Summary
For so long, Uranus wasn't wanted.
But…but Uranus thought it would finally be different with Planet X. He thought that he would be loved for once–but apparently wanting that was so wrong of him to do. Apparently, wanting to be happy and break free from the constant cycle of misery and frustration, wasn't something Uranus was allowed to have.
He was, however, allowed to be a depressed and miserable pile of space rocks.
So that's exactly what he was doing.
Suffering.

Wow. Feels great to be so easily forgotten about. His existence was merely just a blip in the universe, easily replaceable by someone more likeable or important–like Neptune.
Or…or Planet X–
Nope. Nuh uh. He’s not going down that route. Planet X left and he’s gone now. That’s that. It’s over. He doesn’t get to ruin Uranus’ birthday–he’s not even here for crying out loud!

It gave Titan something to focus on, at least. "Iapetus, come back into his shadow." Titan gently encouraged, already pulling the little moon back with his gravity.
"Says the moon with the liquid ocean." Even though he complained, the smaller moon thankfully did as Titan asked, stepping behind him. "You arent going to evaporate, are you?"
Wha- why was he getting worried about Titan? He was fine! Sure, his oceans felt hotter than usual- but it was good, he was good!
Even his livings on his surface felt livelier than usual. Titan could actually feel them move, a feeling he simply... felt too overwhelmed to describe. When he had felt that first step... or swim, or whatever, he'd been so happy, Titan could have cried.
Only to remember that no one in his system knew yet. Not his planet, nor any of the moons, because Titan hadn't told them yet. He hadn't earned to tell them yet.
Or
Due to the materials on his surface... if Titan were put in the Goldilocks zone, he would develop a greenhouse effect as strong as Venus.
An effect that when everyone shares their orbits, his livings do not react well to. At all.

That wasn't S/2023 U1. His darling Violenta wasn't that small anymore.
Titania, clearly clueless on how to calm... her sibling turned to Uranus, looking hopeless for just a moment- only a moment before she remembered she was angry, expression turning to stone once more. His heart shattered as she turned around, and left, heading to the other side behind Sun-
Taking his number twenty-nine with her.
Or
After returning to the solar system and not being allowed to cross the asteroid belt, it seems Uranus will need to find a new way to apologize to his moons... again.
Or
August 19 2025, a new Uranian moon called S/2025 U1 was discovered.
Meaning that while Uranus ran away from the solar system, his moon count went up to 29.

He didn't fit in anywhere, not with the moons, not with the dwarf planets, not with Neptune and he didn't know why. "I brought all of your real moons back home to you, I deserve at least that."

"How did I get here? What happened?!"
"..."
"I..." Neptune's voice was small, smaller than Triton had ever heard it being. It caught him off guard, just for a moment, almost making him hopeful about receiving the answers he had been craving for. "I-I..."
His eyes glazed over, as usual- and yet, Neptune looked more coherent than he had ever done before.
"I... couldn't say." The planet ended up saying, oddly disconnected... and clearly lying again. "I... I must have forgotten."
Or
Triton doesn't fit in anywhere.
The only one with the answers won't tell him why.
