pleasure of growing and taking care of small plants, and the sunlight and light watery mist helped keep her vine healthy. Ibara was currently harvesting some vegetables for tonights dinner at her home, plucking carrots, tomatoes, and some lettuce. She sighed happily when the door to the greenhouse was open. "Hello? Is there anyone else here?".

Ibara looked over to see Izuku in some gardening gear, gloves, boots, the like. "Oh, hello, Midoriya. I've never seen you around here before.". Ibara said as Izuku knelt down with her. "Y-yeah. I heard about the greenhouse and wanted to try my hand at it.". Izuku rubbed the back of his head. He went to go dig up a carrot, grabbing the stem. But when he went to pull it up, it broke in half. Ibara lightly chuckles. "Well, it would seem you have some things to learn. And it is nice to have some company. A friend from my class, Kodai, usually comes down with me but only for the tomatoes.".

Izuku chuckles. "So, how was your internship? Mine went... Well, I wouldn't say good, but it wasn't bad either...". Ibara smiled and dug out the other part of the broken vegetable. "It was very nice to get some on the field work. It helps me imagine what it will be like when I finally get my license. Hehe, my mother's reaction to when I told my parents that I was dreaming of being a hero was quite humorous. She's seen heroes on the television, fighting villains and running into dangerous areas and situations. She nearly fainted.". Ibara muses at memory, a smile on her face. "If you don't mind me asking, Midoriya, but why did you decide you wanted to be a hero?".

"Well... There was this old video of All Might, of him saving people and people them at ease after a villain attack. I used to rewatch it all the time as a kid, I probably gave it over a million views alone.". The two chuckles at the thought of a little him, bouncing in a chair, watching it over and over again. "It made me want to be a hero, to put people at ease just by me telling them that I'm here, and there's no reason to be scared anymore. And, if I'm being honest, being here right now feels like a dream... One that I'm scared I'm going to wake up from and be back in my bed... Alone...". He took a deep breath to steady himself. "I-I'm sorry that was... I'm getting a little too personal.". He chuckles nervously, looking away from her.

"No, it's very much alright, Midoriya. My reason for being here is, in comparison to yours... On the weaker side... Heh...". Ibara let out a small laugh of nervousness. "Hey. No reason to become a hero is weak. We're all here to do good, aren't we?". Izuku gives her a reassuring smile, putting her at ease. "I suppose so... Well, I want to become a hero because I simply wanted to help people. I live my life for the love of my family, my friends, and my lord, and I want to do right by them and be a good person. I don't have a deeper reason for it than that.". Ibara sighs.

"Well, it's a lovely reason.". Izuku said, smiling ever brighter. Ibara felt something in her chest burn, not that of pain, but that of affection. She had not known this boy for long, this was the first time they've ever talked, but she felt a connection with him. One that she didn't want to die out. Ibara smiles. "I thank you, Midoriya. You are a kind man. I... Have to get going, but I do hope we can talk again.".

Ibara finished picking the vegetables and stood up, both waving goodbye to one another as she walked out the door and headed towards her home, hand over her heart.

-----

Sleep comes easy for Ibara. After brushing her teeth, switching into her sleepwear, and giving a nightly prayer, she usually found herself asleep in just under five minutes... But not tonight. That burning in her body lingered, getting hotter and traveling downwards into her nether regions. Her breath came out more as a pant, almost visible as her face her grew redder by the second. She didn't know what this feeling was. It was alien and uncomfortable for her. Clasping her hands together tightly, closes her eyes, and she starts to speak a prayer to try and end this. It starts to work, the feeling starting to die down within her.

She opened her eyes, seeing that she was no longer in her bedroom. She wasn't quite sure where she was. Flower and vines laid across the ground in an abyss of pink mist that surrounded her. She could see nothing in the distance, not even vague shapes. She didn't know what to do, she didn't know where to go, she was scared of this unfamiliar place. But she walked forward, hoping to find anything.

Her breath grew heavy, feeling as if she wasn't alone wherever she was. Looking around, she spotted no one, putting her at some sort of ease. But it didn't last long. A pair of hands emerged from the mist, holding onto her slender hips, the thumbs caressing her belly. Ibaras gasps turn into whimpers as they trail upwards, holding her plump breasts in their hands. Ibara starts to pant, trying to deny herself the feelings of want brewing inside of her.

One of the hands moves further up, holding her around her chin and jaw. Ibara opens her mouth, letting the figure gently place their thumb into her mouth to suckle on like a baby, letting her taste the flavor of their skin. The other hand peels away her gown, her naked form starting to slowly feel the air around them. She couldn't take it anymore. Her body was on fire. She needs something, anything to help put it out. A figure starts to slowly leave the mist, only giving her a silhouette, but she'd be a fool if she didn't know who it was. "I... I-I... M-Midoriya!"

"Ibara! Ibara, wake up, dear. You're going to be late.". The feminine voice of her mother woke Ibara up from her slumber and from her dream. Ibara laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling as light seeped into her room and onto her body. She didn't know what to do after... All that. Sitting up in bed, she came to a dreadful sight. The sheets on her bed were soaked in some kind of liquid. She was a little worried, scared she might have accidentally wetted the bed, something she hadn't done since she was a child.

Panicked, Ibara quickly took her sheets off, shoving them into her laundry basket before calming herself. It was just a dream. It didn't mean anything. She kept repeating this in her head as she started to change into her uniform, hoping to convince herself into believing that it was true. She undid her gown and came to yet another dreadful sight
In her sleep, her vines subconscious wrapped around her body. One around her right breast, a few wrapping around her waist, and a few more going down her plump thighs.

Ibara retracted her plant tendrils with her face as red as her body would allow it to be. She didn't know what was wrong with her, why her body was acting like this, why her mind was driving her to commit such sin. Shakily putting her uniform on, Ibara knew that only one person who could have an answer. And she really... Really didn't want to ask, but she knew there was no other way around it. So today, after school, she was going to ask Izuku Midoriya what exactly he was doing to her.

Chapter Text

Valentines Day. The day to celebrate love, spending it with a romantic partner, showing their love for each other through gifts, going out, or staying in bed for that special gift. But that's only if you... Have a date. Yui was part of that latter group, with all her friends having dates and any guy she was interested in, also having one.

-----

Yui sat down at a bench outside of the UA building, feeling like she needed to get fresh air and get away from all the lovey dovey junk around her. She stares off aimlessly into the distance when she hears a creak of someone sitting down next to her. Looking to her right, the familiar green hair of Izuku Midoriya was the first thing she saw. "H-hey, Kodai. I hope you don't mind me sitting here.". Izuku said as he rubbed the back of his neck, nervous. "It's okay. Why are you here? I thought you and Uraraka were together?". Yui asked the boy in her usual monotone voice.

"Oh, uhhh... N-no... I was going to ask her out t-today, I got us movie tickets but I... Wasn't fast enough to ask before someone else did, and no one else was interested in going...". Izuku explains, sighing. "That's sad.". Yui put bluntly. Izuku just deadpans "... Yeah... Do you also not have a valentine? I thought someone would have asked you out... Y-you are very pretty, anyone would be very lucky to...". Izuku blushes, looking away.

"No. Sadly." She put simply. The two sat there for a minute, listening to the sounds of birds chirping and people walking and talking. "... You said you have tickets to a movie, correct? It would be a shame to waste the money on them and not go.". Yui finally broke the silence. He thought for a minute. "You know what... You're right, Kodai. The movie starts on two hours, maybe we can get something to eat before we go... I-if you want to, of course.". Yui nodded as she got up, getting her bag.

-----

Yui took small bites out of her burger, extra tomato. Izuku chuckles awakedly, finding it kinda adorable. "I-i'm guessing you really like tomato, huh?". Yui gave him a small nod. "They're very juicy. What did you get?". "Just a normal one, I didn't want to do anything fancy, heh.". He ate some of his food, trying to ignore the send of slight embarrassment. The place they went to get some food was having a Valentines Day special, with couples getting 50% off. The second the two of them walked through the door, they were mistaken for a couple. Cheaper food, at least.

Yui took a sip from her drink before starting a conversation, something out of character for her of all girls. "How has school been?". Izuku was taken aback a little by this. "Oh well, uhhh... Good. I'm having some trouble with science, I've never been that great at it to begin with. Yui nodded. "I'm the same way with English class.". "Oh, well, I'd be more than happy to help you with that.". Izuku offered her, Yui perking up.

"Well, I'd like that, thank you. We can study together on Monday. The weekend is going to be busy for me since I pre-ordered the new All Might game." Yui said casual before going back to eating her food, not noticing that got his full attention. "Wait, you also pre-ordered it? No way, so did I!". Izuku gets a little excited now, finding someone he could play it with. "Yeah. I played the first one when it first came out. Even that horrible sequel.". Yui said as she put down her food. "Oh, I know... 12,000¥ just for the original with bad graphics and even worse gameplay.". Izuku chuckles, happy he found someone he could talk to about this with.

"So I was meaning to ask. What movie are we seeing?". Yui tilted her head. "Oh, right. I forgot the name, but it's this cheesy romance movie that I heard Uraraka wanted to go to, I forgot the name.". Izuku answered her question. Yui giving him a hum. "Hmmm. I've never really been into romantic movies. Do you think we can exchange them for something else? Maybe for a horror movie.".

"Not a bad idea.". Izuku smiled, happy he didn't have to sit through that anymore if they could exchange them.

-----

After finishing their food and talking to each other for a while, they had an hour and a half til the movie started. Yui suggested they could head to the arcade just down the road. "How does this work?". Yui tilted her head as Izuku showed her a dance machine they could do together. "It's simple. Arrows come down on the screen, and we have to press the buttons on the floor to match them.". Izuku explained as he inserted a coin to start it. Yui shrugged and took her spot beside Izuku.

The game began as the arrows started to decend Yui was actually pretty good at this, getting a perfect on almost every single one. Meanwhile, Izuku was doing... Alright, at best. Missing a lot. By the end of it, Yui had. Perfect score with an S, while Izuku had a mere D. But despite the massive gap in score, Izuku had fun, seeing Yui enjoy herself. While she couldn't express it through her face, or body, or words, Izuku could innately tell that she was also having fun. Izuku wipes his sweat. "Beginners luck... Anything else you wanna try?".

Yui looked around at the bright and blinking lights of the games before seeing something that caught her eye. She pointed over. "Bear.". Izuku looked to where she was pointing, seeing a claw machine full of prizes like stuffed toys and trinkets. They headed over, Yui inserting a coin and angling the claw over the thing she wanted. A small blue bear with red hearts all over. The claw decended, grabbing it by the ear and moving it towards the hole. Only for the grip on it to loosen and it falling back into the pile of other prizes. Yui's eyes narrow.

She inserted another. And then another. And another. And another. And another. And every single time, the machine seemed to just want to screw her over, dropping the bear. Yui's brow furrows, annoyed, Izuku seeing an actual emotion on her face for the first time ever. Yui goes to get another coin, but soon, she finds out she used all the ones she had on her and Izuku. She let out a displeased hum. Izuku felt bad, coming up with an idea. Looking around to make sure no one was looking, Izuku knelt down and used a small bit of Black Whip to go up into the machine, grab the bear, and pull it out.

Yui went to go sit down at a nearby bench, annoyed at the fact she spent all of the coins they had and the damn machine was rigged. She sighed, suddenly feeling something drop onto her lap. Looking down, she saw it was the bear she tried so hard to get, with the man that got it for her sitting down next to her. "I hope I got you the right one, heh.". Izuku joked, feeling a little bad since he had to cheat, but if it was to make Yui happy, then so be it. Yui held it on her hands, feeling the cheap yet soft material it was made out of.

"Honestly, I think we could have just bought one over at a toy store.". Izuku chuckles, thinking about the unneeded strife to get it in the first place. Yui lets out a small laugh, also thinking about back on it. Izuku was caught off guard, more so when Yui rested her head on his shoulder. "Thank you, Midoriya.". Izuku blushes and rubs the back of his head. "I-it was nothing, really... We... Still have some more time before the movie starts. I can get more coins, and we can head back inside.". Yui looked up at him, a small smile on her face. "I'd like that.". They get up and head inside again.

After getting some more coins, they went to a few more machines. A two player shooting gallery game. Yui was pretty good at this one. Shooting down every buck that came across the screen with amazing accuracy. Izuku was honestly really scared of how good she'd be with a real gun. "Wow, you are, uhhh... Good with that thing...". Yui gives him a small hum before putting down the plastic rifle.

They headed towards a few other machines, a racing sim with Izuku coming in first for the first time while they were here. Izuku would be lying if he said he didn't feel a small sense of pride. They played a two player fighting game, with Yui getting back her lost win. They were walking around when Izuku spotted something. A love tester

After informing Yui, they decide to test the machine. It wouldn't hurt to try. Putting their hands on either handle, they watch as the meter starts to rise up all the way to the top, saying that their love was "burning hot". The two looked at each other... Before laughing. Izuku chuckled while Yui let out small giggles. "These things are random anyway. I saw a few more games in the back. Come on.". Izuku said as he led the way.

-----

They spent an hour at the arcade before heading towards the theater, able to switch the tickets. "I'm surprised you want to head in half an hour early. I'm pretty sure we'll have to sit through trailers for other movies.". Izuku said, popcorn in hand. "I like trailers.". Yui said, holding onto her bear. He just smiles. "Well, that makes one of us... Hey. I just wanna say thanks for hanging out with me today... I know it's probably awkward, but... Thank you, Kodai.".

Yui didn't hesitate to give a response. "And I wanna thank you, Midoriya.". The two smile as they headed inside to find their seats.

-----

Setsuna flops down onto the couch after her date, groaning as she removes the hair from her face. "So I'm guessing it didn't go well?". Itsuka said she took her coat off, having gotten back from her own date. Setsuna groans even louder. "Yeah, guess was a total sleezeball. Get this. He took a hair from my head, put it in his food, told the waiter he "found it in his food", all to get it for free. Enough of me complaining, how was all of yours?". Setsuna asked her friends, with them giving her variants of her own. Kinoko flops down next to the lizard girl. "Bleh...".

At that moment, Yui steps inside. A drink she got from the theater in one hand, and the bear held in her other. "Hey Ice Queen. Where've you been? You also had a date?". Setsuna asked her friend. "No. Midoriya and I hung out all day. We went to get some food. The woman there assumed him and I were a couple and gave us a discount. Afterward, we went to the arcade where he got him this bear.". She gestures to the stuffed animal in her arm. "Then we went to a movie. He was planning on going with Uraraka, but she already had a date. But we left after thirty minutes since the move him and I exchanged the tickets for was not good. We talked on the way back here and parted ways.". After speaking, Yui took a drink of her soda.

The other girls were... Dumbfounded that Yui just... Spoke in multiple sentences. And telling them a story at that. "... So... You two went on a date?". Itsuka said as she raised an eye brow. "No.". Yui shook her head, convinced that they were just hanging out as friends. "Girl... Everything you just described is a date.". Setsuna spoke. It took Yui a full minute to comprehend all of the days events, growing a small blush on her face. "... Oh.".

Notes:

To me, this doesn't feel like my strongest work. Yui is such a weird character to work with for me

Chapter Text

As silent as a church mouse, the front door of the residents was opened and closed as the young girl entered her home. Her breathing was almost nonexistent. You'd really have to look hard to see the small rising and dropping of her chest. Her footsteps were calculated and quiet. She didn't know what anyone to know she was here. Two voices could be heard a few rooms over, a male and female voice. The girl quietly traveled up the stairs, just out of sight of the two figures, and towards the bedroom at the end of the hall. Her small, safe haven away from everyone and everything... But even then, it failed to live up to the title. Small, bland, almost empty, only having the bare necessities for it to count as a bedroom. There was no window, so the only light was the artificial light from the light bulb above her head.

Sitting on the bed, the girl stares down at the floor and her feet. The only noise is the ticking clock and cool air being pumped into it by the air vent. The girl traced her finger along her cold skin on her palm, likening it to that of a dead body. Rotting away in a coffin, underground, and away from people. Unseen and unheard. She hated it. She wanted to be noticed, to be heard, but she could never bring herself to try. Fear strikes her down, keeping in place and silent.

So she didn't know what she was doing. She knew it was stupid that she could potentially ruin her life with this... But she felt like she had no other choice, like it was live or die. And she wanted to live, even if it made her feel like she wanted to vomit.

-----

@new_account#53823 made a new post!

Underneath the message was a selfie. The girl had her school unform open, her arms still through the sleeves. Her grey bra was undone, in the background on her bed. Her face was out of frame, her chin, bottom lip, and ends of her hair being the only thing visible. Her bare, pale skin breasts on full display for anyone and everyone to see, even the small imperfections like the small mole on her left breast.

-----

Staring down at the screen, regret and disgust filling her body the second she hit send. Is this really what she wanted? To show off her bare and vulnerable body to the world? Making her think she was no better than the whores online that people masturbate to? She had to stop herself from crying, biting her lip to have the pain overwhelm her senses instead. She turned her phone off as she laid down in her bed. Face deep in the pillow, she tried her hardest to convince herself that this was for the best. That this was going to help. She closes her eyes, trying her best to fall asleep.

-----

Everything was fuzzy, like trying to find the right frequency on an old television. Eventually, everything started to become clearer until we saw a small girl, a mere 5 years old on her first day of primary school. She had a smile on her face, happy to be here, to meet people, to make friends. Scanning the classroom, her eyes landed on three girls talking amongst themselves. The little girl happily rushes over.

"H-hello! It is very nice to meet all of you! I-I hope that me and you all can become friends very soon!". The little girl spoke to the three, excitement in her voice. The three girls stopped talking, looking at her, confused. The girl had an odd way of speaking, being very verbose, even for a girl her age. Not to mention her odd stance, letting her hands dangle in front of her. She was a very odd girl, with the other three not responding well to it at all. Moving away from her without a saying a word.

The girl was confused, trying to walk up to them again, only for one of them to push her away from them. The girl was saddened, but she tried not to let that get her down. Instead, walking towards another group of kids... Only for them to do the same. She tried again with another. And another. And another. All of them act coldly towards her for no reason. The girl tried again, walking towards a group that, like the other, rejected her.

She got close, only for a boy to grab and push her away, making her fall to the ground, hitting her arm on a small table on the way down. Tears weld up in her eyes as she starts to cry and sob, the other kids just being annoyed by this, even saying so as they mocked her. The teacher didn't even bother to help, either not noticing the small girl or not caring. Her wails soon stop, tears still in her eyes. She knew it was pointless to even try. Standing up and wiping her face, she took her seat away from everyone else.

Some years later, the little girl was starting to grow into a young woman, her body developing as she grew. This was her first weird of junior high, feeling like a new start for her, to try again. Her shoes clicked against the hard floor of the school as she made her way to her homeroom. On her way, she spotted a small ground of her classmates talking up ahead. Her breath hitched in her chest as she stared from afar. She wanted to move, to try and talk to them, but her legs wouldn't move, like they were frozen. Her entire body was frozen, a sense of dread in her body, as if it could sense that, if she went over there, some sort of bad fortune or calamity would befall her. Fear keeping her rooted to the ground. Her breath came out faster and ragged, feeling like she was on the verge of a panic attack.

Just before it felt like she was going to have a breakdown, the bell rang, the group dispersing to head to class. As they left, a boy looked over to see the girl standing there, small tears in her eyes. He said nothing as he turned back to leave. The girl calms herself, can't help but mentally berate herself for feeling like that. Feeling like a failure. Wiping her face clean, she simply marches onward.

-----

The girl opens her eyes, her alarm ringing out in the empty room, echoing. The girl slept in her uniform, so all she needed to do was put her bra back on, and she was ready. Turning off her alarm, the girl saw that it was 6:30, before anyone else in the house woke up. She sighs as she quietly snuck out of her room and down the stairs and into the kitchen. Her stomach was aching, needing the food she denied herself yesterday. She rummaged through the cupboards, finding some bread. Just enough to get her through the day or at least the morning. She placed the bread into her mouth as she silently left through the front door, heading for her school at around 7.

Her pace was fast, not running, but more so speed walking. She didn't want to be out in broad daylight for too long, just wanting to get to the building, get inside to her class, and leave for her room. It was a routine for her, a cycle that made every day bleed together, no deviation no matter what. She passes through the main gate and down the empty halls to her second year class and to her desk in the fair corner away from everyone else.

She was alone now. Just her with her thoughts and the... Memory of what she did last night. It was like a tick at the back of her neck, growing more and more, weighing her down. No matter how much she scratches, trying to pick it off, tearing at her own skin, it refuses to leave. Its legs digging into her. She tried to justify it, trying to lighten the feeling, telling herself that it was just a mistake and no one would ever see. She used a throw-away account with no way to trace it back to her. She didn't need to feel like this.

Her thoughts were broken when people started to flood in, chatting amongst each other. Even though she was the only thing already there, they didn't acknowledge her existence, like she wasn't there in the first place. She breathes in and out, sinking back into her chair as the school day starts.

-----

As much as she tried to convince herself she didn't need it, her body couldn't handle the pain in her stomach as it cried for food, more than just a piece of bread. Sitting down at a lone lunch table, away from the cliques formed around her school, she started to eat the meager rations she gave herself. The cafeteria food was bland, very clearly cheaply bought and prepared, but it was the best she got if she wanted to - "E-excuse me! Is it okay if I sit here?". A voice asked out nowhere, scaring the girl out of ger stupor.

She looked over to see a boy her age with green hair and freckles. He was very timid looking, holding a bento box. The girl didn't know who he was. He wasn't from her class. She... Didn't know what to do. Her body acted on its own as it moved over to let him sit. "T-thank you so much. I s-saw you were alone, and I thought you might like some company.". The boy said as he rubbed the back of his head. "I-i'm Midoriya. What's your name?". "... Yanagi.". She finally spoke, giving her name to him. The sound of her own voice spooked her.

"It's n-nice to meet you, Yanagi.". Izuku greeted the girl. Reiko tried to avoid eye contact, keeping her eyes to her tray and only stealing small peeks at the boy sitting next to her. A bolt of discomfort shot through her body, a growing sense of dread creeping under her skin. This was very new to her. Izuku noticed that she was tense. "You okay, Yanagi? You seem... Uncomfortable.". Reiko looked up at him, surprised by his concern. "N-no, no, it is quite alright, Midoriya. I am just... Not used to people wanting to be in my presence.". Her eyes darted away from him.

Izuku looked at her empathically, understanding her pain to a degree. He didn't know how far it may have gone, but that doesn't mean he was going to let her wallow in it. He looked down at her lunchtray, the small rations she gave herself, and taking note of her skinny appearance. "Hey, I know the food isn't great here, but I think you should try to eat a little more, heh.". His attempt to lighten the mood did get a small puff of air out of her. "I will be alright. I did not even wish to eat in the first place.". Reiko said, the fear and stress slowly starting to fade from her system.

Izuku was not having any of it, sliding his bento towards her. "Here, we can share. My mom tends to go a little overboard with my lunch so you and I can split it.". He opened the top, and the smell of the home cooked food traveled in the air and into her nostrils. "... This is... Alot...". Reiko spoke, holding the chopsticks in her hand. "Well, that's kinda why I said he could split it, hehe.". Izuku jokes, a sense of confidence in his voice now.

"That is... That is not what I mean... Midoriya, we have just met, but you would give me your food rations... No one has ever been this kind to me before... Why?". She asked the boy in her confusion, a small crack in voice. "Because you looked lonely.". Izuku answered her with a simple response, a warm smile on his face to put her at ease, just like his hero. Reiko took a few seconds to think to herself, to come to terms with everything that happened in the last few minutes. The sense of shame and fear fading away as something new filled. "... T-thank you.". Small tears well up in the corners of her eyes.

-----

The two spent the entirety of lunch together, while she didn't speak much, Reiko enjoyed the company of Izuku, even walking back to her classroom together. It was something to get used to, but she thinks she could manage it. After school, the walk back was much more different. Her steps seemed livelier compared to her usual, almost dead like silent walk. Making to her front door, she turned the knob and walked inside, caught off guard when a woman stumbled into the main hallway with a kitchen knife, calming down when she saw that it was her daughter. This was Sadako Yanagi, Reiko's mom.

"Reiko dear, you are home.". Sadako put away the knife, knowing she probably shouldn't be pointing it at her child. She was scared when she heard the door open, with her husband away at work and no one else she knew would be coming, she assumed that someone had broken in. "Oh, yes, I am.". Reiko said as she walked into the living room, setting down her bag on the floor and sitting on the couch. Sadako was on edge a little, her daughter being out of character from her usual quiet and reserved self.

"Are you alright, dear? Do you have a fever?". The mother placed the back of her hand against her daughter's forehead to check her temperature. Cold. So she wasn't sick. "Yes, I am fine, mother... It is just that I... Made a friend.". Reiko turned her eyes away, a small bit of embarrassment on her face. She didn't see as her mothers face lit up. She knew her daughter always had trouble with other people, even them, secluding herself in her and only coming out when she needed to. So, to hear this coming from her, well... It made her overjoyed.

The older woman grabbed her daughter and put her in a massive hug, tears of happiness flowing from her eyes, getting Reiko's hair wet. The girl was surprised by the sudden act of physical affection... But she welcomed it, not really caring about the wet sensation at the top of her head. She leans into the warm embrace, something she's always missed.

Notes:

It was always irk me how little IzuReiko is used in fics. Reiko has shown canon interest in the greenette, and with how the shipping community is, that should have sparked some kind of fire. I think I'm mainly upset since Reiko is my favorite of the B girls.

Chapter 4: Writing Collection no.1

Summary:

Just something small to tide you all over while I work on the bigger stories. Also thinking of doing a Yandere Reiko story. Would that be something that interests you?

Chapter 5: Idol Misbehavior

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The sounds of cheers from the massive crowd of fans were cut short when the door to the dressing room backstage was closed. Kinoko Komori, better known as Shemage: The Idol Hero, rests her back against the door and slides down, sighing. A few years after UA, Kinoko decided she wanted to pursue another dream of hers, being an idol. It wasn't uncommon for heroes to take up another job, usual acting or modeling, and being an idol wasn't much different. But boy, was it exhausting.

For the last month, she's been on tour to different places on Earth, like her home country of Japan, Korea, Bangkok, America, and France. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact she couldn't even sight see. She got a total of 40 hours of sleep this entire time and was on a diet of energy drinks and sugar. Not to mention, fan meet n greets. So, needless to say, she was happy to be back home and done with her tour. All she wanted was to get some food and home head to sleep for three weeks straight.

-----

Making her way through the crowd and onto the city streets, Kinoko was disguised in a large coat, bangs covering her unique eyes. She slips past crowds of fans exiting the concert hall, undetected as she entered a small café. Sitting down at a small table, Kinoko relaxed as she waited for her order. "Komori?" And she immediately tensed up, feeling the sense of failure running up her small body. She sighs as she gets ready to sign something or take a picture. "Yes, it is, the shroom-tastic Shema- Midoriya?" She was taken back when she saw a familiar face.

"Hey, Komori, how have you been?" Izuku smiled, seeing someone again after a long time. "We'll I've been good. Just got back from the tour shroom. You can sit down with me if you want." Kinoko offered, feeling like she was actually going to enjoy the company of him. He took her up on her offer, sitting across from her with his drink. "Yeah, I heard. How was it?" Izuku asked. "Ugh... Awful... I will tell you, I'm 24 but I feel over 50... I really hope I don't have to do that again for a looooooong time shroom." Kinoko slouched back in the cafe chair, tired.

"I get what you mean. I'm teaching at UA now, and the new generation of heroes is something us... It hadn't even been 10 years since we went to UA, but I get Aizawa and All Mights pain." Izuku related to her struggle in the endless pain of aging. But Kinoko was more interested in the first part of what he said. "You teach at UA now? Cool shroom!" Kinoko said excitedly, bouncing in her seat. Izuku just chuckled. "Yeah. After I lost my Quirk, I still wanted to try and help, so I thought that teaching could be the way to go. It has its struggles and pitfalls, but I don't regret my decision." He smiled again, making Kinoko smile in turn. While they may not have interacted much back in school, that didn't mean they couldn't start now.

"But that's enough about me, what about you? Aside from being an idol, of course." Izuku asked the girl, sipping his drink. "Been okay, I guess. Being an idol has mostly taken up a good chunk of my career. It has its moments, but... Sometimes, I think I should have just stuck with being a hero..." Kinoko said, her voice was somber as she played with the plastic straws you get when you sit down at the table. "B-but it's not all bad! I mean, I have a lot of fans who love me, and I am making a lot of money shroom!" She perked up. "So how's Uraraka?"

Izuku tilts his head in confusion. "What? Aren't you two dating shrooms?" Kinoko asked. "Oh, uhh... N-no... I was planning to ask her out, but I have my teaching job, and she's busy with her work and I... Haven't been able to..." Izuku explained, a small blush on his face. "Oh. I'm gonna be honest, I thought you two were dating back in school. You two were always close, hip to hip, like conjoined twins, hehehe." Kinoko chuckles, snorting a little. Izuku just found that adorable. "What about you? Are you seeing anyone? I'd imagine Miss Local celebrity has been with some people."

"Well, I did date one guy, Kuroiro. We both had a crush on each other back in school and started going out after graduation shroom." Kinoko said, the batista coming over to give hand her her hot chocolate. "Oh yeah, I remember him. Back in the second year, we did a boys' night with our classes, and he would only be talking about you. What happened? You two would have been cute together." Izuku asked, hoping he wasn't crossing some kind of boundary by asking. "Well, we gave it a few years, but sometimes things just don't work out like you'd wish they did shroom. We're still friends, though." Kinoko explained, taking a sip of her drink.

Izuku nods understandingly. He opened his mouth to speak more when a group of fans spotted and recognized her, forming a small group around her. Kinoko immediately becomes uncomfortable but gives them a phony smile as they hound her for pictures and autographs. "H-hey, it's me, Shemage... L-look, it's nice to meet you all, but I'm just trying to - H-HEY! D-don't touch me!" Kinoko scoots away from them and closer to the window, more uncomfortable now than ever as they kept at it.

They were getting closer to her when they were pushed away. "You're making the lady uncomfortable. Leave." Izuku stood between Kinoko and the group of rabid fans, defending her. The group yelled at him in the face, calling him all sorts of things, one even spat in his face. But he wouldn't back down, leading to them leaving while still bad mouthing him. Kinoko handed him a napkin to clean the saliva off his face. "T-thanks, Midoriya shroom!" Kinoko smiles warmly, thanking him.

"It wasn't a problem. People should know better than to do stuff like that to you or others just because you're famous." Izuku said, giving her a smile to help put her at ease again. Kinoko smiles even more, a warmth in her chest. She hugs him, nuzzling the side of her face into his chest. Izuku blushes a bright red due to a girl touching him, a cute one at that, too. But he hugged her back.

-----

After about 10 minutes, the two of the left. Izuku walked her all the way back home, acting like a body guard for her, so she didn't have any more fans trying to get close to her. They parted ways as they made it to her apartment. The second Kinoko made it to her bedroom, she collapsed onto the mattress and immediately passed out.

She slept for 17 hours straight. After pulling herself away from the comfort of her mattress and making breakfast of actual food, Kinoko sat down and opened her phone to scroll through TigTog and her socials. After about a minute, she came across the hot topic of the month, finding out through an article.

"Idol Hero Shemage caught on camera with boyfriend?!"

She almost choked on her food. Reading through it, she found out that people had taken photos of the two while they were at the cafe and on the walk home. Scrolling through her Twitter, she was bombarded with messages about this rumor. Most were asking if they were true. Some were making memes about it, big shocker. And then there was... That crowd. Scrolling further, Kinoko saw a lot of awful comments made about this entire situation. Many people were calling her a bitch for betraying them, saying she backstabbed them. Many more threatening to harm her, her family, her, and Izuku. She even got some comments saying that she should kill herself. Kinoko just turned her phone off, not wanting to see any more

-----

Izuku was embarrassed, having also just found out himself. Seeing the multiple tweets about them being together, not to mention his students asking if it was true or not. He tried to quell these rumors amongst his class, but it was no use. He was scrolling more and more through for Twitter, seeing it more and more, with it being everywhere... And he was also seeing those people's reactions to it. He was starting to get angry, seeing how these people were treating Kinoko like she was an object they owned and not like a person. He was arguing with these people, shaming them for their parasitic behavior... Not like it did much, just making them spit their poison at him. Izuku knew he was just wasting his time with them, turning his phone off. He hoped Kinoko was doing okay.

-----

A week after the rumors started, merch and ticket sales have taken a noticeable nosedive. Kinoko's PR team was stressing over this, trying their best to mend this situation with fans. Currently, Kinoko was in her manager's office. "Komori, this is a disaster." Her manager said as he flipped through papers on his desk. Kinoko was sitting down across the desk, mindlessly creating mushrooms on her arm. "Komori. We talked about the mushrooms."

"S-sorry." Kinoko sheepishly said, putting her arms to her said. Her manager sighed. "Ever since you've been seen with your boyfriend, sales -" "Midoriya isn't my boyfriend." Kinoko corrected, small blush creeping up her face. "It doesn't matter if he is or isn't. Your fans don't like it either way. Being an idol isn't just about singing up on stage and wearing dresses." Her manager stared her down. "Being an idol is about creating an image you sell to your fans. You break that image, and everything else goes with it."

"S-so what do you want me to do?" Kinoko asked, rubbing her arm sheepishly. Her manager adjusted his glasses before running his hand through his hair, looking back down at the papers. "Luckily for us, there is a simple solution. All you need to do is make on your socials that you and this Midoriya broke up. Once news breaks of that, sales and such should stabilize." Kinoko was... Disgusted. To her, it sounded like she wasn't allowed to have her own life, like she was being scolded for doing something bad like she was a child or a pet. Even if Midoriya was her boyfriend, the idea of dumping him just so some creeps she didn't know or like would feel better, so the company would make some money it... It made her feel sick.

"... No." Her manager looked up from his desk. "Excuse me?" He narrowed his eyes as Kinoko looked back at him, her X shaped pupils in full view. "I said no." A sense of authority in her voice as she tried her best to stare him down. Groaning, the manager pinches the bridge of his nose. "Komori. You do not have a choice in this. Make the post." He didn't back down. "I'm not going to. I'm done with all of this! I wanted to be an idol because I wanted to have fun! I wanted to sing! But all I get is weeks of sleepless nights, sweaty creeps leering at me, and some man controlling the way I live my life. So I'm done! Right shrooming now!" She ended her tirade, getting off her chair and marching towards the door. "Find someone else to exploit!" She slams the door shut, leaving her former manager to pick the pieces of the now shattered brand.

-----

After the news broke out about Shemage quitting, her fan base was divided. The normal fans were saddened but respected her decision. While the less normal group was in shambles. Kinoko would regularly get begging and pleading her to come back. All she did was block the users, less of a hassle and headache to the poor brunette. Kinoko herself couldn't be happier, though. After quitting, she managed to get back to a normal schedule for a regular woman her age. She was getting sleep, eating food, and even started dating Izuku. It felt nice to be with someone who cared about her for her... But there was still a problem...

Kinoko and Izuku were walking down the street after date night, Kinoko holding onto his hand. "Thanks for getting the bill again. I'm kinda running low on my Shemage money shroom." She chuckled, with Izuku smiling back. "It's alright, Kinoko, I'm also happy to pay, but we should probably do something about your money situation. You can't survive with just the remainder of your idol money. You still have a license. Maybe you can join an agency, I know that Uraraka is hiring at hers."

Kinoko thought for a moment. After becoming an idol, she never did get to go out to he an actual hero again. This could be her chance. While Kinoko was thinking about taking up the offer, she heard another set of footsteps behind them. Looking back, she saw someone in a large coat, their face hidden by a hood and surgical mask. She always noticed that they had a hand in their pocket. She wasn't sure what exactly they had in their but she could see the outline of something they were hiding.

She silently alerted Izuku, both of them turning onto a more busy street, hoping to lose the stalker. They would be stupid if they attacked here in the open, the couple getting lost in the crowd. "Do you see them?" Izuku asked, keeping his voice down. Kinoko clung to his arm for safety as she looked around. It was hard to see due to the multitude of people, but she couldn't spot whoever was stalking them. She felt at ease, thinking they may have lost them. She didn't know who they were... But she's heard stories from her fellow idols about stalkers, so she thought she might be experiencing one right now.

From the corner of his eye, Izuku saw the glint of a small metal object. Acting out of instinct, pushing Kinoko out of the way as the stalker went to go stab her with a box cutter. Izuku punches them in the face, making them fall back and their hood to drop. They got a look at the guy's face. He was a sweaty, out of shape man, a crazied look in his eyes as he got the box cutter and scurried to their feet. Izuku got into a battle ready stance, activiting OFA out of muscle memory even though he no longer had it. The man rushes him, ready to cut him when he starts to cough violently, choking on something.

Izuku looked over to see Kinoko, mushrooms growing by her feet, and one of her Shroom-Shooters in hand. She usually hated having to do this attack, having her spores go into a persons body, but she was not going to tolerate this creep attacking her or her boyfriend. The guy fell to the ground, trying to breathe as Kinoko rushed up, kicking him square in the face. That, combined with the lack of air flow, made the stalker pass out, Kinoko standing over him. The crowd around them recorded the entire encounter, some going to see if the two were okay.

-----

The paramedics carted away the unconscious body as Izuku sat down with his girlfriend on the sidewalk. "You were awesome out there." Izuku said, giving her kudos for her taking down the stalker. Kinoko rubbed the back of her head, smiling as she remembered the feeling of being a hero again. Jumping into action, taking down the villain, saving people, and the ones she loved. She smiles. "... Hey." Izuku perks up. "You said Uraraka was hiring, right?"

Notes:

I am gonna be completely honest with all of you. I despise Kinoko x Kuroiro. I absolutely hate it. So this was a breath of fresh air, though I will say I did feel like I rushed around the end.

Chapter 6: "Did you steal his clothes?"

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Itsuka scoffs at the question, finding it ridiculous. "I don't steal from Izuku. I have my own stuff. Why would I need his?" She slowly starts to zip up her jacket, trying to hide the fact she was currently wearing one of his shirts.

-----

Setsuna sat back in her chair, arms behind her head. "Oh yeah, I totally do. I even made a spare key to his room." She gives a shit eating grin and a chuckle.

-----
"No, I usually just crawl in with him. We're like a spider shroom!" Kinoko bounces in her seat.

-----

"I have slowly, but surely, been plundering and replacing his possessions over many months, and he has yet to catch on." Reiko stated, taking a sip of her tea.

-----

"I-I would never! Theft is a sin and is not something a hero or a child of the Lord should even consider!" Ibara defended herself, offended by the allegation. She also slowly closes her closet to hide her blatant hypocrisy.

-----

"N-no! I... I was raised to be a good girl by my folks... Heh..." Pony balanced herself on her hooves nervously... And if that wasn't a major clue, she was currently wearing the stolen goods.

-----

"Yes." Yui said bluntly, no shame or hesitation in her voice. "I don't even hide it. I look him dead in the eyes while I take them.

-----

The victim of these petty crimes sighs, moves hair out of his face. "I only have a tank top and pair of shorts left. That's the only thing I've been wearing for six weeks."

Notes:

Sorry for the wait, steam is starting to slow down. That doesn't mean this is abandoned, just that the wait for chapters is gonna be longer.

Notes:

I've always felt like the class B girls get unfairly treated by the fanfic part of the Fandom. Usually just ignored entirely or shoved into crappy Harem stuff, like a "Oh and he also has the B girls to. Moving on" type of deal if that makes sense. So I hope this series helps.
