Riley was fuming when she walked into the little shop on the dimly-lit street. Nathan was hers, he belonged to her. Nathan had been her boyfriend for over a year. She'd given him her attention, the shine of her popularity, and regular and fairly skilled blowjobs. And yet, Nathan had left her.
And for whom? Sam. Sammy. Effeminate little Sammie, who wore slutty little skirts to school and had even joined the cheerleading team. Who was allegedly a boy but wore makeup and flirted with all the guys. Nathan wasn't gay, Riley could not believe it. And if Nathan wanted a girl, why not have a real one? She couldn't understand it.
"What would you have?" asked a croaky voice from behind the counter.
Riley started and looked up. The old woman at the little magic shop was kind of scary, dressed all in black, with a hunched back and crooked nose.
"Um, uh", Riley tried. She cleared her throat and tried again. "Revenge. I want revenge. On my classmate."
The old woman cackled. "Revenge? Such a big word for a young thing like you!"
"I'm sixteen", Riley said proudly. "I can pay. And, uh, I brought something he owns. The person I want revenge on. I heard you need it." She produced a chewed-up pencil she'd snatched from Sammy's desk that afternoon.
"Is that so?" the old woman asked. "And what kind of revenge would you have?"
"Something, uh, something really embarrassing. Some kind of a sex thing. He stole my boyfriend and he thinks he's so hot. I want him to suffer."
Another cackle sent shivers down Riley's spine. "A sex thing, eh? You know, girlie, I think I have just the thing for you. Have you ever heard of", the crone lowered her voice, "the curse of the assaulted asshole?"
