Chapter 1: The Merge

The camera pans down to Arin posing on top of a gate, while his parents cheer him on.
"It seems strange now, but remember when Ninjago was the only thing on the map? When it was our entire world? I used to spend all my time trying to be like my heroes, the Ninja. Out of all the heroes of the Justice League, it was the Ninja who I loved the most. Practicing their moves, learning their poses. I wanted to be just like them. To protect everyone in Ninjago. To ride dragons into adventure and mythical realms and parallel universes. Mysterious lands that could only exist in legend." Arin narrating.
The sky splits apart behind him as rifts between realms and Earths are seen.
"But I quickly found out those legendary realms are very real. And I was about to lose everyone that was important to me. My neighborhood must have been the very center of the Merge. But back then, we didn't know what to call it. It was just chaos."
As the rifts in the skies open, many people were floating away in the zero gravity chaos.
"Arin, get inside! It's too dangerous out there!" Arin's mother shouts to him.
Arin struggles to get to his house as the wind makes it hard for him to reach his parents. He screams as he is sucked into the Merge.
"Arin!" Arin's mother shouts.
Arin is then stuck floating in the air along with everything else has been dragged up into the sky. As he floats, Lloyd manages to grab him to the Bounty.
"That's when my heroes, the Ninja, arrived! We were in so much danger, but I couldn't help but be excited." Arin narrating.
"Hey kid! You get lost?" Lloyd asked.
Arin looks shocked as he see the Ninja with their Justice League friends helping them. As a cargo crate was about to hit them, a blue ninja mech sliced it in half, piloted by Jay. Along with him were Eris and Razar who have their own mechs.
"Jay, the Lightning Ninja! Eris, the Eagle Ninja! Razar, the Raven Ninja!"
The three Ninja are seen flying their mechs with Supergirl, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, Cosmobug, Astrocat, and Optimus Prime. They continue to slice their way through every debris and object heading towards the Destiny's Bounty.
"Kai, Fire Ninja! Cragger, Crocodile Ninja! Bladvic, Bear Ninja!"
The three Ninja with Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Dragon, Flash, Batwoman, Mario, and Luigi blasting things away on the Bounty.
"Cole, Earth Ninja! Worriz, Wolf Ninja! Rogon, Rhino Ninja!"
The three Ninja along with Bowser, Rykarr, Aarghaumont help in getting the people out from the crates crushing them. Cole lifts a cargo crate off Rick and Linda Mitchell. Worriz uses his Plasma abilities to get Big the Cat out of a crate. Rogon blasted a boulder at an incoming object. Aarghaumont carries Ralph and Vanellope on his shoulders. Rykarr carries Dipper and Mabel in his hands. The strong muscle heroes then threw the people on the slide of ice that Zane created for them to reach the Bounty.

"Zane, Ice Ninja!"
Then a glob of water and plants catches the people as it shows Nya, Gorzan, and Lou Shark using their powers to make the people landed safety on the Destiny's Bounty.
"Nya, Water Ninja! Gorzan, Gorilla Ninja!"
The Ninja and superheroes continued their work to get as many people on the Destiny's Bounty as possible. Arin stared in awe as he saw Lloyd and Laval with the Green Arrow.
"Lloyd, the legendary Green Ninja! Laval, the Lion Ninja!"
The Destiny's Bounty then anchors to the ground as the Ninja and the Justice League work on getting the people to safety.
"Hold on, kid." Lloyd said to Arin and he picks him up.
He slides down the chain as he sets Arin on the ground.
"Green Ninja, my parents are in that storm! You gotta save them!" Arin said.
"That's what we're here for!" Lloyd said.
Arin smiles as Lloyd waves goodbye as he and his team go back into the action.
"And that's when it happened." Arin narrating.
The rift explodes and his neighborhood disappears. Arin then ended up in a remote area with new cities and places beyond.
"As I saw my small neighborhood disappear and a new city show up on the horizon, I realized I had witnessed the Merge firsthand. The moment all the mysterious realms and some of parallel Earths of the Multiverse I had only heard about merged with Ninjago, for reasons no one's been able to figure out. I survived, but I was alone. My parents and everyone I ever knew had vanished."
"Mom? Dad?" Arin shouts.
He looks up to see Lloyd's hood floating down from the sky, and he reaches up to catch it.
"With my parents and home gone, I had to make a new life for myself. Before, everyone I knew looked like me. Now I walk the streets with skeleton people, buy food from snail people, sell pies to frog people! And since the Ninja and the Justice League disappeared, I realized it's up to me to carry on their legendary tradition." Arin narrated as he puts Lloyd's hood on.
It is revealed that Arin is telling the story to some dogs in a junkyard at night. Along with him was a teenage girl named Sora and a Mok'nathal warrior named Rexxar.
"Arin, not to insult the dreams of my best new friend, but ... you are so not a ninja." Sora said.
"I also agree with Sora. I've actually seen and fought with them in the wars of Azeroth before the Merge. You don't have their skill set yet." Rexxar added.
"How would you know, Sora and Rexxar? You didn't grow up with them like I did. All I need is a master to train me." Arin said.
"Sure! Ah, one problem. There are no ninja masters around anymore." Sora said.
"Same with the entire Justice League and the Avengers. Flash, Green Arrow, White Canary, Spider-Man, Black Wolf, Wolverine, Venom, Thor, Optimus Prime, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman... all of them vanished after the Merge." Rexxar said.
"Hey, uh, have you found what we need yet? I can only distract these dogs from making noise for so long. Uh, I don't have that many stories to tell." Arin said as the dogs look at him.
"Give me a second." Sora said as she picks up an item. "Boom! And we didn't even set off the —"
The alarm sounds. As the alarm goes off with the dogs barking, security bots show up.
"Halt! Halt! Halt!" Security Bots shouts.
"We should be leaving now." Arin said.
"Agreed!" Rexxar said.
"I always like how you think." Sora told Arin.
They flee from the robots.
"Oh, there's got to be an easier way to get mechanical parts!" Arin cried.
"There is! It's called "having money". Which is not exactly our situation." Sora said.
"After tomorrow it might be!" Rexxar said.
"Halt! Halt! Halt!" Security Bots shouts as they shoot at the three as they take cover.
"Alright, then! Ninja, —" Arin began.
"You're not a ninja!" Sora reminded him.
"Wannabe ninja, go!" Arin shouts.
He dodges the blasts as he jumps up and kicks away the robots with Spinjitzu, but didn't stick the landing.
"Rough landing, but you're getting better at that. Let's go! Can you make a distraction?" Sora said.
"I don't think these bots want to hear my story about the Merge!" Arin said.
"Then do something else!" Rexxar tells him.
Arin swings around with his grappling hook to distract the robots.
"Up here! You! Garbage can!" Arin teased.
As he does, Sora goes to hack them. They then jump back as Sora's hacking began to work.

"Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance!" Security Bots chant as they dance.
"I will never get over how quickly you can hack stuff like that." Arin said.
"What can I say? I'm just naturally good at tech stuff. It's been like that since I was a kid." Sora said.
"It's a gift, kid." Rexxar said.
"We might not have money, but I'm sure the owners of this place would love one of my delicious homemade pies, right? As payment for the gear we're borrowing." Arin said as he placed a pie out.
"Who doesn't love pie?" Sora said.
They leave a pie behind and exit the junkyard as Security Bots continue to dance.
"Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance!" Security Bots chant.
Arin, Sora, and Rexxar make their way through the Crossroads. As they do, they pass many people. Like Whack Rats, Serpentine, Trolls, Merlopians, Orcs, Manotaurs, Dinotrux, and Cybertronians.
"Hey, Mrs. R." Sora said to her who was with an Arcadia Troll.
"How's the wasp milk today?" Arin asked her.
"Hey George." Rexxar said to the Hippy Dozeratops who was with a Manotaur.
"Oop, watch your step, Newt." Sora said as a Decepticon passed by.
"Wow." Arin said in awe seeing the Crossroads.
They continued to walk through the Crossroads as they saw so many people from all Realms and some of the Parallel Earths. A car nearly hits them, but Arin uses his grappling hook to get them out of the way.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Sora shouts.
"Jerk!" Rexxar shouts.
"I still can't get over how amazing the Kingdom of Imperium looks. It's perfect, isn't it?" Arin said.
"Don't believe everything you hear about Imperium. I'm from there, remember? Their idea of "perfect" isn't mine. The Merge slamming it up against Ninjago gave me the perfect chance to get out." Sora said.
"And the perfect chance to meet me and Rexxar! I'd still like to go there someday. Or go anywhere. I've never been out of my old neighborhood. The Crossroads just grew up around the area where my house used to be." Arin said.
"You want to experience other places? Look around! Why go anywhere when the best of all the realms and Earths of the Multiverse moved here to the Crossroads? For example, me and Rexxar." Sora said as they looked at the view.
"I'm glad you came here, Sora and Rexxar. You're my BFFs, my fam. But some of us are only here because we had nowhere else to go." Arin said.
"I understand, but you have to admit. Having our own penthouse is pretty cool." Sora said.
"It may not be the Wild Forests of Azeroth but it's fine." Rexxar said.
They look towards the top of a building.
"Race you to the top!" She said as she starts climbing a ladder.
Arin smirked as he uses his grappling hook to overtake Sora and Rexxar.
"Last one there's a rotten egg!" Arin shouts.
"Hey, that's cheating!" Sora shouts as Rexxar laughs.
"See ya! Wouldn't want to be ya!" Arin shouts.
"Careful, Arin! You're going too—" Sora shouts as it was too late when he crashed.
"Dang it!" Arin cried.
"Fast." Rexxar finished.
They enter their penthouse. Arin then takes out a freshly baked pie out of an oven. Rexxar sharpens his axes with his Gundark named Grug who has become Rexxar's new loyal companion after losing his other companions due to the Merge.
"Yes! The SA Mark 01 is gonna crush in the Mech Master 5000!" Sora said as she finished her project.
"Tomorrow's race is the biggest prize pot of all time. If we win ..." Arin says.
"When we win." Sora corrected.
"Right, right, when we win, we could find ourselves a real place to live. I could build my own monastery and invite everyone else who lost their parents to live with us. To carry on the tradition of the ninja!" Arin said.
"And I could design a real garage and lab. And we wouldn't have to pay for parts with your pies anymore." Sora said.
"Happy you two will have something to look forward to when getting that money. For me, I probably find a more comfortable place in nature to live." Rexxar said.
Suddenly, the ground quakes violently. Building and the area shakes as it slowly stopped.
"Another earthquake? It seems like they're happening more often." Sora sighs.
"That's the third one this week." Rexxar said.
"They never happened at all before the Merge. Hey, do you ever wonder if there's a greater purpose for all this? Like, a reason for the Merge?" Sora wondered.
"The Merge might have taken away everything you had, Arin. But it's given me everything I have. Change can be scary, but it's also a chance for something better." Sora said.
She gazes at the Kingdom of Imperium in the distance. At Imperium, Rapton speaks to Ras.
"The capture was successful?" Ras asked.
"Of course! Transfer will begin first thing in the morning." Rapton said.
"Your overconfidence is a weakness, Rapton. These creatures are dangerous." Ras said.
"Trust me, this thing isn't going anywhere. Don't worry, Lord Ras!" Rapton said.
"Do not disappoint me." Ras said as he turns off the communication link.
"Lord Ras doesn't sound like he's got a lot of faith in us." Claw Hunter said.
"He'' too uptight. We're the best there is at rounding up these animals." Rapton said.
"Ugh, "your overconfidence is a weakness." Rapton imitating Ras. "Lemme tell ya, I've never even heard the word weakness."
"Really? It's a pretty common word." Claw Hunter said.
"No, I... I — I mean, I just don't know what that word means." Rapton said.
"Seriously? I can explain. Weakness: noun, the quality of — argh!" Claw Hunter began to tell as he is kicked away by Rapton.
"Go away." Rapton said. He leaps down and peers into a cell.
"This guy in here, he ain't going nowhere, ain't ya?" He laughs evilly.
At the Crossroads, mechs line up for the Mech Master 5000.
"Last call to register for the Mech Master 5000! The greatest race —" Alfonzo announced.
"In the history of the Crossroads! And we're here to win it." Sora finished.
"Sora! Arin! Rexxar! Always happy to peep you wild scamps. Up top!" Alfonzo said as he hi-fives Sora's hand with his tongue.
"Good to see you too, Mr. Frohicky." Sora said.
"Wait, that's your mech? Oh ho, no offense, Sora, but, uh, not one of your more impressive builds, is it, hmm?" Alfonzo said.
"It's easily underestimated. Just like us." Sora said.
"Sure, but I've got top mechs from around the merged realms here. Like an Underworld Mech." Alfonzo said.
"Freaky leapy." Bone Guard said.
"There's even a ... uh, uh ... that thing." Alfonzo said as he pointed.
"Lobbo Lobbo." Lobbo said as he enters his mech.
"Oh, that's Lobbo! He's a good guy. But, uh, never ask him about his mom. It's a ... it's a very touchy subject." Arin said.
"Plus, all the regulars. It could get pretty vicious. Maybe you should sit today's race out?" Alfonzo suggested but the trio refused.
"Fine. Then ante up!" Alfonzo said holding his hand out for the money.
He sniffs the air and sees Arin holding out a pie.
"I know you're not trying to pay your registration fees with baked goods again." Alfonzo said not falling for it again.
"So you don't want a fresh pie, filled with roasted snowberries from the Never-Realm? Fine, I guess we'll just have to toss it. Maybe the dogs are hungry. Or maybe the raccoons?" Arin said.
"Well, it'd be a shame to just throw it out." Alfonzo said. "Fine! Line up!"
He gives in and takes the pie with his tongue as he burps out the pie tray.
Arin, Sora, and Rexxar push their mech into place.
"Ha! They'll let anyone into these races, won't they?" Kreel mocked.
"At least we build our own gear, Kreel. We don't need a team of servants doing the work for us." Sora shot back.
"They aren't servants! They're friend-ish people who work for me. They're here to cheer when I crush you! Like last time. And the time before, and, checks notes ..." Kreel gasps dramatically. "Every single time. You kids don't learn."
"Oh, we learn. But we just don't give up." Arin said.
"Every time we get stronger." Rexxar said.
"And I might've designed a bit of an upgrade since the last race." Sora said.
She operates the mech, which rises to full height.
"C'mon, Arin and Rexxar. Let's get our fuel couplings attached while Kreel contemplates her impending loss." Sora said.
"I'm not worried." Kreel laughs as she then whispers to a Whack Rat. "But just in case, loosen their cooling cable while they're gone. When they hit their turboboost, their engine will overheat and explode."
At Imperium, one of the container bounces around.
"Hey! Settle down in there!" Rapton shouts as it stopped bouncing.
"Nice try, you animal. You can't —" He laughs.
The container bursts open. A baby dragon escapes as it tries to fly away, only to splat on the ground as it runs off.
"After that thing!" Rapton shouts.
The Mech Master 5000 begins and mechs race through a track.
"Are we winning? I can't see. Tell me we're winning!" Arin shouts.
"Not yet. Get the bumper arms up." Sora shouts.
Competing mechs slam into each other, knocking out competition.
"Lobbo on the move. Lobbo Lobbo." Lobbo said.
"We're coming for you, you fancy-hatted egomaniac!" Sora shouts.
"Prepare to get pounded!" Rexxar shouts.
They encounter a fallen mech.
"Hold on!" Sora shouts.
She makes her mech leap over the debris.
"Phew!" Arin sighed in relief.
"That was close!" Rexxar said.
"Lobbo avoids hazards. Lobbo Lobbo." Lobbo said.
"Hit the turboboost!" Arin shouts.
"No! We can only use it once. Saving it for when we really need it." Sora said.
The SA Mark 01 and Kreel's mech approach the finish line.
"Those punks? Oh no they don't!" Kreel said.
"We're in the straightaway. This has got to be the time to use the turboboost, right? Right?" Ras said.
"Yep! Get ready to roll around in prize money, tossing it in the air, and going "Whee hee!" Sora shouts.
"Aw yeah!" Rexxar shouts.
Suddenly, a metal board flies up from the ground and hits Kreel's mech. Sora screeches to a halt before the dust and gasps when she sees a baby dragon. The baby dragon then runs away from Rapton and the hunters.
"Sora, go! We're so close!" Arin said.
"We gotta go after that dragon." Sora said.
"Dragon? What dragon?" Rexxar said.
"What? We need to win this race!" Arin said.
"Those dragon hunters are the Claws of Imperium. If they catch that dragon ... the things they'll do to him. Trust me, we have to stop them." Sora explained. "Arin, what would the ninja do?"
"Let's save that dragon!" Arin said as he pulls Lloyd hood over his head.
They blast off in the mech.
"Ugh, get up! Get up!" Kreel growled at her mech.
"Lobbo Lobbo." Lobbo said as he glides past Kreel easily and reaches the finish line. "Lobbo wins! Lobbo a success! See, Lobbo's mother? Can a "malfunctioning tin can" do that? Lobbo Lobbo."
A small distance away, the Claw Hunters hit the baby dragon with a blast.
"No need to tell Ras about this minor slip up, understood?" Rapton said.
Arin and Sora arrive.
"Hop on, buddy!" Arin shouts to the dragon as it hops on.
"What? Who are these kids now? Get them!" Rapton shouts as the Claw Hunters shoot at them.
"Uh, looks like we're in another race." Arin said.
"Then good thing we've still got that turboboost ready to go." Sora said.
She presses a button, but the mech goes out of control and falls from a bridge. The baby dragon bumps into her and powers her up. She reassembles the mech with her new powers.
"Uh, did one of us make that thing explode? I mean, heh, I'm sure it was us, right?" Rapton asked.
"Uh ..." Claw Hunter said.
"Dragons are resilient. Our target will survive. Those kids, not so much. Let's get down there and drag the lizard off the pavement." Rapton said.
Arin, Sora, and Rexxar fly past them in their mech.
"That's different than it was before, right?" Claw Hunter said.
"How did you do all this?" Arin asked.
"I honestly do not know. But now's not the time for questions. It's the time for ..."
They fly upwards as they fight.
"Woo hoo! Now it's my turn." Arin said as he leaps off the mech.
"Self-trained wannabe ninja without a master, go!" He shouts as he does Spinjitzu and is hit by a blaster and barely makes his landing. "Eh, close enough."
Just then, Ras arrives with a shockwave that sends everyone flying.
"Lord Ras! We were just about to —" Rapton says before Ras grabbed him.
"You failed me. I do not like that." Ras growls He drops Rapton.
"Uh, do you know who this guy is?" Arin asked.
"No clue." Sora said.
"He doesn't seem very nice." Rexxar said.
Arin attempts to attack with Spinjitzu, but Ras catches his leg.
"What? How'd you —" Arin said shocked.
Ras then slammed Arin onto the ground.
"Arin!" Sora and Rexxar shout.
Ras destroys the mech, knocking out Sora and Rexxar, then shoots the baby dragon, knocking it unconscious.
"You are just the first. Now, I'm going to hunt down your entire family, wherever they are." Ras said.
He notices a crack of rifts in the sky above.
"Put the prisoners on the train. Quickly! I trust you won't have any more problems." Ras said.
"Yes, Lord Ras. I mean, no, Lord Ras." Rapton stuttered.
On the train, Arin, Sora, and Rexxar sit together, both handcuffed.
"I hate being caged like an animal." Rexxar growled.
"What do you think they'll do to us?" Arin asked.
"Whatever it is, they'll do worse to that dragon." Sora said.
"Really?" Arin said.
"The Claws of the Imperium come from Imperium, same as me. And Imperium runs entirely on dragon power. With all these merged realms, I'm sure they're hunting dragons everywhere now." Sora said.
"That's just wrong. Hunting Dragons just to use them like fuel." Rexxar said.
"But they say dragon power is safe." Arin said.
"Safe for who? You saw the look in that dragon's eyes. It wanted to be free. Just like I did." Sora said.
"I know that feeling. Just like how I was, when the Horde was consumed by bloodlust. I wanted to be free from the corruption." Rexxar said.
"So, uh, I've known you for a while now, and you've always been pretty good with tech, but ..." Arin said to her.
"I have no idea." Sora said.
"You turned pieces of the SA Mark 01 into a flying mech, in midair!" Arin said impressed and shocked.
"Yeah. That was weird, right?" Sora said.
"Beyond weird if you ask me." Rexxar said.
"Well, that's one word for it. Other words would be amazing, impossible, defying all logic or reason!" Arin said.
"It was that dragon. I could feel it awaken something in me. Some kind of power." Sora explained.
"Like the Elemental Powers the ninja had! Powers I've dreamed of having. Water, Fire, Ice..." Arin said.
"Not everything is tied to your lost heroes, you know." Sora said.
"If I lose hope that the ninja could come back, then I lose hope my parents could come back. Hope is the only thing the Merge didn't take from me." Arin said.
"Heh. Now you sound like Supergirl and her cousin Superman. They were always the beacon of hope. Their chest stood for Hope. Always saying that hope is the light that lifts us out of darkness." Rexxar said.
"Well, hope won't be enough anymore. We can't build you a new ninja monastery from an Imperium Prison." Sora said.
"Ain't that the truth." Rexxar said.
"It's called the Monastery of Spinjitzu. But you're right. The dream's over, isn't it?" Arin said.
They hear shouting through the roof of the train.
"Hey! What —" Claw Hunter #1 shouts.
"Wait, aren't you ... no way!" Claw Hunter #2 shouts.
The metal grate on the ceiling is torn away. Lloyd with Green Arrow and Laval emerges.
"The Green Ninja!" Arin whispers in awe.
"I think that mask belongs to me." Lloyd said.
Chapter 2: Merge and Dragons
Summary:
Lloyd along with his friends find Arin, Sora, Rexxar, and Riyu and plan to escape.

On the train, Arin and Sora look up to see Lloyd, Laval, and Oliver Queen.
"Lloyd, the Green Ninja! Yes! I knew you were all still out there!" Arin shouts in a whisper.
"Where's the ninja I saw? The one doing Spinjitzu on the bridge." Lloyd asked them.
"Actually, that was Arin here." Sora said.
"And even though I might pass out right now, 'cause you actually thought I was a real ninja, I'm not even close." Arin said sheepishly.
Suddenly a Claw Hunter came in and attacks Lloyd and Laval. The two Ninja fights off the Claw Hunter as they dodged and blocked each attack with precise.
"I kinda get your ninja fandom now." Sora said to them.
"Hold up your cuffs." Lloyd says to them.
As they fought, Lloyd redirects the Claw Hunter's Imperium Sword to destroy their handcuffs.
"Thanks for your help." Laval said as he knocks him out.
"That is my mask, right?" Lloyd asked them.
"I — I found it when you disappeared. I was there when the Merge happened. You rescued me, and I kept —" Arin explained.
Lloyd sniffs the mask and recoils.
"When did you last wash this?" Lloyd asks.
"You can wash them?" Arin said surprised.
"Come on, I'll give you a boost." Lloyd said.
"No need." Arin said as he takes out his grappling hook and glides up to the ceiling. "Whoo!"
"Show-off." Sora laughs.
As they jumped up, they also saw that Sonic with two other people. A man in his 50s and a woman in her mid-40s were also with them.
"Sonic?! You're here too! Oh, who are they?" Arin asked looking at them.
"Daryl Dixon." Daryl said to the boy.
"Carol Peletier." Carol said to him.
"What do we do now, Master Lloyd?" Arin asked.
"I'm no master. I'm just Lloyd. And to answer your question, we jump." Lloyd said.
"Excellent idea." Rexxar said.
"No! We can't leave the dragon!" Sora said.
"There's a dragon here too?" Lloyd said surprised.
"No one escapes from Rapton!" Rapton said with Claw Hunters behind him.
"Huh? What's a "Rapton"?" Sonic said confused.
"Me! I am Rapton?" Rapton shouts.
"What?" Lloyd shouts unable to hear him clearly.
"I am Rapton!" Rapton shouts in anger.
"Why do bad guys always feel the need to talk in third person?" Lloyd said.
"I can take these guys." Arin said to Lloyd.
He does Spinjitzu as he knocks back the Claw Hunters.
"That was him. Who'd he train under?" Lloyd asks Sora.
"He taught himself." Sora answered.
Arin accidentally fires a blast at Lloyd and Sora.
"Sorry!"
"Spinjitzu was the single most important ninja technique. It took me years to learn it with an incredible teacher. That shouldn't be possible." Lloyd said watching him fight.
"He's not the only one with skills. I just learned I can do this!" Sora says as she poses, but nothing happens.
"Was something supposed to happen?" Sonic asked.
"So — something's wrong! It worked before!" Sora said.
"Got anything else?" Lloyd asked her.
"Get them!" Rapton shouts to the Claw Hunters.
Intro
The heroes are seen on floating debris in space. Lloyd, Green Arrow, and Laval are jump up as they punched some debris out of the way.
🎶Lost in the unknown, so much to see🎶
The Flash and Sonic the Hedgehog ran across the debris as Supergirl and Green Lantern flies through.
🎶Together we will rise!🎶
Daryl and Carol jumped in as Rexxar the Mok'nathal slashed through the debris riding Spike the Gundark.
🎶Yeah!🎶
Arin swings around with his grappling hook as he does Spinjitzu. He then rides a dragon.
🎶We fight!🎶
Baby Riyu is then seen supercharging Sora with his power as they all charge together.
🎶Be a ninja for what's right!🎶
Lloyd takes on Rapton as their blades clashed.
"Buddy, I got zero idea who you are." Lloyd says to him.
"I'm Rapton! I just told you that!" Rapton said in anger.
"But if you're locking up kids and apparently dragons, then you and I have some issues to work out." Lloyd said.
"Oh, come on, weird powers! Why won't you work now?" Sora said frustrated.
"Well, mine work." Daryl said as he then shoots a greenish magical blast at the hunters.
"Whoa! You're an Elemental Master too?!" Arin exclaimed.
"Yeah, the Master of Magic apparently." Daryl said still surprise as well.
"I think I might know what the problem is, Sora! Be right back!" Arin said as he runs off.
"Huh?" Sora said.
Arin leaves with his grappling hook.
"Did he just leave?" Lloyd asks.
"He better not!" Daryl said as he blasted a hunter.
Arin finds the dragon's compartment and frees him.
"Right, right. Happy to see you too, buddy. Come on, we got work to do!" Arin laughed.
They return to the fight as Sora was knocked down by a Claw Hunter and was about ti be finished when the baby dragon powers up Sora.
"This is what I was trying to show you, Lloyd." Sora said to the Green Ninja.
She then uses her Elemental powers to hack the hunters' weapons.
"Elemental Powers?" Lloyd said surprised.
"Uh, Lloyd? I think I made a bomb. Here, catch!" Sora shouts.
They throw the bomb at Rapton's forces. It detonates and blasts Arin, Sora, Lloyd, Oliver, Laval, Sonic, Rexxar, Daryl, Carol, and the dragon off the train.
"It's supposed to be impossible to learn Spinjitzu by yourself, but ... I mean, it was a really weird version, but it was still Spinjitzu. And you definitely have an Elemental Power. It's not Fire or Ice, or some others I've seen, but ... maybe Tech Power?" Lloyd said.
"Told you, Sora!" Arin said to her.
"And it's somehow connected to this little dragon? Did one of your parents have powers?" Lloyd said.
"Not that I know of." Sora said unsure.
"This makes no sense. Where'd he come from?" Lloyd asked.
"We don't know. We found him when those jerks were hunting him. And we heard some tiger guy who threatened to hunt down his whole family." Arin explained.
"There's a tiger guy now?" Daryl said surprised.
"Probably from my Realm." Laval said.
"We need to warn his herd. There's gotta be a way to find his home." Sora said.
The dragon approaches the debris and nudges the rocks around.
"Look, I'm all for making rock sculptures, but we don't have a lot of time here, little buddy." Arin said.
The dragon turns to reveal a model of his home.
"That's not a rock sculpture. He's telling us where he's from!"
Later, at the Monastery of Spinjitzu, Lloyd and Laval with the group were now searching for scrolls.
"I can't believe it! I'm in the Monastery of Spinjitzu! I gotta say, though, it's a little weirder than I pictured it."
"The weird stuff is new. This place got real strange after the Merge." Lloyd explains as they searched.
As Arin looks around in awe as he then bumps into Sora.
"Arin, focus. We have to find the dragon's home." Sora tells him.
"After the Merge, Kai, Cragger, Worriz, and the Flash began to explore some of the new lands." Lloyd said to them.
"You know where Kai, the Fire Ninja, is? Along with Cragger the Life Ninja, Worriz the Plasma Ninja, and the Fastest Man Alive?" Arin said in surprise.
"Not exactly. It's a long story. But they sent notes about the places they'd seen. I'm pretty sure I saw those mountains in here somewhere." Lloyd said.
The dragon brings them a scroll. He barks at Sora, getting her attention.
"What did you find?" Sora asked him.
The dragon then shows them the scroll as they looked at it.
"The Land of the Three Mountains. But it's far away, and the only airship I still have, is the new Destiny's Bounty."
They arrive at the hangar bay to see the new Destiny's Bounty ship.
"Whoa!" Arin said in awe.
"But it isn't finished. And I don't have the skill to complete work on the engine." Lloyd said.
"I might know someone who does." Sora said as she tries to use her powers, but fails again. "Ugh, really? Back me up, buddy. Do Elemental powers come and go?"
"No. Well, sometimes. Elemental powers can be complicated. It can take a lot of work to achieve one's True Potential." Lloyd said.
"Yeah, sure." Daryl said looking his glowing hands.
(sighs.) "Okay, then. I'll get this thing going the old-fashioned way." Sora said as she works on the ship, humming.
"Does she always hum while she works?" Laval asked.
"No, sometimes she sings. Loudly. Trust me, the humming is better." Arin said.
"It's good to see you again, Rexxar." Oliver said to the Mok'Nathal.
"Same here. Been years since we've seen each other. I've been busy with these two." Rexxar said as he looks back Arin and Sora.
"You've been friends a long time?" Lloyd asked.
"We met right after the Merge. Rexxar was the one who found both of us and took us under his wing. When the Crossroads started to build up with folks from all the newly merged lands, Sora came from Imperium." Arin explained.
"I've seen that place. Looks impressive." Lloyd said.
"She doesn't think so. She ran away, and won't tell me why. I came to the Crossroads because my parents disappeared in the Merge. Like a lot of people. Like I thought you Ninja and the Justice League did. But you didn't." Arin said.
"Not all of us." Oliver said.
"What've you guys been doing since then?" Arin asked them.
"Keeping the world from destroying itself." Lloyd said as he moves some cargo.
Flashback
"The day started pretty normal. Master Wu sent me to find as many scrolls as I could on something he called "Coalescence". I couldn't make sense of it."
"No. That can't be right. It's been centuries. Oh, I don't understand!" Master Wu said in frustration.
"I'll just leave these here. Cool?" Lloyd said as he sets down some scrolls next to Wu. "Okay, good talk. Call me if you need anything else."
"Lloyd, my student, my nephew. I hope you do a better job than I have when you become master of this monastery. Remember, family is key." Master Wu said.
"Huh? You've been here for almost a thousand years. I could never —"
They are interrupted by a violent quake.
"It's happening. I don't know how, but it's happening. I needed more time to prepare!" Master Wu said.
They run to the courtyard, where the other Ninja are staring at the sky.
"What's going on here?!" Lloyd asked.
A rift opens in the sky.
"Then, I saw the beginning of the Merge."
They head into the rift with members of the Justice League aiding them. Lloyd then sees Arin floating in the air and rescues him.
"I guess that's when we first met."
"Hey kid, you get lost?" Lloyd asked him.
"It was the most chaotic thing I'd ever experienced. And then ..."
After getting people to safety, they all flew back to the eye of the Merge. An explosion occurs. Lloyd wakes up alone at the monastery.
"What? Where am I?" Lloyd said.
He looks around puzzledly. He then sees that Laval and Oliver were also with him. Turns out they were back at Ninja's Monastery somehow. They open the gates to see that their world had completely changed with dragons passing by with two moons in the sky.
"We learned whatever that chaos was, it resulted in the Merge. All Sixteen Realms and some of the Parallel Earths of the Multiverse coming together, expanding our world greatly. But for those that got caught up in it, the Ninja, the Justice League, your parents ... I still don't know what happened."
"I think the Merge was what Master Wu was researching. But his scrolls were destroyed, and I couldn't make any sense of his work. Except that it was somehow tied to something called "Source Dragons". But I've never heard of any dragons having that kind of power. I couldn't figure out how we made it back here."
Lloyd, Oliver, and Laval were now wearing new suits when they looked up to see the Destiny's Bounty in the sky.
"Or how the Bounty did. For weeks, I thought I was the only survivor. I was wrong."
Lloyd sees a three figures on the Bounty and attacks them, but he holds back just in time to see it was Kai, Cragger, and Worriz.
"What the heck, Lloyd?!" Kai said.
"Kai! Sorry. I haven't seen anyone in weeks." Lloyd said surprised to see him.
"So good to see you, buddy." Kai said.
"You too." Lloyd said as they bro hug.
"Cragger!" Laval said in joy as he hugs his best friend.
"Good to see you, buddy." Cragger said in joy of seeing him.
"What? No hug for me?" Worriz groaned.
"Heh, what? The big bad wolf sad he didn't get a hug?" Barry laughed with Sonic behind him.
"Barry, Sonic! You're here too!" Oliver said surprised.
"After the Merge, Kai, Cragger, and Worriz woke up on an island that didn't exist before. They worked their way through some strange kingdoms to get home. Along the way, they found the Flash and Sonic. They didn't know where the others were, but we quickly learned we had bigger problems."
Suddenly, another quake occurs in the sky. The heroes then spring into action. Lloyd, Laval, Cragger, Kai, and Worriz then use their Elemental powers to seal the rift.
"MergeQuakes. MergeQuakes are like aftershocks. Places where realms are unstable, trying to share the same area, like cracks in reality. And we learned that, for some reason, elemental powers can close them. But the MergeQuakes were getting more frequent and stronger. If they continue like this, it's only a matter of time before they rip the world apart. The others and I realized we needed help to stop them."
"Master Wu's scrolls had been destroyed, but there had to be answers out there somewhere. Or someone who could help us."
"Kai took the Bounty with Flash, Worriz, and Cragger to search the combined realms for answers, and the rest of us stayed to keep everyone safe. And the MergeQuakes were getting worse."
The remaining heroes then seen on patrol when they saw a man and woman who were struggling with a Shadow Banshee. The four heroes jump into action as Oliver shoots some arrows at it as Laval blinds it with his Sand powers. Lloyd fires an energy ball as Sonic Spin Slashed it, killing it as it puffs into dust.
"You two, okay?" Oliver asked the two people.
"Yeah... thanks. The hell was that?" The woman asked looking at the pile of dust.
"Shadow Banshee. Nasty creatures of the Shadowlands." Laval explains to them.
"So, who are you two? Where did you come from?" Lloyd asked as he puts his sword away.
"I'm Daryl Dixon and that's my friend, Carol Peletier." Daryl said introducing themselves.
"We're from Atlanta. Mind telling us what has happened?" Carol asked.
"It turns out that Daryl and Carol came from one of the Parallel Earths that merged with ours. A zombie apocalypse world. The two of them separated from their group to go after some people that took one of their members. As they drove after them, the Merge happened. Next thing they know, they're in a different land. Not only that, but Daryl also became an Elemental Master of Magic. He had no idea how it happened, but once the Merge happened, he had these new powers. We explained everything to them as this was all shocking to them as they didn't even know the Multiverse was real."
"This is so confusing." Carol said as she shook her head and stepped away to process this.
"So because of this, I now possess powers?" Daryl said as he makes his hands glow green.
"Yeah. I'm surprised that it happened. Maybe you two should stick with us so we can figure out your powers." Lloyd said.
"Daryl and Carol decided to stick with us as they saw we understood what was going on. Together we continued to patrol the area."
Lloyd and Laval are then seen doing patrol around the area where they heard a battle.
Lloyd and Laval slide down a building to see Arin, Sora, and Rexxar's fight against Rapton.
"Spinjitzu?" Lloyd said confused.
Flashback Ends
"That's why you expected a ninja in the train car with us?" Arin said.
"Yeah. But I never imagined it'd be someone who taught themselves Spinjitzu. Or someone with an elemental power I didn't know existed that's tied to a dragon. When dragons might be connected to what caused the Merge, it's — it's like it's — it's ..." Lloyd said.
"Fate. You were meant to find us. To train us! To be our new master." Arin said.
"I kinda agree with the kid. You know about Elemental powers. You could train me to master this." Daryl said to him.
"I'm not skilled enough to be your master. You guys need Wu, but he's gone." Lloyd said sadly.
They are interrupted by the Bounty activating.
"So, who's up for a flight?" Sora asked.
On the Bounty, Arin and Sora play catch with the dragon with nunchucks.
"Come on, buddy. Catch!" Arin says as they laugh. "Alright! Again, again, again!"
Lloyd smiles as he then turns to see their destination.
"Guys look! We're here!" Sonic said to them.
"The Three Peaks! We're almost there! We're —" Lloyd said as he sees Rapton's forces following them. "Oh, no."
"It's those dragon hunters. It's the Claws of the Imperium!"
"They must have followed us!" Carol said.
They attempt to dodge the Claws' blasts, but they are hit.
"I can't steady it!" Lloyd shouts as he struggles.
Rapton laughs evilly. The group scream as they speed towards a mountain, but suddenly, the ship stops.
"We're dead, right?" Arin said.
The dragon squawks happily. They look up to see a giant dragon carrying them.
"I think the little dragon's family found us!"
The giant dragon then flies them to safety as it drops the Bounty.
"Hey, I just fixed that!" Sora said as she sees the size of the dragon. "And I do not mind fixing it again. Ah, it'll be good practice, actually."
"What have you done to Riyu? Have you injured one of our own?" Dragon Matriarch demanded.
"Riyu? Is your name Riyu, buddy?" Arin said as Riyu squawks.
"We haven't hurt him. We rescued him from the Claws of the Imperium." Lloyd said.
"You expect me to believe that while you assault our land?" Dragon Matriarch said as Riyu squawks. "Riyu, you are a young dragon. You do not understand how the world works. These beings cannot be trusted."
"We came to help, to warn you about the Claws of the Imperium." Oliver said to her.
"But somehow, they followed us." Arin said.
"Let us prove we're allies." Lloyd said.
Outside, Rapton's forces take down the dragons.
"We've hit the dragon motherlode! Bring 'em down!" Rapton laughs.
Arin does Spinjitzu, but crashes into a tree.
"Dang it!"
"You definitely need some practice." Lloyd said to him.
Arin takes down a Claw with his grappling hook, and he and Lloyd high five. Rexxar runs around as he cuts dragons loose with his Shurikens. Daryl and Carol also help the others in freeing the dragons.
"This is definitely not something I thought we be doing." Daryl said to Carol.
"Tell me about it." Carol said.
Sora and Riyu then free a dragon that was caught.
"You're free! Get out of — ah!" Sora said as she is grabbed by Rapton.
"You're done ruining my plans, you ... plan ruiner!" Rapton growled.
The Dragon Matriarch emerges behind them, sending Rapton and Sora flying.
"I've never seen a dragon that big! Change of plans! That is our prey!" Rapton shouts.
The Claws close in on the Dragon Matriarch and bring her down.
"We have to help her! Come on!" Arin said.
"We can't rush in without a plan!" Rexxar said to him.
"So what's the plan?" Sora asked.
"You three have given me one." Lloyd said.
Rapton then contacts Ras with his communicator.
"Ras, we got the big one." He says as he urns the communicator to show him the Dragon Matriarch.
"Shall I prepare to land?" A Claw Hunter asked.
"No. Just be prepared to watch what happens next." Lord Ras said.
Lloyd moves in to defend the dragon, fighting off several Claws.
"Your Majesty. Riyu appears to have the ability to somehow connect and supercharge elemental powers." Lloyd said.
"I know nothing of this." Dragon Matriarch said.
"If you can power me up the way Riyu powers Sora, we might have a chance here." Lloyd said.
He then turns to Rapton and the Claw Hunters.
"This is your last chance, Rapton! Leave, or be destroyed!" Lloyd warns them.
Rapton only laughs.
"Your mistake." Lloyd says to them.
The Dragon Matriarch powers Lloyd up, and he screams as he feels the surge of power supercharge him. He then spun into a giant Spinjitzu tornado.
"Get him! What are you waiting for? Attack!" Rapton shouts to the hunters.
Lloyd's Spinjitzu blows them all away.
"Lord Ras! We need backup! Help!" Rapton calls Ras frantically.
"Our mission is complete. Return to Imperium." Lord Ras says.
Lloyd defeats the rest of Rapton's forces and depowers. The group rushed over to check on him.
"Wow. That ... was something. Guess my theory was right." Lloyd said.
"It appears there is a connection between us. I felt it as well. When the Merge occurred, I struggled to keep isolated. Hidden. But there are mysteries between us we clearly do not fully understand." Dragon Matriarch said.
"I agree. The world has changed. And it's time to build a new future." Lloyd said.
"You are a wise master." Dragon Matriarch said to him.
"I'm not a master. But maybe I could be a teacher. The Ninja have protected Ninjago for years. Along with the Justice League protecting the world too. We've been a symbol of hope for so many. But with the others missing, that hope had been lost. Now I see there is a reason to hope once again, because we can't do this alone." Lloyd said to Sora, Arin, and Rexxar. "I need your help saving the world."
"Alright! Yes!" Arin cheers.
"What about you two? You two gonna tag along and help?" Laval asked the Survivors.
Daryl and Carol looked at each other as they thought about it. They could go on their own to look for their friends, but they had no idea what could be out there. These people seem to be the only one who knows what to expect. Not only that, but Daryl also still doesn't know much about this new power he possesses.
"We're gonna stay with you. I still don't understand these new powers I got, and you seem to be the only experts that seem to know about this type of stuff." Daryl said.
"Your friends and family are scattered just like ours. Maybe we'll have better luck in finding them together." Carol said.
"Awesome! Welcome to being a Ninja." Sonic said to them.
"Hmm. These dragon hunters will not remain unconscious for long. Our herd will have to move locations so they cannot find us." Dragon Matriarch said.
"And we'd better get back to Ninjago. We have training to begin." Lloyd said.
"I guess this is it, buddy. But at least you're home now." Arin said to Riyu.
"We'll miss you so much." Sora said.
They hug Riyu and turn to leave, but Arin is hit by a nunchuck.
"What the —" Arin said to see Riyu not wanting to leave them.
Arin, Sora, and Rexxar then play then catch with Riyu.
"It appears Riyu is not ready to leave your little group." Dragon Matriarch said.
"He would be safe with us, if you allow it." Lloyd said to her.
"I think his decision is foolish. But, if there is to be a connection between our kinds, it has to begin somewhere. If he ever needs us, he will be able to find us." Dragon Matriarch said.
The dragons fly off, leaving Riyu with the Ninja. Now Lloyd, Oliver, Laval, and Sonic had new recruits to join their mission. Arin, Sora, Riyu, Rexxar, Grug, Daryl, and Carol. At Imperium, Ras contacts Empress Beatrix on his communicator.
"The plan worked perfectly, Your Majesty. Not only has the Ninja revealed himself, he has connected with a Dragon Matriarch." Lord Ras said.
"Then our hunt for more Source Dragons is well underway." Beatrix said as she steps toward the glass core. "You hear that? You'll have a companion down here in no time. Soon, Imperium will have enough dragon power to rule over all the Merged Realms!"
She then lets out an evil cackle that echoed in the room as a giant dragon claw could be seen.

That's right! Daryl is now the Elemental Master of Magic! Get ready folks! Because you're also gonna see Rick, Carl, Judith, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Beth, Merle, Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Tyreese, Sasha, Tara, Gabriel, Noah, Alden, Morgan, Negan, DJ, Ezekiel, and Jerry as their world also merged with Earth-Prime. As for Merle… oh I have big plans for him.
Chapter 3: Crossroads Carnival

Arin, Sora, Daryl, and Carol begin their first day of ninja training.

Chapter Text
In the Monastery of Spinjitzu, Arin, Sora, Rexxar, Daryl, Carol, and Riyu were all seen sleeping so peacefully. Suddenly, Lloyd bursts in.
"Rise and shine! Time to train!" Lloyd shouts to them.
"What ... Not just a dream! It really is my first day of ninja training! Yes! Awesome! Maximum awesome!" Arin shouts in joy as Riyu gets up as well.
"It's the crack of dawn." Sora moans.
"Think you could've let us sleep a little more?" Daryl asked.
"Now that the our world is no more, getting sleep here is much easier." Carol said.
"I know. I thought I'd let you sleep in for your first week. Meet us in the courtyard in ten minutes." Lloyd said.
"Sleep in"?" Sora said confused.
Arin and Riyu do push ups in the courtyard. Rexxar and Daryl were also doing some exercises.
"Why are we training way up here? We're becoming ninja to help people. Shouldn't we be around ... people? Y'know, like in the Crossroads?" Sora yawns.
"You just wanna go to the Crossroads Carnival, don't you?" Arin said.
"Well, duh. Don't you? We've never, ever missed one." Sora said.
"Ain't that the truth." Rexxar said.
"True. And I was determined to win the pie-baking contest this year. Grab-Barg wins every time. I've been perfecting my recipe all year." Arin sighs.
"Let's ask Lloyd if we can go." Sora says.
"Go where?" Lloyd asked with the others behind him.
"The Crossroads Carnival, where everyone from the combined lands celebrates their traditions. There's a ton of food and games and a huge fireworks show by this fireworks genius named Dorama." Sora explained.
"Plus, a pie-baking competition. It's super fun!" Arin said.
"Wow! That sounds fun. Reminds me of the market during Chima's Speedzor Races." Laval said.
"Sounds totally cool." Sonic said.
"It does sound fun. But it also sounds like a distraction from something even more fun. Training!" Lloyd said.
"What are we supposed to train on? There's nothing here!" Sora asked.
"Ah, to become a ninja, you must see potential where others do not." Lloyd said as he strikes the ground and the mechanisms begin to shift, but it gets stuck halfway.
"What? This always worked when Master Wu did it! Oh, it's a whole big impressive reveal!" Laval said upset.
"Sounds like your mechanisms haven't been maintained. When junk gets into gears, it can ruin everything. When did you last clean 'em?" Sora asked.
"I was supposed to be doing that? Uh, maybe if I —"
He seemingly falls down, but reappears on structures rising from the ground.
"The training course!" Lloyd said as they see it.
"So cool!" Arin said.
"Not bad." Daryl said impressed.
"One more thing! You must complete the course before I finish my tea." Lloyd said as he sips from a cup, but spits the tea out. "Oh, I burnt the tea. I didn't even know that was possible! I can't drink this. How do I time your performance now?"
"Why were you gonna time us with a hot beverage anyway?" Sora asked.
"Yeah. Seems weird." Daryl said.
"Me and Laval had the best teacher, my uncle. Master Wu. That's how he did it." Lloyd says as he approaches a portrait of Wu.
"As your teacher, I wanna do everything like he did. That's why I come here and kneel on his favorite old meditation carpet, and ponder how to be just like him. It's also why I grew this beard!"
"Beard?" Arin said confused.
"You're too far away to see it." Lloyd said as they got closer.
"Still not seeing." Sora said.
"Even closer. Closer ..." Lloyd said.
They get closer as he reveals a tiny hair on his chin.
"I guess I see something? Kinda?" Arin said.
"Trust me, it's there. Now train!" Lloyd said.
"How is this training to be a ninja? I mean, when are we gonna have to run over some weird obstacle course in real life?" Sora asked.
"Oh it happens way more than you'd think. Get started. We should get in a hundred or so laps today." Lloyd said.
"Aww." Sora moans.
"Alright!" Arin said.

Arin, Rexxar, Daryl, Carol, and Sora began to tackle the training course. Arin, Riyu, and Rexxar manages to swing and flip themselves through the rings of fire with ease. Daryl follows in as well as he manages to do it. Sora and Carol however... struggled.
"Keep going!" Lloyd shouts.
Arin, Rexxar, Daryl, and Carol manages to slip through the obstacle without getting hit by the huge wrecking balls as Sora unfortunately got knocked away.
"Again!" Oliver said.
They spin through the spinning spike bars as Sora gets knocked into the pond.
"Sora, you must focus!" Laval said.
They were now jump over the bouncing pillars and Sora unfortunately fell asleep on one.
"Ninja must be awake at all times!" Lloyd said as he pokes a dozing Sora with his staff.
"I'm up! I'm up." Sora said as she falls off again.
They continued the training as the sun began to set when they finally finished.
"Hmm. Without tea, I literally have no way of knowing if you did that fast enough. But I think this was a pretty good first day. Get some rest and we'll start again at dawn!" Lloyd said as he and the others leave.
"Oh." Sora groans.
"Whoo!" Arin said.
Back inside the monastery, Arin finishes up a fresh pie.
"Smells good, huh, buddy? Too bad no judge will ever taste it." Arin said.
"Do you think every day of training will be like this? I already need a break. What if we just ... sneak out to the carnival?" Sora suggested.
"Of course I want to go. But we have a chance to train as ninja. And under the legendary Green Ninja! I don't wanna mess this up." Arin said.
"He's right. We shouldn't sneak out." Rexxar said.
"He'll never find out. We'll be back way before dawn. Plus, sneaking out will test our stealth skills. Even Lloyd would approve of that." Sora said.
"Uh, I don't know." Arin said.
"Mm. That sure smells like a first place pie to me." Sora said smelling the pie.
"It does, doesn't it? Okay. I'm in." Arin said.
"Beat that I come too, just make sure you kids don't get into trouble." Rexxar said as Riyu squawks.
"Sure, Riyu. You can come too. But a dragon in the Crossroads will attract a lot of attention, so you need a disguise. And I know just the thing!" Sora said.
Arin, Sora, and Rexxar walk through the streets with Riyu disguised as a dog.
"I'm not sure this shaggy dog costume will fool anyone." Arin said.
"It's carnival time. Everyone will be too distracted to look at him closely." Sora said.
"Welcome to the Crossroads Carnival, Riyu!" Rexxar said.
All around them were tons of booths with people from the Sixteen Realms and the Parallel Earths.
"Come wield the traditional Munce hammer and test your strength!" Munce says as a kid tries out the game.
"Wow!" Arin said in awe of the place.
"Come get your glug here! Special party drink of us Trolls." Bodus the Troll said as he served the glug to Trolls and people.
"Come get your bimberry butternuts! Fresh from the oven!" Attila of Corona shouts.
"Sweet person-charming, Mikloshe!" Sora said.
"Sora, look at that!" Arin said.
"Get your Moss-milk ice cones! Freshly cave-squeezed!" Geckle said.
"Come, everyone! Champion mech racer Lobbo buys for all! Lobbo lobbo!" Lobbo said as he spends his credits.
"Guess Lobbo's blowing through that prize money he won from the Mech Master 5000 race." Sora said.
"Too bad we didn't win." Rexxar said.
"Look! Dorama's tent!" Arin points.
"Don't miss tonight! My best fireworks show yet!" Dorama hologram speaks.
They notice the dancing Security Bots nearby.
"Hey. Those are the pieces of our SA Mark 01! The junkyard crew must have salvaged the mech's wreckage and used it for their display. That stuff belongs to us!" Sora said.
"I gotta go enter my pie. The deadline is, like, now!" Arin said.
They rush to Alfonzo Frohicky's stall.
"Arin and Sora! Oh, I knew I'd peep you scallywags before the deadline. You weren't gonna miss a shot at that bling, were you, Chef Arin?" Alfonzo said.
"This is my year, Mr. Frohicky." Arin says as he gives the pie as Grab-Barg bumps him from behind. "Hey! Watch it!"
"Heh. Ready to come in second again, kid? Because your pie looks as mangy as your weird little dog." Grab-Barg teases.
Nearby, Lobbo showers coins on passersby.
"Watch it, Grab-Barg. We're not ... huh?" Sora said.
They watch as Whack Rats kidnap Lobbo.
"Alarm! Alarm! Is this the end of Lobbo? Lobbo lobbo!" Lobbo says as he is taken away on a truck.
"I'm on it! Follow me!" Arin says.
He and Rexxar pursues them with his grappling hook.
"Follow? Follow how?" Sora says.
She and Riyu look towards the SA Mark 01.
"Riyu, it would take hours to reassemble that thing. If we're going to help Lobbo, we have to ..." Sora says as Riyu powers her up and she creates a bike out of the SA Mark 01. "Whoa! Now, come on!"
"Wow. You see the best stuff at the carnival." Female Hypnobrai said.
"Indeed." George the Dozeratops said.
Back at the monastery, Lloyd and Laval enters Arin, Sora and Rexxar's room.
"Arin? Sora? Rexxar?" Lloyd calls out.
"They snuck out? Oh, you've got to be kidding me! We never would have done this to Master Wu!" Lloyd said.
"That's a lie. We totally would have." Laval said.
The Whack Rats arrive at the Crossroads junkyard.
"Ah, there you are, Lobbo. I hear you've been out spending my money." Kreel said.
"No, Kreel. Lobbo has been spending Lobbo's money. Lobbo lobbo." Lobbo said.
"I'd have won that race if that little dragon hadn't shown up, and you know it. That prize money belongs to me, so I'm going to take what's mine!" Kreel said.
"Oh no you're not! "
Arin, Sora, and Rexxar arrive before them.
"Ha! Where have you three brats been? No one's see you since you ran off after that dragon." Kreel said.
"Oh, thanks for asking! Some pretty amazing stuff has happened. We met —" Arin speaks.
"Yeah, stop. I don't actually care. But now that you're here, I can get back at everyone who ruined the race for me all at once. Get 'em!" Kreel said.
A fight breaks out. Sora tries to shake a Whack Rat off her vehicle.
"Ugh! Get off my ride!" Sora says as she knocks the Whack Rat off.
"Ugh! Give me that money!" Kreel said fighting Lobbo for the money.
"Lobbo defies you. Lobbo lobbo." Lobbo said.
"That was awesome, spinning them off like that!" Arin said.
"Right? Just like we did on the obstacle course today! Wait, did I ... learn something from training?" Sora said.
"Yeah... you did. Nice one, kid." Rexxar said.
"Ugh, you fools! None of this gets me closer to my precious Targle!" Kreel whined.
"Hold up. What's a "precious Targle"?" Arin asked.
"Not what. Who! My right-hand minion! He was taken by a mystery kidnapper demanding an enormous ransom! I was trying to get my money from Lobbo so I can save Targy. I have to get him back!" Kreel explained.
"Since when do you care so much about your little henchmen?" Sora said.
"He's not a henchman! He's my ... only friend." Kreel admitted.
"You have a friend? Come on." Sora said scoffing.
"Sora, if someone needs saving, we have to help." Arin said.
"Even if it's one of Kreel's goons?" Sora said.
"Minions." Kreel corrected.
"Ninja help everyone. And we're ninja now. Well, kinda. How about this? We track down Targle, you let Lobbo go." Arin offered.
"And stop trying to steal his money." Rexxar added.
"My money. But fine. I need Targy back. Find him, and this weird little orb guy can is free to go about his weird little orb life." Kreel said.
"Deal." Arin said.
At the Crossroads Carnival, Lloyd, Laval, Daryl, and Carol make their way through the crowd.
"Excuse me. Have you seen three — wait! I'm looking for — Hold on! I haven't been around this many people in a while ... whoa!" Lloyd said as he is pushed and shoved.
He is then knocked back into a tent.
"Were people always that pushy?" Lloyd said.
He turns to see memorials of all the Ninja.
"Photos of us? Lloyd said surprised.
He then sees two kids putting flowers on the portraits.
"Excuse me. What is all this?" Lloyd asked the two kids.
"It's our neighborhood's way of remembering our great heroes, the ninja. They put this tent up every year." The Boy said.
"Once upon a time, the ninja protected the whole city! And they had fun while doing it! Then they risked their lives to save people during the Merge. Now no one knows where they are. Some people think they're gone forever." The Girl said.
"Nah, I think they'll be back someday. Ninja never quit, right?" The Boy said.
"The world has changed so much. I had no idea that we ... uh, that the ninjas were still remembered like this." Lloyd said.
"Of course they are! The ninja stand for hope. Who doesn't need hope?" Boy said.
"You know, you kinda look like one of them." The Girl said.
"Yeah. I ... I've been told I look a little like the Green Ninja." Lloyd said.
"Nah, you look more like their teacher, Master Wu. It's the beard." The Girl said making Lloyd smiles.
Meanwhile, Laval got separated from the group as he looks at the booths and sees a familiar raven.
"Get your accessories and your gear. I have food, tools, and weapons and flowers, gadgets and gizmos and thingamajiggers and jiggermathings. Anything you want." Razar said to customers with Ripnik and Rizzo.
"Razar? Is that you?" Laval asked surprised.
"Laval! My friend! Good to see you. Interested in buying?" Razar said.
"What? No. But I'm glad to see you. The others will be too." Laval said.
"Laval?"
Laval turns to see Longtooth, one of the Lions of his Tribe.
"Laval! Oh it is so good to see you. Your father has been worried." Longtooth said.
"My dad? Is everyone back at Chima okay?" Laval asked.
"Yes. Your dad is okay. But... your uncle along with some other people of the different Tribes are missing." Longtooth said.
"I see... don't worry. Tell my dad that I'm OK and we're gonna find everyone." Laval said.
Daryl and Carol are looking around the area when they felt like they were being watched. Daryl then quickly turned and blasted the figure backwards. He goes to bless him again only to stop when he saw that it was Rick!
"Rick...?" Daryl said surprised.
The two looked surprised and happy to see each other. Daryl helps Rick up and hug him. Carol also hugs him as well. They then look behind in the see Michonne and Carl with Judith.
"Glad we found you." Daryl says.
"Same with you. Since when can you shoot things from your hands?" Rick asked.
"Heh... it's a long story." Daryl said.

Now Arin, Sora, and Rexxar walk along a dark street.
"You sure this is where Kreel said the ransom drop was supposed to be?" Arin asked.
"Yup. Start looking for clues." Sora said.
Riyu leaps onto a dumpster and squawks.
"What'd you find, Riyu?" Arin asked as they find a hidden lever by a dumpster.
"Hidden dumpster lever? Yeah, that counts as a clue." Rexxar said.
Sora pulls the lever, which starts the mechanisms easily.
"See? That's how smoothly a mechanism can open when its gears are properly maintained." Sora said.
"Time for those stealth skills." Arin said.
"Told you sneaking out was good ninja practice." Sora said.
Lloyd and the others continue their search at the carnival, bumping into more passersby.
"I'm never gonna find them." Lloyd says.
He notices a scrap of fabric and picks it up.
"Huh. Feels familiar. No. There's no way they'd be running around town with my meditation carpet." Lloyd said.
He sees a trail of the same fabric.
"They're running around town with my meditation carpet!" Lloyd said.
Arin and Sora come upon an object in the spotlight.
"Definitely looks like a bad guy lair to me. Ugh. Smells like one too." Sora said.
"What was that?" Arin said.
They uncover a tarp to find Whack Rats in a cage.
"We found them." Rexxar said.
"They're drained or something. Why would anyone do this?" Sora said.
"For entertainment, of course!" Dorama said as he enters dramatically.
"Dorama? The fireworks guy? Everyone loves you! You can't be a villain." Arin said.
"Hmph. I had my suspicions." Rexxar said.
"Do not typecast me! I can excel in the role of the heavy." Dorama said.
"Look, I'll admit, that was a great entrance. But your whole thing of kidnapping Whack Rats for ransom ends right now!" Sora said.
"Set them free, or we'll make you!" Arin said.
"Here in my theater, I call the shots!" Dorama shouts.
He summons an obstacle course with fire and swinging blades to attack the three. The three heroes then began to dodge each attack from the obstacle course.
"Okay, I'll admit it. Lloyd was right! There are times to use obstacle course training in real life." Sora said.
"Why Whack Rats, weirdo?" Arin asked.
"To put on a better show! They have a unique energy, which I can extract and use to create incredibly vibrant, colorful fireworks! That's why my carnival finale is always so spectacular!" Dorama said as he draws energy from the Whack Rats and fires blasts at the two.
"You're draining these poor creatures just to make your fireworks display a little better?" Sora said.
"That's animal cruelty!" Rexxar shouts.
"Of course! I may be the most celebrated entertainer in the Crossroads, but you've seen that carnival now. People from so many realms, bringing so much exotic spectacle. I will not be upstaged!" Dorama said.
"But people love you already!" Arin said.
"And I intend to keep it that way." Dorama said as Arin shuts off the stage.
"It's over, Dorama!" Arin said.
"Oh, puh-lease! Do you honestly believe I wouldn't have an understudy waiting in the wings?" Dorama said.
He reveals a giant marionette.
"Now that's just unnerving." Sora says.
"I hate puppets!" Rexxar said as he backed away.
The marionette attacks them and grabs Arin.
"Leave my students alone!"
Everyone turns to see Lloyd, Laval, Daryl, Carol, Rick, and Michonne arriving at the scene. Lloyd and Laval then plugged some Chi into their chest as they power up. Big, transparent lion and dragon figures appeared as they powered up and do Spinjitzu and severs the marionette's strings.
"This performance is cancelled." Lloyd said.
"Correction, time for an encore." Dorama said.
The marionette gets up as it pulls its katana at them.
"This is like that nightmare I had." Lloyd said in fear.
"It's a nightmare everyone's had." Sora said.
She screams as the marionette grabs her.
"Sora! No!" Arin shouts.
"I can't breathe!" Sora gasped as she was getting squeezed.
Arin gasped at this, seeing his best friend getting hurt. He transfers Spinjitzu onto Dorama's gramophone and strikes down the marionette with it.
"How did you do that?" Lloyd asked.
"I don't know!" Arin said.
"You transferred Spinjitzu to an object." Lloyd said.
"No one's ever done that!" Laval said.
"Not making sense to me either!" Arin said.
The marionette rises again as Lloyd saw it had gears.
"It has gears? Then I got this." Lloyd said as he prays the scraps of carpet fabric into the marionette's gears with a fan, causing it to malfunction.
"How'd you know how to do that?" Arin asked.
"This morning, someone told me when junk gets into gears, it can ruin everything." Lloyd says as they laugh.
Riyu tackles Dorama, who is trying to escape.
"Stop! This can't be the final act for the Crossroads' greatest showman!" Dorama said.
"No, it's definitely closing night, once we call the authorities and let them figure out what to do with you." Lloyd said.
Dorama tries to get up but gets knocked unconscious by a shuriken. Laval turns to see a familiar figure.
"Uncle! Uncle Lavertus It's you!" Laval said in joy.
"Don't know who you are kid... or do I? Take care." Shadowind said as he sped off.

At the Crossroads junkyard, Kreel gives Lobbo romantic advice.
"Well, if you were more emotionally available, maybe she wouldn't have broken up with you." Kreel said.
"Lobbo knows. Lobbo often hides Lobbo's true feelings. Lobbo lobbo." Lobbo said.
"Kreel, someone wants to see you!" Arin said as Targle appeared.
"Targy! You're safe! Oh!" Kreel said as she hugs Targle. "Lobbo, you're free to go."
"Lobbo was always free. Up here." Lobbo said as he points to his head. "Lobbo lobbo."
"Master, uh, Lloyd, we're sorry for sneaking away without permission." Arin said.
"I let them go. Blame me." Rexxar said.
"And for taking your carpet." Sora added.
"Well, I'm sorry too. For pushing you so much today. I was so serious about my teaching, I forgot this can also be fun." Lloyd said.
"Yeah, we'll try to not to be too pushy." Laval said.
"We're all new at this. We get it. No problem." Sora said.
"Indeed. We all are." Rick said happy to see some of his friends.
"Hey, if we hurry, we can still make it to the pie contest." Arin said.
At Alfonzo's stall, he announces the winners of the pie contest.
"In first place is ... Chef Grab-Barg! Congratulations!" Alfonzo said.
"Never any doubt." Grab-Barg laughs.
"And in second place ... Arin. Uh, sorry, kiddo. But it's still a great pie." Alfonzo said.
"Don't worry. You'll win next year." Lloyd said.
"Next year?" Arin asked.
"Of course! We can't miss the next Crossroads Carnival!" Lloyd said.
"And this year's carnival isn't over! There's still lots of food to try. I had my eye on some candy mushrooms from the Realm of Lee." Sora said.
"A snack tour is exactly what we need before training starts again tomorrow. At the crack of dawn." Lloyd said.
Arin cheers as Sora groans.
"So... I see you've taken on some students, yes?" Razar says.
"No way! The Raven Ninja?! So cool!" Arin said.
"Razar! So good to see you." Lloyd said hugging him.
"I found him while searching." Laval said.
"Yes indeed. And I've decided to go back with you all at the Monastery." Razar said.
"Cool." Arin said.
They then continued to enjoy the carnival. As they do, Laval thinks about his uncle. Upset that he didn't remember him, but hopes he finds him to get him back. He didn't notice he was watching him.
"Hmmm... Laval?" Shadowind said.
"So you guys don't know where the others are?" Daryl asked Rick and the others.
"No. Michonne, Carl and Judith were the only ones that ended up with me. The others I have no idea where they are." Rick said.
"What's the last thing you guys remember?" Carol asked.
"It was right after dealing with Garth and his group and burying Bob. Abraham and his group were getting ready to leave with Glenn and Maggie..." Rick explains.
Flashback...
It was right after they killed the Garth and his group and burying Bob. Abraham gave Rick a map.
"This is our route to DC. Well stick to it as long as we're able. If not, well, you got our destination. Once Eugene gets to the big brains left up there, things will bounce back. This group should be there for it. You should be there for it." Abraham said.
"They will be." Maggie said.
"We will." Michonne said.
"We will." Rick said.
"That's when it happened..."
Suddenly the area shakes as the skies rip open as other realities are seen. It was unlike anything they ever seen. Gravity began to becomes weird as things begin to float. That's when a big explosion of light happened. Rick wakes up in the church with Michonne, Carl, and Judith. Rick gets out of the church to see it was moved to a different area with dragons in the air and nearby monsters.
"When we woke up, we found ourselves in a completely different area, but it wasn't just that. Everyone else from our group were gone and we had no idea where they were or if they were still alive. We then began traveling around, looking for some shelter and food." Rick explains.
Rick and the others were stopping by a lake to get some water when they saw some River Trolls of Arcadia. The River Trolls gave them a weird look as they continued on their way.
"We soon learned that that big thing in the sky was called the Merge. A big event emerge our world together. We continue looking around so we came across the Crossroads." Michonne said.
"Rick... Jessie... I couldn't find her. I know that she's is your sister but also my wife. My pregnant wife with my two kids." Daryl said.
"Hey. We'll find her. All of them." Rick said.
"I see you guys made new friends too." Carl says.
"They know this world better than we do. If we have any chance of finding the others of our group, they are our best way of finding them." Carol said.
"Plus, they're the only one who can teach me to master my powers." Daryl says as his hand glows with magic.
"Still it's crazy. But then again... This whole new world is crazy." Rick said.
"In the meantime, how about we enjoy the carnival?" Daryl said as they rejoin the others.
In Dorama's theater, a figure enters.
"And so enters, stage left, the authorities the ninja said they'd call. Pitiful. So trite. Predictable." Dorama said.
"That call was intercepted. No authorities are coming." Ras said.
"Who are you, then?" Dorama said.
Ras then reveals himself.
"Your new boss. I have a job for you." Lord Ras said as he frees Dorama.
"A patron of my arts, eh? I knew the show would go on." Dorama cackles.

For those who don’t know who Jessie is… she is my OC. Rick Grimes’ sister, Daryl’s wife who’s pregnant with twins. A boy and girl. Thanks to a fellow writer on Wattpad, inspired by his The Walking Dead story of Daryl and his OC, Rick Grimes’ sister Parker, who gets married to Daryl and have kids. He let me do the same idea.
Rick, Morgan, Carl, Judith, Glenn, Merle, Carol, Daryl, Maggie, Beth, Michonne, Tyreese, Sasha, Tara, Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Gabriel, Noah, Aaron, Jesus, Alden, RJ, and Negan are probably gonna be the only TWD characters who are gonna be in this. Chapter 4: Beyond Madness
Summary:
While doing some training, the original Destiny’s Bounty appears in bad shape. So the Ninja head off to do some investigating that lands them in the Realm of Madness where they come across a fight between Dragons and Craglings. But along with that, they come across some familiar faces.
Notes:
In this chapter, more heroes and survivors will be revealed. Oh, and the OC of Rick Grimes’ sister is the actor Jennifer Lawrence. I forgot to mention that when I mentioned the OC I have as Rick’s sister and Daryl’s wife.

Chapter Text
At the Monastery of Spinjitzu, Riyu chases a butterfly around, while Sora tries to fix the SA Mark 01.
"Oh, come on! (She groans.) Weird powers. Why won't you work now?" Sora said.
Lloyd watches as Arin takes on the obstacle course.
"I can do this. This, I can do." Arin said.
He falls off halfway, and Lloyd does Spinjitzu to get him out.
"Thanks, Mast ... uh, Lloyd. I really thought I could do it, but I forgot something. That I'm the worst student in the history of students." Arin said.
"The worst? Remind me to tell you about the time our friend, Jay, the Lightning Ninja, trained in the south wing." Laval said.
"The monastery doesn't have a south wing." Arin said.
"Not after Jay trained there. Poof. Look, you learned a version of Spinjitzu by yourself. Totally unheard of. But, you have to unlearn some of what you taught yourself to relearn a more ... balanced approach." Lloyd said.
"Really?" Arin said.
"Well, I don't need to relearn anything, 'cause I never learned anything in the first place! This elemental power stuff's impossible." Sora said.
"It's tough for me. I have them and I still don't understand my powers." Daryl said.
"It took me a long time to tap into my potential. But I did. And you both will, too." Lloyd said.
"I'm not even sure I have an elemental power. Tech Power?" Sora said.
"Yeah. Same with Magic power." Daryl said.
"I haven't heard of it either. But I've studied elemental powers all my life. I'm telling you, the true power is inside of you." Lloyd said.
"No, I'm pretty sure they're Riyu's powers, and I just, like, borrow them or something." Sora said.
"You saw me with the Matriarch. She sent my powers into overdrive. I don't know why dragon energy enhances elemental powers, but those were my powers, not hers." Lloyd said.
"If this power is in me, how come I can't feel it?" Sora asked.
"Every elemental master is different. Cole could feel the power of Earth in his guts. Razar could feel the power of Darkness in his feathers. Nya said the power of Water flows through her veins. Zane could sense Ice power in his mind. Rogon can feel the power of Stone in his muscles." Laval explains.
Riyu screeches at something beyond the monastery walls.
"What's got Riyu all worked up?" Sora asked.
They join Riyu on the wall.
"No way!" Arin said.
"What am I looking at here?" Sora asked.
"That's the old Bounty! Kai took that ship to search for the other ninja. This must mean his mission was a success!" Lloyd said.
The Bounty hurtles towards them without stopping.
"Incoming!" Laval shouts.
The heroes are seen on floating debris in space. Lloyd, Green Arrow, and Laval are jump up as they punched some debris out of the way. Daryl and Carol jumped in as Rexxar the Mok'nathal slashed through the debris on his Gundark.
🎶Lost in the unknown, so much to see🎶
Arin swings around with his grappling hook as he does Spinjitzu as he changes into his Ninja suit.
🎶Together we will rise!🎶
He then rides a dragon.
🎶Yeah!🎶
🎶We fight!🎶
Baby Riyu is then seen supercharging Sora with his power as they all charge together.
🎶Be a ninja for what's right!🎶
The Ninja dodge out of the way and watch the Bounty descend.
"I'm thinking Kai's mission was not a success." Sora says.
"Come on!" Sonic said.
Arin uses his grappling hook to reach the ship. Lloyd, Razar, and Laval follows with Spinjitzu. Sonic
"Seriously, guys?" Sora said.
She turns to her mech.
"Kai! Kai!" Lloyd shouts as he inspects the ship.
"Battle damage? What did Kai get himself into?" Laval said.
"Hey guys, heads up! You might wanna duck!" Sora said as she lands on the Bounty.
"Just a thought, we should probably steer away from those mountains." Sonic said.
Lloyd then tries to steer as it couldn't.
"Oh, no! The steering is jammed!" Lloyd said.
She goes below deck to check the gears.
"The steering column isn't attached to the rudder anymore!" Sora said.
"That's bad, right?" Lloyd said.
"Riyu, my tools!" Sora shouts to him.
Riyu pushes the toolbox down the hatch.
"Ow! Thanks."
"Sora, anytime now!" Lloyd said.
"Try that." Sora said.
"Try what?" Lloyd said as it didn't work.
"Ugh. Now!" Sora said as she fixed it.
They manage to avoid a direct collision with the mountain.
"Gently, gently. This is how you do it." Lloyd said.
The Bounty crashes anyway.
"Should we be taking notes?" Rexxar chuckles.
"Let us never speak of this." Lloyd says.
They enter the cabin of the Bounty to see the area was a mess.
"There's gotta be some clues about where the Bounty came from. Scorch marks? Did Kai attack his own ship? Doesn't make sense." Rexxar said.
"I doubt he made this massive blast hole. Something huge hit this." Arin said.
"Maybe a beast?" Daryl said.
"Ugh. And why is there a puddle in here? Water and fire?" Carol said as she also noticed some crystals.
"These are definitely Kai, Cragger, and Worriz's notes. Looks like they was filling in this map as he went. And he only got to here." Lloyd said.
"That would be in the direction this ship was coming from." Daryl said.
"Then that's where we need to go. It's up to us to figure out what happened to Kai, Worriz, and Cragger." Lloyd said.
"Good thing we've got a new Bounty." Sora said.
They set off in the new Bounty.
"So, if the old ship came back without Kai and Worriz, does that mean they're..." Arin speaks.
"Maybe they got into trouble and sent the Bounty back on autopilot to get help." Laval said.
"It must have been pretty serious trouble for him to abandon ship." Arin said.
"Serious trouble is something Kai and Worriz's great at finding. Of course, there's the other explanation that this is all an elaborate trap to capture and destroy us." Lloyd said.
"Right. What are the odds that someone would do all that?" Sora said as she laughs.
"In my experience, everything is a big trap about half the time." Lloyd said.
"Seriously?" Sora laughs again.
"No. More like two-thirds of the time." Lloyd said.
"Yikes." Carol said.
At the Kingdom of Imperium, Dorama fiddles around with the Photac.
"Oh, my, my. This will make quite the show!" Dorama laughs.
Suddenly Lord Ras enters the lab.
"Report." Ras said.
"This guy you found is a definite weirdo. He keeps inviting me to his autobiographical one-man musical. But he does know more than anyone else about extracting and exploiting exotic energy." Dr. LaRow said.
"Will he get the Photac to work?" Ras asked.
"Mm, hard to say." Dr. LaRow said.
"When I ask a question, I expect an answer." Ras said.
"Point taken. My guess, he'll get this prototype to work, but mass-producing more? No." Dr. LaRow said.
"Why not?" Ras asked.
"Because there's only one person who can do that, and you know who." Dr. LaRow said.
Ras leaves angrily. Meanwhile, the Bounty comes to a stop in the Realm of Madness area.
"We should be here. You see anything?" Lloyd asked.
"Nothing this side, just mud. Sora?" Arin said.
"Just two big dragons in a massive battle with stone dudes." Sora said.
Craglings were fighting against some Earth Dragons. Riyu then cries.
"Riyu's right! Those dragons need our help!" Arin says.
"What's attacking them?" Sora said.
"Craglings. Rock monsters from the Realm of Madness." Lloyd said.
"Going in!" Arin said as he uses his grappling hook to sling into the fight.
"Wait!" Laval said.
He watches Arin leap down with Riyu. Daryl and Rexxar fly down.
"He just left! You never run into a fight without a plan of –"
He sees Sora get into her mech with Carol.
"See you down there, teach!" Sora said.
"Isn't the point of being a student to listen to your teachers? Were we this bad with Master Wu? Wait. Yes. Yes, we were." Lloyd said.
The Craglings fire boulders at the dragons. Arin swings in to attack the Craglings.
"Messing with dragons, huh?" Arin said.
"Then we gotta mess with you!" Sora said.
Lloyd, Laval, Sonic, Arin, and Sora defeat the Craglings.
"Nice! We gave the dragons cover to get away!" Arin said.
Suddenly, they are knocked over by a blast of water, psychic, and crystal energy. Lloyd and Laval slices through them with their blades.
"The only person who can control water and psychic energy like that is ..." Lloyd trails off.
They turn around to see three figures jumped out in front of the Craglings. A blue and gray colored suited Ninja and a Ninja Eagle. Along with a large, muscular Troll with blue skin and a set of big horns on his head. He has two yellow eyes and spiky growths on his shoulders, arms, and back. He wears a ring in his nose, a brown leather kilt with a wide black belt, which has a triangular gold buckle, and green and brown leather wrapped on his right wrist. He also has patterns on his shoulders, chest, and chin. It was Nya, Eris, and Draal the Deadly!
"Nya!" Lloyd said.
"Eris!" Laval said.
"Draal!" Sonic said.
"Lloyd?" Nya said.
"Laval?" Eris said.
"Sonic?" Draal said.
"Why are you fighting for the enemy? I'm not fighting for the enemy. You are!" They said to each other.
They stop, share a smile, and embrace.
"I take it these two know each other?" Sora said.
"That's Nya and Eris. They're one of the original ninja. And that Troll is Draal the Deadly. Didn't you read the scrolls Lloyd gave us?" Arin said.
"He gave us, like, four million scrolls." Sora said as she got out of her vehicle.
"It's good to see you. Even if you do fight innocent dragons now." Lloyd said.
"Innocent? Those dragons have been attacking the Cragling Village." Nya said.
"Oh, uh, that, uh ... does shed some new light on the situation." Laval said.
"I'll say. Who taught you to just leap into a fight like that? Definitely not Master Wu." Eris said.
"Uh huh." Lloyd said as he turns to Arin, Sora, Daryl, and Carol. "You hear that? That's what I was trying to say. Don't just leap into —"
"I literally saw you leap down and just Spinjitzu Craglings." Nya said.
"Soooo ... how've you been?" Lloyd said.
"Hi, I'm Nya. You can see that we go way back, if you can't tell." Nya said to Arin, Sora, Rexxar, Daryl, and Carol.
"I'm Sora." Sora said.
"I'm Daryl." Daryl said.
"I'm Carol." Carol said.
"And I'm Arin. We're Lloyd's students." Arin said.
"Sounds like I missed a lot. Any chance Jay's with you?" Nya asked.
"And Rogon?" Eris asked.
Lloyd and Laval shakes their heads "no" as they both look grim.
"Don't worry, they're out there somewhere. They all are." Lloyd said comforting them.
"We'll find them. I know it." Laval said.
*sighs* "Follow me. We need to update the Cragling leader." Nya said.
"Hey, Draal, since when can create and shoot crystals like that?" Sonic asked.
"Since the Merge. I'm now the Elemental Master of Crystals." Draal said creating a small crystal.
"Cool." Sonic said in surprised.
They arrive at the Craglings' dwelling. The doors open as the leader of the Craglings.
"Ninja Nya, our beloved champion. Who do you bring to our gates?" Crag-Nor said.
"King Crag-Nor, these are our friends, Lloyd, and his students." Nya said.
"Ah, they are ninja and heroes like you. Then they joined our side in battle?" Crag-Nor said.
"Well, uh ... no. They actually fought against us and messed everything up. But I've straightened them out." Nya said.
"Mm, I see. Everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to accept others for their flaws and —" Crag-Nor speaks he then sees Riyu. "Why is that foul thing here?"
"He's our friend, and teammate!" Arin said defending the baby dragon.
"You are fools to trust such a creature. Dragons are treacherous. And none are welcome in this village." Crag-Nor said.
"If Riyu doesn't go in, we don't go in." Sora said.
"Same with me. Just because some dragons are attacking you doesn't mean that all of them are bad." Draal said, defending Riyu.
"Wise king, if this creature travels with my friends, then I can vouch for him." Nya said.
"Hmm. Ninja Nya defends us in our time of need. Since she speaks up for the beast, it may enter." Crag-Nor said as he takes out an eye. "But it should beware, our eyes shall be on it."
He eats his eye, which reappears in his eye socket, causing Lloyd to gag.
"Sorry. The Craglings can be pretty dramatic." Eris said.
They enter the dwelling and saw more Craglings. Among them were five humans that Daryl and Carol recognized. It was Tyreese, Sasha, Abraham, Rosita, and Tara!
"Guys!" Tara said as they all hugged each other.
"So good to see you guys." Carol said.
"Same here. It's nice to see familiar faces again." Tyreese said.
"Hey. Where's that smart computer of your group?" Daryl asked.
"Eugene didn't end up with us. Like everyone else, we got scattered across this new world. We have to find him." Abraham said.
"We will. We'll find everyone." Rosita said in calming the sergeant.
"Come on." Sasha said as they all sat down.
"Welcome, friends of Ninja Nya and Eris, to an authentic Cragling feast." Crag-Nor said sitting on his throne.
The Craglings then placed down bowls full of bluish mud. Daryl and the Survivors were a bit unsure of this.
"Mm. I've always wanted to eat mud!" Arin said eating it.
Sora gags at the sight of this as Riyu attempts to eat, but a Cragling pushes him away.
"Filthy dragons can't eat here." Cragling said.
Riyu whimpers. Daryl tries it first as it's not bad. Soon everyone began to eat.
"This is the finest feast in the Kingdom of Madness. We used to call our home the Realm of Madness. But then, of course ..." Crag-Nor speaks.
"The Merge. Nya, Eris, Draal, is this where you woke up when it hit?" Lloyd asked.
"No. A lot happened to me and Eris after the Merge. But now's not the time to get into all those stories. Just know we woke up together, pretty far from here, and started to work our way back to Ninjago." Nya explains.
"Along the way, we found Draal and had him join us." Eris added.
Flashback is shown of Nya, Eris, and Draal walking through the Realm of Madness.
"And then one day, we saw something. After the Merge, the Realm of Madness ended up next to whatever realm Earth Dragons came from. The dragons found a field of Cragling mud that, when they ate it, gave them great powers, making them larger, fiercer."
Nya, Eris, and Draal sees Kai, Cragger, Worriz, and Flash fight the dragons.
"Kai?" Nya said.
"The field Ninja Nya speaks of is no regular mud. It is a sacred area, burial ground to our ancestors." Crag-Nor said.
Arin, Sora, and Daryl gagged at hearing this.
"That's not where this mud is from." Nya tells them.
Arin and Sora breathe a sigh of relief. Arin goes back to eating.
"The mud the dragons are stealing, it's the source of our life energy, our very essence." Crag-Nor said.
"So they get their power from some external source? Huh." Sora said.
"That's why the Craglings are crumbling and breaking apart. The dragons are stealing their life force." Nya said as a Cragling's arm falls apart.
"Kai, Cragger, Worriz, and Flash searching the lands, stumbled into this conflict, and of course, got involved." Draal said.
"Nya, is that you?" Kai said.
"Eris! It's you!" Cragger said.
They embrace each other as they were happy to see each other again.
"We were sure we could put a stop to this, so we came up with a battle plan." Draal said.
"That's when we got involved." Sasha said.
The scene shows Abraham leading his group through the Realm of Madness. They were all still a bit shaken by everything has happened.
"We were still getting use to what happened. We had no idea what happened or how we got teleported away from that church. We were about to head off to Washington D.C. and that's when The Merge happened." Abraham explains.
That's when they're attacked by some Earth Dragons. Their guns have no effect on their stone-like skin. That's when Worriz appears as he jumps over them and blasted a full plasma beam at the Earth Dragons, making them fly away.
"You okay?" Worriz asked.
"Your wolf friend explains everything to us on what has happened. The Merge and what he did to our world. He was explaining the situation he was currently and then seeing how we had no idea where to go we figured we might as well help with their drag problem." Rosita says.
The Craglings attack the dragons with the help of Kai, Nya, Eris, Cragger, Worriz, Draal, Flash, and the Survivors but they evade their boulders. A dragon drinks from the mud and grows larger in size. Kai, Cragger, Worriz, and Flash is sent flying by a boulder.
"Kai!" Nya shouts.
"Cragger! Worriz!" Eris shouts.
The Bounty gets attacked as Nya and Eris are about to abandon ship. Nya then quickly activate the auto pilot, sending it back to the monastery.
"We needed help. I sent the Bounty on autopilot toward the monastery, hoping someone was there." Nya said.
"Kai's ... gone?" Lloyd said.
"Cragger... Worriz?" Laval said.
"Flash..." Sonic said.
"We searched everywhere for them. I don't want to lose hope, but it's hard not to." Nya said.
Elsewhere, Kai, Cragger, Eris, and Flash wanders through the Kingdom of Madness.
"Oh, I'm starving. Ugh, how far away is that Cragling Village? I could really use a cool mud bath right now. And a mud dinner. Mm." Kai said.
"Oh I love mud." Cragger said.
They then see the gates of the Craglings' dwelling.
"Alright! Our lucky day!" Kai said.
He sees the two dragons in his way and shudders. He tries to sneak past, but trips and screams, waking them.
"Hey there." Kai said.
"Kai's really gone? He was my favorite ninja!" Arin said.
Sora gives him a look.
"Second favorite." Arin said.
"This isn't only about saving the Cragling. It's about taking down the dragons that destroyed my brother." Nya said.
Kai, Cragger, and Worriz screams in the distance as Riyu hears them.
"We can all help. Sora and Arin and training to become ninja. Sora and Daryl have elemental powers, and Arin taught himself a strange form of Spinjitzu." Lloyd said.
"You can't teach yourself Spinjitzu." Nya said.
"That's like... impossible." Eris said.
"I know. But he did. My students are new, but they're good and ready to fight. Kai was your brother, but he was also one of my best friends." Lloyd said.
Kai, continues to scream in the background.
"It's almost as if I can hear Kai's cries for help in my head." Lloyd said.
"Nya? Nya? Help!" Kai shouts.
"You're not imagining that." Nya said.
They head outside to see Kai, Cragger, Worriz, and Flash running.
"Kai! You're still alive!" Nya said in joy.
"We made a terrible mistake!" Kai shouts.
Behind them were some of the Earth Dragons.
"You brought the dragons right to us? I'm gonna kill you!" Nya said.
"Okay, now remember: don't just rush in. We need a battle pla —" Lloyd says.
"Forget all that." Nya said as she charges into battle.
Eris and Draal join in on the battle as Nya blasted water at the dragons.
"Oh, hey, Lloyd! When'd you get here? And who are the kids? You babysitting or something?" Kai said.
Nya and Eris are sent flying. Kai, Worriz, Laval, and Lloyd with the other heroes start to attack.
"I'll get this one." Kai said.
He charges up, but Lloyd hits his target before him.
"Hey, I said I had that one!" Kai said.
"I didn't know which one you were talking about. Be more specific!" Lloyd said.
"Kai! Take the one on the left!" Nya said.
"Who's left?" Kai asked.
He screams as he is knocked back.
"Is this what trained ninja warriors are supposed to look like?" Sora asked.
"Not exactly." Rexxar said.
"It's been a long time since they were together. Come on!" Arin said.
"Hey, buddy. I know Lloyd thinks I have the power in myself, but I'm pretty sure I get it form you. So, any chance you could ..." Sora says to Riyu.
Riyu powers her up.
"Yeah!" She said as she assembles the mech. "Wow. Now that's what I call an upgrade."
She catches up with the others.
"Who wants a ride for an air attack?" Sora asked.
"I like this kid." Nya said as she jumps on.
She and Sora attack together.
The ninja and survivors attack. As they fight, Sora starts powering down after a while.
"I'm losing my power!" Sora shouts.
"Get out of here!" Kai shouts.
Sora and Nya fall from the sky. Lloyd and Kai catch them.
"I'm sorry, Lloyd. I lost control." Sora said.
Around them, the Craglings fall apart while the Earth dragons continue to eat the mud.
"This is all kinds of bad." Arin said.
Riyu approaches the dragons and powers up.
"Is your dragon siding with them?" Cragger asks.
"We gotta stop him!" Kai said as he fires up.
"No. This might not be what it looks like." Lloyd said.
"He's overloading them! Get down!" Sora shouts.
A shockwave of energy passes through the realm. The Earth dragons shrink back and normal size and leave.
"What's happening?" Cragger asked.
"The energy the Earth Dragons consumed. It burst out of them and is returning to the sacred field." Nya said.
The fallen Craglings awaken.
"The sacred life force! Ninja Nya and her friends saved us!" A Cragling said.
"It wasn't us. It was him." Nya said pointing to Riyu.
"A ... a dragon? A dragon saved us?" Crag-Nor said surprised.
"He doesn't look so good." Arin said.
Riyu collapses. Later, he wakes in the Craglings' dwelling.
"Good morning, boy." Arin said.
"The great hero awakes!" Crag-Nor said.
A Cragling sets down a bowl of mud before Riyu.
"Hero dragons can eat as they want." Cragling said as Riyu eats.
"Good kids you found here, Lloyd. And dragon." Kai said.
"I only wish Master Wu was here to properly train them." Lloyd said as they frown.
"I think they're learning a lot from you, Lloyd." Nya said.
"Learning? Ha. Maybe Arin is. I almost got Nya destroyed in that battle. (Her mech falls apart.
"You're wasting your time on me, Lloyd." Sora said to herself, quietly.
Rexxar heard this and felt sorry for her. If only there was a way that he could cheer her up.

Chapter 5: Writers of Destiny
Summary:
After helping the Craglings, our heroes head back to Ninjago City only to come across the Cloud Kingdom. There, our heroes get involved in a situation along with finding familiar faces.

On the Destiny's Bounty, Arin checks on Riyu who is sleeping.
"Our little guy's still asleep. Totally exhausted." Arin said.
"Saving a kingdom of magical mud-eating rock monsters will do that." Lloyd said.
"So you're telling me this dragon, like, "sparks" or something, then Sora can use her elemental power?" Kai said.
"If I even have a power. It might be all Riyu. You saw how he powered up that mud field." Sora said.
"We've gone over this. You have a power. Riyu just ... soups it up." Lloyd said.
"Souping up" isn't how dragons work, is it? That's weird, right?" Nya said.
"Everything's been weird since the Merge happened. With seeing Draal now an Elemental Master of Crystal and Daryl now as an Elemental Master of Magic. It's a lot to take in." Laval said.
"I still find it weird and crazy that Daryl is an Elemental Master now." Rosita said.
"Pfft. Believe me, it was weird for me. But I think I'm starting to get the hang of it." Daryl said.
"As far as I know, no one's ever taught themselves Spinjitzu before. But then, the Merge hits, and suddenly ..." Lloyd said.
"Wa — wait. You learned Spinjitzu by yourself? No Master Wu morning breath?" Kai said.
"Seriously? That's... I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but... cool." Worriz said.
"Wow, hear that from him, is a bit crazy." Cragger said.
"Well, it's kind of a shaky, basic Spinjitzu." Arin said.
"But still better than any of us could do when we started out." Lloyd said.
"I was just trying to figure out all the moves I'd seen you do. I'm ... kind of a ninja fan." Arin said.
"Kind of"? Sora chuckles. "He once asked a barber to give him "the Zane".
"It did not go well." Rexxar said.
"Of course not. He should've gotten "the Kai"." Kai said whipping his hair.
"Please. You shouldn't even get "the Kai"." Nya said as she turns to Lloyd. "And you think all this is tied to these Merge Quake things?"
"Maybe. MergeQuakes are like aftershocks of the original Merge, where two realms try to occupy the same space. Elemental powers shut them down, but they're happening more often." Lloyd explained.
"That's why Cragger, Worriz, and I went searching for help. If we don't stop the MergeQuakes, they could destroy everything." Kai said.
"So far, we haven't found Jay, Zane, Cole, Gorzan, Rogon, and Bladvic." Eris said.
Behind him, Arin accidentally punches himself in the face. Rexxar helps him up.
"Wow. So we've really got our work cut out for us when we get back to Ninjago City." Eris said.
"Speaking of cities ..." Lloyd says.
They all turn to see that they are approaching the Cloud Kingdom.
"Whoa." Arin, Sora, Daryl, and Carol said.
"The Cloud Kingdom. Whoa." Kai said.
Sora: Why wasn't this here on our way out?
"It's a floating kingdom. Maybe it drifted into our path?" Lloyd said.
"Looks relaxing here. I could really get used to this." Arin sighs.
"Anyone else feel that?" Tyreese asked.
The area around them shakes violently. They stop the ship.
"Relaxation is cancelled!" Arin shouts.
The heroes are seen on floating debris in space. Lloyd, Green Arrow, and Laval are jump up as they punched some debris out of the way. Daryl and Carol jumped in as Rexxar the Mok'nathal slashed through the debris on his Gundark.
🎶Lost in the unknown, so much to see🎶
Arin swings around with his grappling hook as he does Spinjitzu as he changes into his Ninja suit.
🎶Together we will rise!🎶
He then rides a dragon.
🎶Yeah!🎶
🎶We fight!🎶
Baby Riyu is then seen supercharging Sora with his power as they all charge together.
🎶Be a ninja for what's right!🎶
The ninja barely manage to avoid part of a building crashing down on them.
"Help!" A Woman screams.
Kai, Nya, Cragger, Eris, Worriz, Sonic, and Draal share a nod, then use Spinjitzu to reach Euphrasia and Marcus.
"Don't worry, we got —" Kai said.
All of them fall. Arin uses his grappling hook to get them all to safety.
"Way impressive, Arin! Very ninja." Kai said.
"And Kai rarely admits to being impressed." Nya added.
"What's happening here?" Lloyd asked.
"The beast is smashing everything! How was this unforeseen?" Euphrasia said.
"Beast? What beast?" Nya asked.
They turn to see a giant starfish-like monster with tentacles and a single eye emerge from a rift.
"Oh, that one." Nya said.
"Wanted to know more about MergeQuakes, Nya? Today's your lucky day. This monster's realm must be merging here." Lloyd said.
Overhead, two Ice Dragons attack the monster.
"There are dragons here?" Abraham asked.
"They came from one of the lands we crossed over and thought this would be a safe place to live." Euphrasia said.
"Everyone, save the people. Laval and I will try to close the MergeQuake." Lloyd said.
The ninja began to disperse.
"What about us?" Rosita asked.
"Unless you have powers or advance fighting skills like us... Best you guys stay back." Draal said.
Sora leaps into her mech.
"Let's see if this thing still works the old-fashioned way, with no elemental powers." Sora said as it activates. "Yes!"
Kai hits the monster with fire to no avail.
"A fireproof monster? I hate fireproof monsters!" Kai said.
"Prepare to be impressed again, Kai!" Arin says as he starts to do Spinjitzu, but is grabbed by the monster.
"Never mind!" Arin squeaks.
"Arin!" Rexxar shouts as he attacks only to get grabbed by the monster as well.
Sora blocks a tentacle with her mech.
"Ew. This thing is slimier than it looks. It's like fighting a tongue." Sora said as she is hurled away by the monster. "I misjudged that!"
She sees some people standing and writing in a circle.
"What are you doing? Get to safety! Can you not hear me, I said —" Sora screams as the monster grabs her again.
"Help!" Arin shouts.
"This just went from bad, to super bad." Kai said.
"Lloyd! Laval! Don't close the MergeQuake!" Nya said.
"Have you lost your mind? We need to close it!" Lloyd said.
"Not yet! We can't hurt this thing, but we can force it back into the MergeQuake, right?" Eris said.
She, Nya, Kai, Cragger, Worriz, and Draal use Spinjitzu to slam the monster back.
"I hope — their plan — works." Arin said.
"Same — here!" Rexxar said.
"We won't — be around — if it doesn't!" Sora said.
"It's working! If the creature's near the Merge when we close it, I think it'll get pulled back into its realm!" Lloyd said.
Lloyd and Laval blasted the rift as the monster starts to glitch. It throws Arin, Sora, and Rexxar away.
"I've lost power!" Sora shouts.
"Don't worry, I got this!" Arin says as he fires his grappling hook, but it doesn't latch onto anything. "Help! Anyone!"
Just before they hit the ground, they start hovering by a gust of wind.
"Huh? What's happening? Are you doing this?" Arin asked.
"Not me." Rexxar said.
"Yeah, with the new flying power I don't have?" Sora said.
They are set gently onto the ground by an unseen force.
"That wasn't normal, right?" Rexxar said.
He sees Euphrasia with a glowing white hand watching them as she gets back to writing.
"She's the Elemental Master of Wind?" Arin said in awe.
Kai and the Ninja return to the Bounty.
"Let's kick this thing back to wherever it came from." Kai said.
"Now you're speaking my language!" Worriz laughs.
Kai, Nya, Cragger, Eris, Worriz, Sonic, and Draal use their Spinjitzu to knock back the monster in the rift as Laval and Lloyd succeed in closing the rift.
"Yaya! Way to go, us!" Kai says.
The ninja fly to a different section of the Cloud Kingdom, not noticing the rift reopening behind them.
"This is pretty far out from the original Merge for a MergeQuake." Lloyd says.
"So they're getting worse, and happening in more places. Just like you were afraid they would." Nya said.
"Indeed." Cragger said.
"Master Wu was studying the Merge before it happened. He called it the "Coalescence" or something. He had a ton of scrolls about it." Lloyd said.
"Great! Then we just use them to figure out how to stop these things." Nya said.
"Not great. Most of the scrolls, and his notes, were lost in the Merge."
"Oh." Nya moans.
"Listen, King and Queen of Buzzkill, I'm gonna go talk to these cloud monks. I'm sure they're dying to tell us how awesome we just were." Kai said.
They meet up with Arin, Sora, Rexxar near the monks standing in a circle.
"Hello, fabled ninja. I am Suetonius, the current Master Writer of the Cloud Kingdom. And you're welcome." Suetonius said.
"Is this backwards day? Who's thanking who?" Cragger asked.
"Yeah, the ninja saved everyone while you all stood here writing." Sora said.
"Of course. Because here in the Cloud Kingdom, we are the Writers of Destiny." Suetonius said.
"Oh, right. I forgot. In the Cloud Kingdom, they believe everything they write in their scrolls is immediately what happens in real life." Eris said.
"Not belief. Fact. I instructed my scribes to write that you would be victorious, and you were. Fact." Suetonius said.
"Why doesn't that sound quite right?" Sora said.
"Because it isn't. The Cloud Kingdom claims they're responsible for fate, but when something they write doesn't happen, they ignore it." Lloyd said.
"I admit that, on occasion, events somehow manage to defy destiny. But that is exceedingly rare." Suetonius said.
"Can you write that my parents come back? They were lost in the Merge." Arin said.
"Sadly, no, my son. Because —" Suetonius said.
"Lemme guess. The Merge "defied destiny"." Lloyd said.
"The Merge did catch the Cloud Kingdom by surprise, like it did everyone else. But I've instructed the scribes to write that a MergeQuake like we just experienced will never come again. So, problem solved." Suetonius said.
"Wait. You write down everything that's happened everywhere, right?" Nya asked.
"Everything that has happened and everything that will happen." Suetonius said.
"So if there's any info about how to stop MergeQuakes, it could be in your archives?" Nya says.
"Huh. Smart thinking, Nya." Lloyd said.
"Did you not just hear me say "problem solved"? Still, we do encourage all truth seekers to study our learned writings. Show the ninja to the library, Marcus." Suetonius said.
"This way, please." Marcus says.
"Ninja?"
The Ninja and the others turned to see two identical trolls walking over. Both have four arms and six eyes, but the only difference was their skin color. One was blue and the other green. It was Blinkous Galadrigal and Dictatious Galadrigal. Trolls from Arcadia Oaks.
"It's so good to see my friends." Blinkous Galadrigal said.
"Yes, how nice it is to see some familiar faces." Dictatious said.
"Blinky! Dictatious! So good to see you again." Lloyd said.
"My fellow trolls, good to see you two in one piece." Draal said.
"You know them?" Carol asked.
"Trolls who are my friends and friends of the Ninja of course." Draal explained.
"So this is where you two ended up?" Sonic asked.
"Yep. My brother and I were helping our fellow Trolls get to safety when the next thing you know, we got stranded here." Dictatious said.
"I don't suppose you found Master Jim?" Blinky asked.
Draal shook his head as Blinky frowns.
"Have no fear. The Trollhunter once survived the Darklands alone, I'm sure he can handle himself out there if he is alone." Draal said, assuring Blinky.
"I suppose so." Blinky said.
"Guys?"
The Ninja and Survivors turn to see Father Gabriel walking up to them.
"You're here." Father Gabriel says.
"Well, I'll be dammed." Abraham said.
"Father Gabriel... how?" Tara asked.
"The Merge. Right before you guys left, the Merge happened. Flash of light and I ended up here. The Monks here helped me and explained everything on what happened." Father Gabriel said.
"Well, at least you survived." Daryl said.
"Anyways... We'll check this out. You guys stay here and keep watch." Lloyd tells to Arin, Sora, and Rexxar.
"You want us to just wait?" Arin said.
"We're in unfamiliar territory. Anything could go wrong. Call us the second you need us." Lloyd said.
"Will do!" Arin said.
On the Bounty, Arin feeds Riyu pie, while Sora repairs her mech. Rexxar was sharpening his axes. As for Daryl and his group, they began to look around the Cloud Kingdom as Father Gabriel shows them around.
"Ugh. It was bad when this thing fell to pieces. Now it's completely crushed. I can't even begin to repair it! They really should have let you go with them. You deserve to be there." Sora said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Arin asked.
"You taught yourself some Spinjitzu, Arin. You should become a ninja more than anyone. Way more than me." Sora said.
"But you have an elemental power." Arin said.
"That I keep messing up with. I could've gotten Nya killed in that dragon Cragling fight we were in before we got here. I do know it would be better for everyone if I never use them again. I can't control them." Sora said.
Arin offers her a hug, and she chuckles. Rexxar gets in on that hug too.
"You're a good friend." She said.
Arin sees something in the distance.
"Sora, Rexxar, look! It's the girl with the elemental wind powers!" Arin says.
Marcus leads Kai, Nya, Worriz, Laval, Cragger, Eris, and Lloyd to the Cloud Kingdom archives.
"And that's how storm clouds can wash ink stains out of white togas. Okay, we're here." Marcus said showing them a massive library of scrolls.
"Okay, this might take a while." Kai said.
"Input search request." Scroll-Worm said.
"The library is vast. But that's why we have these." Marcus said as he picks up the Scroll-Worm. "Worm, bring me information on Lloyd Garmadon."
The worm turns green and speeds away.
"The worm will pass the request along, and soon, you have a team searching for your information." Marcus said.
They then see the multiple worms get to work as they search for the information.
"Wow, these things are great." Lloyd said.
"Information obtained. Garmadon, Lloyd. Legendary Green Ninja. Picks his nose and eats it." Scroll-Worm speaks.
"Stop! These things are terrible!" Lloyd said, embarrassed.
"Apologies. The Cloud Kingdom archives are very detailed." Marcus said.
"Alright, let's give this a shot." Nya said.
"Input search request." Scroll-Worm said.
"Search for info on how to prevent MergeQuakes." Nya tells the worm.
The Scroll-Worm absorb the information as a it then speeds off.
"Oh, looks like someone has a new nickname, Master of Green Boogers." Kai joked.
They laugh while Lloyd groans. Arin, Sora, and Rexxar catch the girl just as she exits a building.
"Nice weather you've got up here, even if it is a little ... windy?" Sora said.
"I have no idea what you mean." Euphrasia said.
"She means how you're the new Elemental Master of Wind." Arin said.
"It's impressive. Guess the Elemental Power of Wind found a new person for it." Rexxar said.
"I don't know what you think you saw, but I'm from Cloud Kingdom, so I can't be an elemental master." Euphrasia said.
"Uh, you can, 'cause you are." Sora said.
"Elemental masters use actions to impact the world. Cloud monks use words only. Writing destiny is our power. Anything else, especially actions, violates who we are." Euphrasia said.
"Trust me, I know this stuff can be scary. But the ninja can train you." Sora said.
"Having a power would get me exiled from the Cloud Kingdom. I would lose my family, my friends, my whole way of life. So I. Don't. Have. A. Power!" Euphrasia said as she storms off.
"I'd give anything to have an elemental power. How could she turn her back on it?" Arin said.
Rapton watches them from a distance.
"Oh, so cute. Wrapped up in their own drama. They'll never even see us coming." Rapton laughs evilly and backs into the cover of the clouds.
In the Cloud Kingdom archives, the Scroll-Worm returns.
"Information obtained. MergeQuakes can be permanently prevented via usage of the thr —" Scroll-Worm speaks when suddenly, it stops mid-sentence and turns red.
"Curious. I've never seen that before." Marcus says.
The Scroll-Worm spits silk from its mouth.
"Ugh, gross! What part of the worm is that string coming from?" Kai said.
More Scroll-Worms turn red and join in to attack the ninja.
Outside, the ground shakes again. Arin, Sora, Rexxar, Daryl, and the other Survivors watch the starfish monster reemerge from a rift.
"Remember how Lloyd said to call him 'cause anything could go wrong? I think this counts as "anything"." Sora said.
"Lloyd! Kai! Worriz! Nya! Come in! Hello? Come in!" Arin said as he puts on his hood.
"Master Suetonius, you said this couldn't happen again!" Euphrasia said to Suetonius.
"Destiny is clearly testing our resolve, Euphrasia. Keep writing! Write that this MergeQuake ends!" Suetonius said.
"The ninja aren't answering! I've gotta go find them." Arin said to Sora, Rexxar, and the others.
He rushes into the Cloud Kingdom archives.
"Lloyd? Kai? Are you — whoa." Arin says as he sees cocoons hanging from the ceiling and shoots down one of them. He opens it to find Lloyd. "Lloyd!"
"Behind you!" Lloyd shouts.
The red Scroll-Worms start to attack.
The starfish monster attacks the circle of monks.
"Keep writing! Only the words of destiny can save us now!" Suetonius says to the monks.
A monk rights his easel and writes, but Euphrasia stares at the monster. On the Bounty, Sora continues to repair her mech.
"Ugh. Useless hunk of junk." Sora says as she looks to Riyu. "I know what you're thinking, Riyu. But I can't control the powers. I'll just make this all worse."
The monster tries to strike the Bounty. Sora ducks, but someone pushes the tentacle away. She looks to see Euphrasia floating with her wind powers.
"Time to make our own destiny!" Euphrasia says as she pushes the monster back with her powers.
"Is that Euphrasia?" A Monk said.
"She's abandoned her scrolls! This is not our way. What is she doing?" Suetonius said.
"I think she is saving us." The Monk said.
Euphrasia pushes the monster back, but a second one emerges from the rift. She is grabbed by a tentacle. Sora arrives in her mech and saves her with Daryl floating by her side with his magic.
"Thank you." Euphrasia said.
"So much for turning our backs on our elemental powers. Let's do this!" Sora said.
She and Euphrasia attack together.
"We've got to shut down that MergeQuake before more of these things come through!" Daryl said.
"We can help with that!"
They turn to see Lloyd and Laval arriving with Arin. They do Spinjitzu as they began to take action. Lloyd and Laval fire their powers at the monsters. They continue Spinjitzu as they flew all around to fight.
"Whoa!" Arin said.
He collides with Lloyd and flies through the air, landing on Sora's mech. "Hi. Did you ..."
"It was kinda necessary. Where've you been?" Sora said.
"I released the ninja from the evil worm cocoons in the cloud basement." Arin said.
"Yeah, that's a nonsense jumble of words and you know it." Sora said as Rexxar laughs.
They continue to fight the monsters. Debris nearly crushes the circle of monks, but Nya saves them from it.
"Thank you for writing that the ninja would save us." Suetonius said.
"But, Master Suetonius, none of us were writing anything." A Monk said.
Kai, Nya, Cragger, Eris, Worriz, Draal, Sonic, Blinkous, and Dictatious are seen doing Spinjitzu as they try to knock the monsters back through the rift. Euphrasia wind boosted Arin as he Spinjitzu kicked the monster into each other, knocking them back through the rift. Lloyd and Laval fire their Elemental beams into the rift as it starts to close. Euphrasia and Daryl fly up with their powers as they force the third monster towards the rift. Arin uses his grappling hook to pull it in as Sora and Rexxar help along. Kai and Nya do Spinjitzu as Euphrasia uses her wind to keep them afloat as she boost them up towards the monster. They spring the monster into the others as they were all in the rift. Together, all the Elemental Masters fired their powers into the rift.
The rift finally closes as the monsters disappeared as well. They did it. Once again, The Ninja saved the day.
"So, you're the new Elemental Master of Wind, huh?" Lloyd said to Euphrasia.
[chuckles] "That's what it looks like, I guess." Euphrasia said.
"I knew the last one. I already like you more." Lloyd said, talking about a certain ghost.
They approach the cheering monks and Survivors.
"Master, I knew what I did goes against everything we believe in. But after the Merge, I discovered I was an Elemental Master." Euphrasia said to Suetonius as she floats with her power. "I tried to deny it, but when I saw I could help save our kingdom, I just couldn't hide who I was any longer. I realize this means ... I will be exiled from the Cloud Kingdom."
"Perhaps it's time for us to admit that the Merge has changed a few things." Suetonius said.
"You mean ... I can stay?" Euphrasia asked hopefully.
"I'll require someone's assistance updating how we do things around here. Maybe that could be you." Suetonius said.
Euphrasia smiles. The monks cheer again.
"So, uh, what happened to the world being better if you never use those powers again?" Arin said.
"I'm still not sure I'm meant to be a ninja, but someone inspired me not to sit on the sidelines when I have the chance to help people." Sora said as she glances towards Euphrasia.
"Was it me? Oh, it was me, right? You should've seen me kicking those evil worms! Very inspiring." Arin says as he screams as a Scroll-Worm appears on his head.
"So, you have no idea why the Scroll-Worms acted like that?" Nya said to Marcus.
"No. But I suppose it's possible the worms were cursed to become defensive when certain information was requested from them. Forbidden information." Marcus said.
"Cursed by who?" Worriz asked.
"I don't know who would do such a thing. Or how they could." Marcus said.
Later, all the ninja except Nya, Eris, Blinkous, Dictatious, and Father Gabriel get ready to leave on the Bounty.
"You sure about this, Nya?" Lloyd asked.
"If there are answers in the archives about the MergeQuakes, someone needs to keep searching for them. It won't be easy without the Scroll-Worms, but ... ninja never quit." Nya said.
"You know where to find us when you have something, sis." Kai says as he waves at her.
"I was quite the fast reader in our Eagle Tower, so finding the answers should be a breeze." Eris said.
"My brother and I will also stay behind to help mistress Nya and Eris. Us Galadrigals are good when it comes to liberties and knowledge." Blinky said to them.
"The four of us will find that knowledge." Dictatious said.
"You gonna stay here, Father Gabe?" Daryl asked.
"I am. This... new world has given me a chance to live a better peaceful life. Better than our old world was. Maybe one day I'll rejoin you guys." Father Gabriel said.
Daryl nodded as he understood. With their old world gone and replaced with this new one, it was no question that members of their group would want a chance at a fresh new life. The virus took their old lives away, and this new world has given them a chance to live new better lives.
"Good luck Draal. And if you do see Master Jim, tell him that I'm okay and... I love him." Blinky said.
Draal smiles.
"I will." Draal said.
"Let's get back to the monastery, boogers." Kai said to Lloyd.
"Stop it." Lloyd said.
Kai laughs as they depart. Up in the skies, Rapton's forces are carrying the two Ice Dragons away from Cloud Kingdom. Rapton contacts Ras.
"It worked perfectly, Lord Ras, just like you and the Empress planned. There was so much chaos, no one even noticed us." Rapton said.
"Imperium continues to gain the upper hand, and the ninja are entirely in the dark." Ras said.
