Work Text:

Natsuki managed to drag Yuri into the closet to read her beloved mangas, both girls were snuggled up together, reading the Japanese comic book that Natsuki loved so much to read, honestly it wasn't her vibe, but anything to make her happy, since they decided to stop fighting and be more friendly to eachother, everyday went quite well,it was good to get along with the shorter girl, even though she loved the thrill of it.

The reading continued, even if Yuri wasn't paying much attention, preferring to admire the girl's beauty.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a door being closed and lights being turned off.

Yuri’s eyes snapped open as the lights were shut off,she tried to look around but couldn’t se a thing

“W-What just happened…?"

Yuri mumbled as she looked next to her at her reading partner and friend —and potential lover—

“D-Did you turn the lights off…?”

"No? Why the heck would I do that? And the switch is on the other room, not here."

Natsuki stops and thinks for a moment acknowledging the moment and trying to process everything.

"Maybe Monika didn't noticed we were here and closed everything?"

Yuri sighed as she looked around in the darkness, her eyes struggling to see any detail

"I suppose that may have been the case…"

Yuri mumbled as she shifted over to make herself more comfortable

"Seems like we’re stuck in a small enclosed space together in the pitch black…”

“…Just the two of us~”

Yuri whispered softly to herself, her face starting to go red as she realized just how close she was to Natsuki, the two of them being squished together due to this tiny closet

"Don't get any ideas, idiot" She mumbles, her face heating up,she looks away, well that's no difference, she can't see shit in this darkness.

"Is there no lantern or anything in here? Is so dark"

Yuri chuckled softly, finding it adorable how embarrassed Natsuki was,she didn’t get to see this side of her very often

"If there is one I doubt we’ll be able to see it in this darkness…"

Yuri paused for a moment, her mind thinking of something perverted

"You sure you don’t mind being stuck in here with me all night…?~"

"Oh shut up,Yuri" Natsuki mumbles, her voice slightly tremble and high pitched, her voice tented to get more high when she is flustered or anything in genre.

Yuri smirked as she heard Natsuki’s voice, hearing her get flustered was making Yuri’s heart race and her thoughts to start racing

“Oh but I’m not joking….”

Yuri scooted a bit closer to Natsuki

“We’ll probably spend hours in here…together….alone…”

Yuri leaned in a bit,her face now right next to Natsuki’s

“Just the two of us in an almost completely dark closet...for hours with nobody to stop us…~”

"We have to focus on finding any source of light first! I can't see shit." Natsuki rolls her eyes, trying to look for any hint of lantern or anything in the shelves that carried a bunch of books and other junk.

Yuri sighed and let out a soft chuckle, she found it adorable how flustered Natsuki was,she did agree with her that they should find a light source though, after all you can’t do certain things in the dark. Yuri then searched around the closet for any light source, all she found was some boxes

“I found some boxes…but no light source unfortunately….”

Yuri paused for a moment as she looked at Natsuki, seeing how cute she was as she searched for a lantern,Yuri’s heart raced as she just kept staring,a strange feeling in her chest.

"Found it!" Natsuki held a set of 10 very small electric candles,it wasn't much but at least it helped.

"It isn't much, but it'll do the work." Natsuki turned on the battery candles, now it wasn't so dark, and she could see how Yuri's eyes shined and glowed when she looked at her,Natsuki couldn't help but let out a soft smile at that.

Yuri smiled softly watching Natsuki turn on the battery candles, the warm lighting shining on the two of them, she really could see her now,and she looked even more adorable than she did in the dark.

“Good work finding those…”

Yuri’s heart began to race again, watching the cute look on her face from her smile,Yuri looked around for a moment then remembered they were still in a small closet

Yuri shuffled a bit,her back facing the wall now,she then patted her lap, gesting for Natsuki to sit on it

“N-Nats….”

Yuri said as she looked up at her,Natsuki would hopefully understand what she wanted

Natsuki's face heated up,she huffs and does as the girl said, straddling the girl's lap,she wraps her arms around her and buries her face in the Yuri's shoulder.

Yuri let out a soft gasp as she felt a weight on her lap,she smiled softly as Natsuki’s face hid in her shoulder,Yuri then softly grabbed one of her hands, wrapping her fingers around it softly

“Is this comfortable….?”

Yuri whispered softly, her heart beating in her chest like it was going to explode, she was trying not to get too excited.

Natsuki nods, she was feeling kinda sleepy, and Yuri felt comfortable, she yawns softly, still fighting the feeling of tiredness.

Yuri noticed how tired Natsuki looked, the girl’s eyes looked like they were about to close at any moment and that made Yuri’s heart melt slightly, she used one of her hands to rub the shorter girl’s back softly in circles

“Looks like someone’s tired….”

Yuri chuckled softly,Natsuki did look adorable when she was sleepy.

“You can rest for a bit if you want,I don’t mind staying up a while…”

Yuri whispered softly and softly placed a kiss on Natsuki’s forehead, she let the girl’s head stay buried in her shoulder and continued to rub her back

"Ok..." Natsuki mumbles,as she stops fighting and drifts off to sleep.
