Chapter Text
Right after X was ejected, the Sun shouted that everyone must stay in orbit and do their jobs to stabilize the Solar System. Of course, the Sun doesn’t know what goes beyond the asteroid belt. He can only see Saturn and Uranus, and that’s it. He can’t see anywhere beyond that. After X’s ejection, or, as he believed, he just ran away, the baby rocky planets assumingly left even though Jupiter tried to stop them.
Now, the Five Rocky Planets were still developing, along with the asteroids still wandering around their orbit, causing only minor collisions. Jupiter kept a high watch on them, along with his gravitational pull pulling the remaining asteroids toward him, which was…quite a struggle.
He wasn’t entirely around his standard size yet, and his gravity was still weaker than it used to be. Saturn was responsible for keeping Jupiter in his orbit, after all, and also helping the rocky planets. Uranus didn’t have its rings yet for the Ice Giants, and Neptune hasn’t loosened his sanity either.
They were just chilling, heh, get it? Okay, lemme stop. But really, they only had each other. Of course, they knew the other gas giants, but that’s just it; they played and chatted even though they had to stay in their orbit somehow. Anyway, this is my theory and an imagination of how the early solar system was. Enjoy this as this begins as the next chapter!
